    Hi :D

    Thanks. :D
We've just got back from shopping and now I'm going to get to work on the park.

@WR- I see they don't go to the military base for work. Is it all the careers from those houses (the other island house, too)? :(

I haven't played in the other house, but I would guess they would be the same. It seems to just be the military base career - as i did temporarily change my sims to town hall military, police department and then changed her to a ghost hunter so I could check more houses and routing - and so far that is the only real weird thing I saw.

Then night before last I went and changed the 64 x 64 lot to residential that is there where the base is and built my sims a cheap little start of a legacy house - well it is still weird. So I don't think it is the fact they lived on the island but something to do with the military base. I was shocked the car pool still comes as she can actually run toi the base and get to work faster. Also one day she was late, so I clicked to send her to work, figuring she would run and instead she called a cab - and the cab was even different than the car pool. So there is something off about the military area - that is not a problem anywhere else. I also tried the military at the town hall from the island and had no problem. So it's not the island I am 99 percent sure - but the set up for getting into the military base area - especially where it is still weird with her living right there now.

The house that sits on the island all by itself has an elder sim living there the game put in there, which is why I have not tried that house at all - but I see him come and go - he uses the water taxi a lot and has no issues. Also since I moved my sim out of the island hut the game placed a elder couple there and I have watched them every now and then and they don't have any issues when they do leave the island. They don't really leave the island much - they seem happy with the house and beach. They have a little dog too and I see them and the dog on the beach a lot. So I am sure it is just the military base - or more like the road that leads to the military base. I wonder if it might be the barriers on the sides of the road there. The taxi will at least come onto the street, but the car pool won't.

I did move a Sim into both houses and have them get the military career by the Airport. Both didn't go to work and didn't have the option. Once I reset the Military lot the girl went to work. She teleported to the large island by the beach houses and got in the carpool. I guess that'll work.

I'm also thinking about making the the lot larger for the Amusement park and leaving the build lot. If I can figure out how to not try and make such an elaborate roller coaster I can upload the lot for people to decide whichever lot to use. I'm sure there will be so many more to choose from.

I was trying to put a water park part to the amusement park and realized I have a water park already. :D

Yeah you do, and a very nice one at that. My sims love that place. It is a favorite for a lot of sims because the time I have brought sims there it is like all the neighborhood sims can't wait to get there - I had some come in the run. It is rather funny. But your water park is not just good - it is gorgeous to look at as well. I liked that so much it was on of the lots I uploaded to my library as it looks great in a lot of towns.

I do think maybe add the stone climbing wall if you have it - the basket ball game (not the basketball court. Skee ball, that toy claw machine, snow cones, maybe an arcade of sorts or bowling alley even. I have seen roller skating rinks also next to carnival parks. I know 6 flags in Agawam, Massachusettes has a big indoor skating ring and a masquerade dance hall next door to the park (it's a dance hall that had different themes every month and you had to be in proper costume to go there). Before it became 6 flags it used to be called Riverside Park - I just about lived there as a teen - but the roller skating rink (called the Rialto) was open year round as was the dance hall. The dance hall had a bowling alley in the basement and a penny arcade on the second floor.

There are two venues where Sims can get married- one at the Nectary and one at the Retreat. :)

Peachiecream - the link above will take you to this version - It is still in testing but it has no problems if you'd like to play it until Rflong gets back from the holiday and gets the final done. It plays wonderfully.

    Hi :D

    Thanks for helping, WR. :D

Hope it plays well for you both- Slyvanas and Peachiecream.

... I've learned I'm no good at making roller coasters. I get all complicated and frustrated it won't do what I want.

And I've been stuck trying to make Sims. Now I just turn off the game and go do something else because my Sims are all the same...

I was going to ask for help making some but I realize it's the Holidays for most people and we've all got lots of things to do. :D

Tell me about it - with the roller coasters I mean. It looks so simple - right? I am having about as good of luck. Granted I have only tried two different ones - but tried with smaller lots and it just didn't look right. So I figured I'd worry about it some other time.

I wouldn't worry about finishing up right now if I was you anyway - you are still getting over the flu and now we are in the midst of Holiday prep. I am sure some of the WE folks might be able to help - maybe others after we have the Holidays past. This version is playing nice anyway and I had plenty of sims to populate mine - unfortunately many are not my own sims - but if I have anything in the studio you want, help yourself. I do have two new ones but I don't think you will be able to use them because they are heavy into ITF stuff and travelling there - getting careers there and such. The female is the main tester for BC and the male I have been trying Johnny's new world with and getting him ready to move to BC - as I plan him for my females Legacy mate. But both have been skilled and training in ITF world and have clothing and such from it and all the new skills. But they are not in my studio yet - so anything else there help yourself if you need any of it.

My last two sims in there are a separate male and separate female - I also plan to get together eventually - they are supposed to be dripping with old money and brainy - eventually - hehehe. They do not have any ITF in them at all.

The rest of the store sims you have probably seen many times.

I do have a good number of sims in my game that I got by mating with sims I have downloaded - and until I get a few generations away from the downloaded parent I rarely share those. To me it is too much like sharing someone elses sims. I always make sure though I match them up with one of my own.

Well we have sleet storm going on today - not sure how long I will have the net. My signal is horrid. So I will probably try and catch your reply if there is one later. I am just hoping to keep my lights. They are blinking. Crazy New England weather.

    Thanks, WR. :D

I've been grabbing any interesting looking families the game puts in while I test. Not many, really. I'm looking for a Sim for each career and then I can mix up the families that way- a military family and the wife works at the consignment store; a group of Actors living in a shared house; a troupe of performers or a band sharing a place... things like that.

