Just wanted to let someone here know that I can't check my notifications since I logged in late afternoon est time zone. It's showing on the globe icon that I have two, but when I click it, all that happens is that I get sent to my profile page instead of opening it up so I can see who mentioned me or commented about something I posted. Very frustrating since I'd like to see what they wrote and possibly reply back. Thank you!
Hello
As a workaround, try going to your activities wall page, and click the notifications label on the left hand side of the page. Try seeing if you can access them that way.
Also, I just tried to bookmark this thread and it said I don't have permission to do that. So, I tried to click the cog to edit the post and add this additional problem and I can't edit my posts either.
I have Chrome on my PC as well as my tablet and still not having this issue. Maybe try to clear your browser history and/or cache from whatever device you're using to see if that helps.
I just did exactly what you suggested and restarted my computer and it's still not working. At least I can get to my notifications from my profile page. Hopefully it's just a glitch that will be fixed soon. I know I'm not the only one with this problem because I saw someone else mention it in another thread. Thanks for your help though!
Yeah, I've had a few glitches now and then on this forum, mostly just where I have to click to log in even though I have a bookmark/password saved in Chrome for it. But this is a lot more detrimental to my experience here than that. Bummer...
I'm having the exact same problems you are @Karababy52. Can't edit posts, can't like anything, and I keep getting that 'Permission is Required error page' when I try to like something. Also can't access my notifications except through the profile page. It's definitely not just you. I think the site's gone wonky for quite a few people.

@Karababy52, @ShadyLady89 - are you using the mobile or full version of the website? Also, ShadyLady89, are you also using Chrome? Could you both try using a different browser?
Hi, thanks for the heads up about this! @Karababy52, @ShadyLady89 - are you using the mobile or full version of the website? Also, ShadyLady89, are you also using Chrome? Could you both try using a different browser?
Same problem for me as well. {happened last evening shortly after 6pm EST} When trying to hit the reaction buttons (like/awesome) I get an error "Permission Problem You need to enable javascript to do that." This happens on phone and PC. My primary browser is Firefox with Google Chrome as a backup. Both browsers showed the same message. This morning it looks like it has been resolved.
It hasn't been resolved for me yet, but thanks for posting @EuphorialQueen Just noticed another problem too. When I type to @ someone, it used to bring up suggested links to choose from, now it doesn't.
I do have a smartphone, but it's an ancient one with a tiny screen, probably a first generation LG Fuel. I don't have much data, mostly use it for calls and simple text (no media plan) and the data only for emergencies. The thing is though, it's going to be the Chrome browser on that too. Do you still want me to try it?

Oh, no, please, don't use your data for this then. Thanks for offering though!
Okay, thanks. I would rather not use it if possible. Especially since I live in Michigan and it's bitterly cold here today, just like the last few days. Hubby had to use a blow torch on the garage door knob this morning because it was froze shut. I'd hate to need to go out in the garage for something and have that happen again but I can't call anyone because I used up my battery to test this issue. Otherwise I'd try it no problem.

Oh, don't worry about it, please - we will find out what's going on sooner or later

Would you have an smartphone with which you could maybe try?
At this point we think this is a different issue, but thanks for flagging it as well. Please, keep an eye on this discussion for updates on that one.
Perfect, thanks for confirming!
