"I'm so sorry I couldn't be there when she was born, Grace." "That's okay, Mom. Cedric was a great support. Besides, all you could have done was sit and wait. I hope you were out having fun instead."

Grace recovered from giving birth quickly because one morning not too long after she was born she went into the bathroom to find that Cedric was showering ...
She couldn't help thinking how good he looked ... and the baby was sleeping right now ...
So she joined him.

When Heather went to bed Pongo slept beside her to keep her company.
The next day Cinnamon gave birth to a little puppy.
The puppy, Cashew, immediately decided to go check out Cedric for some reason.
He is such a little cutie with both brown and black spots from both mommy and daddy.
For Spooky Day Darlene and David threw a costume party so everyone headed out to attend the party.
They arrived in before anyone else.
Heather went as a doctor.
Grace went as a magician.

Cedric went as an astronaut. He settled Quinn into a portacrib before joining the party.
Grace chatted with her sister, Darlene, who was dressed as a hot dog.
David was a punk rocker, and Keira didn't seem to have a costume, but she suddenly went into labor in the middle of the party.
Cedric and Sawyer were both alarmed.
Keira and Sawyer headed off to the hospital along with two of the other guests who were leaving early.

After getting home from the party Heather got a call that Keira had given birth to a boy named Andre.
Dante's ghost showed up again that night after everyone was asleep. He read a book.

It was also time for Quinn to become a toddler. They threw a party with everyone coming over to see the first baby of the next generation age up.
Cedric was proud to bring his baby girl to the cake.
He helped her to blow out the candles.
Then he put her down so she could age up.

Grace couldn't help but worry when she aged up with brown hair and brown eyes.
After all, where did that come from? Both she and Cedric had blue eyes. And neither of them seemed likely to have a brown haired child. She was afraid Cedric might think she wasn't his daughter. Somehow Cedric figured out why she seemed so quiet after the party. "Sweetheart, you have nothing to worry about. I know you are faithful. I didn't come about in the normal way. Who knows what that means about what genetics I have hidden that might be passed on to our children?" Grace was relieved. "I never even thought about that, Cedric. I guess I was silly to think you would jump to conclusions."
Cashew loved playing in the snow, even if he had to jump in order to get through it since it was so deep.
Heather was happy to get a call from Keira to hear that she and Sawyer were expecting another baby. Grace had to laugh though. "Is this a competition?" she asked Cedric when they were alone.
Heather loved being a grandmother. She liked playing peek-a-boo with Quinn.

Love all the new updates, and it's a bummer that Quinn couldn't be the heir, she would've been cute. Didn't the first generation have all girls? I wonder now if Heather and Cedric will have all girls, maybe a matriarchy...

But then it was kind of peaceful to be a ghost.
Cedric and the dogs were closest and first to arrived when they realized what was happening.
The Grim Reaper arrived.

Then Grace ran up and stopped in shock at seeing her mother's ghost.

She and immediately started to sob while Cedric gasped in shock. Heather saw the loss on her youngest daughter's face and felt sorry for her pain.

But Heather was not entirely unhappy to see the Grim Reaper. She had lived a long and happy life. She'd had time with her grandchildren and she knew from what Dante had said that she would be able to check in on them and see how they were doing. And also, she still missed Dante every day and now she knew that she would see him again. As Heather looked at the Grim Reaper with welcome Cedric looked over at Grace with worry about how she would take her mother's death.
Heather shook hands with the Grim Reaper. She was ready to move on.
Then she dove off to the next life.
His job done the Grim Reaper disappeared.
Grief overwhelmed everyone.
Life of course went on and Cedric and Grace had two little girls to care for, but every so often tears would well up with they thought about Heather.

Despite their loss Christmas arrived and Cedric and Grace threw a party at their house. One confused neighbor girl came trick or treating. Grace humored her since the girl had always been a little odd.
Everyone gathered around to open gifts.
They enjoyed themselves and talked about what was going on in their lives.
Of course the subject of the recent visit from the Grim Reaper came up. Heather's death had saddened everyone.
Quinn didn't care about the gifts so much as she wanted her dinner.

