I've never really cared about toddlers. I get bored of them and age them up quickly. But given how 4 costs £40 for the base game alone and I can't buy it second hand, I expect toddlers. It's just polite.
That's my opinion as well actually. Or well, I do like toddlers, that's not it, but I care far less about them than others. Still, they should really just either put them in the game or officially announce that they'll never be in the game. That is, indeed, just the polite thing to do.
Toby has started at a new school. He is put in the same class as Tim but a different class to Sara and Tommy.
In his own class Tim would rather hang out with the 'cool guys'
Sara and Tommy have been put with their friends Marsha and Harvey and Toby feels left out.
Tim accuses Toby of following him around all the time and would rather not be seen with someone who dresses in bright orange!
Luckily Sara says that Toby can still hang out with her class at break times.
Toby is also still friend with Tommy but he does get envious at how close Tommy and Sara are
Eventually it is time for the kids to age up.
Tim ages up first and wants to learn to drive
Next Sara ages up.
She has become an attractive teenager
Finally Toby ages up
He just wants to be a cool teenager and find a girlfriend.
Toby and Tim get along better as teenagers but Tim is not impressed that Toby copied him and brought a similar jacket to him (you can tell that Generations had just been released at the time)
Tommy has also aged up and of course Toby still worries about how close him and Sara are.
Tim gets a girlfriend named Brittany Caliente who is Dina's daughter and the Queen Bee at their school.
Sara and Tommy only ever have a couple of relationships with people at first while Toby remains single. Both boys become envious when Sara has a new boyfriend named Calvin however.
Calvin causes arguments however and upsets Sara.
Marsha is not keen on Calvin either and tries to warn Sara off of him as she overhears rumours that he is still seeing his ex.
Even Tim gives him a stern warning not to mess Sara around.
Meanwhile Tommy gets a new girlfriend named Nikki, a name which I have later recycled.
He is not sure if he can trust her though as he has heard that she has had a lot of boyfriends and he hasn't been with many girls.
Calvin has been seen with his ex girlfriend named Latosha outside of his house!
Where they flirting?
Sara is upset as Calvin is ignoring her again and not replying to her text messages. Brittany decides to do some investigating. Dispite being the Queen Bee she actually likes Sara as Sara made her a birthday car for Tim to give her.
Brittany suggests to Sara to pretend that she is at work one day and see if she can catch Calvin out.
Sure enough Calvin is seen walking past the house when he is also supposed to be at work. Where is he going?
Interestingly Latosha only lives up the road as well...

Still no joy. Will be going back down to basics again. I'll have to play for longer periods between reintegrations, so it'll take forever.
Also, out of desperation (and curiosity) I tried to load up Sims 4 again last night, an couldn't get any of my houses to load. I'm kind of going through withdrawals.
One day without checking the forum and POW! so many posts. Love it. I'll try to catch up in a bit. I did spend time in Lost Cove last night. Needed to place some lots. I put down several from the Lost Cove creators, with some modification.
Right now, I'll just share the main change to that game. There is only one short road in Lost Cove, so cars are pretty useless. I decided Bebhinn and Emad needed horses. They both got wishes to buy a horse too. Bebhinn is an Equestrian--not sure what Emad was thinking, wanting a horse. They didn't have much money, so I made them sell the VFN Kompensator Emad had in his inventory, worth over $32,000.
Anyway, I placed a Horse Ranch lot in the world and used the rabbit hole replacement doors to add an Equestrian Center to that lot. It's the first time I've tried the doors and they worked perfectly.
The small building is the rabbit hole. I made it separate from the main barn.
I left the 1st floor of the barn pretty bare so horses could move around in there ok. I might add something else later. In the back, are two staircases and two All-In-Ones.
Upstairs is a snack bar, two serve-yourself juice bars, and seating.
I also needed to add a small barn on the home lot. It's not very big because the lot doesn't have much room for horses.
Emad upgraded the trough to auto-filling.
The upstairs loft has hay storage and a small garden area. Yes, they're growing WonderPetals.
The Equestrian Center doors worked fine when they bought their horses. This is Luna. She's Agile and Brave.
Sorry it's dark, but this is Shade. He's Agile and Aggressive.
I wonder what's on Shade's mind.
I've never had an Aggressive horse before. I'm trying different things in my game now. An aggressive horse seemed perfect for Emad.

