I have been expanding my sims family for quite some time. It spans at least 5 generations going on 6. I have been writing down all the family members and their relationships on a piece of paper just in case I decided to move some of my sims into a new neighborhood. When I went to check up on some of my sims relatives their Aunt/ Great Aunt's children have disappeared. And it does not draw a line from her to her mother. I don't know if this is normal but when one spouse dies it cuts ties from the other spouse. But when you go to the offspring's icon, it still shows the parents as if they are still connected. I hope this makes sense. I am not using an custom content. I have Island Paradise. I am playing an existing game. They are a mixture between created sims that I made and pre-made sims (a lot or either maids or butlers). I am playing in Appaloosa Plains. I believe I am using Windows 7. The games are the download versions on Origin. I believe I am reporting for the Home-World.

also note Island Paradise has so many bugs it could be causing the trouble your having.
delete your SimCompositor Cache file
then restart Game

To start I've got all EPs/SPs but Katy Perry's Sweet Treats. Updated.

Isla Paradiso is where my Sim lives.
I have her working the lifeguard career and the first day I sent her to work I had her sit in the lifeguard chair and she sat IN the chair. As in she clipped through the tall chair to sit at normal chair height.
Also her career outfit included the socks she was wearing which looks ridiculous. :roll:
Might want to include a npc lifeguard to help with the multiple rescues. By the end of her first day two people started drowning and she could only help one of them. The other wanted to slap me, but never got the chance as I was still being thanked by the other Sim I had rescued and the other timed out. If I was slapped I'd let the @#%*! drown the next time I could. :twisted:
I made an island home and the terrain paint was shale rocks and grass, but as you can see from the picture it still looks like water, in the day its ok but when snow is down and its night this is what happens, no idea about the summer yet as its winter at the moment.
Daytime - summer, so it must be an issue with the snow?
Game Crashed while building a dock on a residential home lot:!:Why would anyone release Island Paradise with all these bugs.
That actually happened to me a couple of nights ago. Also last night I was playing in Sunset Valley and I tried to have a couple look at stars on the beach and it would keep resetting. They could do it on the home lot but not the community lot. My sims have been able to do that interaction at Old Pier Beach before. Don't know it this was just a glitch or a bug that was caused by patch 1.55.
2 of my sims are at Uni and one of them will not stop running, even cleaning up dishes and the kitchen is right next door or even just to chat to someone like a meter away. This is really annoying and I can't move my sims out and back in again because I am in the Uni world. I have also tried lifting the dorm and placing it again but my sim is still running everywhere.

I placed the stereo, here there and everywhere, same result. I tried the same stereo on a land home lot and no problems at all.

idk if any ones posted this yet but im haveing trouble with my house boat i use cc i playing in a ea world but i have my game up and there regular sims not mermaids or owning a resort(one out of those two is my problem)idk wich one of them it is but my currnt family like i said dosent own a resort or they arent mermaids and i have the problem when it one of those two out by a dive spot or so can you please give me an awnser ill keep searching and testing
I have no mods but plenty of trouble running Island Paradise neighborhood. Some of the trouble I guess is bad connection to the features I installed with other Towns such as the life dwell from Hidden Springs - or worse: the mudtub from Sunlit Tides - or perhaps prolonging lives with the "Young Again" elixir in the life time rewards. All of the sudden sims stop aging, and I have to move them to another neighborhood to make them "grow" Again. It ruins my game.

I can't see on image, which stereo is using yours sim. I know, that some stereos from Store were causing routing issues and sims have had "impossible get here" cloud, when searching to upgrade it or repair it. Mod The Sims member Omegastarr82 have made fixes for stereoDockTMobile and stereoSurfaceMidCPop (and another store items).
I can't give you link, because now www.modthesims.info gives me the offline status.