Grace had to take a moment to go pick up Naomi. But the grin on Naomi's little face and the way she held out her arms cheered up Grace.
Cedric sat down to watch the gift opening.
In the flurry of the holiday and her mother's loss Grace had almost forgotten it was time for Naomi to become a toddler.
So she put her down so she could age up.

Not long after Heather's passing Dante's ghost returned. He paused to look at his wife's grave. For some reason he had not yet encountered her on the other side.
He decided to make the little graveyard look a little more cheery.
He thought about how his granddaughter Quinn would like seeing the cheerful snowman.
He's pretty good at snowmen for a ghost.

Just as Grace was about to take Naomi up to bed Dante wandered into the house.

In the dawn the graveyard did look cheerful.

Then she fed Naomi. She'd such a cutie!
With two toddlers under foot Grace decided it was time for Cashew to find a new home so she called the adoption agency. A nice man showed up and said he was sure they could find such a handsome Dalmatian a home.
That evening after work both Cedric and Grace sat down with their girls to work on talking.
Once Quinn had mastered talking Grace started with teaching her to walk.
Grace knew what it meant when she saw her daughter playing with the doll. She certainly seemed to love him.

Although Grace couldn't quite remember back that far Cedric said he had vague memories of her singing to him when she was a toddler. Grace couldn't help but wonder how things would unfold for Quinn. She wondered why her first daughter had not received a doll in the mail. To Grace her life with Cedric seemed the most natural thing in the world. She couldn't remember a time when he had not been there and to her the idea of meeting someone and getting to know them, then falling in love seemed unusual. She knew that was the way her parents had done it of course, and they had been devoted to one another. But with her and Cedric, it seemed even closer. He told her that she was the center of his life when they had first married. She had been the only one he could interact with, of course, and he spent all day waiting for her to come home from school. For her he had been the very best friend who knew her better than anyone else. The one she could share all her secrets with, knew even her flaws, and yet still loved her as she was. Grace hoped Naomi could find as much happiness, but she worried a little about what would happen to Quinn.
Grace had poured her thoughts into a novel based on her own experience with Cedric and was able to sell it to a publisher! She was so proud.
She suspected puppies might be on the way after the dogs made use of the dog house again.
Soon though it was time for Quinn to become a child.

Suspecting she was expecting another baby Grace went to visit her mother's grave. By now the snow had melted and there was no longer any sign of that fateful igloo. She was sad that her mother would never know this new grandchild.
That evening Cinnamon gave birth to a puppy.
Grace missed it because she was in the bathroom again.
But she was around to see Pongo age up to an elder.
The puppy, Prince, came in to celebrate his dad's birthday.
Sure enough a pregnancy test confirmed that Grace was expecting another baby. She and Cedric were both excited.
She spent some time teaching Naomi to talk.

Grace was making some dinner when she suddenly clutched her belly.
Quinn heard her mother's cry and ran downstairs to freak out. Cedric was a little more cool this time and got in touch with the babysitter they had on call.
They headed out to the hospital.

After a couple hours they headed out with not one, but two little boys!

Meet Jeremy and Brennan. Jeremy has the traits Good and Artistic. Brennan has the traits Virtuoso and Friendly. (I can never be totally sure which is which at this age. One has slightly darker skin, but I forget who.)
A little while after the twins were born the day arrived for a triple birthday! Naomi was reaching childhood and Grace and Cedric would be leaving young adulthood behind. They decided on a big party and invited Darlene, David, Keira and Sawyer. Interestingly enough the first guest to arrive was a unicorn.
Keira arrived just as Prince remembered it was his birthday too! (I missed a picture of him as adult somehow)
Grace brought Naomi to the cake.
Cedric cheered in the background.
Naomi blew out the candles.

She's slightly cross-eyed. But I'm sure it will pass. She developed the absent-minded trait.
Quinn cheered for her sister.
Sawyer enjoyed the party but was distracted by meeting his new nephew.

