Oh, don't feel silly. When I first got Custard, I was uploading a family for a contest here, checked the file in custard, saw the red .png files and deleted them all, LOL. Then, I wondered why the pictures messed up on the upload, so after scouring the forums I realized what I did, laughed at myself for panicking (because I knew what a .png file was, too) and reuploaded
I did just double check my uploads in Custard and the pics are still coming up red, but not corrupt. Custard doesn't like image files, apparently.
@StephSteb Now that you mention it, I think I have heard that custard has that issue with image files.
I have another question, if you don't mind. I just scanned another family. On the first line it lists the type as "CAS Part (Clothing)" instead of "Sims 3 Package" and has a sub-type "Formalwear (yaf)". Is that okay?
That should be fine. The only time you have to worry is when it says corrupt. It might just mean that the young adult female's formalwear has a custom pattern or is custom content. It always has something like that on the first line. After you use it a few times, you will know what to look for. I think there's a thread about Custard in the tech forums. If you search Custard, it will probably pop up. I also posted a youtube tutorial I found over in the All's Faire In Love and War thread, if that will help

But cc and CAP are not allowed for this contest. So, anything other than Sims3pack or an image file would be bad. I think that it means the young adult female (yaf) formalwear is not standard EA wear. Sometimes store content will display as cc in one's game for some weird install reason such as an .ebc file that is too large in size. I am not sure if that would trigger the prompt or not, but I would ask the contestant to double check their formalwear.
@StephSteb and @ciane Thank you again, for helping translate what Custard is telling me. I guess I didn't know how to use it as well as I thought I did.
@blair2396 Please double-check the Butterfields for CC. Specifically, young adult female formalwear. I can provide an image of the custard scan if that would be helpful.
I just checked them and her formalwear did show up as CC. I could have sworn I checked that, but I was doing this in between finals so I guess my brain was a little fried. I have edited my original post with a new link to the CC-free version. I double checked them, so they should be good now. If not, then I must be really out of it lol

You are right. @ciane Sometimes, when you just change the color or even make the color lighter or darker of an EA pattern, it will trigger as custom content. @KaytayRoall I'm still learning Custard as well. It does take some getting used to.
@blair2396 Thank you for your quick response! Brain-fry during finals is very understandable. I hope they went well for you! Unfortunately, now the household is showing a corrupt .package file.
@StephSteb You have plenty of time to upload an edited entry.
It wasn't the main file that was corrupt, so I tried removing the bit that said it was corrupt with custard. Now it scans as okay, so I'm going to try to take it in game and see how they look.
Edit: I'm hoping it will be okay. Sorry I'm not more help with this stuff. I'm still learning.
Okay, the sims seem to be intact in terms of skills and such. A few of the outfits look like they are probably default replacements, but that might be because I don't own a couple of the stuff packs you used. So I'd say your entry is clear. In case you're concerned about judging, I'm mostly going to be basing it on the story that goes with the entry and definitely won't hold any replacement outfits against you. Thank you for your patience while I figured this out.
I like the outfits and the furniture and stuff that comes with the games but THAT HAIR. I just can't >:/ Plus, I think I have a problem with patterns, lol.
@StephSteb - The only CC I got is haircuts for children and toddlers and some decorating stuff, only paintings I believe. My personal opinion is there's not enough nice big paintings in the game!

So I just saw I could enter a Sim I created for another game? I have a feeling he is perfect for your contest! This is his story and I used him for @23kels89 her contest as a help;
Verone Beaverdam
Growing up moving from town to town with his mother, Verone never had much friends, but he did miss it very much. One day his mother died, his father he had never known and he was a lone homeless teen. The closer he got to adulthood, the more he wanted to move to Lucky Palms, but once he moved in his restless soul couldn't find rest there either. Will he ever find a place to find peace with his past?
But I take it there have to be some changes in his life before I enter him? I mean, I would kind of feel weird about using an old upload, but he fits so perfectly *facepalm* so, the question being; what do you expect from a Sim that has been made before?
(I do have a plan, but I just want to be sure if that would be enough and all, I can be very oblivious sometimes!)

I hope that if I enter it will check just perfectly fine, I wouldn't know what to do if it didn't lol!
Me too! This certainly isn't going as smoothly as I hoped for my first contest I'm running.
As for entering a sim used for another contest, there are no extra requirements beyond those for a new entry. What you have is totally fine. The name is second chances and new beginnings, after all. I would say coming to peace with one's past and finding a place to call home is a perfect new beginning.
I finally finished the Butterfield's house, but I have a question. I have been trying to install Custard for a few days and I only just got it to work today (hence the reason I wasn't able to check the Butterfield's to begin with) and I'm still trying to figure this out. I just scanned my house and the first line says Sims 3 Package (which I guess it's supposed to), but then under that it has several lines in red that say Thumbnails. What exactly does this mean? I didn't take any pictures of the house itself, so I'm not sure why it says anything about thumbnails. I appreciate any help! You guys are awesome
@blair2396 Those thumbnails are just pictures for the exchange. Custard doesn't like image files so they always come up red. It's when it's bright red and says corrupt that you should uncheck the boxes and then save.

Haha! I know, right? I actually don't have any CC at all. I thought that would be simple but obviously it isn't!
Me too!
