As I am new to the forums I did not know where to ask this. As a newbie, do I have to have a certain number of posts or something else before I can start a discussion?
Hello @PrincessMeow3349
There is usually a blue new discussion button at the top right hand side of the screen in the forum sections. But new discussion threads have been restricted for new members. You are unable to start a new thread until you become a full member. This has been brought in as a result of spambots.
You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a full member and can then post pictures, have a signature, start new threads, edit posts , post links that show up correctly and change your profile picture. This thread explains about it. http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/770609/member-or-new-member-everything-you-need-to-know
Hi, I am also new to the forum, and was hoping someone could send me in the right direction for a PC discussion. I am looking to purchase a desktop but have no knowledge of computer hardware and was hoping I could receive help here! Thank you, Danielle. C

Hello @DanielleDenee Welcome to the forums!
Because you are a new member, you are unable to start a new thread, but you can instead post on a thread that another simmer has started in the Sims 4 Tech section that Simfan923 linked to.
Sims dance differently depending on their mood. I Saw a flirty sim dancing, and they were doing a little hip sway, and another sim who was sad was just moving their arms around.
:D :D I wish the sims4 have a update for some general function! some thing like the sims can choose their favorite food, favorite song and hair type!(and others subjects)!just like sims3 can did! that will be more perfect for this game!
This has so many comments, so I'm not sure if it's been already mentioned.
But! I found out yesterday, that you can turn automatic kitchen counters off, which will allow you to create even more amazing kitchens. For example, you can stick corner pieces of upper and lower counters anywhere, have glassware cabinets where ever you like and have the tiny upper-counter pieces set anywhere. :) It can be toggled off: choose a counter/cabinet you like, choose the "color menu" and there should be something like "automatic counters on", which you can change to off. :)
@Chizu93 Welcome and yes you can do a whole lot with the counters you can also make different shapes of your counter islands. There are many thing which you can do in Sims 4.
I didn't know that the toddler whimpering cry to wake up their parents won't disrupt a vampire out of hibernation. The toddler tried it 4 straight times to her vampire dad and then a couple of times to her vampire mom and they stayed in hibernation the whole time.
did you know, when you click on a dance machine sim while they are at a bar/nightclub/lounge they have an interaction called (party time!) which can make them energised. It is funny to watch
My Sim was in the bath tub and I was queuing up some interactions for him to do afterward with his upset toddler. When I hovered over the "hug" option it said that the Sim couldn't do that while not wearing any clothes.
I just only found out about the different types of showers your sim can have and how they can change their emotions XD I also just found out that if you have your sim read a book for too long they will become bored. (Everyone probably knows about this and I’m just a sims 4 noobie :3)

The first time I saw that!
Male sims will stand to pee if you send them to the toilet before the bladder need indicator turns yellow.
That's something I got know from another thread, but I think it's worth mentioning here as well.
The big plushy bat from Vampires GP doesn't have a reflection, just like Sim vampires - pretty neat detail

I don't know if it's already been mentioned, probably it has, but a couple of days ago, I noticed something exceptionally useful when I was building a house I wanted to make for the C&D EP. When you click on an object in the normal Build/Buy Mode category, there's a little number there, which is indicative of the number of these items you already own in the household. So neat! It's such a shame I hadn't noticed it before!

Can you post a screenshot of this? I'm not too sure where to look for this little number.
I really don't think it matter much if something has been mentioned before since it might help someone else after all 202 pages are an awful lot of pages to have to look through , so please feel free to mention again .