Today is mostly Billy, Luke, Sophia (and a few new characters )...
Luke switched from being a cop to being a doctor, I changed him back right after this little stunt! He convinced Luke to try an experimental medicine....(and Luke being the trusting fool he is took it).
Um, Luke your Butt is on fire!!
Got him to put himself out quickly!
Not amusing Billy!!
Billy would not leave Sophia alone, he was always trying to hug her and kiss her, Sophia had seen this behavior before over the years whenever Billy was between girlfriends. Billy seemed to think that because Sophia was his girlfriend 8 years ago the invite was still open. Usually a huge fight would happen and Luke would have to diffuse the situation, he was the only one that could calm his two hotheaded friends.
Billy went to the park to calm down, the kissing booth was a happy distraction!
Later that night things heated up again and luckily Luke was there to stop the massive fight that would have broken out.

Billy went to find someone to talk to, he picked Tamara, who ironically looks almost like Sophia's twin!

In another part of town that same night, Iqbal Alvi was having a fun time dancing with two newcomers to town, the Trampington sisters, Tiffinee and Amber, they had just moved into Sunset after 7 years of college.
These two lovely ladies were always hanging *literally* around Billy in High School, they moved back to town to teach at the elementary school. This was what they wore to their job interviews, seriously who would hire these two?!?
Amber and Tiffinee decided to look up Billy their old friend with benefits to see if some fun could be found, they had kept tabs on him and knew he was living in Sunset. Sophia and Luke loathe these two, Billy knows it but was a bit desperate for companionship.
Billy invited the pair over and no time was wasted!
Luke kicked the pair out while Billy was in the kitchen, so Billy decided to go over their house later that night. Amber (I think)...they are twins I can't tell them apart answered the door, she was immediately given flowers and flattery.
Things progressed....
Then Luke called and said the stove was on fire and Billy needed to get home quick thus ruining Billy's evening. ***The stove was not on fire, Luke was just trying to save Billy from making a huge mistake or mistakes (if both girls were home!). Billy would be extreamly mad when he got home but Luke would deal with that.
Amber called Billy a little while later to ask if he was okay. He said yes and rather abruptly hung up on her.

A lot has been happening in my game, but I haven't been uploading any pictures recently. I went back to the Mer family and have had a blast with them. The other family I was trying to continue with just isn't as fun. I'm not sure why-- they are both legacy descendants and I play them similar ways. Anyway, without further ado, my (long) update:
December Mer stood in front of a birthday cake with her mother Finalia, Uncle Tribus, Auntie Vivienne, and brother Eleven all cheering her on.
She made a wish, blew out the candles, and grew into a pretty girl with a knack for martial arts, just like her Auntie Vivi.
It was also Eleven's birthday, except he would be a Young Adult that day.
Being a brave, eccentric young man, Eleven became a Paranormal Investigator.
He threw himself into the profession, with the LTW to be a Paranormal Profiteer.
Vivienne became a Rock Star, and decided to retire to enjoy the last bit of her golden years.
It wasn't long, unfortunately, before Finalia passed away. She was grateful that her brother Tribus and sister Vivienne would still be alive to guide her children into their adult years. She shook hands with Grim and went to the Underworld without a fight.
Still feeling her mother's presence, it was December's turn to become a young adult.
December was a beautiful woman, but developed a mean streak as an adult.
Her perceptive nature made her want to be a Pervasive Private Eye, and she put all her efforts into her profession.
It wasn't long before Vivienne joined her older sister Finalia in the afterlife. While most of the family showed their grief through sadness...
...December got angry.
Eleven reached his LTW quickly, and he decided he needed to get away from the chaos at home. So he went to Shang Simla and went about wooing a young merchant named Ling Lu.
The innocent young pair were head over heels for each other. Eleven promised to invite Ling for a visit as soon as he got home.
He didn't hesitate in asking for her hand in marriage. The two were wed that same day.
The lovely Ling joined the family with a LTW to be a Forensic Specialist, and Eleven admired her even more for her work ethic. Her career would have to wait a little while though, because she discovered she was pregnant.
Their baby was born, and the whole family was so overjoyed that they decided to name him Revel.
Eleven was a proud, if terrified, new dad.
Meanwhile, December achieved her LTW and celebrated becoming a successful private eye.
She decided on a vacation to Champs Les Sims, staying in the castle that her mother had bought when she was an explorer.
December fought her mean streak long enough to befriend some locals, as well as fellow travelers.
She also had a fling with a merchant named Philippe Durand. When she left Champs Les Sims, December made no promises to stay in touch. But Philippe was a good man, and she was happy about her first love.
When December returned home, she realized that just like her mother, she was pregnant with a foreign sim's baby.
Her friend Lao Kim, the alien she met in Champs Les Sims, came to visit and celebrate the pregnancy with her.
Lao got along well with everyone in the family, and though she couldn't move in with them right away, they hoped she would someday agree to move to Twinbrook with them.
Time passed, and Revel grew into a young artist with a penchant for jokes.
Eleven and Ling were proud parents.
December devoted herself to her son Riddle.
Revel grew into a Dramatic teenager, and he decided to work toward becoming an Illustrious Author.
Riddle got close to his imaginary friend, who came with the name Puzzle (Not kidding, that is her name. Don't usually play IFs, but their names were too perfect together. So I decided to have him actually bond with her.)
Eleven and December finally persuaded their friend Lao to move in with them. She took a job in the Athletic career and bonded well with the family.
Riddle grew up to be an Artistic, Eccentric boy with a love of nature. So far, December noticed he didn't look much like Pierre. But she hoped someday the two would meet.
Eleven's birthday came around, and he wasn't very happy with the results.
December thought Riddle might be a little unstable, and prayed it wasn't because of Pierre's absence. She hoped that having Uncle Eleven around would be enough.
Revel and Lao developed a good friendship.
And things in the Mer family were as normal as ever.

