I forgot to add by the way, all your pictures are so pretty! A lot of them are making me want to jump back into my game...possibly reinstall Late Night so I can play Bridgeport again..
oh. Oh. OH! I have plenty of landscape shots for this! I may have gone on a bit of a rampage with the camera function after I installed seasons. While most or all of my graphics are on medium I've tried my best t spruce them up so they look nice :) I will try and hold back but there are going to be an awful lot of pictures…
Just a quick question about XQuartz. I downloaded it no problem and opened it up, it prompted me to log out and log in again and I played my game. It was fine. However now that the game is already installed, and this will sound like a very stupid question, how to I get XQuartz to run again? When I double click the…
I'm running Mountain Lion on a Late 2009 White unibody Macbook with 4GB memory and a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB graphics card. I've got all EP's and SP's installed save for WA and Sweet Treats with several mods and some CC and my game runs perfectly fine. I will say that I've been one of the luckier mac users in that I've…
My sims haven't tried the curry yet but my rather proper witch did have a disagreement with a werewolf the other day... One of my favourite interactions.
Okay, I've been playing some more and after about 2 hours gameplay I can safely say that there aren't any issues. I did see the return of a glitch where pets momentarily glitch and look very strange and distorted, but it happened just once and even then it only lasted about a second. Personally it's not something that…
Good evening everyone, hope you're all doing well. As mentioned earlier I installed Mountain Lion today. Firstly, it's lovely. I would recommend it, but onto what we're all here for. I'm running a Late 2009 White Unibody Macbook with a 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB video card and 4GB of…
I'm having a internal dilemma. On the one hand I could install Mountain Lion and risk it with my game (Hello back ups!) But my parents have hinted at upgrading my Late 2009 Unibody Macbook for a second hand Macbook Pro by the end of the summer (finances depending). I think if it wasn't such a low price I would be fine with…
Well I don't have any screenshots but most of my sims are pretty average looking. Every now and then a stunner is born and I squeal for a bit but then I move on and get back to playing. My favourite sim of all time had a monstrous nose. Like...it was massive. I don't really know who's side of he family it had come from but…
I have both EP's installed and I think it depends on how you like to play. Initially I was really excited about Showtime, I really enjoyed exploring the three new careers, stage props, new CAS items, venues etc, but I've found that since the initial excitement wore off, I haven't played out many of the Showtime elements. I…
Bringing the thread back however, cheers Simlegend7! Those pictures are brilliant. I used to get the that glitch a lot but it only effected my elder sims. It seemed that they were losing it in their old age...
Um, just to clear up an issue, the term "spirit animal" is completely innocent. Originally it meant that you possess the characteristics and spirit of a certain animal, but nowadays people use it with people. For instance, my spirit animal would be Britta Perry from Community because we're both stupidly awkward and…
Lydia had the fertility treatment because for some reason it just wouldn't take initially. I think they tried closet to ten times before I gave in and got the fertility treatment. So triplets was a risk but I've never had triplets or twins born naturally in my game before so I figured it would be okay.
All the above advice is brilliant, personally I always carry out a bit of a clean up before playing my game. I used to have serious issues with time stopping in my game and the play lagging and I found that if you install Twallan's Overwatch mod it makes a world of difference (adding a mod? crazy but it works). FRom what I…
There was a time when Rflong7's Longview had my heart, body and soul but when Pets came out I fell head over heels in love with Appaloosa, mostly because that's the sort of world I would want to live in, you know...in reality. I have to say though, currently Lucky Palms is rocking it. The lighting is gorgeous, breathtaking…
I really like the idea of ultrasounds. I wish I could send my sims to the hospital to find out the gender without having to have a sim already in the medical career. It really helps with decorating! It would also be nice to bring back some of the little actions from TS2, such as...actually opening the door rather than…
Hm. I've found that each time I get a new EP I realise I've been missing out on things I didn't know I wanted. Like celebrities in Late Night. Whatever the Sims 4 base game is like I just hope it has seasons, or at least weather. As a simmer living in England I find the eternal summer really quite disconcerting.
I love that we're getting to see the classic sims from TS2! I think Sims 3 is supposed to be some kind of prequel almost to The Sims, which then leads onto The Sims 2. Which makes me wonder...if or more likely, when EA release The Sims 4, where in the timeline will it fall? Is it going to be set way after The Sims 2? Or…
I have a general rule that pregnant sims and the elderly shouldn't be invited to my sims parties because generally it means someone will either give birth or die. I don't get why this happens but my game is kind of crazy like that.
Well, I've been playing Paige and Emmit again. I think I should accept that family do's are not a good idea anymore. Paige is currently a 3-star celeb and she got a call to befriend another celeb, who happens to be Emmit's brother. So I figured after the mess that happened, I'd stash the hot tub away in the family…
