Went on a insomnia-fueled spending spree before the new school year starts and got a bundle of eco lifestyle, dream home decorator and nifty knitting. None of these packs were my first choice, but they all have some stuff that I kind of want, so here we go I guess.
It's always helpful/interesting when you give an update that covers most of your sims. I look forward to more on Ember, Juniper, and Jade whenever you get back them in your rotation.
Is your store suffering from the bug where Cottage Living harvestables are selling for far less than what they're worth?
I haven't noticed the bug. Retail Stores might have a different system then the system that comes with Cottage Living. Retail stores use a system similar to the one where you sell items at a sales table, but at a larger scale.
I use Kemps Zalrian to run most retail stores, and I highly recommend using a played household to manage retail stores because they can restock items faster than the NPCs. I usually restock a retail store while my active household is sleeping. For merfolk, time does not speed up if they sleep in water, so this has been an effective way to manage in game time.
Anyways, here's how you set prices for Retail Stores. To my knowledge, the mark up is based on the value of the item, and I switched rotations before I encountered a problem. To be fair, you can pack so many harvestables into a Lice Freezer that I don't think I would have noticed. Also, retail stores can sell more than harvestables. You can sell furniture, clothes, decorations, and seed packets. Even if the harvestables themselves were bugged, there would be ways to overcome it with everything else that can be sold in a store.
Here's the option for setting the markup through out the entire store. You do have to mark everything you want to sell before it becomes sellable. Certain items can't be sold in a retail store. So far, fish tanks, hamsters, hamster cages, counters, and rugs can't be marked "For Sale."
I use the option to show "For Sale" tag to see what I'm selling and what I haven't marked yet.
These are the options for selling items. 25% is the standard markup.
I suspect that the retail stores use the built in system, and I think it might be unaffected by systems built into Cottage Living. Each system comes from separate packs.
Alen's home almost seems haunted, but his dedication to the cats is sweet. I hope he's able to get Brindleton Bay cleaned up. It looks so unfortunate when it's an industrial location. I haven't read the rules for his challenge yet, but I will.
I broke a few of my rules to ensure the cats were well taken care of, as you will soon see. Alen does not have anywhere near the same luxuries as the cat though, and I did not cheat funds to provide for the cats. I have a soft spot for animals in real life, and the cats are based off of my pets. Playing the household has made me take breaks to play with the real-life versions of my cats. Orion and Ezie May are the only ones that I can't hold or play with. They past away from old age. My pets are spoiled rotten like they are in my game. I used walls from the City Living pack to give it its look. For the Heirs, I'm trying to focus on content from specific packs. Alen will be focusing on Cats and Dogs content, but for the look I was going for, I deviated a bit.
I love Elmire's bedroom! She also seems to be a handful!
Oh, one more thing, Asher putting himself in time out because Elmire is a genius makes me chuckle. Lol, I didn't expect that from him.
Haha. Thank you. She takes after her father a little bit (in terms of her attitude). If Asher wasn't accommodating, I think they could have had quite the explosive relationship because he's been bothering her with educational stuff since before she was born and independent toddlers don't like that.
Technically, she'd probably learn quicker if she let him direct her as much as he wants, but the drama that causes is not worth it.
I suspect that Asher could be helpful if she let him help. Also, I bet Asher would struggle to let his children go even if he wanted them to be able to support themselves.
@Metior_Ice
They really do honestly, and it's just so enchanting to see them over the water. I have this strong urge all the time to toss fireflies legitimately everywhere lol I love fireflies.
The water effects can be used in pools and the ocean in Sulani. I didn't know if you knew, but you can have fireflies light up the shores or use other water effects with your beaches!
@Metior_Ice The bug affects Cottage Living harvestables sold in retail stores. The markup doesn't work at all for them in some cases and they're selling for a tiny fraction of what they're worth (fruits worth hundreds selling for less than 10 simoleons). I'm glad that you don't seem to have it.

I guess I switched households before the bug started. I won't have issues until I return to Jack's Household. That might be a while. I do know that the harvestables are super convenient to sell, but they were selling for a low price while I tested the store. I didn't pay close enough attention to it to notice anything. My test of the store was short though.
I've warmed up to this song, and I think it fits Alen Finley.
