@OhMyHemsworth nice make over, I love Kara and Kayson they're adorable, heh I haven't had any biters yet but maybe Maggie will...yeah from the Simpsons. I made them and played a little so I'll put those pics in the spoiler, went back and redid an old build of mine for them.

Before I had Lisa use her new set Maggie wanted to play with her she's already picked her favorite.
Though she threw a tantrum not long after when she had too many blocks, Abe was too busy complaining about how cold it was to really do anything.

Sent Marge to the kitchen as the family might starve if she isn't in charge of cooking.
"Boy you stop that right now."
"Or what fatso?"
"Why you little, you're lucky I have to discipline you another way in this world."
"Eat my shorts."
The welcome wagon showed up and since Marge was busy she sent Homer and his father out, Homer wasn't really interested in the girl that thought they looked like twins.
"So any good bars around here?"
"Uh...maybe."
"Lisa likes Milhouse nananana."
"You're going to have to try harder than that Bart, he doesn't even exist here."
"Lisa's boyfriend disappeared nana."
"Oh brother.."
I don't think Marge trusts him around the chemicals Lisa is using she came to supervise.
I thought Lily might come over to complain about non existent noise but she wanted to see Victor though he was asleep and I wasn't waking him up for her.

Iya is very much ahead of me this is the first time she's shown more of an interest than woohoo, embracing or getting an extra kiss she's very affectionate so that's normal for her now it seems she wants a little more. Though there is only one issue with that.
As if looking up for advice Victor knows how to take care of that too.
"I have to run a quick errand Iya."
"Uh..okay." she wondered if he was going back to his wife, soured her mood a bit but she told herself she'd get over it, she was much tougher than that.
"Well if it isn't my pathetic little play thing."
"Excuse me?"
"Going deaf too dear?"
He rolled his eyes.
"Look Lily there is something I'd been meaning to ask you."
"What might that be? Anything to do with the kid and it's no."
"No I want a divorce."
"That's not a very funny joke."
"Good, because it isn't one."
Realizing he wasn't kidding she snapped.
"Are you out of your mind! Do you know what this would do to my reputation??"
"I don't care Lily, you can rebuild it you have enough fake friends."
"That isn't the point Victor."
"How could you do this to me I thought we were in love."
Hearing a snort he resisted the urge to just walk away, she couldn't even pretend to have feelings she only laughed a while before cutting herself off as she'd always been the 'laughing too much is childish' sort of person.
"Stop that."
He stared at her, once she told him she used water proof liner for her fake little fits he wondered how often she used that trick.
"Oh fine, I don't need you anyways."
"I know, so send your signature in and we'll be done."
"Whatever Victor just remember there is nothing for you in that apartment."
"Goodnight Lily have a good life."
"You'll always be trash and noone ever really cares about trash now do they?"
Ignoring her baiting he headed back.
"So is everything okay?"
"Yeah just needed to tell Lily not to bother coming back."
She was surprised.
"You told her about us?"
"It's not really her business but she'll find out I think she knows anyhow."
"It'll be okay."
"I'm not that bothered."
"You were with her a long while weren't you? It's okay if it bothers you but I'm here if you want to vent."
"Thank you Iya but I'll be fine."
I did get him a journal though.

