Even the lower-end machines are more powerful than they used to be. But still hoping that one of these days, I'll get that gaming PC.

EDIT: Actually, I didn't have to do anything. It wasn't anything that affected my channel it was just the thought that I put days of work into making that video and someone else would be the only one to have the right to monetize it and earn money from a couple of seconds of music that no one could even hear. They would never have actually earned anything from it in reality as I don't get enough views for anyone to pay for advertising on any of my videos.

Update and feedback tomorrow. Worked a bit on fixing the Ava prequel, now going to actually do the in-game work tomorrow to get the ball rolling on it. Not sure when it's first update will be yet, but I'll let you all know soon enough.
@GraceyManor I was curious about the basis for your story so I looked the show up. It seems pretty interesting, and I learned that the actress that played Carolyn to Edward Mulhare's captain also starred in an Elvis movie. Being an Elvis fan, and due to liking your story, I thought that was neat.
Great News. I've managed to get the video Live. And it's all there. I reloaded it after removing the sound from the video for a small portion of it and it made it through the YouTube copyright claim censor. They did say during this pandemic they have people working form home all over the world and they don't have the facilities to do this copyright thing as they've been doing it and if there are any issues with very short, inadvertent cases they can be appealed and possibly have the claim removed. But I thought it'd be faster and easier to just reload the video without the 2 seconds of almost totally inaudible and irrelevant music in it.
So here is Episode 34 of The Perfect Genetics Challenge Generation 1.
In this episode they complete the removal of the garden from their Sunset Valley greenhouse.
Connie clones a new plant sim from Mabel's DNA. Marigold is the result and she has the Grumpy and Evil traits.
After moving to their new house Marigold does her toddler skills.
It was this part of the video that resulted in the copyright claim. I paused in my narration for a couple of seconds and some music from the stereo or TV was apparently heard by the software that checks for this sort of thing thereby allowing the organisation that owns the rights to that music to put ads on this video and claim all of the benefit from my 3 days of hard work. I won't be able to monetize it anyway as I don't get enough views but it was the principal of the thing. I just didn't want them to be able to do that.
Everyone but Marigold goes to China, France and Egypt. I didn't get any video of China. Donna just had to catch 3 dragon fish. They weren't there for long. There is some video of France where Connie and Mabel had to interview a sim. This is why they went now. I want to age the teens up to Young Adult and they have had that opportunity for ages. I finally had to decide if I was going to cancel it or let them go and get it done. I decided I wanted to send them adventuring at least once anyhow so they may as well complete the opportunity so they took off together. Mostly they are seen catching butterflies. They get some surprisingly valuable butterflies.
Then they head off to Egypt. We see a bit more of them in Egypt as Donna and Mateo are into the tombs.
On their return home they start unpacking their loot and reassembling a few things, such as pushable statues and sarcophagi.

The next episode will definitely be the final of the episodes devoted to Donna and her crew.