The Green Tail Elder Heir: Opening Whiskerman's Pawspital
Things were bad in Brindleton Bay, and Alen wanted to do something about it. First, he adopted the seven abandoned black cats living in the abandoned house above the crypt he woke up in. He named them: Hazel Basil, Apollo Ramses, Fruity Fruitella, Ezie May, Orion Stargazer, Phoebe Stargazer, and Artemis Stargazer. Orion was sick, and he decided to start fixing things in Brindleton Bay by opening a new Pawspital and treating his own cats.
Orion started getting scared so Alen calmed him before proceeding with the exam.
Alen: "It's okay. I just need to check a few more things before I can confirm the diagnosis."
Alen confirmed his suspicions and diagnosed Orion with a case of Swamp Mouth, a condition he likely got from drinking polluted water. For some reason, the entire world fell under the shadow of smog and pollution.
Before opening the Whiskerman's Pawspital to the public, Alen went to work revising his veterinarian skills. He needed to make sure he didn't forget those skills while he was comatose.
After tasting a Pet Serum, he realized that he forgot a lot while he slept.
But little by little, he regained some of his skills.
Most of Brindleton Bay was abandoned, and his Pawspital was a ruin left behind. He had some old generators and water vapor machines that would power and supply water to the Pawspital at a cost to the environment. Alen didn't have the skills to change this, but he planned on developing them later. For now, he needed to get the Pawspital up and running. The pets were the heart and soul of this world, and they were suffering.
People were using Brindleton Bay as a dumping ground for their broken appliances, and Alen watched a celebrity, Dirk Dreamer, dump an old fridge in the fenced in space for dogs. Alen was frustrated, but he could use the fridge and repaired it.
Alen's first patient was Doc, a Cat that belonged to one of Whiskerman's last residents.
Alen could see tiny insects jumping out of his coat, and diagnosed his condition. Doc had a Three-Ring Flea Circus in his fur.
The young merman didn't hesitate to spray the acrobats in the circus with anti-pesticide spray. Doc was cured of his condition.
After treating Doc, a swarm of bees descended on Alen. They didn't like that he sprayed the anti-pesticide. It seemed that pests also invaded Brindleton Bay alongside the pollution.
Alen's next patient was Bartholomew A. He felt frigid to the touch.
Alen's thoughts: "What's happening to the pets here?"
Bartholomew was difficult to treat, mostly because Alen had a bunch of bee stings.
Alen scratched Bartholomew's chin while he took his temperature. As he thought, his temperature was below freezing.
Alen noticed that Batholomew was getting stressed and gently calmed him down. Bartholomew's fur was so cold it was painful to touch, but Alen made sure his patient was calm before continuing.
Alen diagnosed Bartholomew with Winterfest Fever. He wondered how long the kitty was suffering and why he wasn't treated sooner. Alen gave him a special treat and Bartholomew warmed up to a healthy temperature.
Alen gave Barholomew the friendliest of introductions before saying goodbye. He and his owner were glad that his temperature returned to normal and he was no longer frozen in ice.
Alen had a return owner with a new patient, Jossie wasn't feeling well. Two cats in the same area. Alen could tell things weren't good in Whiskerman's Wharf.
Alen checked Jossie's hearing. Jossie was skeptical about the exam tactic. However, Alen was able to confirm that Jossie was pooping rainbow poop.
Jossie: "What do hope to achieve with a dog's squeaky toy?"
Jossie: "Doc, I'm really confused by what you are doing. I feel fine."
Alen checked her heart and confirmed that her heartbeat was rapid and her breath smelled sweet. The diagnosis was clear.
Alen was easily able to cure Jossie.
Alen's next patient was a dog named Gus. The owner was really worried about him.
Gus was stressed from the beginning, and Alen was careful to ensure that he was calm.
Gus didn't look unwell, so his condition was difficult to diagnose. Alen started with some basic examinations and checked his fur and his breath.
After identifying that his nose was clean and his skin was healthy, Alen had an idea.
He checked Gus's temperature and had a breakthrough.
Gus had a case of Mild Cuteness Gland Blockage!
Alen: "You'll be just fine."
Alen cured Gus and gave him a preventative shot.
The next patient came from the World of Sulani. Rocky Zalrian wasn't feeling like himself.
Calum was really worried about him, but Alen was gaining experience with every patient.
Rocky was stressed and he was drooling like Orion did. Alen started to suspect that something might've been wrong with the sea.
As Alen suspected, It was a case of Swamp Mouth.
