Well if by some chance there is a gamepack, stuff pack, or kit, it's not going to be announced in the stream. So at this point, my bet is if there's more to the update other than bunk beds and improved traits (which has been confirmed) it will probably be a roadmap or maybe a survey/announcement of a new community voted stuff pack.
Just take a look at the change in SimGuruFrost's avatar though! Looks like something to do with children coming if not a Generations update or expansion/game pack.

Exactly since in the main stream we have some new thing in the trait area and auto sofas I'm thinking they heavily hinting about generations because why would they say have your ancestors sims pic in your house? It might be coming soon.

Pretty sure they’d just drop kits without an announcement beforehand. They probably won’t even make trailers for future kits. We only got a trailer last time because they released 3 kits at once. A single kit isn’t something they can do a whole trailer for. They’ll probably just have short promo videos on Twitters, Instagram, etc.
Since they can’t release kits without releasing a patch first, I don’t expect kits until late this month at the earliest. It’s unlikely they’ll release another patch so soon.
I'm thinking they won't listen to the backlash given on kits and do another batch of them but it could be generational pack too because when I think bunkbeds I first think kids. They did have questions a while back on activities like prom and that. Just a thought. I could be totally wrong about it too.

My prediction now is that the next pack will be the June expansion, and it'll be a romance pack called 'Romantic Getaway'. Set in a European city and also including crime, so 'getaway' can be a play on 'getaway driver' as well as a holiday. And there'll be pre-made Sims based on Bonnie and Clyde, to guide you through the new thief career. This is all based on hints I feel like they've dropped in item descriptions, and it might not be this, but either way I don't expect to hear anything until at least May for a June expansion, except maybe for a Kit release or two. I think we're having the same pack release schedule as last year now (although a roadmap to let us know would be very welcome)

I did a thread about Paranormal item descriptions here, and there was a lot of stuff in Snowy Escape that seemed to be referencing romance and crime, sometimes together - the rug and another piece of furniture that were fighting over a bank robbery and their 'future', and a diamond thief storyline in the romantic soap they kept mentioning. Plus there was that French romance/crafts pack they released for the Sims Freeplay, so it doesn't seem impossible we'd get something similar, set in a 'romantic' destination. And if they wanted to do a Paris-themed world, adding in museums and jewel heists would be a pretty good fit, and they've already mentioned stuff like that in surveys. I would love some more romance gameplay, so I'm really hoping a romance pack of some kind is next.

A patch is always needed. At the bare minimum they’ll need the patch the box art, icon, description, screenshots, and credits to the base game.
Oh well, then maybe we won't get anything soon...
A Kit in Late April is still soon and we know the patch is already coming with a lot of goodies.
