Anyone else have problems with games disappearing from the game library after the update? My Sims 2 ultimate collection disappeared.
I've seen this happening a lot with various or even ALL games since the Origin 10 update over on AHQ. Here's how to get your games back. Doing this will NOT affect installed games at all.
Exit Origin completely, then open your task manager and find the process called "OriginWebHelper" and end that process, then follow the link below and do as it instructs. Start Origin again and log in when you are done.
Be sure to log in using your email address, not your user name after clearing the Origin Cache files, that makes it faster and easier for the server to find all of your information and games again.
As for the store and the missing buy button for many, as well as the white screen. I asked EA staff about that earlier today. It is an Origin issue that they are working on so we just have to be patient and let them fix it.

I didn't delete the logs folder and it worked anyway for me, just keep going down the list.

I already had the game added to my Favorites tab. If you click the Filter button on the right of the UI, you'll see a Favorites option. That's where mine shows up.
I haven't done the fixit steps, haven't had time, having a rough day here. I'm not playing anything but 4 right now anyway, I'll get around to it. TY @DarkAmaranth1966 for the link!
If you are 100% certain you are logged in to Origin with the email address the missing game(s) is/are registered to and, you have checked under ALL of the filters and, cleared the Origin Cache files. You may need to contact an Advisor to get your Game(s) back.
Go here to do that and, use the flag at the top to choose your country then, just follow the steps, if it's one game choose that game, if it's several games, choose Origin as the game. What contact options will be available vary by location and time of day. If you scroll down below the contact options, it will show you what times calls are available for your region in case you need to contact them during those times.
And don't be afraid of a call, the support people at EA are friendly, patient and helpful. I've had them call me several times. Once was off hours and one called me all the way from Ireland to help me fix a problem. (I live in the USA)

I do like the new Installing window, that was pretty cool.
Fast net speed here, patch took 4 minutes to install, and the repair job I did after took another 5 minutes. About to go see what's new, but I did want to post a positive note about the Origin update. Overall, I don't love it (manual refresh to fix timer kinda blows...), but this part was pretty painless, today.

Try logging in to origin through the origin clent instead of clicking on the desktop sims 4 icon, Then see if you can launch the game.
ORIGIN has gotten worst and worst. we can no longer add to cart or wish list. We can no longer buy more than one game at a time unless its a game they happen to be suggesting to us during checkout. So if you have a special promo code which can only be used once you can only use it on one game instead of an entire order. it ridiculous!

Try pressing the top section of the forums screen page. ( or click https://www.thesims.com/en_GB/ )
Then click on the store tab at the top of the screen, then sims 4 store. Then you can buy the packs that you don't own through there. The packs can be added to your shopping cart and bought together. You can also use any code that you have there also.
That is Origin 10 and, unless you have the no longer supported Windows Vista or Windows XP operating system, that's the required Origin. You can change the size of the game tiles and, adjust the Zoom in the view menu but, beyond that, the appearance is what EA wants so, we all have to get used to it.

This is all related to the new process that Origin 10 uses called qtwebengineprocess.exe which has turned Origin (10) into a complete disaster and resource hog.

As a heads up I realized that the latest patch change my 64 bit setting back to 32. Go to Origin and "My Game Library". Right click on your Sims 4 game icon and click "Game properties". You will then click on "Advanced Launch Options" where you will find the choice of "The Sims 4 64 Bit". With this option your game can take full advantage of all the memory in your system. You must have a 64 bit operating system to do this. HAPPY SIMMING!

Try logging out of origin, then shut down your computer completely. Start the computer again.
Then try deleting the origin cache files and see if that helps.
