  • I'm here for this thread because I've literally had no idea what to do with Newcrest since I've bought the game lol.
  • I play on an old Xbox One S and have never had the amount of issues PC players do, which is why I'm glad I stuck with console with this game. No lost saves, and one crash in the 4 years I've been playing. Personally I could careless about mods/CC as well, they look cool but look at all the "omg my games broken after this…
  • If I had to guess, Sims 5 is FAR far away from releasing. I bet this comes out first, and that's why they said Sims 4 still had a ton of content left. I'm honestly okay with that though lol, this game sounds like it could be fun and I'm content with the way Sims 4 is going.
  • That's actually pretty cool, I've never really visited spas but this will give me a reason to use them now.
  • I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy Roblox lol. They have some really great games on there, but I agree a lot of it is a total rip-off. I've only ever bought like, $1.50 in Robux and that was so my character wasn't the default one lol. There's tons of young kids who play that spend hundreds in the catalog, it's crazy.
  • That's really petty if they actually market it that way considering it's Sims fans that are funding their entire operation lol.
  • Agreed. Those counters have potential but the swatches are so limited.
  • It happens every iteration when a new Sims game is announced/in production. Some people don't like change and feel the need to express it. The majority of those people will change their mind when the game actually releases.
  • Ya'll will probably find this super boring, but I just play with aging off lol. If a sim dies from something out of my control, and I didn't want them too, I'll just bring them back by means within the gameplay. Also if pre-mades die that I don't really care about, I just add new ones, especially ones from previous games.…
  • Just a few out of WAY too many to count. Why was Island Paradise never fixed? Isla Paradiso is unplayable! Freezing in island Paradise make game unplayable Despite a brandnew very powerful gamer PC : Isla Paradiso unplayable : LAG! Island Paradise = FREEZING. Literal guides of mods to run and fix the game. The Sims 3…
  • Sims 3 was horribly optimized though and requires a slew of mods to even run it, and apparently entire expansion packs that don't even work, even months after release. I'd argue that's a severe lack of attention to detail and care. I get what you're saying but every single iteration of this franchise has issues. Go back on…
  • In Sims 2 on console Dina, Nina, and Don were a part of a household called the Jugen House. They lived there with another male sim named Toothless Joe who runs the household that the game called a "youth hostel." Betty and Bob Newbie are free-play characters in this game as well, but they have different appearances from PC…
  • I don't remember Sims 1 on console too much, but in Bustin' Out it was just Bella and Mortimer, they didn't have kids (this might be in a timeline on console where they're older because I think they had kids in Sims 1). Mortimer also looked older, I'd even say he resembled an elder more. They lived on a lot that was…
  • That's been my main irritation with the eyeball ring, it's not that it's completely horrible looking IMO, it's the fact it's always accompanied by a hundred other accessories. It's great for eccentric/artistic sims, but showing up on a random NPC with a ton of other jewelry, yeah I hate it lol.
  • Hopefully this will be the start of them going back through the packs and improving them. A lot of them could use some improvements. I'm actually glad they're adding lore as well, will help more when deciding builds and locations for sims, because as it stands right now a lot of them are boring.
  • Kind of how I feel about it. I could play with base game only, but now that I've already been exposed to having vampires, spellcasters, new worlds, and tons of build/buy it would be hard to go back. I was playing the base game for almost a year before I bought City Living and once you buy your first DLC it's hard not to…
  • I just read the new information, it's definitely a whole new IP, not Sims 5 from the looks of it. Looks like they might be making a spin-off simulation game as well. Says "new environments" and the photo has a galaxy type background. I agree with everyone in that Twitter thread that it's possibly a space-themed spin-off.…
  • I agree 100%. I think it would help give the sims more personality too if they do a future update to the likes and dislikes. The color category does nothing for them in my opinion, who cares if Bella Goth hates pink? I imagine that has to do with the DHD pack though. They could definitely add in favorite drinks and dishes,…
  • We need an actual unique world too, so really hoping the next occult pack is at least a GP and not a SP.
  • I liked the idea of them at first but I thought they were going to be like pools or fountains in that I can draw them instead of using terrain manipulation. I can't stand the terrain tools/manipulation in general because no matter what the lots and surrounding areas are still so flat that any manipulation makes it look…
  • I would actually love this. I remember in The Sims 2 for PS2 they had a recipe system where you actually had to pull out individual ingredients to make that specific recipe.
  • You absolutely can. When you plug in the mouse and keyboard it automatically changes over to the PC controls.
  • I get so emotional and nostalgic any time I hear that first one, that soundtrack was so memorable and it's one of the best games in the franchise in my opinion. I'd post more examples from that game but they really are all so good. I loved the Pop and Techno stations. Thanks for reminding me of these amazing songs, off to…
  • Ohh that's a great idea too! That would be especially awesome in CAS. I'd love to see all the hairs and accessories I primarily use right at the top.
  • All of the sims games on console until TS3 worked great, TS3 was just horrible. I remember the save bug too, it would just crash the game if you tried saving. All of the items in CAS would take forever to load and scroll through, and I swear at most I'd get like 15 fps lol. Just activating build mode took like 45 seconds…
  • I almost didn't choose Forgotten Hollow because of how small it is, but two main things I love about it above any other world: - Unique compared to other worlds in the sense it stays darker longer and has a creepy vibe - NO background houses! You can build whatever style you want there without being influenced by the…
  • Did they hire someone to do core upgrades? I was going to say, how many more packs can this game handle before it really starts to lag. Sounds like they really do plan on going for a while if they plan on updating the core of the game.
  • Same, I've been putting off building for a bit because of it.
  • I'm biased I'll admit. I want a carnival/theme park world bad lol. I think it would be really cool to have functional rides (even if they're small ones that won't take up a lot of resources) or even just game stalls. I want a haunted section/dark ride type area, more clowns and characters. The world could have a large…
  • And that's the thing, I don't even care about occults as much as having more unique worlds, items, and gameplay. Everything is so plain, suburbia, white picket fence perfection. Why not a world like Magic Town? Aurora Skies? Lunar Lakes? Midnight Hollow? Any of the locations from World Adventures? Base some packs around…
