  • I mean the Sims is a mix of both. If it was 100% realistic, or 100% fantasy I don't know whether or not I would enjoy it. I prefer the realistic touch to the games, but I also like to toy around with some more of the weird/fantasy things to spice the game up every once in a while.

  • That last paragraph made me pretty happy. Compared to the Sims 2 and 3 they are still far behind the amount of content in the game. Yes, there are about 13 stuff packs and although cool, they aren't like the expansions and stuff packs. Sims 4 has half the amount of expansion packs compared to 2 and it's the same for the…
  • I'm happy that the stuff pack will add to the day to day life of the Sims. Will have to see about the game pack, the build objects could be really interesting, but can't say I was a huge fan of the vacation in the Outdoor Retreat pack.
  • Wasn't to crazy about the Outdoor Retreat pack, but I'm always interested in new locations. Shame it's probably only gonna be used for vacations, I guess? I'm actually more excited for the Laundry stuff :pensive:
  • Considering the build mode is one of the best things in the Sims 4 (in my opinion at least), I would love to see something like we got in the Sims 3: the Architectural Design career. Being given a budget and remodeling a house, room or completely building something up from the ground is a ton of fun. The Sims 4 allows us…
  • Rotate through the kids every day or couple days. If you wanna keep a structure there really isn't more to it.
  • My laptop can run the Sims 4 at the high setting without much problems. - i5-5200U - Intel HD Graphics 5500 - 8 GB memory - 2,2GHz Runs smooth and loading time are okay. I haven't actually made it further then the 3th generation on this one, but I'm trying to reach the tenth generation with my current playthrough so I'm…
  • Waiters seem to be jack stupid. I currently have 3 hired, in the hopes it would speed things up.. but nope. Promoted and trained all of them. And they have been working for me quite some time now. They stand around and it takes ages for them to take orders. Meanwhile I have welcomed all the tables and they just stand there…
  • Building a laptop isn't really a thing. Not like how you can build a great gaming desktop for a relatively cheap price. I googled around and there are some English sites around that lets you select the processor and the graphics card. Doesn't seem like you actually let them make a laptop specifically for you, but you just…
  • Pets can't have jobs in the Sims 4, right? Or am I missing something?
  • I don't believe that will ever happen. That might be the dumbest decision you could honestly make when it comes to the seasons. The reason I want weather is because it changes the scene a little bit every now and then. If it is always raining there, and always storming here nothing really changed. It just makes playing in…

  • I really like the Windeburg building style, but I really don't like the surroundings of your house when you play in that area. I like Willow Creek, it's simple but in my opinion it has the nicest surroundings.
  • > @PapayaPancake said: > When someone actually has a bad relationship with the pet and it runs away. :joy: LOL That is amazing :D
  • @Nindl Mahahah, one day there will be a Remus Lupin ;)
  • Is there a way to make the Sims 2 load you directly on the Sims you are playing? Because I have one playable Sim right now and he is going to university. Meaning I have to sit through 3 or 4 loadscreens each time I start the game.
  • It's been some time that I played the Sims 2, so today I started with a new guy. Edward Lupin. Currently he is going to the university with the ambition to become a natural scientist. Once he has some promotions and maybe found himself a lovely wife I hope to create a small family business. If all goes well I will keep…
  • I'm probably one of the very few people who don't care much about seasons, but I'm positive we will get seasons considering that seems to be the most wanted. Personally I wish for something like a country living/farmer pack. Gives your sims the ability to harvest certain crops, a couple animals with some gameplay features…
  • Don't own this pack, but boy am I a sucker for the type of furniture shown in the trailer for this pack!