I was started to feel that familiar confidence again as we started getting ready to go to the party. Seems that Serio desperately needed to go out too.
"And so my boss just tosses all my papers on the floor saying. 'I want results, Serger. Give me a logo that doesn't look like a baboon's behind by next week or you're fired.' Bad enough he called me after a sewing machine, but he didn't even let me show him the work on had the tablet. Ugh. He's insufferable sometimes."
"Aw poor baby. Sounds like you'll be hitting the juice a bit tonight, huh."
"I can tell you from experience, you won't get anything off the zesty salt. Just a heads up."
"Who's going to this shindig anyways that we might know, babe?"
"A couple co-workers, some friends from high school, oh and Shannon. You remember him?"
"From the career fair, yeah. Said he was considering going into espionage. Is he bringing 'Ghost' along as well? Ugh...Didn't like that guy."
"Probably. He is his brother after all. Gotta tolerate your siblings sometimes.
I had never heard of those two before. Little did I know I was going to know them very well after this party.
At the party, I was just becoming acquainted with a pale looking man as I heard Katlyn taking to a red-headed guy. He seemed rather boyish, although also boisterous from the sound of his voice.
"Kitty! How've ya been? You take up that job after?"
"No. I ended up working for Feng Industries."
"Oh dwam! You're workin' for the sour peach!! She's a right old piece of work. Maybe should bug 'er office with fart noises sometime. Make things interestin' at your job."
Thinking back on it now, I actually feel a bit flustered...not in a bad way...from what I overheard between Katlyn and Shannon.
"Oi...Who's the black-haired missus?"
"Your accent is showing, Shannon, who you talking about?"
"That lil crow over there talkin' with Ghost."
"Whoa there Seabiscuit! First off, her name is Raven and second off, stay away from her."
"What are ya talkin' about?"
"I know you, Shannon. You go after anything with a pulse. I remember you hitting up those ladies at the career fair at the nectar booth."
"I was tryin' for free drinks. If anything it twas practice for my work."
"Yeah well Raven is...different."
"Now ya got my interest peaked, Kitty Kat. What's up with her?"
"Aside from being a bit shy, nothing that I can really tell. Just...You gotta take things easy with her. She's had a hard few weeks and she's a bit sensitive."
"Aw Kitty. You sayin' I can't sensitive?"
"No, I'm saying you tend to be hyper."
It was then I found out that Nick and Shannon were related.
"Sounds like my brother might be smitten with you."
"Who?"
"My brother Shannon over there."
"Well, be sure to tell him that I'll take his crush as a compliment."
"Not surprised actually. He's always been into the oddballs."
"Hm? Oddballs?"
Nick brought me over to the other side of the party.
"You see everyone out there?"
"Yeah..."
"You see all the ladies out there?"
"Yes..."
"Well amongst them, you stand out, and not in a 'cocktail dress' sort of way. If your body was any broader they could use you as a barn door!"
Nick chuckled to himself, my self-esteem falling really low once again. I hadn't told him that I was transitioning, which was probably good considering the insult he used assuming I was a full woman.
I sat away from the party then, not wanting to be seen as a 'barn door' by any of the other party guests.
I saw Serio confronting Nick just after our conversation, him telling me later what happened.
"Dude, don't ever do that again."
"What are you talking about?"
"I heard what you said to Raven. That was rude and totally uncool."
"What? I was only telling the truth. She's a very brawny lady."
"Yeah and is getting over getting disowned by her parents, you snake."
"Disowned?"
"Yeah. Something I'm surprised your parents haven't done."
Katlyn soon came over to comfort me.
"You okay gorgeous?"
"About as okay as a barn door: Weather beaten and stripped of paint..."
"Oh Raven. That was just Nick talking. He can be a big jerk at times."
"But he also said that his brother was attracted to oddballs. What's more odd than a woman who could make other girls feel like Lettuce Leaf Baby Dolls with her height?"
"Shanty's a romantic, Raven. He knows what he likes and shouldn't matter in that case. He's got a crush on you, girl! He even gave you a pet name even before he knew your name."
"A...pet...name? He...He finds me adorable?"
"Totally! He called you "Lil Crow". Maybe he was using some irony, but knowing Shannon, that means he likes you. Want me to give him your number? Believe me, he's nothing like Nick."
"Well...I guess it wouldn't hurt. If anything it would be nice to have another friend."
"Trust me, gorgeous. He's hyper and can't go anywhere without a toy in his pocket, but he's a real sweetheart."
I'd soon find out after how much she was right.
I shall just be a brief moment. Need to...umm...powder my nose.