Next to the cake was Grace. David, who is an elder now, celebrated.
Quinn and Cedric celebrated too but Naomi was still recovering from her own birthday.

Grace was ready for adulthood.
She aged well. (But I like the other hairstyle better.)
Now it was Cedric's turn.
Keira made it downstairs to celebrate.

He's ready to be an adult.
He aged well too!

Later in her room Naomi was thrilled to see Isaiah come to life.
They started talking right away.
Okay, caught up! And I have discovered the key to not having every child get a doll in the mail. Create a Legacy that relies on them. No mail for the twins.
I guess unless they have more children, Naomi will be the heir. Can't wait to see!
Yeah I think I might see if I can give it one more shot. Right now Naomi is the heir apparent. One thing that may be unrelated but I will test out is that she was the only one not born at the hospital. If they have another kid it will be a home birth! That hasn't made a difference in my 50 Foals Challenge, but then I've never failed to get a doll there.
I could have sworn I commented last time. :roll: Must have gotten distracted.
Anyway, congrats on the twins! Too bad they didn't get a doll, I bet they'll be cute when they're older...
At least Naomi has a doll, so you can make her the heir if you want... If not, poor Cedric and Grace are going to raise a lot of kids.
Yeah it's funny in my 50 Foals Challenge every kid got a doll. But then since Penny is their mother and she is an IF herself. So I think they are all classified as IFs as a species now that Supernatural is out. Maybe that makes it more likely for them to get a doll. And I was playing a non challenge file for a night after installing ShowTime. The people had triplets and none of them got a doll. Go figure. I have been playing this Legacy for a while tonight before getting an error code 12 right after the twins aged up to child. What a pain. But I think it's safe to say there will be no need for an heir vote for this generation.

They had barely recovered from the last round of birthdays when it was time for some more birthdays.
They were going to have cakes for the twins, but they didn't make it there. First was Jeremy.
He got his hair from Grace, but dark eyes from ... I don't know. Those mystery recessive genes that IFs apparently have.
Next was Brennan.
He got the inexplicable brown hair and dark eyes. Good thing Cedric is so sure that Grace is faithful! In fact they both have an eternally faithful reputation.
Then Cinnamon reached elder.
She doesn't actually look any older.

Then it was time for Quinn to become a teenager.

After they had gone to bed ... exhausted by all the birthdays, they got a visitor.
When she saw her garden she was upset. Grace had been too busy with her children to keep it up.

It brought her to tears to see some of her beloved plants dead.
She went inside to see everyone, but they were asleep. She thought about one of her new grandsons that she had not yet met.
Then she saw the book Grace had written on the table so she sat down to read it.

When the sun started to come up she headed out but saw that one of her apple trees had died. Again she cried for the death of one of her plants.

Until recently the town had been all human. But recently some supernatural Sims had been moving in. Some people were more welcoming that others. Quinn had a boy in her class, named Jack, who had just moved to town. He came from what was considered a mixed family, fairy mother and witch father. Jack was a witch but his sister Claire was a fairy. She was in Naomi's class. The kids didn't know quite what to make of the new students. Quinn felt bad and decided to go out of her way to get to know Jack and become friends with him. After she had talked to him in school he invited her over to do homework. They spent more time talking however.Jack was very open about what life was like as a witch with a mother who was a fairy. Quinn had been too embarrassed to ask but he didn't mind. He told her he had grown up in Moonlight Falls where supernaturals were quite common.

Quinn spent a lot of time with Jack and they became very good friends. He was glad to have someone who was so open to his family's differences.
Heather came back to visit again one evening.
Cinnamon spotted her and went over to beg her from some food.

Heather went inside and filled one of the dog bowls for her.
Then she decided to help herself to a slice of cake. The family had quite a lot of cake in the fridge after all the recent birthdays.
Cedric arrived home from work to find his mother-in-law eating cake. He didn't know what to make of it. He didn't even know that ghosts could eat cake.
Heather disappeared not long afterwards.
One day while Naomi was at school Jeremy went to play with Isaiah who was a doll while she was away. Maybe he wishes he had his own.
Meanwhile Brennan, who is a virtuoso, was already working on his music skills.
When Naomi came home Isaiah wanted to spend time with her and Jeremy went to play in the toy box.