After he closed the Pawspital, Alen brought his cats with him to the office. He hoped to teach them some good behaviors, but her majesty, Princess Fruitella did not approve of being told what to do. She was aloof and spoiled. She was above any owner.
Alen gave up on trying to train Fruity, and he went to work treating more patients. The next patient was unusually cold. From experience, Alen knew where to start his exam.
Alen inspected the pupper's fur and took his temperature.
The condition was Icebox Fever, and it was almost as bad as Winterfest Fever.
Alen calmed the pupper down and administered a shot that cured him.
The owner was a proper sim and bowed to Alen before saying farewell. Alen bowed in return.
At this point, multiple owners and patients were looking for help, and Alen needed to higher extra help.
The added stress resulted in a suspicious derp that didn't go unnoticed by one of the owners.
But, like with the other patients, Alen quickly figured out what was wrong.
It was Common Lava Nose.
After treating so many patients, Alen returned home and passed out while trying to play with his own cats.
Alen never left them alone for the entire day, but he often barely had enough time at home with them. Fortunately, he raised enough money to renovate some of the house. He already improved the lighting.
Alen went into the crypt and called a rainstorm to flood the miserable basement. He removed the overgrowth around the house and used the funds to further improve the conditions for his cats.
The outside air made Alen nauseous, and slipping on Acid Mud wasn't pleasant.
But Alen didn't mind any of it. His cats finally had a proper home.
Alen woke up early the next day and began recycling what he could. He needed materials for eco parts that would help clean up the air.
While he coughed on the smog, he took comfort from the fact that his cats were safe in their living room.
Like most of the properties in the world, Alen had to add to the pollution to sustain power and water to his home. He diligently accepted the cost for now. There was a heat wave, and he needed to keep the AC running so the cats would be comfortable.
Alen told Apollo stories about sea monsters and pampered Fruity on the sofa.
Alen brushed Orion and got giddy while watching Fruity eat sloppily.
When Alen went to sleep, Apollo also decided to sleep on the biggest bed in the house.
Akira invited Madison for a wintertime hot tub date.
They both felt it was perfect. That they were perfect together. Akira asked if they could be perfect together forever.
And Akira is officially my first sim to give one of these as an engagement gift
"Hey, I guess you got my hints about wanting a real diamond!" Madison exclaimed happily.
SLIGHTLY LATER
Akira had thought about how to introduce Madison to Darling, but Darling had been out at work when they arrived home, and one thing led to another, and then Akira fell asleep...
Darling: Who the are you and what the are you doing in MY bathroom?
Madison apologized. For some reason she was having to use the bathroom an awful lot lately, and in her urgency she forgot whose bathroom was whose for a moment.
Darling: A person's bathroom is extremely important and personal! This is the only shower in the world that I know for certain has only ever been used for bathing purposes! Get out of my bathroom! And stay out!
Madison didn't want a traditional wedding. It would be too sad to have such a family occasion when she had no family on her side. So they were married at the Festival of Light.
Only the Lópezes were there as witnesses. They enjoyed the bonfire for a little bit
and had an intimate after-party back at home. Akira is already jealous.
"Hey, chill out, my dude," said Sierra. "This is a purely friendly conversation."
But Akira would not chill out.
"Family meeting in the bedroom," Madison announced abruptly.
"Honey, do you really think I'd cheat on you with Sierra or Armando?"
"No, I don't really think you would cheat. I just can't help those feelings sometimes. It's like my mind starts racing and I can't interrupt it to let the voice of reason in."
"Let's think of a way to interrupt all that. How about a code word, that I can say, to remind you to stop and look at what's actually happening in the room. And no one else needs to know what it's about. Hmm.. when you get jealous you wave your arms around. You look like an angry windmill. So our code word shall be, Windmill."
"Okay. Windmill it is. I truly do trust you, my love."
"You know you can."
"Now let's get back to our friends."
The next morning... some big news.
Madison: I have big news!
Darling: I hope this means we're moving.
Akira: I'm so glad you're coming too. You're like part of the family at this point.
Darling: I want my own bathroom. How soon are we leaving?
Akira: Let me just check the mail. I don't want to miss that package from the Geo Council.
And so they packed up. Akira took a long look at the empty living room and felt he was closing an important chapter in his life, to open an important new chapter.
They moved into 930 Medina Studios.