Sorry for editing my comments frequently, in most cases I'm doing this due language issues (english isn't my native language, but I'm using english, because most used by people, with who I want to communicate).
I've had another issue recently and will bring one more that still exists since Seasons. Both IP and patch, Overwatch, Error Trap and Woohooer. New family created after IP and patch installed. No family used was moved from another neighbourhood, all occurred in their home world.
1. (All worlds so far) I've had an issue with my sims 'grouping' and transport to and from an event. Whenever I sent two parents and a child or children to a location, once they get there, the parents are immediately on a date with swirling red hearts, dropping the children or child out of the group. So that when I select for everyone to go home, the parents leave and force the child/children to make their own way home.
2. (Aurora Skies) One of my sims has a car as her preferred vehicle, while her partner has a broom. I sent them to their wedding location, using her so that they would take the car. When it came to sending them home, I selected to send them both home and he got the 'follow the leader' order but just took off on his broom. She got in her car and sat there waiting for him to return from home (which he had already reached) on his broom to reach the car. Once he was in the car, they repeatedly kept stopping and getting out of the vehicle dropping the go home order. I finally had to teleport them to their house before they dropped on the street from exhaustion.
3. (All worlds) The game is still crashing in build/buy mode, usually on the second storey. It doesn't happen all the time, usually when a certain item of wall decor or a wall television is selected. In Isla Paradiso, where I have weather set only to Spring and Summer, I was remodeling my sims house to give her a child's bedroom upstairs, rather than the bedroom that was currently there for her former roommate. The game crashed when I selected a cork board from the University EP. When I loaded the game again, I remodeled again, saving periodically and again chose the cork board and the game crashed. When I loaded it again, I didn't use the cork board, finished remodeling the room but I could no longer play with the household. The game began to crash constantly, even when I attempted to move her away from the house. My guess is that something corrupted either my sim, the lot or the entire save file when the game crashed while I was building. There were never any holiday lights on the houses when this occurred and I ensured I wasn't attempting to build during Winter. The building goes fine until I select a piece of wall art or something else to put on the wall.
4. (All worlds) Sims are still occassionally walking around in their naked outfit after taking a shower. My sims roommate did this for an entire day and as I couldn't control him in any way, he remained completely naked for the entire day until he took a shower again.
5. (Isla Paradiso) Possibly not a glitch. My sim finished school and I sent him to university. He came home from his first term and was home for a few days. When he returned after his final term, with his degree, his younger sister turned into a young adult. He got the graduate at City Hall order and attended graduation with his younger sister, after he had received his university degree. He didn't get the order to graduate when he was home after his first term. He was sent to university very shortly after turning into a young adult, but not immediately after turning into a young adult.

I have my stereos resetting - IP, Fireisland, EA lot 50x50 (wall speaker and this gramofone from SN), but no routing issues, sim is normally using it. I have only to make it on and change music channel each time, when he finish with athletic at home.

All EPs except Uni, Ambitions and Generations. I've removed all CC and all mods, I've cleaned every corner of my computer from defrag to registry. I've even uninstalled all EPs and the base game then tested with the base game alone. And yes. I tried bypassing the launcher and cleaning .tmp file out of DCCache but the game refuses to comply. My problem: I can't enter any household, I'll move in a family then try clicking the green check mark but it turns gray and I'm forced to just quit or quietly stare at multiple households, all of which don't work.
About 2 weeks ago, I could just delete all .tmp files and the game would work fine but as of late, no matter how much I delete I just can't play. I'll be out close to $400 if EA can't get a hold of this mess with IP.

