So has it gotten better for anyone since the newest patch ?
I just had a shift without a single issue. No extensive talking, no food not served.
Only thing that happened was that one of the waitresses just left again.
I'll just say I'm still using mc command centre so not sure if my feedback is helpful. My resturants are much worse, the ones my sims own. The standing and group talking is much worse now post patch. At one point today pretty much the whole resturant was standing, putting wine on floor. sigh I really like resturants but this is annoying me.
Npc resturants work well. Always have pre and post patch. Also before this patch I tried a new game, no mods and its wasn't much different re standing.
I have a problem in my doctors career. The staff consists of 2 doctors, including my sim, one nurse and one front desk sim but no orderly to clean in fix. Can this be a cc/mod problem.
So, I opened a restaurant with the intent to have an ice cream parlor, but the customers never order dessert. Now that I think about it, I’ve never seen a customer order dessert. Is this a known issue?
Did you just put one appetizer and one main mail so they have lots of desert choices ? If you choose none, the game just adds some on their own in my experience.

So, initially, I had drinks and desserts, and they only ever ordered the drinks. Then I added a few appetizers, and of course they only ordered the appetizers. Then I took all the drinks and appetizers off the menu and left only water and desserts, and everyone only ever “ordered” water.
I’ve checked with a few friends who are doing a restaurant challenge I made up, and they all said that they have never seen Sims order dessert unless it was recommended to them.
I haven't seen this issue reported about since Get to Work allowed us to buy lots for retail stores, so I'm very annoyed. And of course, today is patch day. My household owns a 4 1/2 star restaurant. It was built on an empty lot from scratch. I decided to try to buy a new lot to make a second restaurant for this same household. Empty lot in Newcrest, just like the first restaurant. It brings my active sim to the empty lot as per usual, and I went to go transfer money to the restaurant fund account and it won't bring up the box when I click it. I cannot transfer funds to or from either account. My other restaurant shows that I still have funds in that account so I think it's my household funds that were zeroed out. The new lot does not show up in my list of owned restaurant lots. When I go to manage my worlds, it shows that my household does own that lot and it is definitely registered as a restaurant lot. Because it doesn't show up in my list, I can't sell it. Help?

Can you sell the lot when going to manage worlds ? There should be the option at manage worlds when you click on the lot to be able to sell it. Then your sim can rebuy it.

Can you sell the lot when going to manage worlds ? There should be the option at manage worlds when you click on the lot to be able to sell it. Then your sim can rebuy it.

I can't sell it period. Even on manage worlds.
Try placing a restaurant building from your library onto the lot. Then see if you have the option to sell the restaurant.

Just to test, could you try having your sim visit the restaurant and check that they can order dessert? You may have already tested it, but it just makes sure that there isn't an error in ordering dessert.

I'll need to retest his. Maybe there was something borked with that in the last patch (or was it never possible for you) ?

is the faster eating perk still causing issues? because I have just realized after reading the posts that if i move my sim out of the household they will lose the restraunt and perks,etc...I'm wondering if i don't get that perk if there will be less issues? If anyone knows? Its too late for me to start a new game tonite, so if anyone knows, please let me know
I have had several issues. Employee's will either not all come into work or will stand outside for hours and not come in. My employees get deleted I know this is called culling but why should I have to move them all into a house, they shouldn't even have them as options if they don't already live in a neighborhood. It's frustrating when you train them and spend money on training and then they get deleted and you have to start over. Sometimes the restaurant doesn't close and I lose money. Sometimes my employees will literally go do other things like go and clean a sink for the entire 8 hours I have it open and they still get paid. Customers will be at the restaurant for 8 hours and I have only served at most 5 people and I have the cooks on cook quickly. You don't really make any money with the cost of operation and cost of paying the employees and food. I have no mods or cheats added to the game. It's frustrating that I see all these updates and not one of the issues that many people are having are being fixed. I feel like I have wasted my money and I'm disappointed because I love the game but the glitches are horrible.

Can you try what happens if you add an ice cream maker to the lot ? It should NOT be needed but it might be worth a test.

Can you sell the lot when going to manage worlds ? There should be the option at manage worlds when you click on the lot to be able to sell it. Then your sim can rebuy it.