In another family this might be a strange sight. But Grace was not surprised at all. In fact she was glad that someone was helping to clean.

Jeremy is a cutie, even if the brown eyes are baffling.
With all the kids Cedric and Grace don't always have a lot of time for one another. But every so often Grace hops in the shower with Cedric before he heads off to work.
This time it was Dante who decided to come visit. Apparently he wanted to listen to the stereo.
He just drifted right into the house while everyone was eating dinner. He was thinking about Heather's plants. She had told him all about how they were dying.
Quinn was happy to see her grandfather. Cedric, not so much. He was wondering how long his not-so-departed in-laws would be coming around to disrupt the family.
But he didn't complain because he knew that Grace enjoyed seeing her parents. So he went to play with Brennan.

Naomi had gotten a letter from the science facility telling her they would help her to make Isaiah real if she brought them a rainbow gem. She wanted nothing more than for Isaiah to be real. She talked to her mother about it and asked how she had managed to make her father real. Grace told Naomi she had gotten a letter just like it and advised her daughter on good places to search for rainbow gems. So every chance she got Naomi was out looking for a gem. So far no luck but she had made some money for the family by sending away the gems to did find to be cut.
Before Quinn knew it prom time had come around. Quinn didn't have a date because she had not had courage to ask her crush, Simon, to go with her, and no one had asked her. She left for the dance a little nervous and determined to see if she could at least get Simon to dance with her.
Quinn's night started out pretty good.
But then things went downhill very fast.
Unfortunately her bad mood led to some very bad choices.
At home Cedric spent some time teaching Brennan to talk.

Quinn left the dance feeling miserable.
Against her better judgement she waited around hoping to see Simon again before he left. She wanted to try one more time to talk to him, hoping that maybe he hadn't really meant all the mean words he had used.
Unfortunately all that happened was that she got caught by the police for breaking curfew.
Grace was in a great mood because a pregnancy test had revealed why it was that she was getting sick. She and Cedric were happy about the idea of another baby.
But when the police brought her oldest daughter home Grace was furious.
Maybe the pregnancy hormones kicked in because she really yelled at her and grounded her as well.

Grace thought about it. Maybe it was a pregnancy hormone mood swing or more likely she felt bad that her daughter had had such a miserable experience at the prom.

Good to see you again!! I have more pictures so I'm about to post more updates. I also have posted a bunch to my 50 Foals Challenge as well.
There was no school the day after the prom which suited Quinn just fine after her humiliation. But that evening after he had gotten out of his part-time job Jack came over to visit to see how she was doing. Quinn had not answered his phone calls earlier in the day. She was too embarrassed to talk to anyone, even her best friend. But when he got there Jack told her about what a fool he thought Simon was. He told Quinn that any boy who didn't see that she was sweet and beautiful was blind. Suddenly Quinn started to see Jack in a whole new way. He was really cute, and sweet, and now she started thinking that he might be a much better choice than Simon ever was. She tried flirting with him and he was immediately responsive.
Quinn started to wonder if maybe Jack had liked her as more of a friend. He gave her an amazing massage.
Quinn was starting to realize how wonderful Jack really was. She gathered her courage after a lot more flirting and asked him if he would like to go steady. Jack, who had been crushing on Quinn since the very first day he met her, was quick to agree.
Quinn wondered how she had been so blind to not see the wonderful boy that was right in front of her. They shared their first kiss under the stars.
By the time Jack said that he had to leave so he didn't get caught out after curfew Quinn wasn't thinking about what's-his-name at all anymore. She practically floated back into the house.
After Quinn had come inside Heather floated into the room and disrupted dinner. She's still upset about her plants dying. She cries about them every time. Grace feels like telling her that she has four children to take care of with another on the way, so plants are not a priority.