Madison put lots of energy into getting ready for the baby.
They still have a few things to get done before baby arrives.
Akira is getting ready for baby in his own way.
Madison is super into seasonal decorating, it turns out.
Darling: What is that thing.
Madison: Snowman light! Isn't it amazing?
Darling: Uh.
Madison: This is fun. I hope we can get over our awkward first meeting. I'm sorry I used your bathroom.
Darling: Don't ever do it again. But yeah, this is fun. Here's to, uh, family.
Madison: To family.
Darling: How long is the snowman light going to stay there?
Madison: Until spring. Then it will be time for spring decorating!
Some more shots of their new apartment.
Akira and Madison's bedroom
Darling's bedroom
(I split the bathroom into two, and one of them opens only into Darling's room.)
Collectible room is the hallway outside the bathrooms

Akira: Darling, do you know anything about this baseball bat here?
Darling: It's... for work. You know. You never can be too careful.
Akira: Remind me to warn all my friends as to how they announce themselves at the door.
Gotta keep on your toes when there's a chief of mischief in the house.
Where is Madison?
Madison is in the bathroom.
The bathroom feels very, very, very far away sometimes... hey, it's a big apartment!
In the new neighborhood, Darling walked by an easel in the neighborhood and noticed a painting on it. She found it inspiring. Perhaps she would take up art.
She took it
And she put it up.
Shashoobie! Happy new year! And Akira is a grown adult now! He received the Night Owl reward trait.
It is just a side story in my challenge, but yesterday I checked what Toni Kaufmann did during he was unplayed after I moved him out.
Mccc went wild, he made 4 babies with 3 different and already married women, woman number 4 was in the third trimester, when I stepped in. Storywise, to explain the four children, I can say he is young and need the money. However woman number 4 was an young adult and single, and a far offspring of one of the vatores. He is going to marry her soon. They have a full relationship and love bar and I believe he is the father of the twins who are coming soon. But I will know it when they are born and he has to finish the military service first.
It's getting late so I'm just going to post this next update and respond to comments later.
Played with the Mullers again. Willow and Sage played chess together. I think I do want Sage to go to university but I haven't decided what he'll major in. I figured it would probably be good for him to have the logic skill since a lot of different majors use it.
Knox took the family dog, Cupcake, for a jog.
Elias hatched a chick. It ended up being a rooster and since they already have 2 roosters I might just sell it.
Willow had to take a photo outside of Henford on Bagley for Rahul, so she went to the park in Brindleton Bay to take it. She invited Rahul to come to the park so she could give the photo to him but it wouldn't work. She traveled somewhere else and back to the park and he left immediately after she gave him the photo. I think maybe the game won't let him leave Henford on Bagley since he's a special NPC? I might be wrong but that could explain it.
Willow made a cross stitch to give to the mayor when she got home.
The next day, it was a Friday, so Sage took Cassandra on a picnic date
After they were done eating, they sat on this bench away from the park since there were a lot of sims there
I think they're so cute together
Sage was also finally able to ask Cassandra to be his girlfriend. She said yes
I'm playing Villareal household. This family is having 4 kids
This is the screen capture when the kids are coming home from school
However, I think this pic is looking like school advertisements...
@mia_noelle97 Your screenshot of Summer pouting during Travis and Danielle's wedding ceremony made my daughter giggle. You captured that moment perfectly. Travis is a good guy, isn't he? My male Sims almost always become good friends with him.
And, while I'm here, congrats on making this week's Friday Highlights! That's how my daughter and I found your post.
As a newbie in the hobby i wrote books for kids entertainment and dug for rocks in my garden to see what is there underneath, met with a neighbor she's same age with me, we talked a lot about music and went for fishing together. i placed the big fishes on my wall and put good looking frogs to my terrarium. Last night my flush has broken and i tried to repair it after some struggle i realized that I'm not a handy guy. Currently I'm working on my new books, i hope people will like it. - Arif Stein
I started a new Legacy Challenge! Everyone meet Demi Gordon:
She inherited a large parcel of land in Del Sol Valley after the death of her great aunt. She sold everything she owned and decided now was the time to chase her dream of being an actress! Her dreams don't include living in a tent, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do until she makes it big.
In the meantime, she's taken some odd jobs for some quick cash and has tried to make due with roughin' it until she lands that first acting gig.
