Your Steampunk home is looking great! @luckyheather Both styles would be very nice, but I think I like Victorian copper/brass the most. The exterior design is great! It is very nice that you are building it on the Windenberg island.
Thanks @rosemow for telling me its looking great so far and what you prefer, I am the same I was looking through Steampunk images and some were from Sims 4 and I noticed someone built Steampunk on the Deadgrass Isle Brindleton Bay that has the Lighthouse on it, I had totally forgotten that lot so I might see if it suits my build better, but shame there are not more lots there though.
It's looking very good! I suggest keep it with victorian style, and maybe mix it a bit with post apocalyptic
I suggest to check out these games, they're a nice reference for steampunk, bioshock infinite, fallout 3, fallout 4, fallout new vegas, star wars battlefront, I use them as reference for my builds
Hi @Hauk150 I do play Fallout 4 a lot thats what I play when I am not playing sims some days I swap my games I love Star Wars so I am including Batuu items. Thanks
This is how the house is looking now its lighter colours than I usually do, I fancied a change but it still has a Victorian feel to it I think and it has pool under the house and a basement and Rocket launch/building area. I have not done much inside but the 2 bedrooms are small.

@rosemow I decided to leave it where it was as I decided I didnt want to see the Lighthouse behind it, plus that Island is remote so sims have to travel there by boat and there are no neighbours to chat with.
The updated version of your WIP is looking great! @luckyheather The exterior design, windows and roofing are very nice. It is great that there is a rocket building and launch area.
It is a good idea to keep your build where you first decided to have it.
Thank you @Hauk150 and I am going for light colours inside too and thats more of a challenge for me trying to keep that style but different than what I normally do. Off now to do some more
I forgot I had a Challenge shell to do and the end date is the 10th March so I quickly started it this evening and it will be a Tiny home and a starter. It has the Nectar maker, BBQ, Picnic table, computer and a guitar.
Your ranch style tiny living starter home WIP for the challenge is very nice! @luckyheather The roofing is great! Very nice wood textured walls and great stables area.
Thank you @rosemow I was thinking Spanish style at 1st until I noticed the bump out both sides so in my mind I thought it could have a sort of barn shape. I think its looking kind of cute so far and I hope I can finish it in the morning. Thanks again.
Thanks @rosemow I am just about to go into game to finish and test it with a lovely guy @illusie made for me then to carry on with the Steampunk home as there is a lot to do still.

Hi @illusie I will get around to playing him after I finish the Steampunk that I am gradually doing because I am not sleeping enough and my Tinitus is loud and distracting.
Her is a quick couple of update Screenshots, I have been doing the interior and some exterior, there are a few objects on the grass I have not placed yet. I added another bedroom and bathroom in the basement next to a workroom that is for a Clock maker using the new jewellery bench.
The exterior design is very great! @luckyheather Very great roofing! The patterned walls and windows are very nice.
I send hugs to you as you cope with your tinnitus ❤️
Thank you @rosemow for saying the home is looking nice so far, Steampunk takes a lot of thought and searching through Debug. Thanks for the hugs the tinnitus I have had a few years and I miss having it quiet as it never is for me now thats is why I listen to music while I build to try block it out.
Yes @rosemow I am listening to Jazz at the moment, funny thing is it started because I was listening to Rock and Heavy Metal music through headphones while playing, it must have been a bit too loud now I am stuck with it and no day is quiet for me, and when tired it gets louder so its harder to fall asleep. So it was my fault I listen to music all the time I am building
I am sorry that listening to loud rock and heavy metal through headphones whilst building caused your issues @luckyheather
Often when in pain, sore or having other health problems, it seems to accentuate how we feel, when we are tired.
This Park I have started today and its in Oasis Springs for those Sims that have Horses, so they can ride around the paths and do some training and family members of different ages can have fun here and BBQ/picnic and swim in the sunshine.
I was inspired by an area on the Horse Ranch world that uses the ruin pieces and the debug stones.
