So i am not sure how I am going to do the next gift. Requires a bit of set up. I will figure it out even if I do it in parts.

Ok so for Gift 4 it's going to be done in Parts. Maybe 3 parts! You get the first one now, and maybe the next one tomorrow morning. Depends on the time I have.

So Part 1: Mischa Goes to Uni

Mischa was a little all over the place when she got to Uni. She decided to pursue a career in Journalism and chose her degree accordingly. She found a small house and moved in and advertised for some roommates, to pay her rent and give her a head start after Uni was over.

As part of her Communications degree she was given a radio.

30898434652_3c528f0c5a_o.jpgScreenshot-35 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Not too shabby. Mischa really enjoyed being on the radio and thought it would be a great way to make extra money.

She didn't like having to clean up after messy roommates.

30898433842_87f1d432d1_o.jpgScreenshot-36 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

She also wanted to give writing a try, as she was unsure if she would want to be a news anchor or a journalist. She found she liked both.

30926614431_fd45c88848_o.jpgScreenshot-37 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Mischa was a very studious sim. She wanted to learn, she was there to learn, she couldn't allow outside distractions.

31040673375_49c994c0ab_o.jpgScreenshot-38 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

And pretty soon, students were waiting to hear one of Mischa's broadcasts:

30926609931_b609b92a2e_o.jpgScreenshot-39 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Although sometimes coming up with a program on the fly was challenging, but one that she welcomed.

31040677335_6ee41813b2_o.jpgScreenshot-40 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Some of the lectures were pretty draining as you always get that one professor with the monotone voice that drones on and on over 20 pages of notes.

30898432882_e21c03397d_o.jpgScreenshot-41 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

    Yeah, that one!

31040671875_d10e95fd99_o.jpgScreenshot-42 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

But then a distraction came . .in the form of Cid Serverus, an alien being studying at Uni and living in Mischa's home as a roommate.

31040670845_ccb6d204d4_o.jpgScreenshot-43 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

The two hit it off really well and luckily, Cid supported Mischa through all of her study dates and it helped Cid out too.

30898431402_6f87bed54d_o.jpgScreenshot-45 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

OMG. They are real! I've never seen a plantsim before in Uni. I mean I knew they were there, but could never find one, but Mischa ended up walking by her on the street.

30898436922_f9c05bfb3b_o.jpgScreenshot-47 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Anyway, things between Mischa and Cid became more and more serious to the point where Mischa was talking marriage.

30898430992_149823e183_o.jpgScreenshot-48 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Cid didn't really respond. Could they be destined for one another, or did Mischa jump to some very wrong conclusions.

Stay tuned for the next installment of Mischa goes to Uni.

Part 2: Fires, Graduating and Babies?

It was the early evening and Mischa decided to do her broadcast and have Cid, not plum -.- as a special guest. She started with the usual hype up and the news.

31051549665_7f23315af3_o.jpgScreenshot-51 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Before inviting her guest out to interview. She questionned herself if she should ask him to marry her, but was scared he'd say no and wasn't sure if she wanted to subject herself to that over the airwaves of a campus.

31051546795_c4417b8548_o.jpgScreenshot-52 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

The interview wrapped up and she went off air and for a moment the two stood silently next to the other.

31051548905_cc638dbeb0_o.jpgScreenshot-53 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

But like all things, it must come to an end.

"Do you smell that?" asked Cid.

    "Smells like . . .smoke???"

They rush back into the house. He kinda stood around panicking with their other roommate, Shantell, who started the fire, it's those stoves.

30937445891_0beaf6a03a_o.jpgScreenshot-54 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

While Mischa got a fire extinguish and barked at someone to call the fire department as she battled the flames. Her roommates looked on.

31051542935_478f49cb65_o.jpgScreenshot-57 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Some soon took off, not wanting to deal with the flames or the hazards. And some soon caught on fire.

30937433651_2dd4abfe94_o.jpgScreenshot-58 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

    I think that's called Karma.

