Thank you @Teanias & @MiaSkywalker so much! I did want the garage a little bigger to fit in the parking space and i've put bike racks in there as well to give it a bit more of a family feel
Decided to put a fence around it as it feels more complete with fencing around (I have this problem in rl as well haha) but this is the updated front.
Going in for testing and pictures now
@MiaSkywalker Really enjoying Aurora Skies thank you and currently playing with the single dad with three children in the world
@Kylieb191 It looks good with fencing and if you have supernatural fencing all yards is a good idea it keeps the zombies away!
Speaking of zombies the one full moon I had in Monte vista all the zombies had sun glasses on! Is that normal or does Monte vista have fashionista zombies?

It's because the zombies are just townies, temporarily turned into zombies. Since all townies in MV have shades (something I dislike), all the zombies would as well.
I have mods that remove all chances of zombiism in my towns, since I am absolutely horrified by zombies. In fact, even though I had really been looking forward to that EP, I wouldn't buy it until after a mod to remove zombies had come out! I also make it so the full moon never occurs; it's always at waxing gibbous.

Your landscaping is beautiful!
I've never actually played Aurora Skies. I have it, but one of the reasons I have all the towns is because of the content that comes with them. Each town comes with outfits and furniture that I find invaluable, over and above any premium content.
I've also never played Sunlit Tides, and I think one or two others. There are too many towns to be able to play them all.
Oh I didn't realize everyone in Monte vista wore sunglasses! Hmm maybe they are all hiding something maybe they are all a secret sim life state! Monte vista Martians!

I think it's because one or more of the developers assume that anyone who lives in a place that's very sunny is going to wear sunglasses all the time. (sigh) Very few people I know wear sunglasses, and I live in SoCal. They're in Northern Cal, so maybe they really have no clue, although I didn't think the climates were QUITE so different from each other.
Lol now i'm looking at Monte Vista just because of your ponderings @Teanias :P Supernatural is one I really didn't want as it didn't appeal to me, mainly because of how the celebrity and zombie thing from late night got out of control but I'll get it at some point so it's good to know about the fences .
@MiaSkywalker Thank you Mia! I love the landscaping and decorating side of the builds . I've put it on the exchange and decided to let people put their own touch on it, i'll be doing that to it myself now as there were some things that needed changing lol.
To be honest the main ones I play in nowadays are sunset valley, sunlit tides and now aurora skies but the rest of the worlds I never play in (I can't have all owned packs on at same time anyway ), the ones I don't own are the ones from the 3 last EP's, real cash worlds (aside from Barnacle Bay - bought physical copy and Sunlit Tides) .
Yeah it's great to pick and choose the clothes & furniture you want from different packs or from EA Store and not be limited to a handful of items

I think there are a few who don't, but when I played MV (I'm playing the household with the three sisters, there), I noticed that every time I went anywhere, almost all of the townies were wearing shades. I was going into Edit in CAS with all of them to remove them, because it bugged me. Of course, silly me, I hadn't realized at the time that I could use Nraas Dresser to simply remove all accessories from all outfits, and it would have been much easier.
@MiaSkywalker have you tried uninstalling the Hewnsman set from the launcher? If it's installed it must be somewhere in the Launcher. Than you should be ablo to reinstall and it should work
I think that pound cake is indeed the same! @Odonata68, it's delicious with cherry as well, or chocolate sprinkles
But with Dutch cake I meant to say a cake usually is rectangular here like that cake, we cut of slices of our cakes as soon as it's a cirkel we call it taart lol! So if we want to translate taart to English we always have to think twice, would this be a cake or a pie?
Don't forget to take care of yourself every now and then in this big chaotic world!