Pablo and Jennifer Martinez, a couple from the game's library bin. I tweaked them just a bit and used them to test the world at first. They live across the street from the 🐸🐸🐸🐸 park.
The two of them rushed over right after the park was placed, and I found them there. They both have the Loves the Outdoors trait, I think.
Here's the Ancient Pool. It was originally an outdoor pool, but I enclosed it because of Seasons.
There are a couple of boulders underwater in the corners of the pool.
Two minions found the pool one night.
BTW, there are only 7 residents in Lost Cove right now: Bebhinn, Emad, the 3 minions, and the Martinez couple. The rest are service sims, a couple of paparazzi, and a few tourists.
I need to put down a Base Camp, but the service sims all live in the apartment cabin I made.

This area is public. The call box and mailboxes are located here.
Upstairs is another small public area. The two doors lead to hidden NPC apartments where the service sims live.
The apartment is next door to the Faraz home. Several nights, I heard an alien space ship. Finally got a screenshot. There are 3 aliens living in a hidden NPC apartment. I guess they leave from it to do their nightly scans and abductions!

Speaking of animals, Josefin's family have a bird feeder and the peeps are pretty tame. Little Susanne and Jessica love the peeps, and who could blame them? Not sure what species it is that Susanne is holding, but it may be a Bluebell. No wait... I think I know what species it is, but the forum might censor the name.

Eli did a small painting while Ami was studying until noon.
They got ready for work and were leaving by 2PM.
It was 7:30 in the evening when they got home and started getting ready for bed.
They were in bed by 8:30 that night.

A lot has been happening in my game, but I haven't been uploading any pictures recently. I went back to the Mer family and have had a blast with them. The other family I was trying to continue with just isn't as fun. I'm not sure why-- they are both legacy descendants and I play them similar ways.
December Mer stood in front of a birthday cake with her mother Finalia, Uncle Tribus, Auntie Vivienne, and brother Eleven all cheering her on.
She made a wish, blew out the candles, and grew into a pretty girl with a knack for martial arts, just like her Auntie Vivi.
It was also Eleven's birthday, except he would be a Young Adult that day.
Being a brave, eccentric young man, Eleven became a Paranormal Investigator.
He threw himself into the profession, with the LTW to be a Paranormal Profiteer.
Vivienne became a Rock Star, and decided to retire to enjoy the last bit of her golden years.
It wasn't long, unfortunately, before Finalia passed away. She was grateful that her brother Tribus and sister Vivienne would still be alive to guide her children into their adult years. She shook hands with Grim and went to the Underworld without a fight.
Still feeling her mother's presence, it was December's turn to become a young adult.
December was a beautiful woman, but developed a mean streak as an adult.
Her perceptive nature made her want to be a Pervasive Private Eye, and she put all her efforts into her profession.
It wasn't long before Vivienne joined her older sister Finalia in the afterlife. While most of the family showed their grief through sadness...
...December got angry.
Eleven reached his LTW quickly, and he decided he needed to get away from the chaos at home. So he went to Shang Simla and went about wooing a young merchant named Ling Lu.
The innocent young pair were head over heels for each other. Eleven promised to invite Ling for a visit as soon as he got home.
He didn't hesitate in asking for her hand in marriage. The two were wed that same day.
The lovely Ling joined the family with a LTW to be a Forensic Specialist, and Eleven admired her even more for her work ethic. Her career would have to wait a little while though, because she discovered she was pregnant.
Their baby was born, and the whole family was so overjoyed that they decided to name him Revel.
Eleven was a proud, if terrified, new dad.
Meanwhile, December achieved her LTW and celebrated becoming a successful private eye.
She decided on a vacation to Champs Les Sims, staying in the castle that her mother had bought when she was an explorer.
December fought her mean streak long enough to befriend some locals, as well as fellow travelers.
She also had a fling with a merchant named Philippe Durand. When she left Champs Les Sims, December made no promises to stay in touch. But Philippe was a good man, and she was happy about her first love.
When December returned home, she realized that just like her mother, she was pregnant with a foreign sim's baby.
Her friend Lao Kim, the alien she met in Champs Les Sims, came to visit and celebrate the pregnancy with her.
Lao got along well with everyone in the family, and though she couldn't move in with them right away, they hoped she would someday agree to move to Twinbrook with them.
Time passed, and Revel grew into a young artist with a penchant for jokes.
Eleven and Ling were proud parents.
December devoted herself to her son Riddle.
Revel grew into a Dramatic teenager, and he decided to work toward becoming an Illustrious Author.
Riddle got close to his imaginary friend, who came with the name Puzzle (Not kidding, that is her name. Don't usually play IFs, but their names were too perfect together. So I decided to have him actually bond with her.)
Eleven and December finally persuaded their friend Lao to move in with them. She took a job in the Athletic career and bonded well with the family.
Riddle grew up to be an Artistic, Eccentric boy with a love of nature. So far, December noticed he didn't look much like Pierre. But she hoped someday the two would meet.
Eleven's birthday came around, and he wasn't very happy with the results.
December thought Riddle might be a little unstable, and prayed it wasn't because of Pierre's absence. She hoped that having Uncle Eleven around would be enough.
Revel and Lao developed a good friendship.
And things in the Mer family were as normal as ever.
An old All Night Diner.

