What is something you have accomplished as an adult (or teen) that your younger self would be proud of?
Going to uni and graduating. I remember when I was like 8-10 years old, I was like, "There's no way I would be good or smart enough to get to university." And I always dreamed of throwing my graduation hat up in the air like how they always do it in the movies or stock photos. LOL LOL.
We didn't get to that in real life tho cuz they said it's dangerous and we could poke ourselves in the eye. 😂😂

Getting a job. My younger self honestly dreamed of getting a job at the pizza place my mom works at when I turned 16 and then working to college and becoming a teacher. 16 came and went and I didnt work there, but before Senior Year of High Scholl, I got a job at an inflatables place that I'd had parties at as a kid. I'd come to work there for almost 2 year getting a raise a month before my last day which was due to the pandemic.

I like how I have a bandaid on my nose and everyone always asks what's wrong but it's only cuz I'm covering up my whitehead so it doesn't get into contact with my big glasses. Also, my cheeks are just filled with whiteheads lately so if anyone has any skin tips, do share. XD I use a foam cleanser, toner and moisturizer twice a day and my skin is still poop. What is life.

Completing a year of collegiate level swim. I most likely would've finished out that second year if it weren't for that concussion, but...I'm still proud of what I've managed so far

Getting a pretty large role in a theater production at my theater-focused high school, even though I’m one of the youngest. I didn’t get to perform (thanks Covid) but it’s been my dream to do theater and getting the role made me feel a lot more confident in my skills.
Thanks for that, @Sorak4 followed the link. Man, the last time I played Tekken it was just a Playstation 1 game, and before that, something I dropped quarters into in the basement rec room at uni! Neat to find out how much fandom and lore there is now, for it.
And that pic really spoke to me, though it was odd how he morphed into a ginger when he didn't start that way. Maybe they needed a way to differentiate him more visually, or maybe it was playing up the hotheaded personality with the ginger stereotype (though being a ginger, I can sort of say for me at least, not entirely a false stereotype).
Reading the wiki, I can easily see how they could be coupled. The image is compelling.

How'd you get a concussion, Bella? I'm sorry it did that to you but wow on the swimming, that's impressive!
Oh, I was swimming a 200 IM (fly, back, breast, free) set and miscounted my back turn and hit my head on the pool wall I missed two weeks of class (because this happened towards the beginning of October 2019) and was kicked off the team because of it

I’ve never gotten a concussion but I do have a funny concussion story. I was at camp with my friend and we were just doing cartwheels and she fell doing a cartwheel and got a concussion. From a cartwheel. It was pretty minor as she was back in camp a week later, but she did get cartwheels totally banned at our camp.

Before the concussion, I've scared my mom a couple times at meets on backstroke finishes banging my wrist or elbow up. That's why I always try to finish with my left hand, because my right wrist is the bad one that I've injured before
A concussion from a cartwheel would hurt I actually can't do cartwheels because I threw my back out doing a summer-salt when I was in cheer (I was like 7/8) and never learned how to do a cartwheel because of it

Funny thing happened today: was at the packy, picking up a bottle of organic Cabernet Sauvignon, and it came to 25 cents less than the even bill amount I handed her. She asked if I wanted a receipt, I said no, and she shut the register. I stood there, nonplussed. She goes, "Oh, you want the receipt after all?" and I just continued staring at her with disbelief. "Oh...twenty-five cents...so she re-opens the register and puts my change on the receipt, on the counter, acting like I'm stingy or something, to expect my change back. I just gave her a look, picked up my quarter, left the receipt on the counter, and left.
But I was thinking, "What, is your register short or something?" I'd have given her a donation if she'd asked, but expecting me not to want my change back, even if it is just a quarter, rubbed me wrong, especially since her attitude seemed to imply that machismo required I not care about a whole twenty-five cents.
Geez, lady. If you're desperate I'll help you out, but don't try to manipulate or shame me for expecting my change back.
the look I gave her wasn't quite as strong as the one in my avi, but it was in the same category.

Well that’s hard. What did I what when I was a kid? Probably how much I’ve gotten better at piano and that I stuck with it.