Before Donna arrives in Moonlit Falls I'll have an episode where Gary ages up to YA. Then the next episode a mysterious new household suddenly appears in the world and I move Donna in with Gary's household so they can get to know each other. I plan a huge wedding in the Indoor Outdoor Wedding venue for them. This is why I needed to age up the three teens as I knew I wanted them to be at home with the younger children while Donna was with Gary's household. I know with mods I can have teens taking care of children but I wanted them to be Young Adults for this purpose. The situation could go on for a few episodes.
I will be moving various sims from Donna's household into the Walker household occasionally and see what relationships eventuate as a result. At the very least, Gary's imaginary friend will age up to Young Adult with Gary and will be a potential partner for Connie. If that happens I'll move them into a home of their own thereby freeing up some extra space in the Walker household for Cindy and Bill to fill with their babies. Of course Donna and Gary will be the main occupants of Donna's house and will move out of the main Walker house and back to Donna's place once we've had their wedding.
If Connie and Chas become a couple (I may need to adjust traits to encourage this to happen) I will have a big wedding for them too. Then they'll get their own home somewhere in Moonlight Falls.
There will also be a big wedding for Cindy and Bill. I really want to get some more wedding photos and use that huge venue with it's two locations for ceremonies - the garden and indoor chapel. And the restaurant where they can eat and dance after the ceremony.
Well, not a whole lot more to report from yesterday, except that Barbara encountered the ghost of Marsha Barrington in the dormitory, and had a brief conversation with her.
One question - they didn't even know each other when Marsha was alive; can Barbara still use the "Oh My Ghost" opportunity on her?
Well, my health issues struck again, which means I didn't get to comments yesterday, either. I spent much of the day with fever in bed, and even normal posting gets tedious in that state. It's better at the moment, and I hope it stays that way. I guess my comments on @bekkasan 's awesome party and band, @Brandontaylor 's legacy marching on, @AbellaKellaher 's pirate ship resort and many other posts are still some way out. However, congrats to @Nikkei_Simmer for getting a new computer. I'm glad you are able to play again.
For people who liked the pics of Cronor, I can only say that the real treat are the interiors, which I posted nothing about. I'll leave just a few pics here for the moment.
OK...I'm playing a small test of what this computer can handle. Decided to play on the Midnight Sun world - one miniscule island in the middle of a vast ocean.
So I plunked teen River and teen Haruo right smack in the middle of it and they get to survivve by fishing...when they're not busy osculating.
Gave them a little shack in the middle of no-where and they're surrounded by sharks.
Yeah, I don't think there's much fishing going on...but at least they managed to max out their fishing skill to 10 and ended up with a whole haul of death-fish which allowed them to become solvent.
And they're now in a somewhat nice home that takes up the majority of the island. Hopefully there's no tsunamis in the area or they're going to the bottom of the ocean.

This was from the other day, just had a bad sinus headache on Wednesday then was busy yesterday. Going to get this posted, do feedback, and get a bit of work on Ava done before moving over to the Jones again tonight. Not much going on over the Memorial Day weekend so can work on Ava more then. Anyway, let's get into the update.
As soon as Dwight and Melanie got to China for the third trip, Dwight went to get an opportunity done. Brianna Alvi asked him to learn some athletic tips in China.
Dwight: Really, that's the advice you have for me?
Woman: Yep, now go away. I got a tournament to attend to.
Melanie: Hey, wanna do a tomb together?
Dwight: Sure, sounds like fun.
Melanie: Sorry, only one here is to look for some items. That's only a one person job, really.
Dwight: Yeah, I'll just stay here and do something.
Melanie got an opportunity to search for Lapiz Lazuli and Mercury. She found these relatively easy due to the markers on the map where they are common.
Melanie: Hello? I just gave you gems and a rock I could have kept for myself and you won't even look at me.
Man: I can't help it, I can't turn my head the right direction!
The man then sent her off to look for Assassin Beetles. That took a bit of time because I could find where they were at, but not see them crawling around. She ended up getting the two required though.
Dwight made waffles for the first time but they didn't turn out well at all. Melanie ate them but they weren't that good.
Dwight: Liking the vacation?
Melanie: Yes, but I like you more

Dwight is now breaking stone boards. He's not too far off from breaking space rocks. Melanie was breaking oak boards not far away but I didn't get any screenshots of that.
That evening, Dwight and Melanie found a place where no one really was and they transformed into their wolf forms for some hunting. It was pretty productive, although Melanie did better than Dwight.
Dwight finally got to assist in a tomb, the Dragon Cave. He was pretty fascinated but doesn't have the experience Melanie does.
Melanie: You got to put your back into it.
Dwight: I think I got this.
I didn't take screenshots of every little bit of this but they ended up finishing it. I had a feeling I already did this but realized what it was. When my charger came undone (battery is bad) I lost this part of China. That's why I had to do it again.
@Nikkei_Simmer Glad to hear it. Hope you can get a gaming computer eventually. I know my laptop is good for it, although a gaming desktop would be nice.

