Wow! I have been having the opposite problem lately. Few heirs due to no one getting a doll. I plan to post another update or two tomorrow. I am way behind.

So no one really noticed when Dante made a visit.

First he had built a snowman of the Grim Reaper.
Naomi was frustrated over her failure to find a rainbow gem. She decided to try making the potion herself. She started out by reading logic books.
Then she started with a chemistry set. She was consumed by the idea that she had to find a way to make Isaiah real.
Now that she was no longer hunting through the hills and wilderness a friend of sorts that she had seen a number of times on her travels came looking for her. It was a grown wolf. She had nicknamed him Whisper because he always appeared silently. She was surprised the first time she saw him near the house, but pleased because she had come to enjoy seeing him while she was searching. Then he started to bring her things. He remained very shy with the rest of her family so they never saw him. Naomi thought it was strange that he brought her things but she wondered if perhaps he knew she had been searching for something and wanted to help. Sadly he had not brought her a rainbow gem, although he did bring other gemstones. She tried appearing more excited about those than the times he brought her other things, hoping that he would get the hint that what she wanted was a gem stone.
Meanwhile Grace had completed her latest novel.

She took a break with painting. Jeremy and Brennan had decided to not return to boarding school so Jeremy often painted with her.
Brennan had gained skills while he was at the art school.
Naomi continued her quest for the potion, despite the wolf that seemed to want to help her. Isaiah was usually standing anxiously nearby. They both hoped that she could find the right formula.

Brennan and Jeremy settled back into public school without a problem. They continued their good study habits and worked hard at their homework.
Joshua needed a little help with his homework. Cedric was happy to take time to help his youngest son.

Unfortunately everyone was so busy that they missed Blaze's birthday.
Naomi was having very little luck finding a potion. She worked until she was exhausted but more often than not she ended up blowing herself up.
Grace and Cedric knew they were getting older but they didn't want any attention around their birthdays. So Cedric's birthday took them by surprise.

Grace had been quietly working on her newest book trying to ignore her birthday when it overtook her.
She couldn't help cheering a little bit. Naomi was too focused on a complicated potion.
Then age caught up with Grace.

They were both sorry they had missed one another's birthday's, but Cedric's first move was to go upstairs to see his wife. He gave her some flowers and told her that she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

Dante had come around to wish his daughter a happy birthday, but arrived after everyone was asleep. He was still there in the morning though, drinking coffee. Grace was happy to see her father.

Unfortunately after wishing her a happy birthday he passed out and slept on the floor.

Meanwhile Whisper the wolf had found something very exciting. Even though Naomi was at school he could not wait to show this to someone. This rock was more sparkly than any other he had seen. And the sparkles were like every color of the rainbow!
Naomi had told her mother about the wolf so Grace was only somewhat shocked when a wolf came into the house. With an air of obvious excitement he lay a rock at her feet.
Grace looked down and felt excitement charge through her. She knew a rainbow gem when she saw one! Naomi was going to be thrilled. She praised the wolf and told him he had done a wonderful job.
When the wolf moved away to eat some of the dog food Grace did a fist pump of excitement. She couldn't wait for Naomi to get home!
Cedric was having a late lunch of pancakes, and Dante was awake and drinking more coffee when Grace heard the bus pull up.

"Naomi, your wolf friend brought you something," Grace called when Naomi came through the door with her brother.
Naomi was shocked to see the wolf inside the house but she was thrilled to see the stone. She almost was afraid to ask ... it seemed like it had rainbow glitters ... but could it be? "Is ... is that what I think it is?" she asked softly. "It sure is," Grace reassured her.

Naomi looked down at the wolf with a smile. She was so grateful towards the wolf she wanted to throw her arms around him, but she wasn't sure if he would let her.
She settled for stroking his majestic head. "Thank you so much Whisper!" she said softly but fervently. "I can't tell you how much this means to me!"
Isaiah had come over and she could sense his excitement. "Finally, Isaiah! I'm going to the science center immediately." She gave him a swift, excited hug.
Then she scooped up the stone and headed out. Everything seemed to be going great now! She was even happy to see her grandfather's ghost.
She headed into the science center hoping that it was still open.

It was still open and they said they would have the potion ready soon. She stepped outside determined to wait even though it was raining.
But suddenly she was overtaken by her birthday. In the excitement she had totally forgotten that it was her birthday!
She was so excited she had a full celebration right there outside the science center.

