I started a new game yesterday, I was only going to play for a little while (hahaha, played all evening). I created a young female sim and had her move into an apt in San MyShuno (am I the only one who thinks Muh-muh-muh Myyyy Sha-rona when I read San Myshuno?). lol

I was playing my city girl athlete when she was asked to join Partihaus. I rolled with it and had her join. She went to a club meeting and they were dancing to the beats when Paolo reaches out and plants a big smooch on her. There were lots of hearts and their pink bar started up immediately. I'm like, well, that was unexpected. And bold. lol So you two are particularly compatible then eh? Ok, I can take a hint.

They hit it off, had a whirlwind romance and then eloped. Paolo moved in with my girl and they're moving up in their careers currently.

There really is a relationship compatibility feature in this game, sometimes it's less subtle than others. lol

I try to change things up a bit, to help me keep the multitude of story lines straight. Which is why I'm in a very slight quandary. Love Day is the day before his birthday, thinking he should pop the question. I did create this new save primarily to try out MWS, after all. It's been a long road and I'm growing impatient. LOL While he made it to the top in celebrity status a day prior to my other save, he's also a Starlight Accolade behind. He didn't win the last one. Should keep him humble at any rate. He has one more before he turns into a YA. If I recall correctly, the older version of Erik had five Accolades before he went off to Uni. I may just go ahead and get them married before Uni. It won't be the let's pretend to break-up to throw the Paparazzi off-track scenario. I may just let this be a full blown Event-of-the-Year.

Naturally the ghosts are still around. Here Lily is sleeping in Iris' bed too because they are both so jumpy.


And Iris has just put Lily down to bed to prepare the farm for Christmas. {which I will play next time.. also it's summer because I did Southern Hemisphere holidays, like where I live RL}

Sounds like a very interesting and dramatic storyline. The game just handed you a gift.

@kokoro80 I think I'm jealous. Never has a Sim of mine (not that they need it) ever won, but mostly the winners are Sims mine don't even know. That is just so cool for your Sim. My Sims congratulate yours, and, no, they won't pose as long, lost distant relatives needing a loan. LOL

I believe my whole family has managed to stay up all night long. Erik had a concert and a bit part in a major movie to shoot. He arrived back at the house and everybody is still up. I had to force Joey to finish his homework, which he finally completed. Thank you, Joey. Then he decided to go upstairs and workout. Only problem is, he's clumsy. Oh, Joey, please tell me you aren't going to earn the Erratic Trait after your mother. Everyone knows that if you attempt something the same way at least three times, expecting a different outcome, you're cheese has slipped off of your cracker. So, he keeps running on the treadmill, adjusts it to an inclined state, the thing tosses his legs right out underneath him, like someone snapping a towel straight. He ends up crumpled at the foot of the thing, seeing stars. So, he gets up, shakes his head and tries again. And again. And again. Joey, you're a Genius, why can't you figure this out?

Playing on a new laptop now and my game is fully up to date. The Denny Family is still alive and well, now at 12 generations. I went ahead and revived Gen 1, and also reverted Gen 2-3 back to adult. They are all immortal now. I have unfinished business with Miranda.. I'm never gonna have the patience to learn how to mod this game so I can do the cool things I wanted to do with her story.

Walkies in a heatwave with my Hanna family. Jai, her teen son Devan and their two doggies, Philippe the Poodle and Lorenzo the Italian Greyhound (I had no idea the easily scared dogs would hide under sofas, but that's an adorable feature I discovered when I couldn't find him anywhere one day).



Devan got a hotdog.



He never even ate the hotdog. Idk where it went.


And when they got home, Devan went to the toilet, and I asked him to call a friend as his social bar was getting low. But I didn't realise it'd be FROM the toilet! That's just weird, Devan. Also, there's a Philippe nose in the mirror.


(Btw, can dogs and cats get heatstroke in the game?? I know they don't have water bowls but I'm a bit worried about them!)

Today Ana Rodriguez & Darrel Charm's baby, an adorable little spellcaster girl Penny aged up into a toddler.


I randomized her trait and she got independent. She practiced her potty skill alone and looked quite proud of doing it.

Penny's dad Darrel arrested his first criminal at work.

Let me see, now? What happened in my game today, the non-serial version? I'll tell you what happened. I forgot it was Aaron's birthday, focusing too much on Love Day. In my stomach flu fazed-out brain, I had the notion to have all four of the Teens, along with their intended partners go out together. I recently placed a very lovely restaurant called the Dragon House from the Gallery. (Sentimental me, it was the name that grabbed me, but it's beautiful.) This was to be my test-drive of said restaurant, but I forgot the largest table was only a six-top. Face/palm. Things ran along and I ended up splitting Erik and Kayleigh from the group to have an actual date. It ran long and suddenly it was Saturday in my game. I double-checked the calendar and realized Aaron's birthday was now on Saturday, same as Erik's. Unacceptable, they are NOT twins. There is a specific pecking order in this household that must not be displaced. LOL So, despite the progress, I decided to exit without saving with the notion I would simply have a birthday cake ready for Aaron, age him up and then the rest could go out either together or separately. Before I could amend my situation, I was informed by Origin that I had to patch in order to play. Say, what? So much for waiting for mods to be updated. (And, I just double-checked, auto-update game is still OFF.) But, like a Lemming, I hit update. Face/palm. Maybe I should just stick my head in the water next time I have to upchuck. So, I'm doing a game repair at the moment with the intention of starting a new save, since I won't have my mods. Any of them. I could attempt to play the one I have been playing, but if I save and certain mods aren't in place, Erik will lose his royalties again. Not just for the songs he's written, which currently number thirteen, but he also won't have his four released albums. We're talking §3000.00 for the albums alone. He will also lose his accrued Simoleons of which I have not written down how much he has. It's in the six-digit range, though. Oh, well. I didn't start playing the game until after ten in my time zone. No mention of the patch dropping, which is why I was hanging around the forums, but oh, well. Not my week, I guess. Sorry, this ran long.

