Um, that was a Standard Poodle! (Poodle person here )
I assume there will also be a toy poodle in the pack too. Poor miniature poodles so often overlooked.
Ohhhh! Great thanks so much for correcting me! Yes I have to admit I forgot about the Mini Poodles as I am not a small dog fan so to speak but love all dogs
Where abouts in the trailer did you see an English plum Spaniel? That's what my dog is irl and I misses them in the trailer
Just after the wedding when the Corgi is walking towards the gate, the person leaning down to the dog letting it sniff her hand, looks like a English Cocker Spaniel to me but might not be haha - Please do correct me if you dont think that is a Cocker Spaniel and I will fix it!!

I just re-watched it and I think you're right! It looks like one to me. Adorable!
Hi! I would like to believe that the last dog in this image is a shih tzu because the nose is short (and because I also have a shih tzu, lol). The tail is wrong but the face makes me think this.

I hope we will have long haired chihuahuas! I'd love to see them with a realistic fur length. As well as bichon frise, Chinese crested, shar pei, old English sheepdog and many more. I don't think any of those are confirmed yet but fingers crossed they will make it in. (Or a realistic way to make them hopefully)
Great thread! Thank you for compiling the confirmed breeds

YES!! Long haired chihuahuas always get left out! And all those other dogs! I would love to see an english sheepdog!!
I will probably give my sim family a male poodle because it is the closest to what I have irl. His name is Toby and he is a mixed of maltese and poodle (maltipoo)
Remember that we'll be able to mix and match features, so even if some breeds aren't there directly we'll probably be able to construct them, just like people plan to construct wolves out of Husky and German Shepard parts, and the CAP has been used to make foxes and raccoons as well.
Other breeds are a matter of the right colour coat, or the right ears or tail, and it's clear that people will make mongrels. So if you have a mix of Maltese and Poodle... you can probably make it!
I don't see Dalmatians yet, but I have high expectations that they'll be present. I'm hoping for a Doberman myself. But ultimately I think we can expect to see everything from Sims 3, and more.
I'm almost certain that I can see a Cocker Spaniel at one point - it would be the one the little dress-up dog is running towards.

Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
So happy about the Afghans and Huskies! Has anyone seen an Old English Sheepdog or a Collie?

@luthienrising The dog with the bandana looked like a collie type to me but I'm unsure about that. I mean, I called the dog with the red vest a GSD when it was a husky so I kind of lost confidence in my dog breed identification skills!

Definitely will add it and someone will correct me eventually! Looks like a Shih Tzu to me too and the tail could be curved around the body possibly??
I hope so! If not we could use the shiba inu tail possibly (I'm sure they'll include that dog, haha!)