Afterwards she went back inside and when she came out she had the potion!
Naomi rushed home and ran through the kitchen where her family was having dinner and a repairman had pieces of the dishwasher scattered all over the floor. She found Isaiah in her room and quickly gave him the potion. "Here it is Isaiah!" Isaiah was quick to take the potion and gulp it down.

Glad to see some people are still reading although there has been big gaps between my updates.
Whisper definitely did save the day! The funny thing is that her birthday came up three days before he found the gem. I had her working the chemistry table every day trying to get the potion and for some reason she didn't age up . But then after going to the science center her much delayed birthday caught up with her!
Heh, Naomi and Isaiah have been waiting for a long time so I doubt it will take them very long.

Problems with my game file. The game wasn't reading it as being there at all. So I thought I'd have to back track. I made a post explaining that. Luckily it did start reading it and I played for a while longer. Unfortunately now I have no Internet so I have to get to a wi-fi hot spot to update.

Naomi and Cedric hardly had a chance to talk before there was a sudden loud noise from the kitchen and then the screeching of the fire alarms. The door was too hot for them to go through so they went through the window. Luckily her whole family was able to escape the fire that now engulfed their home. Even the repairman who had started the fire while trying to fix the dishwasher was able to escape, although he was a little singed.
The house was a total loss. The fire department arrived but they couldn't do anything and the family watched as the house burned to the ground. After that there was a debate over what to do now. There was some talk about rebuilding but it would take a long time to rebuild and where would they live until then? So finally they decided to sell the property and with the money they earned along with the insurance settlement they would find a new house. There were no new houses currently on the market in their town so they expanded their search to the neighboring town of Riverview. Quinn was a little worried at first since she was going to be marrying Jack and she didn't want either of them to be too far from their families. Jack told her not to worry because his parents needed to move because their house was too small for all their children. Jack now had four younger brothers and sisters and his mother was expecting a new baby. Both families were able to find homes in the town of Riverview. Jack, who had only been renting, found a nice little house for he and Quinn to live in after they were married.
Before they moved Naomi had her graduation from high school. She blushed furiously when she was voted most likely to have a big family. She was very careful not to look in Isaiah's direction.
The new Baptiste house was quite spacious. Plenty of room for the family with three bedrooms in the main house. Jeremy and Brennan took one room and Joshua took another.

There was a little apartment over the garage that Naomi and Quinn moved into.
They also put a bed for Isaiah upstairs in the room that also doubled as a game room. Naomi suspected that her parents wanted them nowhere near each other. They had been pleased that she had finally been able to make her Imaginary Friend real but not so happy that they wanted their bedrooms near each other. Maybe they worried she would get started on that big family her classmates thought she would have. 't was a little embarrassing for Naomi since with all of the chaos of the fire she had not had as much time as she would have liked to get to know the human Isaiah.
While everyone was unpacking Joshua went outside to play on the new playground that was already installed when they found the house.
Naomi and Isaiah spent some time getting to know each other better while the others were occupied.

Naomi already knew she loved him. She just wasn't totally sure how Isaiah felt. But he responded to her flirting right away.
As they talked and flirted they got closer ...

Not just in distance but the relationship they'd had before seemed to blossom into so much more. Finally Isaiah got up the courage to kiss her.

Naomi was totally thrilled! After that it seemed easy for both of them to confess their love for one another.

The family settled into the new home without a problem. They had moved at the start if a new school year and Joshua was happy for that. He had started to develop an interest in art and his mother was happy to get him an easel. He wasn't very good yet but his mother insisted that he showed promise.
With all the chaos Joshua's birthday snuck up on them. So he was already dressed for trick or treating because Spooky Day was coming up. He ended up with only Isaiah and the repairwoman to celebrate with him.
He wasn't bothered by it though.
The next day Joshua, Brennan and Jeremy went out trick or treating.
There was a hot tub in the back yard at this house. Naomi and Isaiah enjoyed spending time soaking in the hot water.
When her parents weren't looking they got a little closer.

Everyone was getting ready for the big day for Quinn and Jack. They planned an outdoor wedding since it was still early in the fall. Unfortunately an unexpected drop in temperature made for an interesting wedding.

Quinn and Jack were very happy to be married.