With all kids keeping her busy Grace has not had much time to paint or write. So one night Cedric told her to take some time to write and he would take care of the twins. Grace's current project is a drama entitled "Dreaded Error Code 12."
Cedric was helping Brennan learn to walk while Jeremy watched.
Grace's writing was suddenly interrupted by labor pains. Cedric got a little panicky. Grace told him she was fine and since they had planned a home birth not to worry.

As he was leaving he was suddenly reminded that it was time for Naomi to become an adult.
He just had a little time to cheer before the sparkles showed up.

Cedric seemed a little shocked to see his teenage daughter age into her underwear.

Naomi was a little embarrassed and quickly changed. Cedric told her the shorts were too short and to go find new clothes. Then he decided to go back to check on Grace since she was calling for him.
He arrived to find that Brennan was upset by his mother being in labor so he comforted the boy while Grace gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

Naomi was too busy celebrating Isaiah's birthday to go change right away.
She figured her father was too busy to come back and complain right away anyhow.
Grace came out to wish Naomi a happy birthday and to show her the new baby. Quinn was helping out with Jeremy and snickered when she heard her mother tell Naomi that her shorts were too short and to go change.
The next morning a package arrived in the mail. I got all excited so I sent Grace to the mailbox.

Grace recovered from giving birth quickly because one morning not too long after she was born she went into the bathroom to find that Cedric was showering ...
She couldn't help thinking how good he looked ... and the baby was sleeping right now ...
So she joined him.

When Heather went to bed Pongo slept beside her to keep her company.
The next day Cinnamon gave birth to a little puppy.
The puppy, Cashew, immediately decided to go check out Cedric for some reason.
He is such a little cutie with both brown and black spots from both mommy and daddy.
For Spooky Day Darlene and David threw a costume party so everyone headed out to attend the party.
They arrived in before anyone else.
Heather went as a doctor.
Grace went as a magician.

Grace chatted with her sister, Darlene, who was dressed as a hot dog.
David was a punk rocker, and Keira didn't seem to have a costume, but she suddenly went into labor in the middle of the party.
Cedric and Sawyer were both alarmed.
Keira and Sawyer headed off to the hospital along with two of the other guests who were leaving early.

Dante's ghost showed up again that night after everyone was asleep. He read a book.

Winter arrived along with some snow.
It was also time for Quinn to become a toddler. They threw a party with everyone coming over to see the first baby of the next generation age up.
Cedric was proud to bring his baby girl to the cake.
He helped her to blow out the candles.
Then he put her down so she could age up.

After all, where did that come from? Both she and Cedric had blue eyes. And neither of them seemed likely to have a brown haired child. She was afraid Cedric might think she wasn't his daughter. Somehow Cedric figured out why she seemed so quiet after the party. "Sweetheart, you have nothing to worry about. I know you are faithful. I didn't come about in the normal way. Who knows what that means about what genetics I have hidden that might be passed on to our children?" Grace was relieved. "I never even thought about that, Cedric. I guess I was silly to think you would jump to conclusions."
Cashew loved playing in the snow, even if he had to jump in order to get through it since it was so deep.
Heather was happy to get a call from Keira to hear that she and Sawyer were expecting another baby. Grace had to laugh though. "Is this a competition?" she asked Cedric when they were alone.
Heather loved being a grandmother. She liked playing peek-a-boo with Quinn.

But then it was kind of peaceful to be a ghost.

Then Grace ran up and stopped in shock at seeing her mother's ghost.

She and immediately started to sob while Cedric gasped in shock. Heather saw the loss on her youngest daughter's face and felt sorry for her pain.

But Heather was not entirely unhappy to see the Grim Reaper. She had lived a long and happy life. She'd had time with her grandchildren and she knew from what Dante had said that she would be able to check in on them and see how they were doing. And also, she still missed Dante every day and now she knew that she would see him again. As Heather looked at the Grim Reaper with welcome Cedric looked over at Grace with worry about how she would take her mother's death.
Heather shook hands with the Grim Reaper. She was ready to move on.
Then she dove off to the next life.
His job done the Grim Reaper disappeared.
Grief overwhelmed everyone.
Life of course went on and Cedric and Grace had two little girls to care for, but every so often tears would well up with they thought about Heather.

