As you know I have not played today, but tonight I played another save and
I wanted to share this screen because it was so cute.
i had my single sim visiting this guy ( edited by me) who was a townie in twinbrook I watched their
expressions and what they would do next and soon they started flirting and they are so cute.
Does anyone know how to fix our broken signatures? I tried redoing mine, but it didn't help. I think I'll remove my image until the forum works out the glitch. It looks ugly.
Thanks for the link. I 'fixed' the picture I posted yesterday. Not going back over the others though. It means a lot of useful threads are now useless if this is how it is going to stay.
Nevan wants to spend §400 at the Day Spa. The baby is due later in the morning so I don't think he will have time to get the moodlet at the end of the massage but the wish is granted when the money is spent at the start so that's good enough for me. As soon as the family finished eating, I sent him to the Spa.
Jordan had a wish to spar so I had him spar with Shannon. Both are level 10 so it was great to watch!
Jordan won but I am sure that Shannon gave him a run for his money While sparring, I noticed that Shannon had the stir-crazy moodlet and realized it had been a while since he left the house. I decided both Shannon and Jordan deserved a massage as well and sent them off to the Day Spa.
Sure enough, before the massage was done, Nevan went into labor. I sent him home.
When Jordan and Shannon got home from the Day Spa, Nevan was still in labor.

@mycami21 I was hoping your pics would be showing by now but, sadly, they are not I see you use Flickr too. I have not had any problems with them except for once but that was totally user error. I hope you can sort it out because I would like a little Samuel fix

@bekkasan Thanks for the lovely comments I sometimes start to worry when my sims are sparring or playing catch with a much more skilled sim - I think it's the mother in me - then I realize that no-one will get hurt because it's only a game but I still cringe, especially when the little ones get whacked by hard balls when playing catch.

I used to like it when my sims learned foreign songs but it got old quickly when they would break out in song while showering, cooking, fishing or just standing around. Now I never allow them to learn them unless it is a throw away save.
I agree that the alarm is worse than the burglar.
When I first started, I played the game without cheats because I didn't know them. I also played modless back then. I think that, for me, that is enough. Now I want to bend the game into my comfortable shape
That food truck does look a little out of place
I've never been interested in playing a themed game although I always enjoy seeing pics of them. I imagine it would be a challenge keeping everything true to your plans. The papergirl outfit is adorable

After he prepared a cheese plate, I could see he was very tired so I sent him home for a nap. He had been conjuring earlier in the day and it must have sapped his energy. Besides, it looks like Finnian and Darla are about to head upstairs
The girls were very hungry when they got home from the Prom. Cait was voted Prom Queen. I guess that's only fair as Bridie was Prom Queen last time

Sakura like the new patterns @CravenLestat made for me. Here she is wearing one.
Before Sakura changed into her new outfit she was downstairs and saw a horse in their backyard. She then goes upstairs, changes and starts painting a picture of the horse.
Samuel wakes up and starts playing with his IF right away.
Sam was in need of a bath so I told him to go on a submarine adventure.
When he was done. Sam met the same fate as several of @Mikezumi's kids. Fortunately it didn't last long.

I thought I had gotten a picture of all 3 horses in the front yard but I was wrong. I sent Sam down after his bath to try and befriend on of the horses.
Sakura finished her painting. It was brilliant and worth $251.
When I checked back on Sam he was playing with his IF again. So I went into build mode added a very small basement and placed the IF there. I hope it stays there.
I then have him continue working on his fiction book called "Elvis was a Day Trader" (Where does EA come up with some of these names????? LOL ) He finishes the book and will get 6 royalty paments of $42 each.
Towards evening Stephen and Sakura transform and do some hunting and bug catching.

@bekkasan Thanks for the lovely comments To be truthful, my sims rarely drink nectar. I am kind of protective of the nectar because it gets more valuable over time and if my sims are drinking it, that isn't going to happen
On occasion if they roll a wish I will allow them drink the cheaper, new nectars but I get upset when I bring out a bottle worth thousands of simoleons and I get a pop up that "all nectar tastes the same to me" Stoopid plebs! They can drink from the juice bar instead

@Jude525 I am a straight old lady but have only ever enjoyed playing gay sims. There is something about female sims that annoys me. I have killed several for doing annoying little sim things that I don't find annoying when done by my males. I have no problem with female sims when they are children or teens but once they grow up they have to leave the house.
I have been playing since the game came out but have not played most of the EPs. Until last year, I only played WA and LN. Since then I have installed UL and Gens. I own most of them and plan on introducing them slowly and savouring the new content slowly. Some of them, like Seasons and Pets, will have to wait until I buy a better laptop or maybe even a gaming desktop. I have the money to buy either (or both) but am basically lazy and the thought of setting up a new computer and setting it up how I like it feels like too much hard work and time that takes me away from my sims

Don't feel bad. It sometimes takes a while for people to come to a new thread. I don't get many posters on my Cliff and Jordan thread but I post for me so I don't mind. I know I get lots of readers because of the numbers but very few posters.

@Karritz Glad the picture info was useful to you. What a pain though if the forum doesn't help to fix old picture links. I'm lucky that my photo hosting site doesn't use the "url-labeled" link that the forum is eliminating now. My only problem was the url link I'd put in my signature.
But this is an example of why I started a separate blog for my posts. I was afraid that things would be changing around this forum, particularly for Sims 3 people. A lot of the links to threads are messed up now because they moved threads to different locations awhile back. So it's not just image links that are broken now. So annoying!

