@Brandontaylor thanks. Yes - when I first set up that world I thought just adding a mausoleum was a bit more than I really wanted to do - but then the dead have to go somewhere. It wasn't until I was recording video of the children visiting the mausoleum for a school trip that I thought it all looked a bit depressingly bare. If I could have just added a few tombstones in a row with perhaps a fishing hole for death fish I might have done a reasonable job of it - but I had a particular statue in my mind that I wanted to add to the lot - and in order to find it I had to go through just about every single statue I had in buy mode and then I had to delete them but I only deleted a few and those that were left were scattered randomly all over the place and by that time I was just too tired and bored with it all that I just left it. Maybe one day I'll go back and sort out the mess a bit.

Her curiosity was peaked.Chelsea decided to investigate this strange building the jocks and nerds were working on.
She decided to bring out her secrete form: The Red Talon.
Chelsea waited patiently in the bushes until she was sure everyone was gone.
Chelsea: Now, how did Schwarze do this.
She tried to hack into the main frame; to no avail.It was almost time to go to class; so she would have to put a halt on
her investigation until she had more time.
In the town of Moonlight Falls, there is a civil war raging involving humans against supernaturals.
The humans feel threatened by the increasing population of supernatural beings in the town (particularly vampires),
and they formed an alliance with the witches under the agreement that the local witch coven leaders would work with the human police force to keep the town safe. That went well until two of the town's most prominent supernatural families, the Wolff family and the Van Gould family, began to feud. It got ugly and the feud got bigger until all the town werewolves began to fight for territory with all the vampires. Humans died in the process, and the witches went into hiding.
Now, vampires basically run the town, having killed most of the Wolff family and this is the environment of my current game.
In the picture above is Calli Wilde, an old friend of Erica Wolff who was recently killed. Calli is godmother to Erica Wolff's children Gator and Wilhelmina, who are rumored to be the only surviving members of the Wolff pack. Calli is in town to find the kids and plot revenge against the vampires. Unfortunately, there are some complications...
Calli married Argus Brown, a local werewolf, and it was a beautiful night except that a witch crashed their wedding and warned them both to leave Moonlight Falls. Calli refused, declaring that she wouldn't leave until she avenged her friend's death and found her missing godchildren. But the witch insisted. When the newlyweds continued to refuse the witch cast a spell on Calli saying, "Then I will give you a reason to leave. It's for your own good."
They didn't find out what she meant until the next day when Calli discovered she was pregnant with twins. The witch had cast a fertility charm on Calli, in the hopes that the thought of raising babies in such a dangerous town would discourage her from staying. It did slow her down, but Calli is stubborn and after she had the twins (Bria and Bambi), she continued her search for Erica's missing children - leaving Argus home to take care of their own children.
The side effects of having a magically induced pregnancy is that the twins aged up unusually fast-so fast that Calli tracked the witch down to ask for help.
The witch informed Calli that as long as she stayed in Moonlight Falls, the children would age faster and faster until Calli would be forced to watch them waste away. The only way to save them would be to move to another town to break the spell. Calli was devastated to hear this and she tried to attack the witch but the witch laughed and cast another spell - this time, she said, Calli had 2 more reasons to leave!
Calli hoped that didn't mean what she thought it meant...but, sure enough, she gave birth the next day and it turned out to be another set of twins.
At this point, Argus wants to leave Moonlight Falls, but Calli still wants to accomplish her mission. Fortunately, her daughters have agreed to help. As Argus faces the challenge of being stuck at home (again) to raise a new set of rapidly growing werewolf boys, Calli, Bambi, and Bria have taken to hunting every night to search for the missing Wolff kids. But they're running out of time. Soon, Calli will have to decide whether she will choose to save her family or her friend's family. And that's assuming the vampires don't catch them all first.
At university, Lucas and Paul went on with their studies. The days blurred into each other.
Navigating the crowds. Seems Esther, the vampire, had an accident.
The face you make when you realize that your teacher is the paparazzi who follows you around everywhere, including camping at your front door. This makes the constant reminder that "you should put a little bit more effort into your studies" get a sinister undertone. At least it means you better stay awake during the lecture, even if you are the only one.
Paul certainly fares better... if we forget his teacher has to improve his salary by playing the mascot.
Paul has traits that make university much easier for him, like "Schmoozer". Lucas has to work.
The outside class activities also go on.
"We are the hivemind! Obey!"
More workouts and making friends at the gym.
Last not least, keeping up with those friends.
@GraceyManor hehe, brave leaving the babies with him! I guess that will keep him from being so bored.
Well, dag, the girl can't even go to uni without someone figuring out who she is all masked and costumed!
Wow....she was kinda rude to Darren. A 5 min conversation would not have hurt her grades, but reassured her hubby quite a bit.

***Haven't played much lately. Not this last Sunday but the one before, PBS started a documentary on the history of country music so I have been watching it once it hit the 1950's time period. Last night it made it to 1983 and talked a lot about George Jones, Johnny Cash, Dolly Pardon, and Alabama. Tonight is the finale which will take the documentary to present day with Garth Brooks and the death of Johnny Cash. It has been a really interesting documentary.