So... I'm not really developing a story-line with this particular game. I've just been away so long that I have to get back into the game and familiarize myself with the controls and NRAAS again. Believe it or not, it's been an full year since I've done some actual playing and you know that my stories take some serious set-up to execute. I really need to see just how much CC one of my games actually takes on this computer.

@Brandontaylor Haha! Yeah, they did get pretty close there. Yeah, most of the time, they don't like being woken up. Delilah and Tom do not like ghosts at all. I'm kind of hoping that Emily will like them as Connie does. Oh yeah. That's a good idea to bring the portable radio along when they go fishing. I'm afraid I'd leave it behind, though. Oh, I didn't even notice what the balloons were of. Interesting that it was about dragons, yeah.
Now, onto my gameplay update. I actually did play yesterday but was too tired to post pics here afterward. So, they're here today. I didn't get many shots either day so this will be pretty short.
First up, Connie got asked out on a date by a random guy she didn't even know, so here she is all the way out at the beach near where, I believe, Gobias Koffee lived.
That evening, I got a shot of the kids having dinner at the house with their dad. A couple of them still don't really know their dad that well, but things like this will help.
Later on, I had Emily go out to dinner with her best friend (who I've already forgotten the name of) to the restaurant in town. She got an opportunity regarding her dinner that had the options of whether she wanted to "be kind" or "yell" at the waiter, I guess. She's a "Good" person at the moment, so I certainly had her "be kind" - which got me a free full Baked Alaska dish, which is always great! At the end of the dinner, I ended the group outing and then had her ask him out. He eagerly agreed and now they are boyfriend and girlfriend.
Later that night, once everyone was asleep, Christopher (gen 1), Bethany (gen 2), and Alfonzo (Connie's deceased husband) all came out at various points and they were all happy to see each other.

Later, Christopher went out to the garden and possessed a Garlic plant! I didn't know ghosts could do that, but here it is!

The next day, I had Connie go out on the town to Central Park to visit with the other locals. Well, we actually came across her son Daniel there! Here she is talking to him. It took a while, but now they are back to best friend status again.
And, that's it for today. I can't wait for the boys to age up, get married, and moved out with a child on the way so I can move on with my matriarchial alphabet legacy using Emily.

My lot was rejected my MTS. After anger typing (then deleting) and having a cry about it (it was actually the emotional straw that broke the proverbial camel's back as I was due for a good cry), I messaged them to see if I could get some specifics as to why it was rejected. If they're simple changes (recoloring a couple rooms or maybe adding something to the front facade) then I'll try again. If it's major changes (renovating/rebuilding) then it'll just go on the growing pile of of evidence that I'm a @&$* builder.
I had to move Meryl from Dragon Valley to Isla Paradiso because every time I went into Map mode, the game crashed. Then she encountered an error when using the stove, so I replaced that, but the next time I loaded up the save, she was no longer part of the house, so I had to replace her.
So I am not sure if I am trying to do too much custom stuff in my worlds, but the last two games I created crash when I try to start them?? So this is my third attempt at working with a family. I have two guys living together as roommates. (They're actually characters from TV shows...am I the only one who does this??) One of them has started a career in the military field, while the other is a businessman. Mr. Military is fond of gardening and fishing (very outdoorsy), while Mr. Businessman enjoys playing chess, and working on his cooking skill. While they have become good friends, I tend to focus on gaining skills before forming relationships, so here soon I plan to get them both a little love interest.

my house keeper Martha.
Eric: Is it possible that he appears subconciously when you want him to
like when he says things you can't say yourself?
Carolyn: I don't think so.