Mischa soon turned the fire extinguisher on her roommate, yelling for reinforcements as the fire was getting very out of control.

Well these next parts are best explained via Silent Movie

31016311986_6a8908df2b_o.jpgVideo-2 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

But in the end, while the house was saved, Shantell was not. Her belongings went to her best friend and Mischa had her urn. They were friends and Mischa had heard of some stories she had to find out were true.

A few days later, Mischa was graduating and heading back to Sunset Valley.

30909280092_e722f7c995_o.jpgScreenshot-62 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

And while there, she restored Shantell Tanning back to her alive self. Shantell decided, after living with Mischa for a few days to strike out on her own and live life to the fullest.

31015787876_dc73647964_o.jpgScreenshot-63 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

And then, Mischa was headed back to Uni to finish her degree.

31051520235_60e81c3aaf_o.jpgScreenshot-65 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

And would you look at that, they did get married.

Cid decided to stay in Sunset Valley as he didn't really want to go back to school, but supported Mischa to be the best she could be and to experience whatever she could.

So she got mostly new roommates, studied for the week she was there and even started a few protests.

31015779166_ef996f43e4_o.jpgScreenshot-71 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Her roommate, more her husband's friend, was abducted by aliens . . .Cid???

30937423821_0814633412_o.jpgScreenshot-73 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Did you have something to do with that?

She also went to her graduation ceremony

30909262342_bf03f90e95_o.jpgScreenshot-75 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

    And graduated with top honors

31051511365_3f5574966f_o.jpgScreenshot-78 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

She went back home and invited her best friend back with her, or at least, one of them. And she soon learned she was pregnant.

30909263282_42992a596b_o.jpgScreenshot-80 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

    And had their first Child.

30937405221_6ea3d4dcf7_o.jpgScreenshot-81 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

The final part may be up tonight with the gift and Gift 5 should be up tomorrow that kinda ties into this one.

Hope you are enjoying it so far!

Oh, I love a good story! Surprisingly, she rolled a wish for journalism career first thing in my game too; but I sent her to get a tech degree because you get that awesome brain machine with that. She's not so far in my game (with real life distractions constantly popping up and taking me away).

LOL, yeah she really excels at the journalism although she's not far along after having their first daughter. Hubby's been pulling most of the weight with her architecture career which he is really good at. Only one bad review so far. She wanted to be a doctor in mine and I was like nope, try something else.

Hello @LadyEmillye ! Terribly sorry for not being on lately, stuff has been happening but anyway thank you for your gifts and what's next to come . Definitely like the minimalist style of your works.....though chances are as I'm currently going through a dystopian 60s We Happy Few phase chances are there's going to be a lot of renovations plans. Seriously though, check out that game if you're into dystopia, the 60s, Britain when Ted Heath was Prime Minister, you know that kind of stuff.

Anyway, once again thank you for the gifts!

    What an interesting story!

Did you really name the alien "plum", or is that the EA censorship striking back again?

LOL, well maybe the last part isn't so much a story as the beginning?

But definitely one to look forward to.

Hey, so here is Gift 4, it's not really a story, more of the final introduction to what Mischa has gotten up to and what her life entails now. Something for you to kind of carry on.

As per the challenge, Mischa and her hubby had to furnish the house by their own earnings. Of course Mischa was pregnant with their first child, Talon, so she wrote a lot of books and articles that you can find in her bookshelf. I'll explain the house in a minute.

Her hubby became a very successful architect. He hasn't had many bad reviews and his painting skill is pretty well done. He usually paints or uses the drafting table to create something to use when he is designing.

Talon grew up to a child and has an imaginary friend in her inventory who could turn into real if wanted.

Mischa also gardens and has a thriving one on one side of the house. Anyway, lets get you a link and some pictures to browse through :)

    Carbonell

So as you can see, same house, but more furnished/lived in and as I mentioned, it's you choice if you choose to carry on her story or start anew. ;)

So as you met Mischa and her hubby, also meet Talon their daughter, and Gene, their son.