Just a quick post to say hello - I haven't been simming for two weeks now, because my Dad is in the hospital and I've been visiting him every day after work, so I've been having less free time and am more stressed than usual. It looks like he's going to be okay! But I feel drained when I come home, and not in the mood for playing an absorbing game like the Sims.
I looked through the last page of the thread quickly. @Bekkasan , I love the screenshots of Bryce being revived, his happy face is so adorable! And @AbellaKellaher , the resort looks stunning!
@bekkasan Thanks! I was looking around at other houses at university, and they basically all look like that with overflowing dirty laundry. The guys have to cast a restoration spell on any house they enter. I'm already thinking of putting super hampers into all the houses of the University world.
Your experience with Esther and then a full family certainly sounds like fun. I haven't really done much traveling to other worlds via Traveler yet. I hope my families are smaller soon, which will make this an easier option. I'm also looking forward to doing things in Egypt at some point, where I haven't done anything yet.
@Steamvarius Oh, that's quite common. You were lucky the burglar actually got arrested. Somehow, the police at my places has a bad record. Then again, the burglars usually don't make it into the house.
@Silverofdreams30 Thank you! I can imagine university getting boring quickly, especially if you play on normal lifespan, where it just takes too long in comparison. I play on epic lifespan, which means it's a rather rare occasion to get away from home, which keeps it somewhat fresh. Plus, I only started with the Sims this year.
@Brandontaylor Thank you for all the comments. NRAAS SP tends to overdramatize things, but I made sure that Hank actually left his mark on the population in my current game. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your game, whenever you feel like it again.
I don't actually use bedrooms for toddlers. They live in the dining room or the living room, and I prefer open floor plans anyway. There's always someone there to care for them, and it gets done in a rather organic way. If I feel like it, the butler may get a loft bed right next to them, although that may lead to frequent "passed out butler" syndrome.

Finals for the first two terms are done (I avoid three classes per day as it gets too much like a hamster wheel), and all tension finally dissipates.
Paul unwinds in the broom arena.
Lucas decided to visit a party in the frat house, which was also wrecked by mountains of dirty laundry. He did have some fun with Mahmoud, although that was mostly to finish a dare. Disappointingly, it didn't even count for the dare. Meh.
As sparse as it may look, I always had a soft spot for this room in the fraternity, probably the color scheme. Which, paradoxically, led me to use the corresponding room on the other side of the house, where I have no qualms with improving its ugliness, while I leave this one untouched.
The first time I saw Jeffrey Dean during this stay. Kids love inheriting stuff from their parents, but I guess former boyfriends of the parents are very low on the list of desirables.
Next morning, the report cards came in. Paul had invited Eddy over.
Paul obviously got second thoughts about whether it was such a good idea to invite Eddy over while his brother was here.
As an aside, I always want to say "little brother", although Lucas is the older one. Not by much though.
Anyway, I guess here the emergency brake was called for, and I sent Lucas to the bowling alley next door. The game dutifully pushed the "Lifelong Friends" household through the door right after him, which meant there was some fun to be had.
With all evidence taken care of, the brothers were whisked away home.

Your experience with Esther and then a full family certainly sounds like fun. I haven't really done much traveling to other worlds via Traveler yet. I hope my families are smaller soon, which will make this an easier option. I'm also looking forward to doing things in Egypt at some point, where I haven't done anything yet.
@Steamvarius Oh, that's quite common. You were lucky the burglar actually got arrested. Somehow, the police at my places has a bad record. Then again, the burglars usually don't make it into the house.
@Silverofdreams30 Thank you! I can imagine university getting boring quickly, especially if you play on normal lifespan, where it just takes too long in comparison. I play on epic lifespan, which means it's a rather rare occasion to get away from home, which keeps it somewhat fresh. Plus, I only started with the Sims this year.
@Brandontaylor Thank you for all the comments. NRAAS SP tends to overdramatize things, but I made sure that Hank actually left his mark on the population in my current game. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your game, whenever you feel like it again.
I don't actually use bedrooms for toddlers. They live in the dining room or the living room, and I prefer open floor plans anyway. There's always someone there to care for them, and it gets done in a rather organic way. If I feel like it, the butler may get a loft bed right next to them, although that may lead to frequent "passed out butler" syndrome.

Drake has the lucky trait. It's supposed to reduce burglaries...I guess this was not one of those burglar free nights.
Paul unwinds in the broom arena.
Lucas decided to visit a party in the frat house, which was also wrecked by mountains of dirty laundry. He did have some fun with Mahmoud, although that was mostly to finish a dare. Disappointingly, it didn't even count for the dare. Meh.
As sparse as it may look, I always had a soft spot for this room in the fraternity, probably the color scheme. Which, paradoxically, led me to use the corresponding room on the other side of the house, where I have no qualms with improving its ugliness, while I leave this one untouched.
The first time I saw Jeffrey Dean during this stay. Kids love inheriting stuff from their parents, but I guess former boyfriends of the parents are very low on the list of desirables.
Next morning, the report cards came in. Paul had invited Eddy over.
Paul obviously got second thoughts about whether it was such a good idea to invite Eddy over while his brother was here.
As an aside, I always want to say "little brother", although Lucas is the older one. Not by much though.
Anyway, I guess here the emergency brake was called for, and I sent Lucas to the bowling alley next door. The game dutifully pushed the "Lifelong Friends" household through the door right after him, which meant there was some fun to be had.
With all evidence taken care of, the brothers were whisked away home.