Despite their loss Christmas arrived and Cedric and Grace threw a party at their house. One confused neighbor girl came trick or treating. Grace humored her since the girl had always been a little odd.
Everyone gathered around to open gifts.
They enjoyed themselves and talked about what was going on in their lives.
Of course the subject of the recent visit from the Grim Reaper came up. Heather's death had saddened everyone.
Quinn didn't care about the gifts so much as she wanted her dinner.

In the flurry of the holiday and her mother's loss Grace had almost forgotten it was time for Naomi to become a toddler.
So she put her down so she could age up.

In the dawn the graveyard did look cheerful.

With two toddlers under foot Grace decided it was time for Cashew to find a new home so she called the adoption agency. A nice man showed up and said he was sure they could find such a handsome Dalmatian a home.
That evening after work both Cedric and Grace sat down with their girls to work on talking.
Once Quinn had mastered talking Grace started with teaching her to walk.
Grace knew what it meant when she saw her daughter playing with the doll. She certainly seemed to love him.

Although Grace couldn't quite remember back that far Cedric said he had vague memories of her singing to him when she was a toddler. Grace couldn't help but wonder how things would unfold for Quinn. She wondered why her first daughter had not received a doll in the mail. To Grace her life with Cedric seemed the most natural thing in the world. She couldn't remember a time when he had not been there and to her the idea of meeting someone and getting to know them, then falling in love seemed unusual. She knew that was the way her parents had done it of course, and they had been devoted to one another. But with her and Cedric, it seemed even closer. He told her that she was the center of his life when they had first married. She had been the only one he could interact with, of course, and he spent all day waiting for her to come home from school. For her he had been the very best friend who knew her better than anyone else. The one she could share all her secrets with, knew even her flaws, and yet still loved her as she was. Grace hoped Naomi could find as much happiness, but she worried a little about what would happen to Quinn.
Grace had poured her thoughts into a novel based on her own experience with Cedric and was able to sell it to a publisher! She was so proud.
She suspected puppies might be on the way after the dogs made use of the dog house again.
Soon though it was time for Quinn to become a child.

After a couple hours they headed out with not one, but two little boys!

Meet Jeremy and Brennan. Jeremy has the traits Good and Artistic. Brennan has the traits Virtuoso and Friendly. (I can never be totally sure which is which at this age. One has slightly darker skin, but I forget who.)
A little while after the twins were born the day arrived for a triple birthday! Naomi was reaching childhood and Grace and Cedric would be leaving young adulthood behind. They decided on a big party and invited Darlene, David, Keira and Sawyer. Interestingly enough the first guest to arrive was a unicorn.
Keira arrived just as Prince remembered it was his birthday too! (I missed a picture of him as adult somehow)
Grace brought Naomi to the cake.
Cedric cheered in the background.
Naomi blew out the candles.

Then she aged up.
She's slightly cross-eyed. But I'm sure it will pass. She developed the absent-minded trait.
Quinn cheered for her sister.
Sawyer enjoyed the party but was distracted by meeting his new nephew.

Next to the cake was Grace. David, who is an elder now, celebrated.
Quinn and Cedric celebrated too but Naomi was still recovering from her own birthday.

Darlene, also an elder now, cheered for her youngest sister.
Grace was ready for adulthood.
She aged well. (But I like the other hairstyle better.)
Now it was Cedric's turn.
Keira made it downstairs to celebrate.
Cedric made a wish.
He's ready to be an adult.
He aged well too!

Later in her room Naomi was thrilled to see Isaiah come to life.
They started talking right away.
Okay, caught up! And I have discovered the key to not having every child get a doll in the mail. Create a Legacy that relies on them. No mail for the twins.

