My guess would be that we’d see beach vacation, universities, witches, and some stuff packs that we wouldn’t be able to predict. I think stuff packs are always really tough to guess..

I hope Beach Vacation is the first pack of 2019. I need it bad.

    Hoping for:
    - 2 EP’s: Farming and Education
    - 2 GP’s: Witches and Hobbies
    - 1/2 SP’s: Teen Stuff and anything else, randomly. I’m hoping for interior design.
Simmer since 2000! Sims 1, Sims, 2, Sims 3, Sims 4. Legacy player at heart.

Universities, witches, and probably a stuff pack at least.

What I'd like to see, but don't necessarily expect:

    Stuff Packs
    • Pool Stuff – Floaties, diving board, swimsuits, pool loungers (could just add this stuff to a tropical island game pack too)
    • Teen Stuff – Clothes, laptops (and allow teens to use social media), uh don’t know. I spent my teen years just reading
    • Elder Stuff – Walking cane, clothes, knitting, bingo

    Game Packs
    • Witches/Magic – A magical system where anyone can learn it or just witches. I’d be fine with either.
    • Living off the grid – Wells, solar panels, canning, outhouse, option to turn electricity off permanently (maybe lot trait)
    • Island Vacation – Island world, learn sim’s version of Polynesian culture, beaches, tanning, hula, surfing, shell collection
    • Bands/Music – drums, electric guitar, ability to play together and earn money
    • Super Heroes – could be a life state like mutant or something, kids have limited abilities, could be set in post apocalyptic world with zombies they could fight

    Expansion Packs
    • Farm – Canning, raising animals, raising crops, more rustic furniture, country world
    • Education – homeschooling, private school’s you can customize, maybe university
    • Hobbies – Candle making, nectar making, scrapbook/card making, sewing, expanded wood working, drawing

If I had to just pick two of each this is what I'd like to see:

    Jan: Teen SF
    Mar: Witches/Magic GP
May: Hobbies EP (But will probably be University)
    Jul: Elder SP
    Sep: Island Vacation GP
    Nov: Farm EP

Its cool to see that you guys are open to a brand new EP besides the expected Universities. But i am not sure if we should be expectiong a Farming EP, t=its probably going to take a lot more production time than the other EPs, like Cats and Dogs usually does.

It's possible. Depends on if they make the animals like pets or more like objects. I'd be fine with something in between.

I expect a vacation destination (beach or tropical- mostly due to the recent patch and because of demand), a new life state of some form (either fully fledged or patched like the plant sims) and as for EP I'm thinking that university/education is likely.

I really would like to see a kingdom/royalty EP. Something that introduces more political gameplay or gives your sim some kind of control over his/her world. I really want my king sims to be a real king and not just the king in my head lol.

Then maybe you need to find a different kind of game that offers that. I buy games that include the kind of content I want to play - as I admit I am not big on pre-tend when I am gaming . I just know if I want a space adventure I don't go buying a game that doesn't offer the space adventure and then complain I can't go into space with my game. Maybe you just need to fina a game that gives you the pay you want then instead of being angry this game apparently doesn't.

For me the game now gives me what I want. I did not buy it when it did not until it offered what I needed. I went and played previous versions instead that had the things I wanted. Then when this one added things I wanted - I bought it and all it's packs. So why would I not be satisfied with it now. It delivered and I am happy with what I have so I will enjoy playing it. Everything else the game has offered since is really icing on the cake and more adventures and types of play if I so desire to purchase them.

I followed royal_sim_court on IG that playing with political game play. I think it’s a pretty cool idea. Just like the Sims Medieval... I’m game for anything that add something new to the game play 😊

If they offered that style of gameplay I'd look into it but it would have to be active game play and not something I would have to pretend to do. LOL just because my sims had a couple of outfits or suits of armor in the game I am not inclined to try and play that role with out all that goes with something like Medieval.

For me though with smart phones and fx vehicles all over the place and sims wearing what ever I would find it odd to actually try and play medieval style in this modern day game. So for me that would probably be an issue. I tried that in a user made world in Sims 3 and it never went as good as say going and just playing that scenario in Sims 3 Medieval. It wasn't horrible but there were times it wasn't great either and I was much happier playing the actual Sims 3 Medieval game than a Sims pre-tend version even with alot of store content that supported some of that play.

I don't think he/she is angry when he/she mentioned about wanting the Sims to be a real king.. because it's ended with laughing out loud... which brings me to the next...

I personally believe that, it is up to anyone to pick and choose which ever EP/GP that suit with their play style.. maybe Medieval is not for everyone.. same goes to the Vampires or supernatural in general. I don't mind to play anything that could give me a new game play to explore instead of buying adds on stuffs only.

I do agree that, it will be better if it's offered an active game play instead of pretending to be king/queen... Anywho, I respect your views.. :)

Same here. As long as you enjoy your game I really think that's always a win. So far i have all the packs so I pretty much like a big variety. I love the supernaturals and would not refuse any of them. LOL.

I'd love a sims 4 medieval. I actually bought the sims 3 one(calling it that because they use sims 3 model sims) and replayed it but I really dislike how linear it is. You can't freeplay but are locked to quests, something I hate. It doesn't give you any breathing room. If they made one in the sims 4 style I'd definitely buy it.

I think that next year would be more rehashes of what you get in previous games but watered down

I agree. And if they do end up making a pack with something we haven't seen before it'll probably be the one thing no one wanted.

That's what we get with every pack

Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"

Farming havent been done before, and it is asked since SIms 2. I mean, no one asked for Island Paradise, or some of Sims 3 packs, and they were great. (except Katy Perry's Sweet Treats SP, its a sin).

I hope to see a farming expansion, with farm animal, a few more cropsmaybe combined with off the grid and Medieval stuff.

I would also like to see a witch/ magic expansion or game pack.

Also, I would like to see a liesure vacation pack with ocean swimming hotels and motels, casino stuff, more arcade games, and volleyball.

Cars would be nice and a romantic pack would be nice. Picnic interactions, bear skin rug interactions, wedding stuff, etc.

I would like to see babies be people instead of objects. children being able to plat together without objects,

An education pack with some new careers, not just University, but high school etc.

I’d love to see a pack for elders, sewing machine. Bingo, a cemetery.

1 EP in November. Maybe University, maybe something else. Paradise Island was a popular Request a while ago.
A GP in February and one in August or September. I speculate on the second one to be Witches, but that is just my hoping, wanting, dreaming...
1 or 2 SPs, one in April or May, one perhaps in June, but who knows.
2 or 3 patches with free stuff in it. I expect nothing bigger than 5 pieces of furniture, 3 deco objects, and 3 CAS assets and maybe, just maybe, one piece of Gameplay. Something like burglars. But not Burglars and Firefighters and Cars and Bicycles and Taxis and School Busses and more in one Update.

The Rest will be the Gurus talking about how they enjoy working on the Sims 4 and how they are working on something awesome, and then refuse to answer questions on it and show pictures of their dogs instead.

Well, on a second thought, maybe 2 GPs might be a wishful thinking and we are getting only one. Meh. I leave it there. One can dream.

They'll probably make up for all the Expansions we've had recently with Stuff Packs.

IE a Stuff Pack that is full of stuff that's perfectly suited for Get Famous and making better sets. And full of things that totally could have been in Get Famous.

Get Famous actually has a lot of themes that can be fleshed out - pirates, cowboys, space adventures and the Renaissance and fashion from decades long past.
Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.

This line of thought makes a Poolside SP likely. With more things to put into or next to the pool and such.