after this I'll just wait for the new page, had that odd bug I don't like..well no bugs are likeable but it's like their queue is too full or something and they want to do it all but they don't move, just the sim you're using that is, ah well repaired game it was probably too busy anyhow. The twins got different projects funny that Tom got the more 'arsty' one when Sam is stuck with electronics, I'm glad they build skills while working on these, makes sense with them building things just didn't know they would which is great.
Ha just the scene sending kids to snack so they can work on homework their sister is exhausted and it's Leslie's turn to adult so she's getting up in a second no need to get cozy.
While the parents are away.
they joined their brothers in the back since they were right next to each other Veronica and Nadine talked while they worked.
As he realizes his family is on a bad schedule...this is the glitch, see everyone is working but Sam and Reggie are stuck that way, eventually resetting them a few times helped but I'm not too sure what was doing it.
Glitch wise everything is fine after....but as the sun is coming up kids were up late finishing their regular homework and the girls got to be a few seconds before this pic was taken oh my poor kids..lol. Just a few more z's before school just wait till the weekend.
As I got the glitch again noticed him shunning Hugo for not being as cool as he is.
I think the glitch might be Reggie's fault though he doesn't have cc, Sam didn't freeze until interacting with him there was a vampire but she wasn't going to come in while they were awake which causes glitches I noticed I reset her by dropping a trashcan on her and that's what fixed it. Then he tried to interact with Annie and she froze with him while everything else was working as usual. Then there was the speed glitch where everything just keeps working as expected...but while it's supposed to be frozen as I was in buy mode. I haven't seen that one in while so can't be sure what caused it though opening and closing buy mode fixed that part. I never know for sure.

@RedDestiny92 Glitches can happen with almost anything I find. And there have been some reports with the Parenthood pack too so could be that. Looks like homework has been getting really intense now that there's projects to do.

Right. Shannon. Like I said, I agreed to Kat in giving my number to the redhead. I mean if anything I could suggest for us to be friends. He definitely didn't sound like his brother.
Next week, I got a call.
"Hm? I don't think I know that number...doesn't look like a spammer though."
"Hello?...Yes this is Raven...Oh it's you...Yes I remember you...From the party, yes. To be honest I expected you to...well actually I didn't expect...Oh that's why. Yes I can see that...Hm?...Breakfast? Well I don't see why not. Katlyn and Serio are gone to work so I really don't have anything to do...Yes I've heard of that place...Sure. I'll meet you there."
I later met Shannon at a nearby family restaurant that had opened up just last week on top of one of the vacant penthouse lots.
"They certainly like their bright colors here."
"Mhm. Been eyein' it since I heard about it and saw the flyers on Simbook."
"Table for two?"
"Ah...Yes please."
As we were seated, I noticed Shannon looking at me up and down. I wasn't exactly sure how to feel about it. Was he judging me? Did he...know? Was Katlyn right in that he was still infatuated with me?
"So umm...You see anything you like?"
"Huh? Oh I ah...they got some fancy breads and toasts here!"
"Isn't that the same thing?"
"Same family, different upbringing."
I honestly had to laugh at that one.
"I'll just get the oatmeal I think. I'm...trying to watch my figure..."
"I can watch that if ya want."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
Shannon had to get up to use the washroom, the waiter coming while I placed our orders. I had to admit, I was starting to feel good about myself again, hoping things would work out between Shannon and me. If anything he seemed like a fun guy to hang out with.
Shannon soon came back.
"So I don't think I've ever seen ya around before last week. Where are ya from?"
I hesitated for a moment.
"Well...far away. I had an incident with my family so that's why I'm living with Katlyn now until I can eventually afford my own place."
"My father gots connection through his job. We might be able to find ya some work if that's what's holdin' ya back."
I felt my stomach twist a bit.
"I appreciate the offer, but there aren't many places that would want to hire me honestly."
"What?! You're kiddin'! A beautiful thing like you and you can't find work! Why? Ya didn't go to college or somethin'? I knows my brother is a pain but if all else fails, I knows he's goin'..."
"No, no it's...well...I...I'm transitioning and employers I find aren't into that..."
Oh boy. It was out then. I started to wonder how Shannon was going to react.
Before he could say anything though, our food arrived.
We ate quietly, myself still wondering what his thoughts were...
Although I did find a way for silence to be loud. Dear sweet plums that lady's garments. Fits with the theme but definitely not a look for her.
After we ate, Shannon spoke with me in calmer, but still cheerful tone.
"Tis a shame they don't hire ya, ya know? Ya seems like a smart lady, and a bit of diversity in a workplace never 'urt anyone. Plum with my job, we get all kinds. Best for espionage and all that. Now I can't tell anything else about what I does, but I'm just sayin' that it shouldn't matter what ya are so long as you're qualified for the job. If you're becoming a woman, ya can still write up stuff, move stuff, do anythin' normal jobs need, right? An' if a business doesn't see it that way, they get no respect from me."
He took out a placemat of all things, appearing to be ready to draw on it.
"So...You don't mind that I'm not a full woman...That I wear make-up and lady wears."
Shannon laughed, shrugging as he made a silly face.
"I wears make-up all the time, and not just for my job. And depending on the lady wears, I'll buy it if it's comfortable or cute. But I still considers myself a guy. Only difference with you though is that you're a woman. And if I might add, a very beautiful one at that."
I was overwhelmed. I know it might sound silly, but words like that were something I needed, especially after last week.
"Well I...I appreciate the compliment..."
"It ain't a compliment: Tis the truth. You're a wonderful woman, Raven. And anyone that would say otherwise should get their head out of their rear."
"I dunno about that. I mean...people are attracted to different things."
Shannon returned to his more calm self.
"Yes, but attraction is different from respect ya know. Someone may not be attracted to ya because of what you're going through, but they should still respect ya and consider you as a woman."
I felt my body become warm.
"Katlyn was right about you. You are rather sweet."
"Well I tries. You're not gonna make many friends bein' a pain in the croissant."
I was about ready to go for the afternoon when Shannon stopped me for a moment.
"I'm usually off on Saturdays. You wanna go to the park or somethin'? Maybe let Kitty and Serio have some time to themselves?"
I felt a grin form across my lips.
"I'd love to."
I'll be back in a moment. Need to use the washroom again. Why is it so far away?!

