I hope the team is done with these so-called makeovers. For me these families live in their original games. TS1 (The Goths) and TS2 respectively.

That's what I do. Just go to Task Manager and End the line that says EA Background. I do this to play offline as well. End task then log in again.

I have been using the Task Manager workaround. If the EA app shows the "no connection" screen open up Task Manager. End Task the EA Background Service. Log into the app again and click on the top left corner to find the "offline" option. Your installed games should show up after that. I have been doing this automatically…

The milestones bug has dampened my limited playtime as a rotational player. When I visited the household of the infant in my avi I felt deflated to see she couldn't even sit in the high chair. Right? This seem like yet another an oversight. The sprinkler from Seasons and the water slides from Backyard Stuff have a "play together" option. The other day I had a couple having a date at the water park. There was no option to play together with the group feature from Get Together. Have only tried it once so far.

I play with aging off. Only enabling aging for current household when I'm ready to let my elder sims go. Or when I need to fill up the aging bar to set aging difference among the children. Hated it since it was announced. I hate the calls in my played households. I disabled NS for unplayed households. Occassionaly I still saw unplayed household with tons of adopted pets or with newborns.

Are there any mods to "fix" the pier functionality? I didn't find any. My search just led me to download more CC. :D Oh well. At least I have the NPC mod that allows you to choose your own HS sims. That was my biggest gripe. I haven't gottten the chance for a full play session yet.

From what I've gathered I think the pack is relying on the upcoming patch to sell. I don't like any of the added social systems the game has added so far. This new Milestone thing feels more like inviting the player to start over rather than expanding the current saves. I don't think there's a lot of new objects either.…

I agree. This feels like a paid update for Parenthood. I guess if it wasn't for whatever the new world offers and the new system this should have been a GP. For me it feels like a GP. They are just unlocking some existing interactions for children and adding some new gameplay.
