Whatever they announce or release, they are working on it for at least months.
They plan what content to make years ahead.
So they are working now on the things they predicted in 2016 what we will want after Seasons and Get Famous is out.
Those Predictions aren't really that accurate.
They'll probably make up for all the Expansions we've had recently with Stuff Packs.
IE a Stuff Pack that is full of stuff that's perfectly suited for Get Famous and making better sets. And full of things that totally could have been in Get Famous.
Get Famous actually has a lot of themes that can be fleshed out - pirates, cowboys, space adventures and the Renaissance and fashion from decades long past.

I remember SimGuruGrant saying on twitter not too long ago (and no, I cannot find the tweet in his bazillion tweets) that the pattern/way they deliver content will ''probably change again next year'', so I was like; watch the grand return of Stuff Pack mania.
At least, don't expect them to dish out more EP's at this rate, because it will probably change again, yes. (Get Famous technically is a GP though with EP label on it, but that's another story).
I see 2019 a scary place - so my focus is more on real life I guess. What ever 2019 brings I just hope to see it. Right now I would probably settle for anything. LOL. Not really asking for anything anymore, but to be here and see what ever it is and I'll smile or at least try my best to. Priorities I think often give us an abrupt change of vision sometimes.

What I want to happen is not what I think will happen.
What I want is 3 GPs. First Witches, then Werewolves, a Patch that adds Likes and Dislikes, so my Sim can hate the sight of blue hair or green furniture and love blonde hair and cake, and then Mermaids with a tropical vacation world that is residential but only for Mermaids.
I would also like for spiral stairs to be added.
And in November a postapocalyptic EP with survival off the grid gameplay. You could play in a desolated society where Careers don't exist, Simoleons are useless, food must be grown, found or stolen and cannot be bought from the fridge, the grid is down and Phones and the Internet don't work, and every decorative house in all the worlds are in ruins. or you can vurn that of and still have the gameplay, but it would be optional and you will be the only one doing those things everyone does in the other version.
Do I think this will happen? Sadly no. Do I think it could happen, albeit with a very slim microscopic small possibillity? No.
I am not even asking. Its that unrealistic. But I would love that.
What do I think will happen?

I would like another time travel pack with your dystopian future and it could change on what caused it. If we get zombies again, there could be one with a zombie apocalypse due to you turning sims into zombies in the present.
I've already said most of this several times in several other threads, but this seems like a good topic to repeat it.
EP 1: Witches. Yes, I'm saying EP, not GP, because I want it to be really big, with several available "branches" of magic for witches, at least one new supernatural career and aspiration, personality traits to give certain sims a fascination with or a fear of witches, an entire new witchy world similar to the one from TS1, and other TS1 features such as magic duels, or completing magic tasks for vendors to earn special rewards.
EP 2: Not sure... Two months ago I would have said Superstar, but that wish was granted faster than I could even express it, so... maybe University? I don't care too much about it personally, but it's something many simmers want, and if it's done better than in TS2 and finally gives us the teaching career we're all longing for, I might eventually warm up to it as well.
GP 1: Casino vacation. I'm imagining a flashy desert world similar to Las Vegas as a new vacation destination for sims, with hotel rooms to stay in rather than big vacation houses, and casinos being the city's main attraction. "Casino" also becomes a new lot type to put in residential worlds, and it comes with a new gambling skill and aspiration.
GP 2: Back to the roots. A residential forest world similar to Granite Falls with wooden huts and tree houses for sims who want to live surrounded by nature, growing and hunting their own food, sewing their own clothes, and producing their own power if they even need it. There's a new nature aspiration tailored specifically to this kind of lifestyle, and new skills include archery and sewing. (If this is too much for a GP, it can gladly take the place of my EP 2.)
GP 3 / SP 1: Religion. It would be cool if sims could join various religions or cults, some of which require certain traits or skills, some might hate each other or be feared by everyone (like a Doomsday cult, for example). If not, I'd settle for a stuff pack with more religious objects such as crucifixes, idol figurines and holy books, and rely on GT's club system to do the rest.
SP 2: Disney princesses. I'd love to dress up my sims in the official dresses and hairstyles of Disney princesses such as Snow White, Aurora, Belle, etc. I already have Elsa's two dresses as CC, but don't remember where I got them, so if anyone knows a good creator of Disney dresses who puts their creations up for download, please let me know.
I suppose that out of my suggestions, only witches and university are realistically plausible, because gambling is bad, hunting animals is bad, religion is controversal, copyright issues with Disney dresses, yada yada... But one can dream, right?

Vacation 2: Someplace like the Alps where you can have Romantic Vacations, fur skin rugs (with actions), skiing, sledding, tobogganing, live bands you can watch, listen to and dance to, slow dancing also.
Vacation 3: A Mediterranean Vacation, Greek Islands, Monte Carlo (Casino stuff), Venice (Gondola’s), Egypt (Pyramids). Pick from a Cruise ship or Yacht to go from place to place ( with Ballrooms, Buffets, swimming pools, bars , night clubs, live bands.)
Vacation 4: Yosemite, GrandCanyon, Yellowstone National Park, Mt. Rushmore. A Roadtrip with your car. Stopping along the way and being able to stay in motel/ hotels along the way
Farming/Medieval/off the grid pack, farm animals, more crops, newspapers, Dragons, sewing machine.
Education Pack : from preschool through college, also with after school activities, like ballet, and karate.
