Even though Magnolia has terrified buffs when she's near Temperance, her flirty and happy buffs always overpower them, going to show that love is stronger than fear. I'll have to get her the brave trait soon though.

@kimmer if you want to positively interact with temperance i recommend having a pet in tow. she's pretty much very angry 24/7 so most socials will fail; however "show off pet" doesn't fail (no matter the type of conversation) for some reason, so i've found it the easiest way to socialize with her for the time being.
(my sim and her are now best friends, and honestly the only thing that hasn't stopped their conversations from going horribly wrong is my sim showing off her cat a few times every time the conversation gets heated - from there she can usually slip in a few other types of conversation, but nothing too bold, as temperance has a bit of a temper)

Gennady Markov had his new house in Newcrest, a true family neighborhood. He'd moved to "Markovgorod", next door to uncle Boris, kitty-cornered to aunt Larisa, and with grandpa Dmitry three doors down. A trip to Sulani after college had established his reputation in the fishing community as an Angling Ace, and in a like-father-like-son moment, he'd married one of his professors, the newly minted Amira Markov (nee Gruber.)
He had a job as a hedge fund manager. Friends for days all over SimNation. He was already thinking about someday going into politics. Life was good.
But it all almost came apart one night, as a strange green light appeared outside. Gennady couldn't avoid it. Couldn't turn away. He had to go out and see what it was. And he realized, nearly too late, what a horrible mistake he made, as gravity began to fail him.
"Dear Watcher, PLEASE SAVE ME!"
Luckily for Gennady, his piety, his declaration of faith in college, his atoning for his womanizing by staying on friendly terms with his collegiate ex-girlfriends and his being a faithful and loving husband to his new wife had earned him a divine kickback. "Resetsim Gennady Markov", the Watcher decreed. His senses restored and the aliens of Sixam denied their reproductive prize, life was good once again.
But what had gotten the attention of the aliens in the first place? Why were they...oh. Right. The disguised alien Gennady had inadvertently befriended, who'd clearly alerted her overlords in deep space about the fertile Earthling who could facilitate their plan for assimilating humanity.
As Gennady recounted his harrowing tale to his wife, she looked skyward. "I'll kill her myself if I have to. Filthy blueskins. Only babies in this house are going to be yours and mine, not yours and some space jockey."
Meanwhile, in Oasis Springs, on a scorching hot summer day, Nina York was found dead in her winter clothes. Foul play is suspected but police have no leads. Just a weird-looking headstone at the Watery Grave that nobody quite knows how it got there.

