You once mentioned liking an elixir consignment store I made for DV that had a tower on it, so I tried to make something similar, but with a more log cabin feel. It's still a work in progress (just looking at the picture, I noticed I need to rearrange some of those pillars). The first floor has two bedrooms (meant to be kids' rooms), a bathroom, small kitchen and dining area as well as a living room. Upstairs has a master bedroom and a bathroom and the tower room is a workshop with the inventing table, sculpting workstation and an easel. The whole thing's a little more than half way furnished and decorated. Upstairs is completely done, downstairs the bedrooms are the only empty rooms, but most of the others still need a bit of CASting and touching up as well as a bit more landscaping. I'm currently building it at 8A and I think a few more trees along the back for some privacy from the next door house might be called for, among other things.
Anyway, I thought I'd check in before I go any further and get your thoughts on a few things. Primarily, is it the right sort of style? Secondly, for the kids' bedrooms, would you prefer one for children and one for teens or one for boys and one for girls? Or should I just keep it neutral? And finally, I'm a little worried about it not being very toddler-friendly for actual play. There is a crib upstairs in the master bedroom, but the toddler potty and any toys will be downstairs because there isn't room for them upstairs. I prefer to have babies crying in the night waking up parents rather than children, which is why I set it up that way.
1B: 30x40 I imagine this will be LN apartments, a 3 level redbrick building from the time the town took of, maybe a changed industrial building. In 3-4 levels a bow ground, with not much free ground. And no really public areas (beside the hall way) the apartment is relatively a starter apartment but still fits the “room for family” criteria. Defiantly have a dumpster out back.
if not I'd like to tackle it...I have an idea for an old firehouse, if that's okay?

no one have as fare as I know... but there is an olde fire house just around the corner (and it looks old) so a fire house might look odd.... though I do love redbrick (that whats I think of with old firehouse)
if you try please say if you want detail pictures of the area.

I just need a pic to let me know where the lot is so I can find it in my game ...ok so no firehouse but something with redbrick, I'll figure something out
@anettesb I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about the cabin build for you. It's almost done, just needing a bit of touching up. Unfortunately, my game seems to have somehow gotten some unwanted CC in it and until I can resolve that, I won't be uploading anything. Hopefully I can get it sorted out soon, but I wanted to let you know just in case.
Hi back in the game... still missing a few houses I see...
Howdy!! Hope you are doing ok. I'm not doing much in Sims3 right now, puter is cranky. I just changed some settings over the weekend in it and it seems to be doing better so may try to fire up Sims3 soon and see what happens. I still don't do Sims4.

Hi @anettesb . I saw your thread, are you still looking for scandinavian themed houses and stuff? I visited Norway last year and was inspired to build a small wooden church based on a few I visited there. My church/graveyard was originally created for Aurora skies on a 20x20 lot. I never uploaded it to the exchange (but I can easily do that). Here's a picture:

so it depens on your style of building... If you love to build a cheep cabin for a big family that would be awsome
or a care/bike dealership with gasstation
though if your avi is anything to go by a small farm might be your type of lot

Was it of any help to you?
Some links that helped me a lot:
Missing Store Stencils / Free Kiddy Stuff / Daily Deals / Daily Deals Spreadsheets / The Gifting Directory
I just need a pic to let me know where the lot is so I can find it in my game ...ok so no firehouse but something with redbrick, I'll figure something out
anyway I'm back at rebuilding....
how to do this:
1) look at this competition http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/858057/theme-park-contest-open/p1
2) get inspired by my wish number 17 in "gift of creations" http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/13629012/#Comment_13629012
3) when your theme is guesed post your entry in this thread AND the "gift of creation"
that way you got a chanc in the park competition, a chance to get a small gift here and a chance to get a gift in the "git of creation thread"
not to bad I would say