Some singles for the apartments, a few retired couples for house boats or/and rich couples for house boats... Need Sims who can run the resorts- but I've never lasted long playing that. :(

I'll post begging for help after the new year.

*Oh! Hope you keep power and the storm is gentle. :D

Well I am finally back. My hard drive failed but fortunately my favorite tech hero was able to clone all the info off it on to a new hard drive and install it yesterday. haven't tried to play yet as our GD from Kentucky is here and we are taking her all over the place. Yesterday we hit every clothing store at our local mall. Today we are off to the ocean. Will go to Monterey, maybe Carmel and then up to Halfmoon Bay. She was hoping to swim in the ocean but I think you understands now that the Pacific is not the Atlantic and she will freeze her tootsies off. I am sure she will want to wade in around on the edges for a few frigid seconds. :D My gd Hayati is going with us. Tomorrow my GD Amalie will go with us to Roseville to their great mall the Gallaria for more marathon shopping Amalie just arrived a few days ago for the holiday break from her college Mass. We then on Tuesday will be taking Deborah [her name] and Hayati up to see the Redwoods up in Calavaras in the mountains [hope there is a little snow as we are experiencing a drought and have had next to no rain or snow. then we will take her to see a couple of gold rush towns , Murphys and Angels Camp...more shopping...she is after all a teenager who just graduated from high school and celebrating. So maybe after she returns home this weekend I will be able to finally play. This is her first time away from home and we want to show her a very good time. I hope you all have a very wonderful holiday with your loved ones. Lots of hugs. :D

This city looks absolutely amazing! It looks absolutely stunning!I just got ITF EP and I am looking for the largest and most complete city and so far this is it!

    I have some questions/suggestions?
I am looking for a city that is HUGE that supports features of all the expansions packs, I am wondering if this city has dive spots/hidden islands, perhaps an in-city university and a shopping mall? I'm so excited for this to be done!!!

Tini - this has shopping malls, islands but not hidden. Dives spots as well. No world I know of has an in city Uni as the Uni will not work properly in a regular world. But I send all my sims to Uni from in here with no issues. I am well aware there are mods that make the Uni some what work - but knowing the AI I would not recommend it as they are bound to create lag eventually because the Uni building have their own programming tied to the Uni town - which can affect the AI after a while.

There are some of the Uni things availiable in here though like coffee shop with the Barista, a bowling alley - things that are not going to mess with the AI. This world has everything it can possibly have just about from IP down.

    Hi :D

It does have a hidden island- or it should. :XD:
I don't really have a mall but it does have areas that look like malls. I don't want to put everything in one store area or make two of everything for the mall. :(

Also, I've made many amusement lots with the Boardwalk but I've not liked any of them. It just will not do what I want... So I've tossed them.

I've had another water amusement park, a dino/themed amusement park, and a Big show amusement park... just not liking any of them. *sigh*

Oh - I forgot that island was hidden seeing it isn't in my game. hehehe But come to think of it, it was hidden. My bad.

Yeah I gave up after trying to make just two roller coasters on a smaller lot and both were terrible. I just consigned myself to download some others have made. I love the one Tammyjo made. It's very colorful and festive looking. I downloaded it, but have not added it to the world yet - in fact I got the new world with my Christmas cash card, but all I have done so far is just installed the world - haven't even opened it yet. We had a time all day and night with electric power and it took the electric company until 2 am this morning to finally get the power steady - so I had to go without my desktop all evening and night last night - which meant no sims period. I had less than 2 hours in Flstriders new world before I had to abandone sims and my desltop. Worried about surges and can't afford a new pc yet - so I had to forego even seeing the new world.

Seeing they finally got the power fixed, Pete went and did a months shopping - which meant I got to clean my fridge and freezer all after noon. Finally got that all done and everything put away. Still need to get all my new pyrex baking ware and other cooking things a new home somewhere - everybody buys me cooking stuff all the time and then I have to find a place to put it all - so I am debating if I should say enough for tonight and just go into the game or start cleaning all my cabinets and moving things around. Believe me I am edging toward the sims seeing Pete said we have another big storm coming in late tomorrow night and Monday. So I am thinking while the power is good - go for simming. I do need to get back to flstriders world and maybe get time to look at the new world. I might be able to make a couple sims for you as well seeing I always make new sims for every new world.

    Decisions, decisions.

Well for now I need to go make dinner - Pete is starting to growl. hehehe.

Hey I added the new sim I made for testing Flstriders world to my studio - he is as close as I could get to Emmet Cullen/Kellen Lutz but he has his own black hair and beautiful blue eyes. I did not make him a Vampire - he is human - he's athletic, Brave, Charismatic, loves to swim, and a virtuoiso - he works at the theater as he wants to be a rock star - but he is really just started. He plays guitar and drums. He has the skills he needs to start so far. I was careful not to use any stuff on him from Into the Future - but I still don't know if because it is installed if you will be able to download him - so what I need you do is try to download him and see what happens. If it works okay I can make you a few more sims with some of the other occupations - but if it won't let you download him - then there isn't much point in me trying to make you more sims. So just let me know. Like I said all the other sims in my studio were all made before I got Into the Future - but I figured I upload this one I just made so we can see if it works. I avoided all the Into the future stuff. He does have 3 things from the store - his guitar from the Casino I think, his sleeping wear from that romantic bedroom set. And that ipod thingy was in his inventory when I uploaded him.

Okay I will check back later today sometime to see if it worked or not for you - as I would like to help if I can. But no point if it won't work. hehehe later - hugz.
