If you want your sims (or visiting sims) to be able to eat at the bakery you can do two things: > > 1.- Put the new fridge/vending machine somewhere in the…
The employees my sim hired for her bakery are useless. I assign work tasks for them of ringing up customers and restocking. They would rather stand around and talk to each other. They don't do what I ask them to do. Anyone else have this problem?
Yeah, I thought maybe it was because I hired…
Ok thanks, I just read another thread where someone asked the same question, so I guess I'm stuck with playing one household at a time and if I want certain Sims to go to university together, I'd have to put them all in the same household before I enroll them. Or I could just move other Sims in the empty houses on campus…
I just bought this expansion pack (I have all the others besides Ambitions) and unfortunately, I'm having the same issue with China freezing up every few seconds! EA hasn't fixed this issue after all this time? Very disappointing because China is the main country that I want to play.
I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the online dating matches too, so I evicted and deleted everyone in the town and moved in a bunch of Sims that I personally created. The result? Now every member on the online dating site is dateable!
I also found out the hard way that you should leave body type to whatever it defaults on when your Sims are creating profiles. I considered my Sim to be slim so I selected that, but the game classified her as "more to love" so she got accused of lying about her body type by several of her matches. LOL
I can't remember the exact wording, but something to the effect of "Can I for reals meet you?" I think they did a great job with the online dating because guys really do send stupid messages like that in real life! I was also amused when one of my Sims first set up her profile and sent a message to a guy, he wrote back…
When I saw the holey umbrella, I thought maybe it was an issue with my computer graphics but glad to know it's not! I was wondering why my Sims were still getting soaked even with the umbrella, but apparently it's because I was seeing actual holes in it!
One of my male Sims got abducted and impregnated out of the blue. He was minding his own business, there was no telescope or stargazing involved, and I couldn't stop it from happening. Maybe the game just decided to punish him because he was cheating on his wife at the time. LOL
I decided to delete my Sim that was having these issues and start over. This time, I put a cat in her household in hopes that the game wouldn't decide to give her more pets. But lo and behold, her cat ended up having two kittens as soon as I left her household to go play with another! Hasn't EA heard of spaying/neutering??…
I've never seen these particular Sims get the adopt a pet wish though. Also, it's not just one pet, but multiple pets (an adult with puppies/kittens). I don't have a consignment store in my game because I don't have whatever expansion pack it came with. Anyway, if it's not a bug, it should be because I don't want…
Update: Although I can delete the pets with the "moveobjects" cheat, if I leave the household and then return later, the pets magically appear again! Also, I noticed that the households where this is happening have a "neighborhood pet adoption" tag above them. What kind of ridiculous bug is this and how can I stop…
I just deleted the dogs with the moveObjects cheat. That's probably the quickest way to do it, but I'm still wondering why the pets are appearing in the first place.
I pretty much never download CC, but I recently decided to download a few Sims from the Exchange. I recall downloading a few Sims a long time ago with no problems, so I was surprised when I saw the horse body outfit while in CAS. After doing a Google search, I found multiple threads on it (including this one), so I quickly…
I think I'm having the same problem and I had been playing the game for several hours and then the freezing every few seconds randomly started all of a sudden. I have no idea why... I should also add that it only seems to be happening in one of my households at the moment- the other households aren't freezing.
Same here! I'm not ashamed to admit that I play the game, but unfortunately, when I do start playing, I can't stop! On a day off, I might play from 11am to 11pm, pausing only for food and bathroom breaks. That's pretty insane, but it takes time to create Sims, furnish houses, get Sims established in their careers, and get…
This bug is really ridiculous. The Sim was very tired, but wouldn't get into bed with the Sim that she's romantically interested in. I even bought her a single bed and placed it in another room just for her to sleep in for the night and she STILL stayed up all night reading. I had to wake my Sim up and make him ask her to…
I'm having a similar problem with the protruding spikes, except it happens to me almost immediately when I go into the game and try to Create a Sim. I've not been able to create a Sim to completion because of the spikes and then the random game crashing! Ugh!
I have an Nvidia card, and my graphics are messed up and my game is crashing after only a few minutes. Edited to add: I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS card.