I hadn't thought of that. Oh man, going through that whole list to find it! Sometimes that doesn't work, too. But it's something I can try, certainly.
Oh now I have another mod I'll have to look into that nraas dresser!
Dresser is useful, but it can also be a pain. One of the things it does is occasionally randomize a townie's clothing, so you'll find a townie that you've dressed very carefully in specific clothing, suddenly wearing something completely different. You just have to remember that after you've changed a townie's outfits, to click the Sim, select NRaas => Dresser and set Protected to True. That way neither Dresser nor the game itself will mess with the outfits that you've set for him/her.

I hope it does work for you! It sure is a pain to do it, but for me it always worked so far! And if it doesn't work when installing the full set you can try item by item. Good luck

Finally was able to gift @missroxor her Sunlit Tides Gold prize. I sat down this morning and rather doggedly earned all the points i would need, and then, of course, the site tells me I don't have enough points. (rolls eyes) Had to log out and back in to make it realize that yes, indeed, I did have enough points for it.
And in the meantime... here's a beautiful castle that I saw and immediately thought is extremely impractical, completely impossible, but absolutely, stunningly beautiful. I just wanted to share it with anyone who wants to see it. (And if you wanted to TRY to make it... who am I to stop you? )
There's no way anyone could LIVE in that, but it sure is nice eye candy, isn't it?

Pretty awesome if we had options to make 11 floor levels I'd try it but five is not enough

@MiaSkywalker ty yes that does help, I'm working on LLL so that I can get march 2013 down ( cinema plumbob ). Wow love the pic, but you would be insane by the time you finished that one...lol
Wow that's stunning but definitely impractical like you said lol, kinda reminds of the amazing stuff that people in minecraft can make
These are just a select few
Thank you Mia ^_^ It has helped me get one step closer to owning Hacienda Luxury & Villa Paraíso
I didn't know you could do stuff like that in Minecraft. I've never really been interested in that game, but that makes me a little curious. But only a little. The lego look just doesn't appeal to me. But those, those do look amazing.
Mine craft is actually what got me to finally try sims 3! I was looking at buildings to build in mine craft and I kept coming across beautiful things people had built in the sims 3! I still wasn't to sure how my lovely old laptop was going to handle it and now I have all but 4 expansion packs 2 of which I don't know if I do want!
Minecraft! That was fun, I played it with my friend some time ago. We tried to create something of a huge dwarven cave, kind of like LOTR-style. We never finished or even came close, just digging out all those blocks took way too much time, haha.
And thanks @MiaSkywalker your gift brought me closer to Everyday – Cool Summer Nights!

Thanks @MiaSkywalker I had that interview today and it went well so tonight I'm gonna treat myself to a much needed vacation in Sunlit Tides
Hi guys I just thought I would share this historic house plans site I just found the full plans on there cost money but if you're like me you just need the pictures of each floor to help you build a house!

You know, I think I've seen houses like these on places like MTS. And yes, sometimes just seeing what the outside looks like can help. You don't really need to follow the inner rooms the same way, and in fact they probably wouldn't always work in the Sims anyway.
Just the other day I was surfing around and came across floor plans for a chateau. Then out of curiosity I went to the parent site, and found a whole lot of outside pictures of various chateaux for sale. Very interesting, and I think at some point I might try some of them. (Maybe even for tanu's current rodeo, if the person I draw wants something like that. )
@MiaSkywalker Just wanted to share 2 photos of the house I'm just beginning in Lucky Palms ( which you so kindly gifted me )
Wow, that's really interesting! I love how you used those half walls to kind of give it an organic look on the top. That's not something that it would ever have occurred to me to do. I also like how you recolored sections of it (it's hard to just recolor a section!) to match the walls below it. Once again, not something that ever occurs to me to do.
It certainly looks like it would fit into that world very well. I've only played LP once, and it reminded me a great deal of my time in Arizona and Nevada. (Which is, of course, the intent.) Is that an indoor pool? No, maybe it's not; that looks like a half wall blocking it from the street. Pools are pretty common in deserts, at least among the more affluent population. I remember one time flying over Phoenix, and seeing what looked like every backyard with a pool when I looked down at the city.
