Are you looking for deep and meaningful? Do you yearn for an insight into the mind of an artist? Well, you are going to have look an awful lot further than this!
But while you are searching you can always read my May entry!
Without further ado may I present to you the low budget, over acted, straight to TV tale...
I've got my May short story done! The Curse of the Black Bracelet. @Carewren123
As a bonus, you also get some complaining about how children in The Sims 4 can't wear rings!
I haven't finished my story, so I haven't started reading the others' stories. But I really love the names of the stories!
Mine is going to be banal.
Happy simming and writing everyone!
I have an amazing idea for my story, almost the entire plot set and stone, but the starter is really tripping me up. :P So I fear that I may end up writing all of it in the last minute, because, knowing me, I can't write anything unless it's in order...
Good news: I've finally got the starter up and working for my story! And I've almost finished typing up the story, with cues for myself as to what pictures to get and where to put them.
Bad news: My game is acting up. It froze while loading up University, so I had to forcefully close it with the task manager thing. Now, when trying to open it up again, it's frozen on a black screen.
More good news: This has happened before. I just have to shut my computer down and turn it back on. I'm going to wait to shut it down tonight, let it rest, then turn it back on and try again tomorrow. Until then, I'm going to keep writing my story and play some minecraft.
Even more good news: I might actually finish my story early this month!
I got my sims game working again. So, I decided to finish my story. 10 pm tonight, and I've finished my story! ^-^ I've finished early! It may not be the best story out there, but... I'm proud of it. Cruising in with 805 words and 8 pictures, I welcome you to...
Ugh I hope I can find another idea this month. I actually had one but it's exactly the same as ra3rei's xD I know I could claim ignorance and write it anyway since I had the idea on my own but I don't feel comfortable with that so I'm going to find something new ^^
@remi_narrow This question came up before in this thread and here's what we agreed on back then: The word limit is part of the challenge therefore stories with higher wordcount won't be accepted - plus, it wouldn't be fair to everyone who worked hard to cut their words down to fit the limit if we change up the rules now. You can post your story anyway but it won't be up for voting If I'm wrong @Carewren123 feel free to correct me and ignore everything I said that's just how I remember it
@remi_narrow : There is a "Just for Fun" section every month. Stories that were written on the monthly theme but went over on word count, screencap limit, were submitted after the time frame, or request to be in the "Just for Fun" section still get linked from the thread, but aren't included in the monthly voting poll.
Thanks @Julyvee94 and @mastressalita for answering @remi_narrow. That's pretty much it. We had a bit of group discussion about in the first month of these challenges. Most everyone felt it only fair to stick strictly to each month's word limit. But that's part of the reason we switch up the word limit some months. Just treat it as part of the challenge (and hopefully fun) of it. And yes there's always the "For Fun" section if you want.
@mastressalita & @Carewren123 Thank you so much for replying! I couldn't reply earlier since I was busy working on my story. I managed to cut it down to 1500 words! It took me over an hour LOL But I did it finally! Yay me!
So here's presenting to you, a bitter sweet love story...
PS: This story is inspired by the true story of someone very close to my heart I hope the story is moving enough and that it will have the desired effect on whoever reads it!
Also: just want to say that I wrote this before I read any of the submissions! So far, I've only read two of the submissions--and my story shares so many symbols, moods, and feelings with both! So! I guess we're tuning into the archetypes of spring and growth. So neat to see how we all interpret this, and what themes and images run through our shared experiences of being alive on this beautiful planet!
I got my screenshots today, but since I am going on vacation next week, I'm freaking out about being able to get it written in time (as I return on the 31st -_-;; ) *crosses fingers*

Well. Ten screenshots and about 400 words. Actually I've written everything I wanted. But I need another hundred of words. Does anyone have some extra words? (Joking of course. )
I haven't really been on here much so just stopping in to say hi! Good luck to everyone on these last few days I'm really excited for this particular theme when it comes to reading entries because it can go absolutely anywhere.

...
Off to searching for a couple of hundreds words.
Happy simming and writing, everyone!
Meow is a very good word... and of course, "Growl!" works well... and how about "too big, too small, just right!"
May your words grow with all the fondness of a writer's imagination!
@CathyTea Great!
Now I know the ending of my story:
... And here comes the cat. And meows:
"To meow or not to meow. That is the question.
While I grow, I meow.
A growing mind is a meowing body.
Meow-meow. Meow-meow. Meow-meow." A hundred of meows.
