Just to let everyone know don't buy any EA Cash Cards and try to add them to your EA Wallet thru Origin as you'll get an invalid card error. Seems to be broke since the update. I've reported it to Origin.

So I just went to the new origin....but I cant find anything in "my games" and its saying I need to activate the game with the product code

Your games are in the ' Games Library " section of Origin. The games library replaces " my games" . Are you able to find your sims 4 game but are getting a mesage that you need to activate it?
Try logging out of origin completely. Then log back in again and see if that helps.
Try uninstalling and reinstaling origin and see if that helps the issue
If the issue remains, you may need to be in touch with ea help. https://help.ea.com/

I am sorry that you are having these issues There may also be a lot of simmers on the store site because of the sale. Perhaps try again a little later on and see if the issues are fixed then. I hope that you will be able to purchase the packs then.

Got that message after Origin mysteriously opened up on it's own and asked for an activation code for Battlefront and luckily for me the game was there and it loaded, Origins is bugging.

Yes Origin is being a bit glitchy for a lot of people. EA knows this. Make sure your Operating system is fully updated, that's important for Origin 10. Make sure you set Origin to Allow or, as an exception in your firewall, that's important too. Finally Run Origin as Administrator and log in with you EMAIL ADDRESS, not your user name, that makes it easier for Origin to find your entitlements on the server.
For simmers having issues buying packs during the sale , try pressing the top section of the forums screen page. ( or click https://www.thesims.com/en_GB/ )
Then click on the store tab at the top of the screen, then sims 4 store. Then you can buy the packs that you don't own through there. The packs can be added to your shopping cart and bought together. Make sure that you also type in the ORIGIN50 code to get 50% off
I think I have a workaround for the Origin scale problem. I think it's to do with the scaling you have setup for Windows. If I change this to 100% on mine then Origin looks fine.

Unfortunately that's not very practical for me due to my PC setup/distance from screen, and 100% makes everything else so small it hurts my eyes to read it, but it might help with anyone else who can change the settings without problems.
This is actually a fairly common issue in applications and games when Windows scaling is set higher than 100% - for example some games you'll find it looks "zoomed in" and one side of the screen may be cut off etc.
There is another way around it without changing your display scaling settings though.
Find the Origin.exe - default location is c:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\ (or find the exe for any other game or application that gives you the problem)
Right click it and click "Properties"
Click the "Compatibility" tab
Tick the "Disable display scaling at high DPI settings" box
Click Apply/Ok
Then run it again and hopefully it should display correctly regardless of your scaling settings.

Click on the Games label at the top of the screen, then click " reload game library" and see if that helps to show sims 4.

UPDATED: Origin might say it's in 32-bit mode, but might not be actually - there's a UI error rather than an actual change to 32-bit:

Just want to let 64-bit PC Simmers know that after Origin updates today, go into Sims 4 to check your settings: mine reset to 32-bit, and yours might have to.
New path:
Game Library > click on Sims 4 > click the Settings symbol > Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options.
(SimStaff, if this could stay in GD where more Simmers will see it, that would be awesome! People are likely to go into Technical only after they've had a problem.)
Do you need to set it back to 64-bit? I have a 64-bit computer with updated Origin but I've never fiddled with the settings before, so should I start now?
@SimmerinLife Should not need to but, it won't hurt to swap it, click on any other panel in Origin, then swap it back to 64 bit and exit, then restart Origin to lock it in. I did that to mine and, even though updates, it keeps my settings where I want them. Seems to help it get them locked in to the configuration files by setting then exiting and restarting.

I agree, can't find anything on it the way I could the old one. I got up one morning and it was there. I don't go through Origin to start my game I have an icon for it on my desk top, but each time now that I save and exit the game The Origin page is on my desk top when it closes, Never liked Origin and dislike it now even more!

It's Unstable.....It did OPEN with My Sims 4 Games there just to Click on NOW I have to GO to My Games TO Launch ( Hard to Explain but WAS So much easier to GET to ) ....... MY Biggest Complaint is... IT Hangs It Freezes It throws YOU out.....! Chat Doesnt Always Load! SO many bugs with this New one its Aggravating to say the Least! **** Waving at all the wonderful Simmers****

If it continues to hang and freeze, try uninstalling and reinstalling origin and see if that helps your issue.
