I have recently found out (due to a happy accident with my cat and keyboard) while in build mode that:
a) by using < > and/or , . depending on your keyboard layout/language I believe you will rotate floor pattern you are about to put down b) pressing G while in build mode gets rid of the sometimes pesky grid :) c) CTRL + F toggles on and off diagonal shape floor tile thanks to one of my friends
I feel really stupid but after playing the Sims 4 since it came out I just recently found out that you can fill your sims needs just by clicking on the icon next to it....

If you listen closely, after they finish 'talking' there is a sound effect, it's like the 'friend' is leaving.

Anyways, have you ever wanted to use the roofing as a floor, but didn't want it to automatically fill the entire room? You can use them like normal flooring if you enable showhiddenobjects.
Did you guys know, that your Sim can talk to their plants? I think you have to be at a certain level for that, I really wasn't paying attention. But I did notice that the social meter went from red, to slowly into the yellow, then finally into the green. And if you have your Sim volunteer, that's socializing too.

Your Sims can talk to plants when they reach level 4 in gardening.
Did you guys know, that your Sim can talk to their plants? I think you have to be at a certain level for that, I really wasn't paying attention. But I did notice that the social meter went from red, to slowly into the yellow, then finally into the green. And if you have your Sim volunteer, that's socializing too.