Didn't have time to play yesterday; had to run off and get my hair highlights refreshed then did errands and had dinner out with my husband. Not sure who'll I'll be focusing on today; both Cassidy and Aicha had their babies (Cassidy had little Jaxon, and Aicha had a little girl I named Kiara). I want to keep moving Cassidy up in her career, so I might end up focusing on her, and maybe go ahead and age up Jaxon shortly so she can start trying to cope with single parenthood.

My sim just adopted a kid named Rusty who is an art lover. Phew. A while ago a different sim I had adopted a sweet looking girl only to find out she was evil lol.
@stilljustme2 Shannon respects those that respect him and others. That's why he's still a bit at odds with his brother at times, even though Nick is getting better at trying to not be a jerk.

After the first time we hanged out together, Shannon and I started going out every weekend. I was still working odd jobs during the week, which was fine since Shannon was usually busy during those days anyways. Sadly, that included Fridays, but every Saturday would bring some sort of adventure.

"I don't know why you're wanting ringers so much. You're already beating me by 20 points."
"Yeah but tis the principle of it all!"
"Ya mind movin' to the left. I'm missing a wonderful view."
"Of what?"

There were times we would hit up the bar too. The first time we went was how I found out about just how eccentric Shannon would go with his looks. Not that it mattered to him, or even myself. He was still fun to be around.
"A bit of extra mousse helps keep it in place. Also works if your hair grows like a dandelion like mine does."
Fooseball was usually our game of choice..
Even if Shannon kept losing.
"How ya even learn to spin those things for fast anyways?"

And it was one night at the discotheque...
That I finally gave him my response to his infatuation with me.