Erik James Cantrell was born on the Eve of Winterfest. Truly, he was born in the wee hours of Winterfest itself. He always felt badly that he had wrecked his mother's celebration of the day. Not only did her contractions begin in the middle of the Midnight Service, but his father had to rush her out to the hospital, before she received Communion. This meant she spent the Holiday alone, mostly, in a hospital bed. Well, she did have Erik for company. Joseph got permission to bring Aaron by to see his new little brother. The hospital staff was wonderful bringing the new family of four a special Winterfest meal. And his mother was always one to say he was her most special gift that Winterfest. Erik went home in a large red Winterfest Stocking. His mother still had it.
Erik's original goal, which he failed to achieve, was to climb Mt. Komorebi. Just as in his very first attempt, ages ago, now, he fell during his ascent and that was only the first level. He was seriously injured at that time. When he reached home, his personal physician (other than his younger brother the Chief Resident) decided it best to hospitalize Erik. Again, the Staff was more than great. He took scores of Selfies at he sat in the hospital bed, dressed in a blue checkered hospital gown, and posted them, letting his fans know he was truly okay and to pay no attention to the reports from the Media. They had it wrong, way too much hyperbole. His being in the hospital was merely a precaution. His fans sent a myriad of flowers, gifts, and cards. The young Candy-Striper on duty was a cute little thing. Constantly fussing over him, happy to bring him the next round (bag) of cards, et al. "Is there anything more I can do for you, Mister Cantrell? Fill your water bottle, maybe?"
"Mister? You don't have to call me mister, that's my Dad and he isn't here at the moment. No, thank you very kindly, Clarice."
He was at least glad his second attempt got him to the second level. He fell again, but it was only a scratch to speak of. Once home, he realigned his goal with one more achievable. Just days away from his birthday, he finished his thirtieth album. He also got a bit of a makeover, too.
It's Only A Number he clucked to himself.
Shortly after that, Erik went on more concerts to promote said album. He was met by fans, left, right and sideways, to his joy. Glad to know he was still Trending. Old married Sim, father of six, he worried they would see him as a Has-Been. This kiss of death, he mused.
With his party upon them, the household went to work. Kayleigh baked a special Winter Cake, two actually, since they expected a large crowd and that was just the family. The girls set the tables, the boys tried to keep out of the way, helping their mother and Takashi keep an eye on Paul, who was a mischievous little fellow. Erik kept busy and out from under his wife's feet by spending time down at the Studios to lay down additional tracks. His next goal was to release forty albums by the time he was forty. No reason to not get started on it. And, if possible, tackle that mountain!
Before Erik knew it, a bunch of Sims were swarming his house.
Hayleigh and Joey were also able to make it.
When he was certain everyone was here, he decided to blow out the candles and make it "official". He was now an "old Sim." Humph, over the hill, as the idiom went.
Taking a deep breath, he filled his lungs, so as to be able to get them all blown out at once. Aaron and Joey would be certain to give him the what-for, if he failed on the first go-round. He knew he could count on this.
Leaning over, he targeted his breath at the candles, ablaze. Just when he released it, he heard what sounded like a horn. What the heck?
Turned out it was only Regina. She found a party horn and gave it a good blast. Phew Gads, I'm old.
Everybody, thankfully, was there. They partied long into the evening, for which Erik regretted. This new parish they belonged to held Winterfest services in the morning of the Holiday. Everybody was going to be groggy, he feared. Once again, it seemed he was interfering.
Looking around Erik realized they were going to have to rearrange the dining tables for tomorrow.
I got Snowy Escape yesterday, but I will spare you from the usual skiing/snowboarding pictures. Instead, let's focus on the other small entertaining moments in my game. Of course I decided to experiment with this pack by taking my favorite family, the Douglas-Goldsteins, on vacation to the mountain.
Isla is very happy to be included in an activity! Yay for toddler sledding! And yay for those adorable snowsuits.
Maeby is waiting patiently for someone to notice her and take her sledding on the bunny slope lol
Juniper chose a very inconvenient place to take a nap
Then they had some cozy family time by the fire.
Shortly after, storm chaser Beatrix decided to go hiking in a thundersnow storm alone. I can't tell if she's actually enjoying herself or not...
So a looot has happened in my game since last time I posted. My sims are now pregnant with their second child so I decided to do a little pregnancy photo shoot and I think it turned out really cute!

Travis Cole- the only sim in the legacy who can continue the blood lineage(the main legacy line of Cole) has fallen in love and they're currently in Sulani for the week leading up to Love Day. Little does Molly Ballard* know she'll be going home with a ring on her finger by the end of the trip!