Under normal circumstances, I would post this in the thread I recently created, but the scale of this issue makes me feel like it would be better to say something here.
With Alen, I might not have as much to update as far as storytelling is concerned because setting up a successful vet office is harder than I thought. One of my recent issues involves setting the vet up with the employees that I want. I recently edited my vets, and now, they aren't showing up in the pop up to get rehired.
I'm considering a couple different possibilities:
1. Restart the save and replace everything I built in the new save, including the households.
2. Delete the overwhelming number of townies the game has generated and hope that my intended vets show up for hire.
One thing I know I will do is go against the standard rules for a rags to riches challenge and build the vet the way I want it to be.
Either way, I have too many townies that were generated, and they are preventing me from highering the vets I want.
I'm trying to avoid restarting the save, but at this rate, I might end up deleting a bunch of the households just to hire two specific vets I created for the career. As of yet, the potential hires are completely random, and I've begun saving townies from my story to the gallery with the intent to add them back to my game.
I went back to the Mastersons save for a bit. I haven’t actually posted any recent updates about them on here. Long story short… Erytheia and Alexander have twin girls, Athena and Sophia. Xanthe has a son, Theseus, but she’s not with the dad. Artemis has a daughter, Persephone. She’s not married to the father, but they do live together. Apollo is in a relationship too, although there are no kids yet.
I haven’t really thought much about what I want to do with the Matsumoto triplets. I’ve decided what degrees they’ll apply for; hopefully they all get in to do a distinguished degree at Britechester so I can have Sims live in a dorm which I’ve not done before. Sakura will do Fine Arts, as will Keiko; Keiko’s not a natural artist, but it does get you into the Floral Designer branch of the Gardener career which would suit her. Arisa will do History and become a judge, which fits with her logic skill.
I’ve not really experimented with owning a business. I’ve run a restaurant a few times, and I’ve also run a bakery but not for ages. I’ve not had any other kind of retail store, and I’ve never had a Sim be a vet. I’d like to experiment with the vet clinic, I just have to figure out how to incorporate it into one of my saves!
So yeah been building the Desert Bloom Palace all day. We're at 386k so far, 40 rooms to go. ( Yaaaay... I'm dying!! ) I decided to go a weird fusion of Moroccan, Roman, and Spanish, so, like it's gigantic and has identity issues ( lol same ), not entirely enchanted with the exterior, but I mean these types of exteriors don't normally look super crazy good anyway. But the interior is starting to look really good.
Ended up with this.
The interior layout. The centre water is actually not a pool, it's a pond ( you can flood your foundation if it's enclosed apparently ). Good thing though because it means these guys won't go swimming constantly.
This is the entryway, or most of it.
Sitting room off the entry.
Throne room.
And most of the kitchen, and now I need to sleep unfortunately lol. The dining room will be the next room over from here, and then a couple rooms up will be a toddler bedroom.
Oh man, imagine raising kids in these palaces, yikes I'm already dying, they're gonna run their silly little diapered butts aaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllll the way across the universe JUST to sit next to mom... oh jeez I'm seriously dying at the thought of this I'm gonna go nuts... or lock doors to toddlers...
白雪夏夜我不停歇
我并不感到困扰
I am kind to everyone. But if you are unkind to me, kindness is not what you will remember me for.
I am autistic. Wording isn't my strong suit.
@AngeliqueAdelaide I really love dream home decorator (both gameplay and cas/buildbuy), knifty knitting brings the sweet pastels but I haven't really done the knitting part yet LOL and I don't have eco lifestyle so enjoy.
@Enchantingdust My sim's husband did psychology at uni - its a pretty good course and they went into the education career. Enjoy!
@LipstickBoy welcome to the forum. My sims often discover that they are not handy too. With the likes system they are always complaining that they hate handiness.
@mia_noelle97 Knox looks born to be a country sim in that shot with his dog.
@Metior_Ice I played a vet in the first story I posted here on the forum and did what you di (built the ideal clinic - and she had no money troubles either (although J. ensured she had romance troubles with his cheating ways). I ge annoyed that you can't hire who you want. In the end I took Supriya Delgato (being a cats and dog pack sim) and she turned out the best vet ever - my sim barely had to do any work to maintain excellent ratings. But the vet I created and placed in the game (whom I had skilled up) -never became available for hire. Very frustrating. Like not being able to be the chef in your own restaurant! You also can't sell cowplant essences - so unfair. I wanted to make a shop selling those with one of my evil sims.