Yeah I think I might see if I can give it one more shot. Right now Naomi is the heir apparent. One thing that may be unrelated but I will test out is that she was the only one not born at the hospital. If they have another kid it will be a home birth! That hasn't made a difference in my 50 Foals Challenge, but then I've never failed to get a doll there.

At least Naomi has a doll, so you can make her the heir if you want... If not, poor Cedric and Grace are going to raise a lot of kids.
Yeah it's funny in my 50 Foals Challenge every kid got a doll. But then since Penny is their mother and she is an IF herself. So I think they are all classified as IFs as a species now that Supernatural is out. Maybe that makes it more likely for them to get a doll. And I was playing a non challenge file for a night after installing ShowTime. The people had triplets and none of them got a doll. Go figure. I have been playing this Legacy for a while tonight before getting an error code 12 right after the twins aged up to child. What a pain. But I think it's safe to say there will be no need for an heir vote for this generation.

They had barely recovered from the last round of birthdays when it was time for some more birthdays.
They were going to have cakes for the twins, but they didn't make it there. First was Jeremy.
He got his hair from Grace, but dark eyes from ... I don't know. Those mystery recessive genes that IFs apparently have.
Next was Brennan.
He got the inexplicable brown hair and dark eyes. Good thing Cedric is so sure that Grace is faithful! In fact they both have an eternally faithful reputation.
Then Cinnamon reached elder.
She doesn't actually look any older.

Then it was time for Quinn to become a teenager.
She did make it to her cake, and everyone gathered to celebrate.

She's excited to be a teenager!
Now some sparkles ...
She aged up to be quite pretty, but perhaps a new hairstyle ... She gained the trait Brooding. Almost too appropriate for a teenager.

After they had gone to bed ... exhausted by all the birthdays, they got a visitor.
When she saw her garden she was upset. Grace had been too busy with her children to keep it up.

It brought her to tears to see some of her beloved plants dead.
She went inside to see everyone, but they were asleep. She thought about one of her new grandsons that she had not yet met.
Then she saw the book Grace had written on the table so she sat down to read it.

When the sun started to come up she headed out but saw that one of her apple trees had died. Again she cried for the death of one of her plants.

Until recently the town had been all human. But recently some supernatural Sims had been moving in. Some people were more welcoming that others. Quinn had a boy in her class, named Jack, who had just moved to town. He came from what was considered a mixed family, fairy mother and witch father. Jack was a witch but his sister Claire was a fairy. She was in Naomi's class. The kids didn't know quite what to make of the new students. Quinn felt bad and decided to go out of her way to get to know Jack and become friends with him. After she had talked to him in school he invited her over to do homework. They spent more time talking however.Jack was very open about what life was like as a witch with a mother who was a fairy. Quinn had been too embarrassed to ask but he didn't mind. He told her he had grown up in Moonlight Falls where supernaturals were quite common.

Quinn spent a lot of time with Jack and they became very good friends. He was glad to have someone who was so open to his family's differences.
Heather came back to visit again one evening.
Cinnamon spotted her and went over to beg her from some food.

Heather went inside and filled one of the dog bowls for her.
Then she decided to help herself to a slice of cake. The family had quite a lot of cake in the fridge after all the recent birthdays.
Cedric arrived home from work to find his mother-in-law eating cake. He didn't know what to make of it. He didn't even know that ghosts could eat cake.
Heather disappeared not long afterwards.
One day while Naomi was at school Jeremy went to play with Isaiah who was a doll while she was away. Maybe he wishes he had his own.
Meanwhile Brennan, who is a virtuoso, was already working on his music skills.
When Naomi came home Isaiah wanted to spend time with her and Jeremy went to play in the toy box.

Jeremy is a cutie, even if the brown eyes are baffling.
With all the kids Cedric and Grace don't always have a lot of time for one another. But every so often Grace hops in the shower with Cedric before he heads off to work.