They were able to thaw them out. After that everyone headed home. Quinn and Jack moved into their new house and Naomi was alone in the little apartment. Naomi suspected that her parents were worried about that since they seemed to keep a very sharp eye on her and Isaiah.
Joshua had become mischievous as a teenager. He liked setting pranks on the shower.
He thought he would catch his mother but she was busy writing her next book.
Instead he caught Naomi. She was not that amused.

They had been able to move the little graveyard from the last house and one night Pongo came for a visit.

One night while Naomi's dad was out and her mom was working on her latest painting they got a little time together.
Isaiah had been looking for just this opportunity to ask Naomi a very important question.
Naomi was so excited she could hardly contain herself. "Naomi you are the center of my world and I can't imagine life without you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" "Yes!!" she squealed and could hardly hold her hand still so he could put the ring on her finger.
"It's so beautiful Isaiah! You have great taste!" she said as she looked at it shining on her finger.
She threw her arms around him. "I love you so much, Isaiah."
She might have gotten a little carried away in her excitement.
But Isaiah wasn't phased. "You are everything to me, Naomi. I can't wait until you are my wife."
It didn't take Grace and Cedric long to plan a wedding for Naomi. They had learned their lesson about outdoors weddings so they used the spacious living room.
Naomi and Isaiah were so excited to be getting married.

Almost everyone was sitting and waiting but Grace was still up worrying she had forgotten something when Naomi asked her to sit down.

Instead Grace surprised her by suddenly breaking down in tears about another of her 'babies' getting married. Cedric got up to settle her into a seat so that they could get started.
Cedric went first. He choked up a little over his vows.
But his hand was steady as he slid the ring on her finger.

They shared their first kiss as husband and wife and nearly forgot that others were watching.
Cedric was the first to throw rice for them and everyone applauded.
Afterwards they went to cut the cake. Joshua was very excited for his older sister and couldn't help cheering.

It didn't take Naomi and Isaiah long after the party to disappear to the little apartment for some private time.

Even though they had only just gotten married Naomi was already dreaming about babies.
She couldn't help remembering her dreams the next morning. She wondered if Cedric was ready to be a father.
In fact Naomi had babies on her mind so much that she couldn't help feeling a little jealous when her sister Quinn called to say that she and Jack were expecting a new baby. Naomi didn't have much time to dwell on it since it was time to go to Brennan and Jeremy's graduation. They both did well although Brennan was not amused when his classmates voted him most likely to be electrocuted.
When they got home Cedric and Naomi went up to their little apartment and Naomi couldn't resist joining Cedric in the shower.

Dante still comes around every still often. As always he loves making snowmen.
He was quite comfortable checking out the new house.
Not long after graduation Brennan and Jeremy found a place to live. Brennan said good-bye to his mother and Jeremy ould hardly wait to move out to their new bachelor pad.
They have a nice little house that's not too far away.
Grace painted a portrait of Cedric. An art dealer friend agreed that it was a brilliant painting.

I really like this idea & have enjoyed reading it too. I was wondering how you get the imaginary friends that are the opposite sex of the child? MY IF's are always the same sex as their playmate.
When they are toddler I click on the doll and choose the rename option. Then I give them an opposite sex name. It gives you the option of boy or girl name. If you give an opposite sex name they will be the opposite sex when made real.

First he had built a snowman of the Grim Reaper.
Naomi was frustrated over her failure to find a rainbow gem. She decided to try making the potion herself. She started out by reading logic books.
Then she started with a chemistry set. She was consumed by the idea that she had to find a way to make Isaiah real.
Now that she was no longer hunting through the hills and wilderness a friend of sorts that she had seen a number of times on her travels came looking for her. It was a grown wolf. She had nicknamed him Whisper because he always appeared silently. She was surprised the first time she saw him near the house, but pleased because she had come to enjoy seeing him while she was searching. Then he started to bring her things. He remained very shy with the rest of her family so they never saw him. Naomi thought it was strange that he brought her things but she wondered if perhaps he knew she had been searching for something and wanted to help. Sadly he had not brought her a rainbow gem, although he did bring other gemstones. She tried appearing more excited about those than the times he brought her other things, hoping that he would get the hint that what she wanted was a gem stone.
Meanwhile Grace had completed her latest novel.

She took a break with painting. Jeremy and Brennan had decided to not return to boarding school so Jeremy often painted with her.
Brennan had gained skills while he was at the art school.
Naomi continued her quest for the potion, despite the wolf that seemed to want to help her. Isaiah was usually standing anxiously nearby. They both hoped that she could find the right formula.