Eventually, the time came for me to meet Shannon's parents. He suggested having me over to dinner, his mom having a roast chicken with some pie she made from scratch. I also got to meet his father and...well...see Nick again.
"I tell ya boys I'm some happy you didn't get into the fisheries like I did. I likes bein' on a boat but being stuck in the home office doin' up fishery policies isn't all that fun."
"I don't see an issue with it. At least being in an office means not having to deal with disgusting fish."
"Ah don't be like that, Ghost. If it weren't for dad, ya wouldn't be getting that fancy caviar stuff that you likes to eat at that club of yours."
"It's not a 'club'. It's a writer's guild! Besides, The caviar there is much different."
While Shannon chatted with his brother and father, his mother turned to me.
"You've been awfully quiet, dear."
"Hm? Oh I'm just enjoying the meal."
"Well I'm glad you're enjoying it. But no need to be a stranger. Where are you from, dear? Who's your crowd as my husband would say?"
"My...crowd?"
"Your family. Who knit ya?"
I turned my head in shame, not wanting to answer.
"I...I'd rather not talk about it."
"Mmph...Oh go on, girl. I've been around for a long time. I'm sure it isn't anything I haven't heard."
I sighed.
"I...I have no family. I was...as far as my family is concerned, Miss Burke, I'm dead."
"Oh my! Are you homeless? Do...Do you have a place to stay?"
"She's currently stayin' with Kat and Serio. Good lot but they can be...loud," said Shannon,interjecting as I tried to brace for what his mother would say next.
"Oh my. How did such a sweet darling like you get into such a predicament?"
"I don't feel comfortable talking about it at the moment, Miss Burke. All you...you need to know was that it wasn't anything illegal. We just...They didn't want me anymore..."
Just then, Shannon's mom became excited. Now I knew who he got his energy from.
"I just had a wonderful idea! Instead of being stuck in that lil apartment with Katlyn and Serio, why not stay with us?"
I blinked for a moment.
"Are...Are you sure?"
"Of course! Our house is big enough and you can stay in Nick's room once he leaves for college later on. We got a blowup mattress in the meantime."
Nick suddenly fumed, although I wasn't surprised.
"You're not letting that...that freak sleep in my room while I'm away!"
I heard Shannon whisper harshly to him.
"Oi! They don't know about her yet like that so shut it or I'll find a way to shut it for you!!"
Shannon's mother apparently also had his fury as well. Either that or it was from her that Nick got his mean streak.
"I don't know what you two are talking about but under this roof, we don't go calling people 'freaks'. Unless she has a second head growing on her back or was a descendant of the lizard people, she's still a person and under this roof, you'll treat her with respect. And it won't matter if she sleeps in your bed or not, Nicholas Barnaby Traverse. You'll be off to New Island and she'll be stuck without a good night's sleep if she stays with those two. Now straighten up!"
To say Nick was not impressed would have been an understatement.
Shannon's mom took me aside.
"Are you alright, dear? I'm sorry if we all upset you."
"N...No I...I'm fine..."
"Dunno why Nick was calling you a freak but he should know better."
"I...It's because I...I'm transitioning, ma'am. I...I guess I should have something before. If you want me to leave..."
"Don't you even dare," she said.
"Are...Are you sure?"
"wholeheartedly! Now I don't understand too much about transgender or transitioning or the like, but I can understand that you're a person that needs a better place to rest her head. And if we can offer it, we will. Right Marcus?"
I heard Shannon's Dad shout from the kitchen.
"So long as ya don't be stealing my shampoo."
"Marcus you fool you barely have any hair left to shampoo. Besides, that my shampoo you keep using. Why you think your hairs been curlier lately?"
I couldn't help but laugh. Aside from the mishap with Nick. I was starting to feel happy again.
I had to give Shannon's mom a hug.
"Thank you, Miss Burke. You don't know how much this all means to me."
"Of course, dear. Under this roof, you shouldn't have to be someone you're not. Now call up your friends and bring your stuff over here. Then you and the boys can help clear the table."