He just drifted right into the house while everyone was eating dinner. He was thinking about Heather's plants. She had told him all about how they were dying.
Quinn was happy to see her grandfather. Cedric, not so much. He was wondering how long his not-so-departed in-laws would be coming around to disrupt the family.
But he didn't complain because he knew that Grace enjoyed seeing her parents. So he went to play with Brennan.

Naomi had gotten a letter from the science facility telling her they would help her to make Isaiah real if she brought them a rainbow gem. She wanted nothing more than for Isaiah to be real. She talked to her mother about it and asked how she had managed to make her father real. Grace told Naomi she had gotten a letter just like it and advised her daughter on good places to search for rainbow gems. So every chance she got Naomi was out looking for a gem. So far no luck but she had made some money for the family by sending away the gems to did find to be cut.
Before Quinn knew it prom time had come around. Quinn didn't have a date because she had not had courage to ask her crush, Simon, to go with her, and no one had asked her. She left for the dance a little nervous and determined to see if she could at least get Simon to dance with her.
Quinn's night started out pretty good.
But then things went downhill very fast.
Unfortunately her bad mood led to some very bad choices.
At home Cedric spent some time teaching Brennan to talk.

Unfortunately Grace wasn't feeling so well ...
Quinn left the dance feeling miserable.
Against her better judgement she waited around hoping to see Simon again before he left. She wanted to try one more time to talk to him, hoping that maybe he hadn't really meant all the mean words he had used.
Unfortunately all that happened was that she got caught by the police for breaking curfew.
Grace was in a great mood because a pregnancy test had revealed why it was that she was getting sick. She and Cedric were happy about the idea of another baby.
But when the police brought her oldest daughter home Grace was furious.
Maybe the pregnancy hormones kicked in because she really yelled at her and grounded her as well.

She begged her mother for forgiveness and tried explaining about her horrible night and that it would never happen again.
She managed to look totally pathetic.
Grace thought about it. Maybe it was a pregnancy hormone mood swing or more likely she felt bad that her daughter had had such a miserable experience at the prom.

Quinn started to wonder if maybe Jack had liked her as more of a friend. He gave her an amazing massage.
Quinn was starting to realize how wonderful Jack really was. She gathered her courage after a lot more flirting and asked him if he would like to go steady. Jack, who had been crushing on Quinn since the very first day he met her, was quick to agree.
Quinn wondered how she had been so blind to not see the wonderful boy that was right in front of her. They shared their first kiss under the stars.
By the time Jack said that he had to leave so he didn't get caught out after curfew Quinn wasn't thinking about what's-his-name at all anymore. She practically floated back into the house.
After Quinn had come inside Heather floated into the room and disrupted dinner. She's still upset about her plants dying. She cries about them every time. Grace feels like telling her that she has four children to take care of with another on the way, so plants are not a priority.

With all kids keeping her busy Grace has not had much time to paint or write. So one night Cedric told her to take some time to write and he would take care of the twins. Grace's current project is a drama entitled "Dreaded Error Code 12."
Cedric was helping Brennan learn to walk while Jeremy watched.
Grace's writing was suddenly interrupted by labor pains. Cedric got a little panicky. Grace told him she was fine and since they had planned a home birth not to worry.

But Cedric was still rather stressed out. Grace told him to leave the room and take a walk until he could be calmer.
As he was leaving he was suddenly reminded that it was time for Naomi to become an adult.
He just had a little time to cheer before the sparkles showed up.

Cedric seemed a little shocked to see his teenage daughter age into her underwear.

Naomi was a little embarrassed and quickly changed. Cedric told her the shorts were too short and to go find new clothes. Then he decided to go back to check on Grace since she was calling for him.
He arrived to find that Brennan was upset by his mother being in labor so he comforted the boy while Grace gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

Naomi was too busy celebrating Isaiah's birthday to go change right away.
She figured her father was too busy to come back and complain right away anyhow.
Grace came out to wish Naomi a happy birthday and to show her the new baby. Quinn was helping out with Jeremy and snickered when she heard her mother tell Naomi that her shorts were too short and to go change.
The next morning a package arrived in the mail. I got all excited so I sent Grace to the mailbox.