Unfortunately everyone was so busy that they missed Blaze's birthday.
Naomi was having very little luck finding a potion. She worked until she was exhausted but more often than not she ended up blowing herself up.
Grace and Cedric knew they were getting older but they didn't want any attention around their birthdays. So Cedric's birthday took them by surprise.

Dante had come around to wish his daughter a happy birthday, but arrived after everyone was asleep. He was still there in the morning though, drinking coffee. Grace was happy to see her father.

Meanwhile Whisper the wolf had found something very exciting. Even though Naomi was at school he could not wait to show this to someone. This rock was more sparkly than any other he had seen. And the sparkles were like every color of the rainbow!
Naomi had told her mother about the wolf so Grace was only somewhat shocked when a wolf came into the house. With an air of obvious excitement he lay a rock at her feet.
Grace looked down and felt excitement charge through her. She knew a rainbow gem when she saw one! Naomi was going to be thrilled. She praised the wolf and told him he had done a wonderful job.
When the wolf moved away to eat some of the dog food Grace did a fist pump of excitement. She couldn't wait for Naomi to get home!
Cedric was having a late lunch of pancakes, and Dante was awake and drinking more coffee when Grace heard the bus pull up.

Naomi was shocked to see the wolf inside the house but she was thrilled to see the stone. She almost was afraid to ask ... it seemed like it had rainbow glitters ... but could it be? "Is ... is that what I think it is?" she asked softly. "It sure is," Grace reassured her.

Naomi looked down at the wolf with a smile. She was so grateful towards the wolf she wanted to throw her arms around him, but she wasn't sure if he would let her.
She settled for stroking his majestic head. "Thank you so much Whisper!" she said softly but fervently. "I can't tell you how much this means to me!"
Isaiah had come over and she could sense his excitement. "Finally, Isaiah! I'm going to the science center immediately." She gave him a swift, excited hug.
Then she scooped up the stone and headed out. Everything seemed to be going great now! She was even happy to see her grandfather's ghost.
She headed into the science center hoping that it was still open.

It was still open and they said they would have the potion ready soon. She stepped outside determined to wait even though it was raining.
But suddenly she was overtaken by her birthday. In the excitement she had totally forgotten that it was her birthday!
She was so excited she had a full celebration right there outside the science center.

Afterwards she went back inside and when she came out she had the potion!
Naomi rushed home and ran through the kitchen where her family was having dinner and a repairman had pieces of the dishwasher scattered all over the floor. She found Isaiah in her room and quickly gave him the potion. "Here it is Isaiah!" Isaiah was quick to take the potion and gulp it down.

Whisper definitely did save the day! The funny thing is that her birthday came up three days before he found the gem. I had her working the chemistry table every day trying to get the potion and for some reason she didn't age up . But then after going to the science center her much delayed birthday caught up with her!
Heh, Naomi and Isaiah have been waiting for a long time so I doubt it will take them very long.

Naomi and Cedric hardly had a chance to talk before there was a sudden loud noise from the kitchen and then the screeching of the fire alarms. The door was too hot for them to go through so they went through the window. Luckily her whole family was able to escape the fire that now engulfed their home. Even the repairman who had started the fire while trying to fix the dishwasher was able to escape, although he was a little singed.
The house was a total loss. The fire department arrived but they couldn't do anything and the family watched as the house burned to the ground. After that there was a debate over what to do now. There was some talk about rebuilding but it would take a long time to rebuild and where would they live until then? So finally they decided to sell the property and with the money they earned along with the insurance settlement they would find a new house. There were no new houses currently on the market in their town so they expanded their search to the neighboring town of Riverview. Quinn was a little worried at first since she was going to be marrying Jack and she didn't want either of them to be too far from their families. Jack told her not to worry because his parents needed to move because their house was too small for all their children. Jack now had four younger brothers and sisters and his mother was expecting a new baby. Both families were able to find homes in the town of Riverview. Jack, who had only been renting, found a nice little house for he and Quinn to live in after they were married.
Before they moved Naomi had her graduation from high school. She blushed furiously when she was voted most likely to have a big family. She was very careful not to look in Isaiah's direction.
The new Baptiste house was quite spacious. Plenty of room for the family with three bedrooms in the main house. Jeremy and Brennan took one room and Joshua took another.