Some of these pictures were taken during a full moon, so the color is a little intense.
This is a small park, Freshly Market, with the harvest carts.
A park with the 🐸🐸🐸🐸 wagon, Eyes of Irma. It's close to the Faraz home.
Pablo and Jennifer Martinez, a couple from the game's library bin. I tweaked them just a bit and used them to test the world at first. They live across the street from the 🐸🐸🐸🐸 park.
The two of them rushed over right after the park was placed, and I found them there. They both have the Loves the Outdoors trait, I think.
Here's the Ancient Pool. It was originally an outdoor pool, but I enclosed it because of Seasons.
There are a couple of boulders underwater in the corners of the pool.
Two minions found the pool one night.
BTW, there are only 7 residents in Lost Cove right now: Bebhinn, Emad, the 3 minions, and the Martinez couple. The rest are service sims, a couple of paparazzi, and a few tourists.
I need to put down a Base Camp, but the service sims all live in the apartment cabin I made.

This area is public. The call box and mailboxes are located here.
Upstairs is another small public area. The two doors lead to hidden NPC apartments where the service sims live.
The apartment is next door to the Faraz home. Several nights, I heard an alien space ship. Finally got a screenshot. There are 3 aliens living in a hidden NPC apartment. I guess they leave from it to do their nightly scans and abductions!

Speaking of animals, Josefin's family have a bird feeder and the peeps are pretty tame. Little Susanne and Jessica love the peeps, and who could blame them?

@Charlottesmom -Thanks for the comment.I have the ITTF soil rugs and the garden is in the greenhouse.I give my babies 60 days before aging them into toddlers and the toddlers get 120 days before being aged up because I have to get a chance to play them at least enough to learn the toddler skills before aging up and I actually play rotationally like Sims 2.Great update!

Here's my update below.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up late and got a late start on getting ready for the day before doing the chores.
Eli did a small painting while Ami was studying until noon.
They got ready for work and were leaving by 2PM.
It was 7:30 in the evening when they got home and started getting ready for bed.
They were in bed by 8:30 that night.
("And I said to him: "d.ckybird, why do you sit, singing willow, titwillow, titwillow..."")
Anyway, I'm enjoying everyone's pictures. I love this thread, but I'm always so late replying that I'd need three *pages* to list everyone.
In my own game, the Alto family of Lunar Lakes had a little girl.
So far she looks surprisingly cute - and fortunately not at ALL like her brother.
So the thing is,I kinda sorta umm,made you a going away present to aid in your travels cause no Sim should travel unprepared

@lanlyn , your update showing your apartment cabin inspired me to add an apartment building for service sims to live in to every world. I didn't know aliens could use these apartments too. It would be awesome to see an alien return home in the morning after a night spent stalking some sims!

We don't have bluejays here, so at first I thought it was a t*t of some kind.
And that toddler is cute! I would like the toddlers more if they could keep quiet sometimes.
