I can't even read what you've written because of all of the pictures, it's making the page not load.

Just a suggestion, but could you maybe put your pics in spoilers so your text doesn't get lost? You might have more people respond to your post if they could actually get the page to load.

I second that. Pics as spoilers.

I would also recommend you write a table of contents at the beginning that lists out all of the sections, heads, and subheaders. I'm struggling to parse through the posts.

Exactly, spoilers make the post collapsible and you can expand the content as you read it.

Automobiles that function even if only buses, cabs, airplanes, trains and boats when Sims travel
**More hobbies and skill build objects most appropriate for age of lifestyle**
Occults bring all back with a skill tree and have aliens able to visit their home planet or an alien planet world we can play not like Batuu, mermaids able to live underwater and they and other sims can go there like in TS3
**Lifestages: newborn up to 6months old, infant up to yr old, toddler up to 1 - 3 yrs old, pre school up to 3 - 5 yrs old, child 5 - 9 yrs old, pre teen up to 10 - 12 yrs old. teen up to 13 - 19, YA 20 - 29 yrs old, Adult 30 - 44, mid life 45 - 64, Elder 65+**
**More commercial lots bring back hotels and multi use lots, shopping malls and plazas, and various residential builds like the previous apartments or multi housing builds like duplex, townhouses**
**More community lots amusement parks, fairs and more stuff to do in them**
**Schools for all ages not just the high school and university**
More careers for full time and part time, odd jobs a temp agency
**No more rabbit holes where you can't travel with your sim**
**No mobile unless a small version of the full game**
**No micro transactions like with most mobile games**
**No multi user unless able to choose who plays in your worlds save files etc
**Gallery but able to have the option to search world, occult sims, sex, life stage when
Either new skill, hobby, school subject, career or odd job with every EP, GP and SP that fits in that pack's theme
Have all packs work with older packs
Don't forget about the older packs maybe a Sims delivery with updates or couple days after the new pack release
**Invite members of the community to test packs, like you are doing in this alpha test period after releasing to public**
**Scenarios with an option to create our own**

Is there a particular life stage you like to play without aging?

I don't think I really know what I think will be perfect for Sims 5. I'd like to have a game similar to The Sims 2 with updated graphics. That said, I have The Sims 2 and can just go play it if I have a desire to do so... When I go play Sims 2, I miss being able to multitask (the eating/drinking while on the toilet thing cracks me up) and I miss being able to drag and drop, push and pull, pick up and put down objects or entire buildings in Sims 4.

I also love the pure, hectic mess that can either reward you or burn your sims lives to the ground, that is Sims 1. ...The first time I accidentally killed a pregnant sim in that game because I didn't realize she needed to eat two to three times more often was both amazing and horrible at the same time. I loved the kitschy feel of the game and the design and it felt so light heartedly dark that I was hooked from the first moment.

...And 3! It was such an adventure to just run around that big open world exploring, tomb raiding, ghost hunting and living my sim-life...

TLdR: I guess I'd like to see a game that takes all the great parts from sims 1-4 and combines them into one great game.
Loving yourself is the most simple and complicated thing you can do for you.

    redrogue60,
A most impressive and comprehensive set of postings! Clearly a labor of love with great attention to detail and thorough research. If we got but a tenth of it, we would have the sims game of all sims games. A detail point, I live in maple country so know that gathering maple sap happens in the transition between late winter to early spring, not autumn. The photo captures it well.

Oh bummer I looked it up and the information I got was in late Fall/Early winter. I'll try and get that fixed

My perfect Sims 5 would be:

Customizable Western Zodiac: You could have party animal Capricorns, strict and serious Tauruses, etc.

Multi-purposes community lots(from Sims 1). Say "goodbye" to annoying and pointless checklists-you can do things like put an animal clinic/game arcade/spa/library on one lot!

    Create-a-World(from Sims 2).

No more endless townie spawning. You get to have towns filled with just the Sims YOU create!

Sims would be more like the Sims from Sims 1: Staying put at home when you leave them. No more having to put up with wandering Sims that you have to go to the next world just to bring the Sims back home where they belong. When you leave your Sim at home, they'll be standing there the next time you play them. Sims will no longer have needs drop, for time freezes when you stop playing them.

No more pointless decor buildings or annoying Sims 3-type rabbit holes. You get to create your own buildings without having to conform to a certain style

Cats/Dogs/Rabbits/Birds/Reptiles/Ferrets/Fish will be available in base game. You can customize them with a color wheel.

Goats/horses/chickens/other farm animals with a rustic American farm world-you can customize farm animals with a color wheel.

    Toddlers/ghosts/graveyards/pools/basements in the base game.

These musical instruments are in the base game: violin, banjo, different kinds of electric guitars, accordion, drums, saxophones, trumpets and pianos.

Sims 5 would be a mix of Sims 1-2 with a little bit of Sims 3-4 mixed in.

Sims would resemble the SFM style(the style you can see in FNAF/Team Fortress videos on Youtube).

    Say "good-bye" to the boring fashion/cosmetics collabs-Sims 5 would do collabs with different things(like FNAF, PetsSMart,Toys-R-Us,7-11,John Deere,etc).

The Magic pack would be more like Sims 1 "Makin' Magic".

Home-schooling will be an option in kids' education.

A Sims 1-like vacation world(where you go camping, to the beach or to a winter activity resort).

A pack that's like Sims 3 "World Adventures"-you can go to 4 different worlds: Japan, Australia, England and Africa.

Say "Good-bye" to politically correct events-there will be "Christmas", " Santa Claus", "Easter","Day of the Dead", "Hanukkah", "Kwaanza" and other world holidays in Sims 5.

Werewolves/vampires/fairies/other occults will be in the base game.

Sick Sims will go to a doctor or the hospital if they're sick.

Sims 5 Create-a-Sim will have a background similar to Sims 2. Create-an-animal(pet/farm animal) will have a background similiar to Sims 3 pets.

You can fully customize apartments/festivals/holidays/clubs. No more boring apartment shells or boring repetitive festivals in Sims 5! You can have geek cons held in fall in different towns...you can build 7-story apartments and have every floor be occupied. You can even be a landord/landlady or run a festival booth if you want to!

You can create hotels/motels/inns and put them where you want to. If you want, you can be the manager of a hotel or motel,or you can be the innkeeper.

You can now follow your Sims to their jobs-you get to experience what it's like to work as a teacher, banker, dentist, etc.

    EPS:

Theme parks/amusement parks/county fairs. You can customize and place these parks/fairs anywhere in the world.

Hollywood type EP: You can be an actor/actress,fashion model, animator, music star, or comedian.

@Lady_Ballora Your list is almost identical to mine! Except for the way sims look. I personally do not want the sims to be even more cartoonish than they already are. I am hoping for something a little more realistic and less fisher price, with non-clay hair, actual eyelashes, and no more painted on clothing.

Something similar to this .... you can tell it's not a RL person and it resembles TS4 (if you use CC and default skin) but there's much more detailing in the clothing, skin highlights, etc.

    5jDgBUe.png

But, I'm expecting an even more dummied down version of TS4 that's entire vision is 50% "socialization" (AKA Multiplayer/Collabs) and 40% focusing on Building aspects and CAS, leaving the remaining 10% for gameplay.

So, I'm just not thinking about it or getting my hopes up. If it's just TS4.2, I'll stick to the original TS4 since I already own everything.

We appear to be on the same wavelength, nice to know am not alone. Their announced priorities scare me. Game play, and what enables that to happen are what make a game a game. The rest is useless twaddle. Like your idea of sim appearance quality, a nice balance between real and how they are now.