Carolyn: I realize that, that's why I'm here.
Eric: Mrs Muir, living at Gull Lighthouse, you're surrounded by

@GraceyManor I was curious about the basis for your story so I looked the show up. It seems pretty interesting, and I learned that the actress that played Carolyn to Edward Mulhare's captain also starred in an Elvis movie. Being an Elvis fan, and due to liking your story, I thought that was neat.
So here is Episode 34 of The Perfect Genetics Challenge Generation 1.
In this episode they complete the removal of the garden from their Sunset Valley greenhouse.
Connie clones a new plant sim from Mabel's DNA. Marigold is the result and she has the Grumpy and Evil traits.
After moving to their new house Marigold does her toddler skills.
It was this part of the video that resulted in the copyright claim. I paused in my narration for a couple of seconds and some music from the stereo or TV was apparently heard by the software that checks for this sort of thing thereby allowing the organisation that owns the rights to that music to put ads on this video and claim all of the benefit from my 3 days of hard work. I won't be able to monetize it anyway as I don't get enough views but it was the principal of the thing. I just didn't want them to be able to do that.
Everyone but Marigold goes to China, France and Egypt. I didn't get any video of China. Donna just had to catch 3 dragon fish. They weren't there for long. There is some video of France where Connie and Mabel had to interview a sim. This is why they went now. I want to age the teens up to Young Adult and they have had that opportunity for ages. I finally had to decide if I was going to cancel it or let them go and get it done. I decided I wanted to send them adventuring at least once anyhow so they may as well complete the opportunity so they took off together. Mostly they are seen catching butterflies. They get some surprisingly valuable butterflies.
Then they head off to Egypt. We see a bit more of them in Egypt as Donna and Mateo are into the tombs.
On their return home they start unpacking their loot and reassembling a few things, such as pushable statues and sarcophagi.

Gary and Chas - I'm thinking of pairing Connie and Chas up in a future episode.
The next episode will definitely be the final of the episodes devoted to Donna and her crew.
Then we'll be back to the Walker household in Moonlit Falls for the following episodes.
Before Donna arrives in Moonlit Falls I'll have an episode where Gary ages up to YA. Then the next episode a mysterious new household suddenly appears in the world and I move Donna in with Gary's household so they can get to know each other. I plan a huge wedding in the Indoor Outdoor Wedding venue for them. This is why I needed to age up the three teens as I knew I wanted them to be at home with the younger children while Donna was with Gary's household. I know with mods I can have teens taking care of children but I wanted them to be Young Adults for this purpose. The situation could go on for a few episodes.
I will be moving various sims from Donna's household into the Walker household occasionally and see what relationships eventuate as a result. At the very least, Gary's imaginary friend will age up to Young Adult with Gary and will be a potential partner for Connie. If that happens I'll move them into a home of their own thereby freeing up some extra space in the Walker household for Cindy and Bill to fill with their babies. Of course Donna and Gary will be the main occupants of Donna's house and will move out of the main Walker house and back to Donna's place once we've had their wedding.
If Connie and Chas become a couple (I may need to adjust traits to encourage this to happen) I will have a big wedding for them too. Then they'll get their own home somewhere in Moonlight Falls.
There will also be a big wedding for Cindy and Bill. I really want to get some more wedding photos and use that huge venue with it's two locations for ceremonies - the garden and indoor chapel. And the restaurant where they can eat and dance after the ceremony.

So I plunked teen River and teen Haruo right smack in the middle of it and they get to survivve by fishing...when they're not busy osculating.
Gave them a little shack in the middle of no-where and they're surrounded by sharks.
Yeah, I don't think there's much fishing going on...but at least they managed to max out their fishing skill to 10 and ended up with a whole haul of death-fish which allowed them to become solvent.
And they're now in a somewhat nice home that takes up the majority of the island. Hopefully there's no tsunamis in the area or they're going to the bottom of the ocean.