Mirabelle may have been a neglectful parent but Tiger makes sure Ginger gets As at school (like Tiger himself did). And I just noticed that I put the apple painting on the wall not orange painting - which is what I wanted for ORange generation! LOL
Tiger's tutor may have been Grimm but Ginger's is just as unique - how many sims have their brother's best friend ghost vampure teaching them fractions.
Poor Broderick still gets angry at the sim who turned him - he is a good sim and never wanted to be a vampire (or dead).
Tiger decides to add a new goal to this generation - resurrect Broderick with ambrosia (makes up for any goal I haven't quite done)
He catches the angelfish on the very first line he throws in the water (I have a level 10 angler in another save trying to catch 1 and she cannot!). The other skills/ ingredients take some time.
Enemies all around
Increasing the gardening skill (for the death flower hopefully) and nurturing the alien plant Mirabelle found -it will be good for the baking skill.
Larry visits his son often (especially now Mirabelle isn't part of the deal.)
Tiger's friends drop by too
Belle forgets that she is Tiger's fiance and brings a guest guaranteed to stir up trouble, she doesn't exactly discourage his flirting.
Ginger is not amused
Tiger can't believe this guy is in his apartment flirting with his fiance
Victory for Tiger
Two more dudes show up looking to beat up Tiger (one young adult against two elders still seems an unfair fight in Tiger's favour)
(This is Tiger's ex-neighbour who had an affair with Aunt Damson and tried to have one with his mother Moirabelle and one of Mirabelle's ex-lovers Parker Munch - father of her female twins)
Tiger tries to get them to leave - in a very physical way
Parker decides to hide in the shower rather than fight - and then the three guys leave
Baking and selling and Dive Club
Tiger discovers you make more money if you sell whole baked goods (not slices) and that Sulani beaches are a goldmine.
This group of sims who are clearly confused about what a beach is are apparently Dive Club. Fantastic NPC choices game!
Even though it is dusk - the inevitable happens to Vlad. He can't leave because his club is gathering and there is no shade on this beach.
Vale Vlad - you made it 6 generations in the game
Tiger gleefully discovers grief makes sims impulse purchase twice as fast at the sale table.
The lady in green grinning is Vlad's current wife - she is also a vampire. She is also in dive club and was sparking and flaming but she survived until sunset. She does not look like she will miss Vlad (she was flirting over his body in the previous picture with the guy in red.)
Tiger breaks the fourth wall
He is enjoying the drama
Lilith realises she is now the most powerful vampire in the realm.
The nearly empty table (Tiger has a full wallet)
ANother day, another sale
Tiger tries a new spot in San Myshuno in the arts district
The city food stalls are too cheap and too delicious so people don't want his home baked goods.
So he heads back to Sulani - he is pleased to see that new dive club members have been recruited (why they wear winter clothes and party clothes and not swimwear is a mystery to me)
Kyoshi is wondering why he is not in ski club in the snow LOL - well because that woud be logical and it doesn't exist.
Vlad's wife is flaming
and she joins her husband
Tiger sells up a storm again
It certainly helped his sales - only the pumpkin pie is left
Date night
Business in his career and his bake sales have gone so well - he decides to treat Belle to a night out.
They hit the Blue Velvet and in what is becoming a habit, Caleb tries to join the legacy by hitting on Belle - who enjoys a great flirt with him.
Caleb was here with another of my sims - if you remember Caleb hit on Mirabelle on her wedding day
Thankfully for Belle, Tiger was distracted by meeting Uncle Pluot at the bar and he was trying to impress him.
His grandfather Slate and great Aunt Dove are there too.
I started a new family last night in my PC game, to maybe start a rags to riches series. (I just started my 40 baby challenge on Twitch. Just Miniwolfsbane there.) The Asai family, with their daughter Genevieve! Mom Sophie is white and chonk, dad Augustus is buff and Indian (In retrospect, I should've made him more handsome than average and goofy looking), and uncle is handsome and evil. (There's a murder plot afoot.) Was watching Kelsey Impicciche do her challenge, and I loved the idea but felt we needed to see the backstory. So, I made my own and made it more diverse. Cheated in some money because I found an amazing castle (was hard though because it's a little too big and I'm still learning PC controls and doors/walls were missing.) Gave them too much money when I wanted to only give them 800,000,000, but I don't think the cheats go up that far? But it worked out since they have to renovate the place a bit. (And she has the money in the end, more than her Prince will. Hah!)