Spammers I swears. I'm on the list for no-call and yet I still get them. Anyways, I was talking about staying at Shannon's place.
Katlyn was home, saying she would bring my stuff over later on after she did some overtime for Mrs. Feng. Something about trying to find the source of the constant fart noises in her office. While I waited, I helped Shannon and Nick clear the table. While Shannon went to take a call for work, I was now alone with Nick in the kitchen.
Nick knew about how I was transitioning (apparently pried it out of Shannon one night while their parents were out) and used any moment he had to pester me about it whenever I saw him, going so far as to not even acknowledge me how I saw myself.
"It still baffles me how a male like you could degrade themselves like this? Pretending they're a woman. You failed to man-up so you decided to try and live as the opposite sex? It's disgusting! Have you no shame?"
I was on a short fuse that moment.
"I don't have to be ashamed of a proven condition, Nick. I am female. I was born in the wrong body and will be going through procedures someday to correct it."
"Hope your insurance can cover a lobotomy."
"Look, Nicholas! I've already told you it's not that kind of condition. I'm not a loon!"
"Ooohh...Trying to emphasize the point with my full name, huh Raven? Or should I call you by your real name. Well, Romero?"
I shrieked back. Ever since I had been kicked out of my parents' place, I went by my wanted name, Raven. For me, Romero was a long forgotten memory I didn't want to bring up. I never even told Shannon what my original name was and now Nick of all people knew?!
I begged in a whisper.
"Please. Not even Shannon knows that name and I'd prefer to keep it that way. I go by Raven. Just...how did you find out?"
"The Sims National Business Daily Report. See I read it online as preparation for my business courses. Granted not all the articles are sound, but an interesting one showed up last month about the associate bank manager Dominic Rosales. Aside from the usual interview questions about how he manages finances and how he handled the terrifying requisitions scandal, there was an interesting question about his family and the absence of his son, Romero. He said his son died in an accident, but looking at the picture, I found you have quite the resemblance to him. You don't have family, they don't have a son. I figured there was some connection."
A picture in an article of all things! That was how that snake figured it out!
Nick then started laughing hard at me.
"I guess you were right then! You are dead to them! Oh sweet irony!"
"Wh...What are you even going on about?"
"That you could have been even more well off than my father and yet you figuratively murdered yourself for this delusion of yours. What does poor Raven Rosales have to her name? No family and having to work washing dishes at a local restaurant before they kick you out again for being the freak you are. Good luck trying to get real work while being such a tomato! No one's gonna hire someone that they can't tell what they are!"
I couldn't take it anymore. I ran upstairs to hide in Shannon's bed, weeping hard. I don't know what Nick's problem was with me. I wasn't hurting him. It was as if just my mere existence and situation set him off. Eventually, I heard Shannon come up.
"Hm? Now I don't remember my bed being that lumpy before...nor cryin'. Raven, love. What's wrong? Did Ghost tease ya again?"
I got out of the bed, sniffling.
"N...Nick figured out what my name was before I went with 'Raven'. Said he figured out who my dad was and apparently, they really do consider me dead! I never even told you about any of it! I wanted to wait for the right time!! He called me delusional, a freak!"
"Aw Lil Crow..." Shannon lamented, holding me. "I never even asked about your old name cause, well...Raven is your name to me. When ya found out what ya were, you also found your name, right? That has been your name all along if you ask me. And I don't know any guy that would be lucky enough to have a girlfriend with such a wonderful name."
I paused for a moment.
"G...Girlfriend?"
"I was gonna wait until later when we were alone, but I wanted to ask you: Did you wanna go steady? Make all this flirtin' and every thing official between us?"
We had been on and off taking about the idea. I just wasn't expecting Shannon to make the first move.
"Well...We have been talking about it..."
"I knows it might not be the best time to be asking you. I mean Nick could ruin a political party with that tongue of his sometimes."
"No, no. I'm over Nick's antics now. I just wanted to figure out...."
"How we should tell your parents. Yes, Shannon. I'll go steady!"
His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree then. It was almost magical how his youthful personality started to shine through.
"You will! Oh sweet mighty this is perfect! It's like getting the best birthday present ever!"
He hugged right into me.
"I promise to be the best boyfriend ya could ever want!"
"Oh Shannon, you silly. You're already the best boyfriend ever by asking me to be your girlfriend."