This was from the other day, just had a bad sinus headache on Wednesday then was busy yesterday. Going to get this posted, do feedback, and get a bit of work on Ava done before moving over to the Jones again tonight. Not much going on over the Memorial Day weekend so can work on Ava more then. Anyway, let's get into the update.
As soon as Dwight and Melanie got to China for the third trip, Dwight went to get an opportunity done. Brianna Alvi asked him to learn some athletic tips in China.
Dwight: Really, that's the advice you have for me?
Woman: Yep, now go away. I got a tournament to attend to.
Melanie: Hey, wanna do a tomb together?
Dwight: Sure, sounds like fun.
Melanie: Sorry, only one here is to look for some items. That's only a one person job, really.
Dwight: Yeah, I'll just stay here and do something.
Melanie got an opportunity to search for Lapiz Lazuli and Mercury. She found these relatively easy due to the markers on the map where they are common.
Melanie: Hello? I just gave you gems and a rock I could have kept for myself and you won't even look at me.
Man: I can't help it, I can't turn my head the right direction!
The man then sent her off to look for Assassin Beetles. That took a bit of time because I could find where they were at, but not see them crawling around. She ended up getting the two required though.
Dwight made waffles for the first time but they didn't turn out well at all. Melanie ate them but they weren't that good.
Dwight: Liking the vacation?
Melanie: Yes, but I like you more
Bet you can guess where this led to.
Dwight is now breaking stone boards. He's not too far off from breaking space rocks. Melanie was breaking oak boards not far away but I didn't get any screenshots of that.
That evening, Dwight and Melanie found a place where no one really was and they transformed into their wolf forms for some hunting. It was pretty productive, although Melanie did better than Dwight.
Dwight finally got to assist in a tomb, the Dragon Cave. He was pretty fascinated but doesn't have the experience Melanie does.
Melanie: You got to put your back into it.
Dwight: I think I got this.
I didn't take screenshots of every little bit of this but they ended up finishing it. I had a feeling I already did this but realized what it was. When my charger came undone (battery is bad) I lost this part of China. That's why I had to do it again.
@Nikkei_Simmer Glad to hear it. Hope you can get a gaming computer eventually. I know my laptop is good for it, although a gaming desktop would be nice.
Seems Tosh and Clara are doing great.
River and Haruo don't seem too fazed at being on a secluded island.
The shack looks nice, at least it's a place to get out of the elements.
Nice little house, not much yard but still nice. And I hope not, otherwise they will be swimming with the fishes.

Now, onto my gameplay update. I actually did play yesterday but was too tired to post pics here afterward. So, they're here today. I didn't get many shots either day so this will be pretty short.
First up, Connie got asked out on a date by a random guy she didn't even know, so here she is all the way out at the beach near where, I believe, Gobias Koffee lived.
That evening, I got a shot of the kids having dinner at the house with their dad. A couple of them still don't really know their dad that well, but things like this will help.
Later on, I had Emily go out to dinner with her best friend (who I've already forgotten the name of) to the restaurant in town. She got an opportunity regarding her dinner that had the options of whether she wanted to "be kind" or "yell" at the waiter, I guess. She's a "Good" person at the moment, so I certainly had her "be kind" - which got me a free full Baked Alaska dish, which is always great! At the end of the dinner, I ended the group outing and then had her ask him out. He eagerly agreed and now they are boyfriend and girlfriend.
Later that night, once everyone was asleep, Christopher (gen 1), Bethany (gen 2), and Alfonzo (Connie's deceased husband) all came out at various points and they were all happy to see each other.

Later, Christopher went out to the garden and possessed a Garlic plant! I didn't know ghosts could do that, but here it is!

The next day, I had Connie go out on the town to Central Park to visit with the other locals. Well, we actually came across her son Daniel there! Here she is talking to him. It took a while, but now they are back to best friend status again.
And, that's it for today. I can't wait for the boys to age up, get married, and moved out with a child on the way so I can move on with my matriarchial alphabet legacy using Emily.

My lot was rejected my MTS. After anger typing (then deleting) and having a cry about it (it was actually the emotional straw that broke the proverbial camel's back as I was due for a good cry), I messaged them to see if I could get some specifics as to why it was rejected. If they're simple changes (recoloring a couple rooms or maybe adding something to the front facade) then I'll try again. If it's major changes (renovating/rebuilding) then it'll just go on the growing pile of of evidence that I'm a @&$* builder.

I had to move Meryl from Dragon Valley to Isla Paradiso because every time I went into Map mode, the game crashed. Then she encountered an error when using the stove, so I replaced that, but the next time I loaded up the save, she was no longer part of the house, so I had to replace her.