I then went on to make the Nightbird family of our starring Prince, and Native American Indian. (I'm fully aware that Nightbird isn't a usual Native American surname. It's actually a Star Trek reference.) His name is Cameron and my story is he's 19 and handsome and sweet. His mom died, so it's just he, his 16-year-old twin siblings, and his father running their kingdom of Maldonia. (May change it to Eastonia later. Yes, Maldonia is from a Disney movie.) They have a "vacation" house in the Asai's family kingdom, which is just Newcrest at this point, (I'm hoping the buying real Estate option will work for this!), so that's how the two will run into each other. The plan is that Genevieve's parents will be offed shortly before she ages up into a young adult, her 18th birthday. Her uncle will then be the sole inheritor to the throne, kick her out, and the challenge starts from there. She may wander provinces, ending up in Maldonia, mayyyybe even getting invited to stay at the palace, going under a false name to hide the shame. How exciting!
(Not sure if outside linking is allowed, but not seeing an option to add an image, as I'm new.) https://www.deviantart.com/mini-wolfsbane/art/The-Asai-family-890368135
Unfortunately, can't find a picture of the Nightbird's. Well, I'll have to come back. Thanks for reading!

Technically, she'd probably learn quicker if she let him direct her as much as he wants, but the drama that causes is not worth it.
I suspect that Asher could be helpful if she let him help. Also, I bet Asher would struggle to let his children go even if he wanted them to be able to support themselves.
@Keidra
The water effects can be used in pools and the ocean in Sulani. I didn't know if you knew, but you can have fireflies light up the shores or use other water effects with your beaches!
Before I start, I was checking who the family already knew and I noticed that Jenny (the mom) sure got around.
The fun with the patch and the new expansion pack are the family bonding and talking with animals.
Here, Jill learns not to hug rabbits until they properly like you.
As for today's "Guess Who Got Naked", it was Jenny herself when Pol. Tech #9 dared her to (without my influence).
I decided to name any future offspring with outer space style ones. In this case, their new son is named, Pluto.
Since Jenny got pregnant again, I will be playing this family for a little longer.

Darling's bedroom
(I split the bathroom into two, and one of them opens only into Darling's room.)
Collectible room is the hallway outside the bathrooms
Dining room
Living room
Kitchen
The ended their date stargazing

However, I think this pic is looking like school advertisements...
And, while I'm here, congrats on making this week's Friday Highlights! That's how my daughter and I found your post.

Send help idk what I'm doing xD

Let's see...Candy and Yuki's pet rat Pancake was doing some nuclear testing. Oh, and he also wrote a book that granted the family some royalties.
Also, Yuki was having A DAY.
Girl, what did that pizza do to you?!
My Sims Blog
@Enchantingdust My sim's husband did psychology at uni - its a pretty good course and they went into the education career. Enjoy!
@LipstickBoy welcome to the forum. My sims often discover that they are not handy too. With the likes system they are always complaining that they hate handiness.
@Sunflowergal227 Love the dog you made - so adorable.
Not so Berry Orange Gen. : Tiger's story
previous episode
The city food stalls are too cheap and too delicious so people don't want his home baked goods.
So he heads back to Sulani - he is pleased to see that new dive club members have been recruited (why they wear winter clothes and party clothes and not swimwear is a mystery to me)
Kyoshi is wondering why he is not in ski club in the snow LOL - well because that woud be logical and it doesn't exist.
Vlad's wife is flaming
and she joins her husband
Tiger sells up a storm again
It certainly helped his sales - only the pumpkin pie is left
Date night
They hit the Blue Velvet and in what is becoming a habit, Caleb tries to join the legacy by hitting on Belle - who enjoys a great flirt with him.
Caleb was here with another of my sims - if you remember Caleb hit on Mirabelle on her wedding day
Thankfully for Belle, Tiger was distracted by meeting Uncle Pluot at the bar and he was trying to impress him.
His grandfather Slate and great Aunt Dove are there too.
Finally some private time together
(Not sure if outside linking is allowed, but not seeing an option to add an image, as I'm new.)

Unfortunately, can't find a picture of the Nightbird's. Well, I'll have to come back. Thanks for reading!