This house does have some patterns I made through CAP.

Here is the kitchen with the very first picture of the happy couple when they started dating.

Lovely to see the expanded Carbonell family as well as the improvements/additions made to their home! Like Mia, I was also surprised to see that it is only a 30x30 because it certainly seems much, much larger than that :)

Thank you both. LOL. I don't use the very large lots a lot, but you can certainly pack a lot in. It looks big in game too, but there is also a small little bungalow next to it as well lol.

Anyway, I'm just about ready to get Gift 5 up in a bit.

Hey @Figureitout01, So as Promised, here is Gift 5.

Gift 5 ties into the other two gifts as it was something I took away from Uni, quite literally. Please read through before clicking the link.

    Meet the Nightingale Household.

One of the things I didn't share was Mischa new set of roomies (or mostly new) when she went back to finish her degree. In fact, I purposely left some things out. One particular friend, whom became her best friend. I showed some hints of course in the pictures, but she invited her friend to stay with her, and while this friend had a career, she felt more comfortable away from the city but promised Mischa to stay in touch. Mischa gave her friend her pet husky, a very special one, that she had gotten from Cid's friend from Uni as he was expecting a baby with his wife. (They happen to live next door to my Carbonell's in a small bungalow.)

Her friend went out and made a home for herself, and you could put this home in a heavily wooded area, a secluded area or open it completely up with some renovations.

So lets get to the family, shall we?

Meet Floral Nightingale, and her pet husky, Daisy. (Daisy still has the first owners last name)

31086283845_91fbdc3963_o.jpgScreenshot by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

I did edit Floral in CAS a bit, I made her skintone lighter than the Plantsims, almost as if mixed with a normal sim dna.

31086283085_0782c2ed7f_o.jpgScreenshot-2 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

And this is Daisy, who has a white flower covering one side of her head.

30972053281_3c4d159a27_o.jpgScreenshot-3 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Oh, all those trees, they live in the center of it.

31086278445_8e7036421c_o.jpgScreenshot-6 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

    Floral's garden surrounds the house

31050519066_39cfc3430e_o.jpgScreenshot-7 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

    Top floor, Floral's room

31050517626_0f8c85a521_o.jpgScreenshot-8 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

I think Floral wants a baby. There is also only a bathtub as she doesn't need the rest.

31086273665_06638a58d5_o.jpgScreenshot-9 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

The living room. You could put in a small kitchen, depending on if Floral meets someone who requires food. There is also a bakers rack that I started filling with produce, but it auto-populated the rest.

30972043551_8d52ae02e6_o.jpgScreenshot-10 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

    Floral paints as well.

31050512076_c789f70f2b_o.jpgScreenshot-14 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

As you can see, the flooring has a pattern, a red mulch I did in CAP.

30972040151_d36b25ce1b_o.jpgScreenshot-15 by Lady Emillye, on Flickr

Floral is pretty, Daisy is delightful (Oh, my! That flower-shaped marking on her face... adorable!), but that house in the forest... <3 it!!! The red mulch floor pattern and interior plants as well as the glass roof makes this a perfect home for a plantsim. Such a clever idea.

Two great little eateries! Love how different they are. The pool looks so relaxing, and the kids can play while the parents enjoy a nice meal! Really love the three themes in the Triad. Hard to go wrong with a bakery, coffee shop, and an actual restaurant! I always forget about those teapot lights, but they're so cute! (And now, I'm hungry. Might be time to go find a snack of my own, lol)

Mischa is lovely! Great colors in her hair/eyes/wardrobe! That mostly empty house has lots of potential, ready for whatever each individual person prefers filling houses with. And I can't wait to see where she's off to!

Oh, that is a wonderful home for a plantsim! Incorporating the hedges into the home is something I had never thought of before, and it works well here. The mulch floor is a good idea. I wish I knew how to use CAP. :)
