  • I never play starter sims anymore. I simply use cheats to create a household fleshed out with skills, careers, relationships, a house already furnished, clubs, etc. I find the game to be far more entertaining when I play with sims that have pre-existing conditions.
  • I say if the game allows you to do something then go crazy with it, let your mind run wild with any possibilities you can imagine. I'd say that's the best way to test the limits of this game and it's performance.
  • If the same video was made for the Sims 4 it would be about 20 seconds long.
  • This is too funny lol!
  • Growing Together and For Rent have reignited my passion for this game. These two packs have reinvented my game.
  • This! Old apartments I can understand, but why have penthouses been left out? They are literally just a lot in the sky! They can be turned into other lot types, why not multi unit lots? Fingers crossed a mod corrects this. Also question about the 99 unit limit. If I place an additional unit on a lot, would that count as…
  • I wonder if we can make the apartments in San Myshuno multi unit dwellings, so we can move more than one household into a single apartment. I don't see why not since the apartments in city living are less apartments, and more so individual lots with restrictions.
  • I believe you need to use the auto wall placement tool instead of manual, similar to how fences work.
  • I thought I reached a point with the Sims 4 where I felt like I didn't need anymore packs to further complete my game, but then this pack shows up and of course it's something that's perfect for my existing playstyle. I'm also the person who does my best to wait for a sale before buying packs, but if I'm being honest with…
  • This pack is going to make the entire game feel so much bigger and complete, this is basically the closest thing to an open world we will probably get in this game, and I am so ridiculously elated, I am tempted to pre order this pack instead of waiting for a sale like I normally do.
  • In my personal save file I already have a bunch of unofficial multi household lots, things like trailer parks, townhomes, etc. so I'm basically going to convert all those into official multi household lots and explore the pack from there.
  • I've always enjoyed exploring every life stage from birth to death, it makes the life's journey far more meaningful to me.
  • I already know this pack is going to be excellent. Multi Family Lots, the Sims are snooping and sharing secrets, new activities for children and toddlers, some kind of fungus infection??? omg not a Sims 4 pack winning me over 😭
  • My one complaint with this pack is that all the "new gameplay" is just reskinned existing gameplay, it's basically just new cooking animations plus a sales table (which we already have in multiple packs).
  • I've disabled and re-enabled packs plenty of times in the same saves. I so far haven't had anything terribly game breaking happen, the most that happens is CAS and BB will be missing.
  • I'm going to bump this thread. I think it's ridiculous that the sweet heart dance is locked behind specific conditions, it should be available to use whenever we want.
  • I didn't know skills show up in the sims info panels like that, is it a new feature?
  • How is the EA App so much of a mess that it can't even display release date information correctly? LOL!
  • My guess is in Sims 3 wallpapers and floors were all seperate options even if it's the same pattern but a different colour, while in sims 4 all the colours of a single pattern are in the swatches panel cleaning up the catalogue.
  • Can you link this video please? I'm curious to watch it 😂.
  • I feel like a lot of sims players forget that playing the game where the goal is to make your sim miserable and fail at everything instead of pursuing their ambitions is a very valid form of gameplay that can provide tons of opportunity for goals and progression. How about play a save file where the goal is to get a…
  • More animals in the Sims 4 is always nice, but by no means necessary. I purchased High School Years and Growing Together recently and I'm living my Sims 4 Generations fantasy.
  • I create clubs for coworkers, classmates, friend groups, family groups and hobby groups, but I also like to use clubs to make NPCs and custom community lots. If there's a particular community lot I want but the game doesn't have, like a bank for my business sims to roleplay in an active work environment, I create a club…
  • If you don't mind mods I know there's mods where you can purchase a variety of the community lots the game has. I'm not too familiar with them tho, just know they're out there.
  • In my save file I gave all my sims reputations, fame if it makes sense for them, pre set skills, lifestyles, character value traits, reward traits (both from the rewards store and aspiration reward traits if it makes sense), likes and dislikes, up to the max 6 CAS traits, weather preferences and clubs. I also like to…
  • Yes I thought the exact same thing, a lot of elements from Cottage Living seem like they've been pulled straight from Stardew Valley. The village and the villagers, the errands, the lore, the simple living lot challenge, and oversized crops all remind me of Stardew Valley with a Sims spin on it.
  • I recently purchased the pack on the sale, so I don't have a lot of playtime with it yet, but one thing I immediately noticed after installing this pack is that it does an excellent job of streamlining a lot of the teen gameplay and experiences. Similar to how Realm of Magic has the magic realm, a location that provides…
  • Have a back up of the save file!
  • I really enjoy City Living, it adds a little bit of everything, a new world, new careers, new community lots, a new skill, a bunch of lot traits and challenges, a ton of great and versatile gameplay objects, I love the build buy, CAS has some really unique and interesting assets, I enjoy the apartments for what they are, I…
  • You can use that web tool to help you, but if you go to the file explorer directory of where your game is installed, there you will find all the packs labelled EP01, EP02, GP01, GP02, SP01, etc. Those are the pack files, you can delete the respective files you want to uninstall the packs you want removed. You can always…