I don't have a separate blog for Sims things. And at the moment I'm mostly showing my game through YouTube. Posting less pictures here now. My artwork is mostly through my artist facebook page now. So Sims 3 is hopefully being fazed out of my life as it is way too time consuming.
@Karritz Your videos will be a great tribute to your Sims game play. Whether blog or other type of online presentation, it's just nice to have a way to share your creativity and fun times with others. And I think it's awesome that you're using the Sims videos as a practice for how to showcase your other artwork too.
Started my child only challenge, I did a few days of one months ago, this one will have her at child age for 15 days. She started with an adult roommate who I then starved to death to "get rid of", the social worker of course showed up, I object deleted him and his car...problems solved!
The child I'm using is Lilah, the girl who made Kate's life hell as a child/teen, I decided I wanted to make her life a little difficult...a bit of payback....if you will.
Getting rid of the adult...
I was going to throw the poor girl into an empty lot and make her work her way up from there but since I don't do mods and am not using any cheats she can not do gardening till she is a teen so I decided to take it easier on her, she was allowed an unfurnished house with just the basics, I then bought her a sleeping bag and put her down to Zero on household funds. She is in a brand new town and I'm not going to add any of my enhanced buildings to help her out. The poor kid also has to keep up a C average in school, she skipped day one and was down to a D, so I sent her the next day.

The Bunch's showed up, it was killing me to not give Ethan my regular full fledged makeover! Though Connor and Jared will get mauled immediately, if Lilah ever runs into them.

Collecting the pretty flowers, I sold them right away, she has a good chunk of change for some new furniture.
She made a snow cone, which was good because she was pretty hungry, I had her buy some fries from the food stand she put them down and because Cornelia was in the way couldn't eat them, I tried to move them and lost them!
Caught a monarch, I let her keep him.
Her fun bar was very low so she got to play in the sprinklers for awhile.
Collecting at the beach, didn't get too much.
A very nice space rock, worth over 100 Simoleons.

Poor girl needed an allergy shot from collecting all those flowers, I splurged and let her suffering stop.
Eating yogurt for supper.....on the potty.
With everything she collected she made close to 2,000 Simoleons. Got her some nice new needed furniture.
Looks like she may be worried about money, though she is a mooch so that may have something to do with her money dreams.
Finally a table and chair, much better than eating in the bathroom!

@Charlottesmom , my favorite screenshot from your last post was of that wholesome family picnic. I've always had a hard time getting my sims to all cooperate at once for a picnic. It's adorable when they do though.

Don't feel bad. It sometimes takes a while for people to come to a new thread. I don't get many posters on my Cliff and Jordan thread but I post for me so I don't mind. I know I get lots of readers because of the numbers but very few posters.

@king_0f_simcity7 I think you picked out a good selection of Simbourne clone houses and a base camp alternative. I like the edits you did to the hotel. The Egyptians builds will be cool to use too.
@Karritz Glad the picture info was useful to you. What a pain though if the forum doesn't help to fix old picture links. I'm lucky that my photo hosting site doesn't use the "url-labeled" link that the forum is eliminating now. My only problem was the url link I'd put in my signature.
But this is an example of why I started a separate blog for my posts. I was afraid that things would be changing around this forum, particularly for Sims 3 people. A lot of the links to threads are messed up now because they moved threads to different locations awhile back. So it's not just image links that are broken now. So annoying!

I don't have a separate blog for Sims things. And at the moment I'm mostly showing my game through YouTube. Posting less pictures here now. My artwork is mostly through my artist facebook page now. So Sims 3 is hopefully being fazed out of my life as it is way too time consuming.

The child I'm using is Lilah, the girl who made Kate's life hell as a child/teen, I decided I wanted to make her life a little difficult...a bit of payback....if you will.
Getting rid of the adult...
I was going to throw the poor girl into an empty lot and make her work her way up from there but since I don't do mods and am not using any cheats she can not do gardening till she is a teen so I decided to take it easier on her, she was allowed an unfurnished house with just the basics, I then bought her a sleeping bag and put her down to Zero on household funds. She is in a brand new town and I'm not going to add any of my enhanced buildings to help her out. The poor kid also has to keep up a C average in school, she skipped day one and was down to a D, so I sent her the next day.

I sent her to the park to start making a few friends, River, Molly and Cycl0n3 were there:

I wanted to get her started on logic so she went to the library to start in reading that book:
The Bunch's showed up, it was killing me to not give Ethan my regular full fledged makeover! Though Connor and Jared will get mauled immediately, if Lilah ever runs into them.

Not even a shower....but in my experience kids like baths more anyways (mine sure did).
Awesome!! All those flowers should be a major help for Lilah.
Collecting the pretty flowers, I sold them right away, she has a good chunk of change for some new furniture.
She made a snow cone, which was good because she was pretty hungry, I had her buy some fries from the food stand she put them down and because Cornelia was in the way couldn't eat them, I tried to move them and lost them!
Caught a monarch, I let her keep him.
Her fun bar was very low so she got to play in the sprinklers for awhile.
Collecting at the beach, didn't get too much.
A very nice space rock, worth over 100 Simoleons.
Pretty Horsies!
Poor girl needed an allergy shot from collecting all those flowers, I splurged and let her suffering stop.
Eating yogurt for supper.....on the potty.
With everything she collected she made close to 2,000 Simoleons. Got her some nice new needed furniture.
Looks like she may be worried about money, though she is a mooch so that may have something to do with her money dreams.
Finally a table and chair, much better than eating in the bathroom!
Down to a D average, so off to school she goes...

Her new additions, I also got her a kids oven and couch. I also recolored the bathroom fixtures and floor..
Breaking in her oven, her muffin came out great, no charcoal!
