@icanhassims Your house's interior is so elegant! In the dining room I especially love how you combined the curio cabinet with the counters and cupboards. That looks really cool.
@JojoMOMSTER I'm literally just sitting at home without distractions (even before the lockdown) so it's easy for me to become engrossed in building. I'm glad you liked my idea of opening up the fifth chamber. I figured four bedrooms would be plenty. haha
Thank you, @GlacierSnow! I've seen people do similar things in bathrooms and figured I'd give it a try in the dining room because it didn't feel like any of the hutches were big enough in the right design.
Thanks @icanhassims! I am still working from home while also paying attention to the work from home tasks that come for my child each day. My child is only too happy to do the work, I am grateful for that.
I am glad you like what I have so far. @rosemow@AlJay , I appreciate your enthusiasm. BTW, this home is for Timothy and Tracey from the One room, one week, one theme romantic dining room characters.
BB 6 Victorian is a very lovely Victorian home! @pearlbh Very lovely furnishing of the interior! Very nice warm brown colour and the wood flooring is calming and very nice. Very nice floor rugs in the room. The grandfather clock is a homely Victorian touch in the front entry room. The pink and grey colour scheme of the girls bedroom is pretty! The glasshouse for sims to enjoy growing plants is great! The exterior design of the home, brown colour and arch windows are very nice!
It is a very lovely family home!

This is my first entry to a building challenge and I'm feeling a bit nervous. But I had a lot of fun building this. I opted for smaller dimensions which got me into problems later trying to stay as true to the blueprint as possible. So I literally had to cut some corners. :-)
While furnishing the building I somehow thought of "Little Women" and also made the March family in CAS and tried to decorate the children's rooms accordingly.
@pearlbh Awesome build, and by seeing yours I just remembered I wanted to place a clock and forgot. Well, maybe next time.
I tried to make the pictures smaller but I couldn't figure out how. I'm sorry.
Historic Victorian is a lovely Victorian family home! @vanee4 Very nice exterior design and roof covered wraparound porch! The flowers are pretty around the bases of the trees. Very nice umbrella covered dining table area to enjoy eating meals outdoors in the air. Kids will have fun playing on the monkey bars, Lovely interior furnishings! The colours are beautiful! Very pretty floral wallpaper in the bedrooms and nice curtained bedhead windows in the master bedroom. Sims will enjoy painting on the easel in the single bed room. Very dining room! The wallart is very nice and the teaset is a nice touch on the dining table. Very nice floor rugs in the rooms. Very lovely study to enjoy sitting near the fire having a drink from the globe bar or have fun playing chess. It is great there is a cellar!

For those that were going to do this challenge and wanted to go Victorian with it, I found this site that explains what makes a Victorian home Victorian. I thought it might be helpful. I wanted to brush up a little to make sure I was sure of the concept before I started.

Additional Notes: I went with a remodel, but tried to stay true to the concept of a home with old world charm. The house now has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The fifth bedroom was transformed into an exercise area. The basement was built out from a cellar to a game room and dance area. The exterior shape was not changed. It was funny because I started with it as a Victorian and about a quarter of the way through a tudor popped out so I went with it.
Your Country Rose Tudor @LionessInMN is beautiful. I love the Tudor style you went with. The porch is lovely, and I am just blown away by the pool. Inside is elegantly decorated. It looks old world in several places, but you can definitely see the modern conveniences as well. Wonderful job.
Country Rose Tudor is a lovely family Tudor home! @LionessInMN Very beautiful exterior design, patterned walls, very nice windows used and pretty flowerboxes! Lovely flowers on exterior walls and along the home edges! Very lovely lake pond and outdoors dining gazebo! Kids will enjoy playing on the monkey bars. Very lovely furnishing of the interior.Very nice blue and white colours! The curtains are very pretty! Very nice dining room area! Sims will enjoy the sunlight coming in through the windows whilst dining. Very nice living room area for Sims to have fun playing chess and enjoy playing the piano or listening to music being played. They will like having a drink from the bar. The basement games and dance areas are great! Sims will enjoy dancing to the do booth music. Very nice foosball, lllama tabletop game and darts area.
It is a very nice home!
Yeah, that didn't work I don't understand why this happens sometimes. I have now built a wall under it and put up spandrels, but that means altering the exterior, which we aren't supposed to do. But I can't stand that white edge in an otherwise brown exterior :P