I couldn't do it. I've already pulled away from Erik to start this latest save to try out MWS. I only exited without saving after playing since the morning, yesterday because I made a tactical error. I failed to have Aaron age up on Friday, focusing way to hard on Love Day, as I was. Face/palm. Just to learn that I HAD to update before I could play again. People should know something about me. I don't respond well to pressure tactics. Gets my Irish up. So, being rather stubborn to begin with, I put my Mods folder right back in after the update and the game repair I did, and replayed Friday. I know the broken mods will destroy the save, ultimately, but I want to experience the new wedding roll-out with Erik and Kayleigh. My new save would just have been my ancestors anyway. Can't have Teens get married without MCCC, which as of late afternoon Mountain Daylight Savings Time, hadn't been tested. I shall see what's up with it today. I already know Road to Fame, is on the back burner, for now, according to the creator's Discord. Ho-hum. It's working okay in my game, and has been but for one small detail, which I can live with. I just need Erik's royalties and albums, of which he has three ready for release during each Term he's in Uni, which shall happen soon. So, that's the state of my gameplay at this moment. I had the parents go on a date, mid-afternoon to celebrate the day. I even had Joey and Astrid to out. Aaron and Sandi had a date. By the time Erik returned from his Love Day Concert, I had him ask Kayleigh on a date, but things take so long, that they ended up not having a great time. She kept leaving the table, strangely enough … Trouble in Paradise?

Had to turn off autonomous mean actions with MCCC once again, since several of my sims appear to have developed attitude problems that cause them to lash out on their loved ones for no reason whatsoever. So until they learn to sort themselves out, everyone will be playing nice, whether they like it or not.

Today, Aaron, Erik and Joey aged up to YA. This was a Friday, Saturday, Sunday event. Erik received the letters providing his scholarships, while Aaron learned he had applied. Erik checked the mail just in case. Erik tried to take Kayleigh, who had also just aged up to YA out to lunch on a date, but for the fact I forgot Joey had an appointment to have his health checked. Of course that prompt takes precedence. (Can't blame the mod, it was my, fault.) I was able to return to Erik, who was at the restaurant, standing alone outside. So, I brought him home and let him cool down in the pool. First day of summer and it's a heat wave. Yikes. He only has to show up at the Starlight Accolades. In sweltering heat. He wore his new white, three-piece tuxedo, sans a tie. Chic, but sporty. He won his fifth Accolade. He was thrilled, but he had so wanted to propose to Kayleigh. Another day, perhaps.

Today I played the Smith family, on my PC version. I have the exact same family as doubles on my PS4, where one family had a son and another a daughter. The Smith family consists of Diamond, Adrian, Pearl, Dylan, and John.
The Smith family moved into a new house, where Dylan and John shared a room, and Pearl got her own. The home had a bakery on the bottom floor, and the second story, and third floor are for the family living.
Pearl and Dylan started their first day on their job as coffee baristas, both were almost late due to it being so early. They both did average for their first day. They each had an option to take care of items that sat in the sink for a long time. Dylan scrubbed it, but it was useless, since his boss left. Pearl just threw it away after trying, and the boss was fine with it. Both went to school, and due to an early job, and school, the two are exhausted. Despite that, Pearl has aced her classes, while Dylan is still average.
Adrian went to his job, and was almost missed his day of work due to oversleeping. Despite that, he did well at work, but came home exhausted. He took a shower, and filled some of the requirements for his job, before going to spend some time with his wife, while she painted. John is a social butterfly, and does well in school, despite getting average grades. Diamond helped her son with homework, and John was fine on his own. As long as he was able to interact with his family, he was overall fine.
Diamond doesn't have a job, so she spent the day exploring the area, and meeting people. Diamond visited the Pancakes, and met Eliza and Bob. She tried to talk up Adrian so Bob and him could be friends, but that didn't work, The two men don't have much in common. She also went to the museum, and the library, where she met many people. After the day, she went home to paint, where she spent her time with her husband.

Today, I deleted all of my played saves because I’m not attached to any of them. I do this more often than I’d like to admit. So now I’m setting up my millionth save with sims and lots from the gallery.

Geezus @UniqueKhaos....I've only started 3 new games total in all the years since TS4 came out. Heck, I'm still playing the same save in TS2 (when I play that) that I started well over a decade ago.

I dont' really get attached to the sims, but I spend days and days and days setting up all the lots, so I get attached to the setup.