I can't show you my new household but I just played my pretty new sim living in a haunted house who fell in love with
Guidry the Ghost, got married & is now expecting a baby.
I removed Guidry's personal trait to make him human to try for a baby, then pause Guidry & his human wife in the middle of woohoo to give him back his trait. I will put them in the Gallery once there's a baby bump.
Shortly after his birthday party was over, Erik slipped out of the house. He had a concert, followed immediately with a photoshoot. Then came the promo on his Simstagram. Happy to do it, he realized in these wee hours that it was officially a white Winterfest, after midnight as it was. Dawn was just breaking as he returned. He chugged down an Energy drink, such as the ones he earned back in Uni playing Sim Scuffle online.
Slowly, his family rose, groggy just as he expected. All but Paul and baby Cadence. She was wide awake and screaming her little lungs out. Must be time for something, he mused and went in to change her pants and feed her. Afterwards, he shook Kayleigh out of her deep slumber. "Time to get up. It's Winterfest and I need help getting the children ready," he said into her ear. The look she shot him once she pealed an eye open gave him the shivers. Whoa, somebody needs her coffee. Surprisingly, despite the grumbles he expected, all four of his eldest children sprang right out of bed. They quickly dressed, brushed their teeth and the family was off to services. As soon as they returned home again, the family was quick to gather in the formal livingroom. Gifts were to be had by all.
Paul stood before the tall Noble Pine and just giggled.
Then he took off outdoors. Erik found him chatting with one of several Snow Pals. This one had been constructed on their back patio.
It was quite the tall tale the tyke was spinning. Erik wondered just how hard it would be to entice his youngest son back indoors?
Slowly, but surely his family assembled.
"Whoa, look at the pile of presents!"
"Look who I found wandering outside?" Erik said, escorting Paul indoors with the promise of a gift to open.
"Mine?" Paul asked.
"Yes, dig in, it's for you."
As Erik let out a deep belly laugh, Jamison was already inspecting his package.
"Are you sure this one's for me? It's all purple. Should be for Harmony," Andrew said.
"I don't think it's mine," Harmony said. "I read the tag and it clearly said, TO Andrew."
"Oh, here's one for me," Melodie said, as she gave the gift a slight shake. "Wonder what it could be?"
"Why don't you open it and find out," Kayleigh said.
Erik was the last to open a gift. In many ways, he already had plenty of gifts from his birthday. This felt a tad excessive. But, he was touched by it all the same.
At last all the gifts had been unwrapped. At least this first round.
The family worked quickly to get the tables set and ready. Kayleigh worked on the hors d'oeuvres, while Erik began preparing the Grand Meal of Ham. Before they knew it, their guests were all at the door. Thankfully, Erik remembered to disarm the gate so they could get in as they arrived.
After the large family had their give-exchange and while Erik was still busy in the kitchen, Spock and Louise wandered about. They had only been to the house a couple of times, since Erik's family moved in. Gazing at a new piece of artwork, which hadn't been there before, Spock said to Louise, "I have always admired your work, Louise."
"Thank you, Spock, coming from you, that's high praise. I just felt this wall cried out for something."
"Indeed, and you found that something on the end of your paintbrush. I must say the composition and the color compliments the room."
Joseph found his second son out in the kitchen, busily applying his culinary skills to their Feast Day meal. "I have to say, I really enjoy the zeal you put into everything you do. I especially enjoy watching you cook."
"If you would indulge your old father by doing that juggling act with the spices …"
"Okay, but only because you asked." Erik winked.
"And, I would be pleased if you would show off your basting skills, too."
"Of course, Dad. Happy to."
Just as their feast was ending, and all complaining that the food was far too good and how many of them had eaten way too much, the children discovered a special guest had arrived.
"Ho, Ho, Ho …"
"It's Father Winterfest!" Harmony said.
"May I have a gift, please?" she asked.
"Me, too?" Andrew said.
"Prewsent, pwease?" Paul said, dubious of the stranger.
"Tank you."
Before he left, Father Winterfest placed a few more gifts under the tree. He was so very touched at how polite these little Sims were.
Shortly afterwards the family deemed it time to leave.
My pregnant male sim gave birth to a baby girl. He does have a boyfriend that don't live with him who is the father of the baby. As soon as he gave birth he walked outside and was abducted by aliens and came back pregnant.
But I did have a Sim practicing his speech in the nude. It was a lag/ glitch that caused him to come out the shower and begin his mirror animation before donning his clothes.
Later, Bella Goth rode by on a bike, wearing her formal (and somewhat iconic) red dress. It happened to be about eleven at night and in Newcrest. You do you Bella!
I sadly don’t have any pictures but my Sim, Becky just had a baby boy with her boyfriend, her baby is now a toddler. Her boyfriend proposed to her, so they are now engaged but they woohooed that night and Becky is now pregnant again with another baby boy. I love risky woohoo, you never know what may happen.😆

Gazing at a new piece of artwork, which hadn't been there before, Spock said to Louise, "I have always admired your work, Louise."
"Thank you, Spock, coming from you, that's high praise. I just felt this wall cried out for something."
"Indeed, and you found that something on the end of your paintbrush. I must say the composition and the color compliments the room."
Joseph found his second son out in the kitchen, busily applying his culinary skills to their Feast Day meal. "I have to say, I really enjoy the zeal you put into everything you do. I especially enjoy watching you cook."
"If you would indulge your old father by doing that juggling act with the spices …"
"Okay, but only because you asked." Erik winked.
"And, I would be pleased if you would show off your basting skills, too."
"Of course, Dad. Happy to."
Just as their feast was ending, and all complaining that the food was far too good and how many of them had eaten way too much, the children discovered a special guest had arrived.
"It's Father Winterfest!" Harmony said.
"May I have a gift, please?" she asked.
"Me, too?" Andrew said.
"Prewsent, pwease?" Paul said, dubious of the stranger.
"Tank you."
Before he left, Father Winterfest placed a few more gifts under the tree. He was so very touched at how polite these little Sims were.
Shortly afterwards the family deemed it time to leave.

But I did have a Sim practicing his speech in the nude. It was a lag/ glitch that caused him to come out the shower and begin his mirror animation before donning his clothes.
Later, Bella Goth rode by on a bike, wearing her formal (and somewhat iconic) red dress. It happened to be about eleven at night and in Newcrest. You do you Bella!
