That doesn't suggest anything for me, Frost is only saying that they will have sims4 news during the livestream. Not that they will not talk about anything else.

Thank you simmerorigin! Like simmerorigin was saying, there will be additional content and support for The Sims 4, so please, I want y'all to help me out to get a chance to get my second favorite music back which is like the same treatment as hip hop coming back to The Sims 4 from 2018-2019
There is still a lot of content I would like to see for the sims 4.
First I want to see babies updated…. And lots of stuff for them including outfits.
I’d like several things for children, first they should ba able to play things like tsg, hide so seek, and good snd robbers together. Then they also need to be able to use doll of the games and should have bikes and skateboards. Toddlers need ride on’s and push toys. And when they have updated babies they should be able to play with rattles and a baby gymlaying on a blanket.
Seniors could use some bingo, and shuffleboard and there should be a new lot trait for elder hangout. It would be nice if elders could use canes and walkers.
We should see some new hobbies like pottery and glass blowing they talked about. Perhaps an invention machine to make children and toddler toys,. It would be nice to see a juicer/smoothie maker and hot plate for the kitchen. An exercise bike and a large mat for aerobics for group aerobics, and a volleyball game for up to 8.
All the Above would be nice for a generations pack/ basegame.
I want a pack with hotels and casino’s we can make.
I would also like to see a pack with useable cars with mechanic career and hobby with a gas station mini mart and car wash.
I’d like an amusement/water sports park pack with carnival booths, rides, food stands with things like snow cones, candy/carmel apples cotton candy and soda drinks in a cup, along with burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs and fries.
I’d like a medieval pack with horses, archery, sword fights, etc.
I want some more animals added here and there in packs ( one tile animals like our Insects and frogs, but that can be fed and played with).
I think that Simgurus should tell us that there will be not TS5 or any other game announcement if it's true to avoid unnecessary s***storm in the future.

Well, if the announcement is supposed to be a surprise they're not going to acknowledge it duh. The thing is that they had ruled it out in the past when asked, but they aren't doing it now so 🤔

Do we know we are getting these things? No, we don't. Can we hope, yes, but like I said, until they show me something spectacular, I am not interested in starting all over again. I have done it 3 times now, each time with a little less quality than the last time. I started with Sims 2 and I happen to love it best of all three I own. I like Sims 3 and Sims 4 and both play well, so I have 3 games I can play that are mostly complete. Unless 5 blows me away, I am not interested.

I'm still manifesting for something musical and R&B this year! I want to see if stuff packs can be revealed before The Sims Summit next month, cause 2022 will never end soon until they need to add what's on my wishlist, and if R&B station can't make it as soon as this is the last straw during the early 2020s, all hell is gonna break loose! They can still announce The Sims 5. The announcement of The Sims 5 won't mean that The Sims 4 will immediately stop. I am sure that they will still release -at least- a few packs for The Sims 4.

I completely agree, when Grant moved onto doing something else at Maxis a few years ago that’s when I thought something was shifting and something new was being worked on. I don’t expect a release until 2024 (earliest), but an announcement/teaser doesn’t seem that unrealistic in all honesty.

The only thing that will be different is that it will be built on the appropriate engine... maybe. Guess it depends on where they can cut corners there too.
There won’t be. I don’t believe they will make the announcement until their gaming event this summer. Summer of 2023 will be when they announce the sims 5. September 2025 is when it will release. Although they will claim early 2025 probably or even late 2024 but they won’t release it tell fall of 2025. There will a delay from when they announce the release date.
The sims 4 will hit its ten year mark. I believe they will act like they didn’t plan it that way. But I believe they are. They will delay the sims 5 when they do announce its release date, to make sims 5 come out in 2025. It also sets the sims 5 to be expected to run for another ten years before worrying about another sequel. I believe they have it planned out this way.

Brazil had an early access to TS Mobile, 10 months for testing.
