There is a Save File Here which is Populated and has more lots...

**(Enable Aging, I had it off while editing Sims so it might be off in the save)
(It isn't really designated as a City)

[Go to where the file downloaded; Right click on it and choose Extract All- Browse to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Save -Extract ]

A. Little Chickie Boat not placed-Solution Here *fixed in Save

B. 23 Seagull Drive, the last apartment- Lot needs to be reset. Save to bin, delete built lot (leaving empty lot), place saved lot from bin.

C. School needs to be Reset

D. If traveling by boat, don't click on the lot to "Visit Lot" click on the water and choose "Boat Here."

E. The Beach lot by the Boardwalk needs to be set as a Beach. Go to Options, Edit Game- click on the lot and Lot type- choose Beach.

F. The cemetery building isn't set right for cleaning the dead. I hope to upload a lot to replace it soon... (will update)

8/8- That's it... I'm not sure what else to try. EIG will save as long as I don't add anything.

I'm going to pull this world back to the beginning and make it just a little smaller; streamlining the lots, making smaller lots with only a few large lots.

Which doesn't mean I'm giving up on having all the Store venues in the world or all the Store items I've always wanted to use. I will make it work... Tomorrow, I start anew. No more then 175 lots...maybe only 165 if I can pull some magic from my hat. :shock:

I'm slowing working on Beach City. I want it to have pretty much all the stuff I have and room to add the last two expansions and the stuff packs. Whatever I have and looks good to me while I build.

Plus, I've been lucky enough to have been gifted a lot of Store stuff- and I plan on including a lot of it in this world. I don't normally use it so more people can download the worlds, if they like them.
But, no CC.

Oh, goodness- you might notta wanted to offer, cause I'd love a house... what kind do you want to make? I don't have any of the houses on the docks done (13/29 I think- same as Lucky Palms), any size since I haven't built more then 3 houses- any average style.

I'll be thinking on that, Rflong... I'm currently committed to building for Al Medina but I wanted to make an offer for a couple builds as I am using a couple of your worlds and wanted to make a contribution if you were interested.

I usually have some downtime as I wait for new assignments from Al Medina's creator so I will check in periodically to see if I can offer something of value to you.

I am yet to build any 13/29s but I have definitely drooled all over my keyboard at the sight of a few of them so consider this post as at least a can-do kind of thing.

My favorite kind of build is the starter house and I can go as micro as the game allows, with or without mods. *Hugs* from Reach

Those night shots are just gorgeous. It takes everything in me not to jump up and down whenever I see new pictures. Ez just so exciting!

I would offer to help you out, but my buildings are way too average on a good day. On a normal day, my buildings are pretty meh! But if you need some meh buildings, just let know. I'll be happy to build you some meh houses!

@purple_roses - "Meh" houses are better than you think. Not all of us simmers are looking for 60 x 60 mansions but we strive to live in those "meh" houses that we can afford. Go for it, girl! Over the long haul, authenticity and realism win the day over fantasy. Any major museum all over the world proves this point.

Beautiful as usual, I know what you mean when you say it feels weird as you usually do the terrain sculpting 1st, then the builds. I've tried doing it bit by bit but just can't....I have to sculpt the terrain to at least 80% 1st, but I know Nilxis does his bit by bit also....

Like Sneak says, I also build my worlds this way. I do it since I started Plav Raj and to me it's more comfortable because if I have to build 100 consecutive lots I end up getting tired and bored. Everyone has their methods

Ok. I will attempt at building some meh houses that may or may not pass to be fit to be in the world. Lol.
What kind of houses are you looking? I know you said you don't have any of the houses on the dock area done. I've tried building a house on the dock area in LP before and just got so frustrated. I can take another swing at it though. Any other houses? Any particular theme you are looking for?

ETA: Well, I'm thinking about it. I already have a modernish type house built that I built for LP. I don't have any pictures of it right now, but if you're interested in putting in that type of house, I'll be happy to take some pictures and show you. I'll just have to do some re-terraining because it was built for LP after all. Lol.

Its beautiful! I am such a fan of your work! You always build such amazing things! How did you get those pier spots for houses? I tried to do that in my own world by basically laying a road down and smoothing the edges. Then placing the pier pieces from the (crap what was the desert looking store world? You know the one I mean lol) store bought world. Never really could get them to line up properly though. I tried looking it up on the forums here and on modthesims but never did find anything. You are just simply too groovy! =D

You're both right- I'm used to having the terrain all sculpted and the roads all done before building and yet it does get a little more tedious just having to build- so sculpting a little more is a good break.

I like how several world builders work on one part of their worlds at a time- sculpt/paint/build...move to next area. It's like it's growing and it's fun to see. So I thought I'd try it. Can't really do it though, maybe next one

Sure, purple_roses2110 - here's an idea for you. 30x30 lot or 20x20 whichever- don't worry about a foundation or the slopping yard- it's the house and the colors I like. There's a floor plan if you wanna try. It doesn't have to be perfect, it's only for an idea for you.

Well, the easiest is to have the land as low as you want it, place the pieces to make it like Lucky Palms- and then use the Mask (terrain tools) to paint the area you don't want to lower (inside the pieces). Then you can use the Valley tool to lower the land around it. It might take a few times to get it just right but I think I could have done it faster that way.

Oh how cute! I love how it even comes with a floor plan. That will definitely be easier on me. Sometimes I have no problem getting the outside walls and decorations up, but as soon as I get to the inside...
I wish I was advanced enough to do the slopping yard. I tried it once. They had to lock me away for awhile... :shock:

Anyways, I'll get started as soon as I can get into my game. 8)
