Thank you very much @rosemow I am pleased you thing it looks like the inspiration picture, I just wish the wall cover was less yellow, I did try other wall coverings but I think that realm of magic one looks the best. The house is a good size inside so I have lots to decide and the garden too, I will enjoy adding lots of plants out there. Have a nice weekend rosemow
That looks brilliant @manicpot8to I tend to not use the terrain tool ....too scared Lol so well done with how its going so far, I can imagine it will be amazing looking out of those windows
I avoid the terrain tool like the plague also. But it was a request by my best friend after she saw that underwater builds are possible. But i do all her building for her lmbo!
I started this home today as I was inspired by an image I found a while ago so today I decided to attempt to start it, as I am not the greatest at roofing I hope it does look similar to the image below mine. It will be for a Spellcaster family as its fairly large inside. The fencing may change at the front as I think there is some green fence in debug.
Thank you @manicpot8to that is what I am aiming for so I will be adding more plants on the building and inside I hope I can match the furniture to the exterior style, I like to try and do that with all my builds. I love the Realm of Magic furniture but I think it may be too posh if you get me, as I am thinking a touch fairy-like inside well I will try Lol.

Paranormal and the pastel pop kit might give you the look you're going for as well as some pieces from vamp
I went darker thanks to the colours of the windows, so as it has 3 bedrooms I thought the spellcasters in the house are a mix of Dark and Light Magic so to speak
I worked on it until 4.30pm and this is how its changed as I mostly did the interior plus greenhouse and gazebo. 2nd Picture has a piece of wall cover missing so I fixed that
The updated version of your WIP is looking lovely! @luckyheather The greenery on the wall and the plants, flowers and trees are very nice. The gazebo is great and pretty glass roof greenhouse. Very nice kids play and hopscotch area. The interior furnishing and layout are lovely! The dark colours are great and very nice basement cauldron and candles room. The upper level cauldron room is very nice also, and lovely bedrooms designs.
Thanks very much @rosemow I did not intend for the furniture to be mostly black but thats how it went but it may be useful when we get the Goth clothing Kit soon I thought it was a little bigger inside so I had to squash things in a bit but I managed to get a upright piano in but no TV as yet I think the family will be busy growing harvest and making potions among other things.
The things over the upper windows I might change as from the front they look grey and do not match the roof, shame as I like them. Thanks again for looking at my WIP update.
My last update of the Spellcasters Cottage as I worked on it all afternoon so it looks much better now outside and I did more to the inside adding crystals and potions my sim created in the past.
The latest update to you WIP looks lovely! @luckyheather The outdoors areas are very nice, and great toadstools firepit area. Very nice well corner. The furnishing is lovely and very nice flooring. The cauldron, wood working and candle making basement rooms are great!
Thank you @rosemow for taking a look at my new WIP screenshots I am so pleased you like the outdoor areas and how its looking inside. By the way the little Gazebo has a cats and dogs corner sofa with a little table with a tea set on it, I left my builder sim sitting there I changed the colour of the top window covers and hid the slight gap with plants I hope it looks natural. Thanks for your comments I appreciate them.
I have been doing a challenge #SimsieYeehawShell for a couple of days and today I worked on it all day until 5pm tomorrow I will test some more areas and check if I missed anything. Here are the screenshots showing how it started and what I landed up creating as all I needed to use was the little shell that I made into a tiny castle build with basement. The basement has 2 jail cells, a workroom with handiness bench and fizzy drinks machine and the larger room has a bar and darts for the adults.
It began on a small Lot
Then I put it where Magnolia Park was and it looked like this today
Now nearly finished, the right back tower is for the Groundskeeper and the left front gazebo is an undercover pool unless I change my mind
Your castle build WIP is looking great! @luckyheather Very great design and layout! Each area is very nice! Very nice moat and ships! The gazebo pool is very nice, and great groundskeeper tower. Very nice kids pirate ship, playground, firepit, outdoors dining and chess areas.
Thank you @rosemow I had a lot of fun creating the park, I hope sims love going there with their family.
Today I started this house using the Castle kit it was going to be a Fairy Cottage but I got carried away I do not know if it can be called a castle though, its unusual. £ bedroom 2 bathrooms
The pool might not stay. The right top room looks lighter I must have had my curser over it
Room Colours I am aiming for throughout

so pretty @luckyheather I can imagine beautiful elves like from Lord of the Rings living here. I so want to build something like this for my sim Arwen. great job with this build- very majestic!
Thank you very much @LeucosiaX for your comments as I had not thought of it like that maybe one day I will make a larger version with lots more arches and columns, I do love that green roof its a nice colour I have made a few Elves and a couple of homes but not a large one as yet.
A last update screenshot as I did the exterior after doing most of the interior today, my painkillers fuzz my brain so I stopped but all I need to do is check it over later. I an giving it an Elven 1st name thanks to what @LeucosiaX said
I put a pond where the pool was and mostly white flowers

so pretty @luckyheather that color roof I used before, because it is very beautiful. This build feels very enchanting and magical. It looks like Henford-on-bagley but feels to me a bit like Glimmerbrook. I love Glimmerbrook as well.
this was a reference inspo I had sitting on my desktop for quite sometime for Arwen's house in Glimmerbrook. While I really wanted to make it, I simply did not have the time, and her lot is too small for all this.
While I understand it's not that similar, it reminds me of it because of the colors you used. Also I thought I saw, in your build, a little space where she passes outside to get to the room through arches which reminds my of the movie.
If you are sharing that to the gallery, I may have to grab it for her. Please let me know when you are done and it's up @luckyheather
i'm working on a single-storey, modern property with a bauhaus style, built in the 30’s for a mafioso. I plan to release it as a renting house or a museum for Copperdale.
The idea was born when I was playing Mafia 2. For those of you who know the game, it's set in a sort of dark 40s/50s Chicago. I found some modern houses in the city of the game, and that really inspired me.
