What is Jodie referring to? The comments under the teaser that The Sims shared on Twitter? If no one guessed correctly then it‘s most likely not farming, not B&B, not hotels… I‘m disappointed already.
A word that English Simmer said in the reaction video. “Finally, <... >!”
It must be something specific that she was waiting for.
Game Changers love to overreact when reacting to trailers so it could be a toaster tbh.
Maybe it's a finally we have a good amount of CAS for male sims lol. Probably something like that, it wouldn't be finally for a new feature like an animal or something, it must be something we've been wanting for ages.
Trailers don‘t show CAS though. And quite honestly no one gives a plum about male sim clothes apart from 4-5 people on this forum. The others just join the bandwagon whenever someone brings up the topic to show how iNcLuSiVe they are. Most simmers would rather have one chicken and no male clothes than no chicken and 100 male clothes.
Anyone else examining the reflection in her glasses to try and see what she sees?
I see a meadow.
She mentioned a hairstyle.
It must have been a green hairstyle that looks like a meadow and smells like a cow. 😉
It was something like Oh My God look at that hair and then she said I wasn't expecting this. I'm hoping it looks like one of those cas hairs Ebonix makes.

True I forgot about that. I know some of the game changers care about it including The English Simmer, she's really into CAS.
A bit out there, but I wonder if maybe there is something like an attraction system? Idk I shouldn't hope lol. Would be charming though!
They all seemed surprised by that reaction and at this point I don't think any of them would be so shocked at farming or animals. I think it has to be something different, or at least out there for farming.

I don't feel like her “finally” was an overreaction. It was not super-excited, more like “it should have been in the game long ago”.
Anyway, that's not the point, I was just clarifying what Jodie was referring to.
Of course it could be anything. Maybe not a toaster, but a kettle. I would say “finally” to that too. 😅

Yeah I agree. To me that finally doesn't look like a new feature exactly, more like something basic that should have been here ages ago. More like body hair or freed babies, not something like chickens or rabbits. Something more of a staple that is finally here that has taken far too long.
At least that's my theory. I'm waiting to be proved wrong tomorrow though.

Attraction system makes sense. Especially with the return of Miss Crumplebottom (and hopefully her bag). It would fit in nicely with the likes and dislikes patch too.
The reaction… I have seen way too many trailer reaction videos to believe that they‘re truly surprised. The reaction video also went straight to EA so there is some pressure to act accordingly (aka overhyped).
It always amuses me how gamechangers react to the trailers all the shrieking and sometimes nearly crying. Sometimes I feel like I’m a robot watching the trailers as yes I like them but don’t get that emotionally involved in them. I think a lot of it is part of “promoting” the packs.

Toaster and kettle made me think of a proper working tea set. They managed to leave it out of a Japan inspired pack, will they leave it out of an English one too?!

Yeah, I almost lost my hope for a tea set after Snowy Escape. There is a tea shelf and a decorative tray with a teapot, but we are supposed to make tea in that ridiculous tea maker thing? I guess it's better than a cupcake machine, but still strange.

Now THAT's fairy hair if it's ever existed!
My username has been my internet handle for over 20 years since I was 16 and refers to when I had a crush on a very tall boy. I intend absolutely no violence toward beautiful giraffes.
I thought it was common knowledge the pack is the English countryside.
It does seem to be quite clear that the setting is the English countryside. What the pack will actually include in addition to that (gameplay, B/B, etc.) is still somewhat open to speculation, although they have hinted pretty hard with respect to chickens and bunnies.
I don't mean to be a negative nelly, I try to keep it positive but I personally don't like or understand this kind of marketing.
I'm sure the game changers are lovely people, but watching people I've never met react to something I've not seen does not excite me or make me want to buy the product. I'm buying packs based on my likes and my personal play style, no one else's, so watching other people react doesn't work for me.

I was just thinking someone needs to zoom in on her glasses so we can see better.