There was a little apartment over the garage that Naomi and Quinn moved into.
They also put a bed for Isaiah upstairs in the room that also doubled as a game room. Naomi suspected that her parents wanted them nowhere near each other. They had been pleased that she had finally been able to make her Imaginary Friend real but not so happy that they wanted their bedrooms near each other. Maybe they worried she would get started on that big family her classmates thought she would have. 't was a little embarrassing for Naomi since with all of the chaos of the fire she had not had as much time as she would have liked to get to know the human Isaiah.
While everyone was unpacking Joshua went outside to play on the new playground that was already installed when they found the house.
Naomi and Isaiah spent some time getting to know each other better while the others were occupied.

With all the chaos Joshua's birthday snuck up on them. So he was already dressed for trick or treating because Spooky Day was coming up. He ended up with only Isaiah and the repairwoman to celebrate with him.
He wasn't bothered by it though.
The next day Joshua, Brennan and Jeremy went out trick or treating.
There was a hot tub in the back yard at this house. Naomi and Isaiah enjoyed spending time soaking in the hot water.
When her parents weren't looking they got a little closer.

Everyone was getting ready for the big day for Quinn and Jack. They planned an outdoor wedding since it was still early in the fall. Unfortunately an unexpected drop in temperature made for an interesting wedding.

Quinn and Jack were very happy to be married.

They were able to thaw them out. After that everyone headed home. Quinn and Jack moved into their new house and Naomi was alone in the little apartment. Naomi suspected that her parents were worried about that since they seemed to keep a very sharp eye on her and Isaiah.
Joshua had become mischievous as a teenager. He liked setting pranks on the shower.
He thought he would catch his mother but she was busy writing her next book.
Instead he caught Naomi. She was not that amused.

They had been able to move the little graveyard from the last house and one night Pongo came for a visit.

One night while Naomi's dad was out and her mom was working on her latest painting they got a little time together.
Isaiah had been looking for just this opportunity to ask Naomi a very important question.
Naomi was so excited she could hardly contain herself. "Naomi you are the center of my world and I can't imagine life without you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" "Yes!!" she squealed and could hardly hold her hand still so he could put the ring on her finger.
"It's so beautiful Isaiah! You have great taste!" she said as she looked at it shining on her finger.
She threw her arms around him. "I love you so much, Isaiah."
She might have gotten a little carried away in her excitement.
But Isaiah wasn't phased. "You are everything to me, Naomi. I can't wait until you are my wife."
It didn't take Grace and Cedric long to plan a wedding for Naomi. They had learned their lesson about outdoors weddings so they used the spacious living room.
Naomi and Isaiah were so excited to be getting married.

Almost everyone was sitting and waiting but Grace was still up worrying she had forgotten something when Naomi asked her to sit down.

Instead Grace surprised her by suddenly breaking down in tears about another of her 'babies' getting married. Cedric got up to settle her into a seat so that they could get started.

They met each other's gaze and saw that they both had tears glistening in eyes full of love and happiness.
They shared their first kiss as husband and wife and nearly forgot that others were watching.
Cedric was the first to throw rice for them and everyone applauded.
Afterwards they went to cut the cake. Joshua was very excited for his older sister and couldn't help cheering.

She couldn't help remembering her dreams the next morning. She wondered if Cedric was ready to be a father.
In fact Naomi had babies on her mind so much that she couldn't help feeling a little jealous when her sister Quinn called to say that she and Jack were expecting a new baby. Naomi didn't have much time to dwell on it since it was time to go to Brennan and Jeremy's graduation. They both did well although Brennan was not amused when his classmates voted him most likely to be electrocuted.
When they got home Cedric and Naomi went up to their little apartment and Naomi couldn't resist joining Cedric in the shower.

Dante still comes around every still often. As always he loves making snowmen.
He was quite comfortable checking out the new house.
Not long after graduation Brennan and Jeremy found a place to live. Brennan said good-bye to his mother and Jeremy ould hardly wait to move out to their new bachelor pad.
They have a nice little house that's not too far away.
Grace painted a portrait of Cedric. An art dealer friend agreed that it was a brilliant painting.

Finally when Cedric said he was going to hit the shower Naomi followed him. "Cedric, there is something that I need to tell you." "Sure, what is it?" he asked. "Well, I'm pregnant."
"Really?" Cedric said in excitement. "That's wonderful!"
"Can you believe it? We're having a baby."
