Dazed and Confused. I was really looking forward to it but to be honest I found it a bit dull.

    Sherlock: The Abominable Bride

Why did I wait so much to watch it? Awesome movie, awesome. I was expecting it to be just a bonus from the series, it's way more.

Curtains, a Canadian horror movies from 1983. I got a positive surprise, I thought it would be pretty good but... Ya know... Good for a person like me, who isn't hard to please when it comes to such films, who likes campy and cheesy horror. I've been botanizing quite a lot when it comes to such flicks from the 80s (as proven by quite a lot of movies I've mentioned here recently), but this one was actually... good for real. Good-good. Different. Not just the regular 80s slasher film (it didn't even exactly feel like one, more "elements of it"). I liked the plot. I liked the characters - it's so refreshing watching a movie like this and just feel that "It doesn't matter who dies, I'll feel a bit sad whoever it is". Loved the setting. I really liked the double-twist.

    ...

Or perhaps it wasn't so good. Perhaps it's me again. Easy to satisfy.

    Cabin Fever (2016)
    Cabin+Fever+2016.jpg?format=300w
Nearly pure replica from the original!
Nothing amazing or surprising in it :unamused:
but if for some weird reason you haven't seen
the original then it just maybe... MAYBE!
would be a worth of "something"
    anyways 4/10

I guess it's just riding with name for the incomes...
I feel sad for those who have paid to see it! :smirk:

You're Next. Home invasion movie. Not really my thing, but I heard a lot of people talk about it, so I thought "why not". My reactions were pretty much:
    Meh.
    Meh.
    The heck.
    Meh.
Oh nooo, that's sad. *gets too sad, pauses*
    Meh.
    Meh.
    Haha.
    HAHA!
    Meh.
    Meh.
    Zzzzz.
    Zzzzz.
    Meh.
    Zzzz.
    Haha!
    Oh.
    HAHA!

In the Heart of the Sea

Hemsworth's accent is slipperier than a wet squid. Is he meant to be an aussie? Is he meant to be a yank? Idk.
Not a bad movie though, if you're ok with whale innards, and stories of... well, I won't tell you that. It's not for the squeamish.

    The Vampire Bat (1933)

    the-vampire-bat-movie-poster-1933-1020429846.jpg

I'm watching some public domain (Supposedly) DVDs that my sister bought me when she was younger. She knew I liked Godzilla and Gamera so she bought me a compilation called "Monsters", although "The Vampire Bat" doesn't even have a vampire in it. Just some weird heart thing that a scientist is feeding blood from corpses. Was a bit intriguing though in the beginning.

I have no memory of this place. Time to start anew I guess

@Movotti Just ended watching that (In the Heart of the Sea) and i actually liked it a lot! :) maybe it boosted liking it because of the few GoT actors/actress in it  but anyway... thanks for the idea i guess! :smirk: it was worth it!

AHA! :joy: You got me incredibly confused there. "Is it a reaction to another film, or... what...?" xD

Entertaining one for sure, at least in my opinion. Me and my dad always used to watch it when I was 14-15.

    1401643.jpg
    Well hmm... eh... oh...
Maybe i'm totally wrong and unqualified
person to judge and rate this movie
    because everything that includes hockey
in it "gets me totally off" :#

    Okay some criticism also!!

I hate to admit this, it was Epic Movie, mostly because it was 3am and we didn't want to watch more House just yet.

Wish I'd answered this yesterday instead :P

Lots and lots of scary movies: I had 3 spanish boys over for a long weekend at our school (it's a prep school, they're internationals and I'm a day student) and we watched horror movies all night! :naughty:

One of the movies, which I'll rate, was The Taking of Deborah Logan which was a re-watch for me... I've actually seen it too many times to count! I'll rate it a 3, because the acting was less than amazing, but the plot and story was awesome (although disgusting and disturbing).

isn't that gif of yours a little racy for this website? :P I've seen that James' film, was a fan of his a while ago.

The Taking of Deborah Logan was pretty good yeah. The head eating part was disturbing :D