1.when in CAS my female eye makeup kept changing constantly (and yes i did have the lock make up on for all outfits so as i did not want it to change), UpDate,eye make up also is changing when a sim gets in and out of water such as shower or pool it also changes when i tell sims to change clothes.
2.there is aparently an uncharterd island marker thats should be showing up in the game in buy debug so if we want to create our own city/island with hidden island we can but it's not showing up in the game, it dose however show up in CAW.UpDate the uncharterd island maker is showing up in edit town mode under landmarks, this is a feature i'd really like to see.
3. new bug sims stand near shower or bath taking forever to get in, they also take long to change clothes to go to work.
4. flooring is looking glitchy when in create a style it randomly go partly invisible and it look as if clrt-f is being pressed for a short moment.
5.game play seems real slow and choppy (i don't have any hacks or mods, just store content.)never had any mods or hacks just store content, also i'm playing in islo paradisa.
6.saving takes a long time (i've close as many back round task as possible nothing else but the game is running). my OS is windows 7 playing from a disk bought at the store.my patch is 1.55.4.022017
7.speed 4 dose not work on speed 4 is as if only speed 1 is working.
8.donations do not change they stay the same even if i donate to both avalible causes on the mail box.
9.when the game is first loading it takes a long time to load up and come into play.

I'm not a expert but this usually used to work for me (lol see above post): What I've always done is copy my downloads and saves folder onto my desktop, then re-install the games (it gives a option as to whether or not you want to save old files, pick no). This way it's fresh but you can always replace the new game with the old saves folder and re-install CC from the downloads folder. As for mods, I'm pretty sure you can't directly place the folder back in the new game. But save the folder to your desktop, then set up new framework for the new mods folder, and just drag whatever mods from the old folder you want into your new one. Also, this seems to be the solutions for many, just delete .tmp files out of DCCache folder before you play and before launching the launcher. No guarantees but best of luck!
Guys i have a solution, if you have the saving problem in the newest update, unfortunately you have to delete all your other worlds other than sunset valley and it will work.

Problem: Sports Agent career inaccessible. The action of going to work cancels itself out. Sim doesn't do anything when ordered to go to work, just stands there and is not stuck.

Forthe cave problem, since you have Nras, try doing Reset Lot on the dive lot at the start of the game. When I do that, I am able to explore caves. When I don't, I get the same thing you are describing. The reset seems to stay in place for the entire session, althugh I rarely go diving more than twice per session.

I also have troble with placing sims I make in CAS. They seem to get no diving suits, or transform gender when diving.

2.there is aparently an uncharterd island marker thats should be showing up in the game in buy debug so if we want to create our own city/island with hidden island we can but it's not showing up in the game, it dose however show up in CAW.UpDate the uncharterd island maker is showing up in edit town mode under landmarks, this is a feature i'd really like to see.
3. new bug sims stand near shower or bath taking forever to get in, they also take long to change clothes to go to work.
4. flooring is looking glitchy when in create a style it randomly go partly invisible and it look as if clrt-f is being pressed for a short moment.
5.game play seems real slow and choppy (i don't have any hacks or mods, just store content.)never had any mods or hacks just store content, also i'm playing in islo paradisa.
6.saving takes a long time (i've close as many back round task as possible nothing else but the game is running). my OS is windows 7 playing from a disk bought at the store.my patch is 1.55.4.022017
7.speed 4 dose not work on speed 4 is as if only speed 1 is working.
8.donations do not change they stay the same even if i donate to both avalible causes on the mail box.
9.when the game is first loading it takes a long time to load up and come into play.
I'm not a expert but this usually used to work for me (lol see above post): What I've always done is copy my downloads and saves folder onto my desktop, then re-install the games (it gives a option as to whether or not you want to save old files, pick no). This way it's fresh but you can always replace the new game with the old saves folder and re-install CC from the downloads folder. As for mods, I'm pretty sure you can't directly place the folder back in the new game. But save the folder to your desktop, then set up new framework for the new mods folder, and just drag whatever mods from the old folder you want into your new one. Also, this seems to be the solutions for many, just delete .tmp files out of DCCache folder before you play and before launching the launcher. No guarantees but best of luck!

Problem: Sports Agent career inaccessible. The action of going to work cancels itself out. Sim doesn't do anything when ordered to go to work, just stands there and is not stuck.
Forthe cave problem, since you have Nras, try doing Reset Lot on the dive lot at the start of the game. When I do that, I am able to explore caves. When I don't, I get the same thing you are describing. The reset seems to stay in place for the entire session, althugh I rarely go diving more than twice per session.
