@Pebblycat and @Zita1966z I can confirm the price was under 75k I actually put the prices next to my scores to make sure I checked everyone was under the budget and had down for @Pebblycat 74,920.
Sorry hun sometimes mishaps happen we have so many to look at and judge sometimes getting every detail is hard, but we try our best
@Pebblycat I'll hace to take a look at my notes but I totally believe you about the budget, maybe it was me messing up. There was no restriction for the mill but I was startled when I placed it on another lot (same size) that the value of the lot changed. Maybe it was that bug?
74920 in the info when I pick it up on the gallery, 76.000 something after being put down. Strange.
Its not the value of the lot you want to look at @MorriSan its the price on the gallery, the lot value includes the price of the lot itself so it will always be more expensive.
Wow, I can' believe I won, all the mills were really great!! This was a really fun challenge, I loved renovating the mill! Thanks to the judges, I'm so happy! and congrats to @Oliana too! About the critique, I put the monkey bars there for visiting grandkids to have fun or something like that! Thanks again to the judges @Zita1966z, @cbear13, @lisa17ann and @mommataurus2 this made my day!
Congratulations to everyone on a job well done, and particularly to @Oliana and @vethesims for getting to the head of the class!
For myself, the bit with the stairs is indeed mysterious, especially since the only cheat I used was the resizing for the truck in front. Everything else should be kosher, cricket, according to Hoyle and according to Cocker, and things shouldn't go pear-shaped when you don't push any envelopes. I'm still smarting a bit from the realisation that I'd forgotten to put handrails on the stairs, though, so maybe it was Fate.
Also, and quite apart from the judging: I was a little sad that light does not apparently filter from one floor to the next. In the picture of the kitchen, it looks as if the upper part of the double-height room (technically a floorless upstairs room) is a sort of shadowy violet colour, in contrast with the white of the lower; in fact, they are both the same white. Is this just a function of my graphic settings?

@Xinqun Loved your build To answer the question above, when you get that violet color it means one of 2 things, either an object is sticking through the wall to the outside or somewhere the walls/rails do not meet up and the ceiling is therefore interrupted. I know this because it has happened a lot with me hehehe Mostly because I forget to close my railing somewhere. It should be easy fixable though.
Ah, well, I know exactly where the railing isn't closed. There's a bit left open for the (disappearing) stair to go through. I'll have to experiment and try to find a workaround.
Thanks, @Zita1966z ! I was able to do this one because I unexpectedly got the day off on Thursday. We'll see how things work out for the next challenge.
(I had this idea, though ... what if someone came in with a lot of furniture, but no house? Kind of like a reverse-reno....)
Congratulations to @vethesims and @oliana ! I heartily agree! I downloaded all of them since everyone's was so good! Am using many of these in my games!
Thank you for the helpful comments! I didn't think I had a chance to place!
Congrats to Our winners! So well deserved! @vethesims your reaction is adorable lol And, @MorriSan I didn't want to be a judge on this challenge half the time hahaha!! Since I've started judging my anxiety is through the roof...*nervous laughter*

And @pammiechick congratulations to you too for the second place, your mill turned out great, really beautiful!
THanks a ton for the feedback, it didn't even occur to me about the microwave/milk bottle thingy, but I will know for future :)