@LosaruTaiyo sometimes the best you can do is hold your head high and not let people like Nick, those who look for a soft spot to attack, get to you it's a hard pill to swallow but necessary to really build self-confidence. As bullies are too often pathetic little insects that simply have nothing going for them once you take that, what little 'control' they have, away they crumble. You can watch as a proud victor something I've lived by for a long time, Raven is a good sprinkle she doesn't have to put up with that.

@LosaruTaiyo Nick's relentless teasing gave me flashbacks of my elementary years. Like @RedDestiny92 said, bullies crave for that little control over their victims, but once it's lost they're nothing. Hopefully Raven can beat this bug that is Nick and not let his words bring her life down. It certainly is hard to start, I mean, I'm still struggling with it truly, but nothing is better than finding that freedom and not letting other people's words restrict your expression and your happiness.
Part 5 was on page 452. In the last part Anya and Jordan have finally made the move to Forgotten Hollow. How will they find living in the old, quiet town?
Forgotten Hollow isn't as frightening has they initially thought. Aside from the occasional ominous sounds, there were tons of regular people walking about. Not a vampire in sight since the girls moved in.
It would seem that nighttime in this neighbourhood lingers on longer than it used to. At least the environment is illuminated effectively, providing a rather nice ambience.
Jordan decides to explore a bit to kill time.
At the top of that path was a withered tree and a few rocks. Nothing too exciting. Time to head back home.
"So what do you think? Do you like the neighbourhood?"
"It's quaint, dark, and secluded. Yeah, I like it here."
"You see? I know what's best for us. And now that we're settled in we'll be needing jobs. Just so you know I've already submitted our resumes to the crime ring."
Ugh, typical Anya. Ever since they were little she was always deciding things for Jordan without her consent. And it's not like Jordan can refuse her because anytime she does Anya "breaks out." On top of having a mean streak, Anya hates when things don't go her way. How tiresome... Well, just like all the other times Jordan will have to give in. How bad could being a criminal be anyways?
"Jordan? You heard what I said, right?"
"Um, okay...? Night Jordan. Talk to you in the morning, I suppose..."
It became clear that some trying times were ahead of her, so Jordan will have to keep her spirits up. After all, Anya and her only have each other now. If things were going to work out they would need to stick together.

I haven't posted in forever but I've still been reading everyone's posts and @LosaruTaiyo, I love Raven and the story you've got going with her
Anyway, if anybody remembers Cara, she proposed to her boyfriend and they had a cute lil wedding (had to try twice, he didn't show up the first time :P)
Also, in celebration of pride month, I let my simself go swimming, which is something I haven't been comfortable doing in real life for a long time (I found some handy little chest scars but idk how well you can see them in this pic)
@stilljustme2 I realized that this morning. Believe me it was just coincidence, but an amazing one at that.
@RedDestiny92 At least in 2nd World, that Nick realized what he had done. If he hadn't poor Sakura would have still been stuck down in that dungeon.
@HopeyStarr S'pose she could have put them in worse careers. Ever handle the start of the culinary career? XP Also, love that shot of the moon. And yeah, Raven will get over it. In that one Nick went off to New Island College by that point.

Mmph...Sorry. I was just finishing my lunch when you called me back. Where was I?
Once Nick moved out to go to college, I got his bed to sleep in. I will say it was really comfortable. His room was also a big contrast to Shannon's. Everything was neat and his room was much bigger. According to his mom, Shannon stayed in the 'kids room' when the boys were old enough for their own rooms. I also had to admit that the Christmas tree on the desk was cute.
Something odd I saw though was the hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall. Shannon's guess was so that he didn't get any germs from his purchases at the flea markets when he went looking for antiques.
And then I saw the picture covering the hole in the wall. Shannon didn't seem to know why it was there. According to his father, Nick had punched the hole in the wall after having a meltdown for some reason. Something told me Nick had issues that he hadn't really told any of his family.
A few weeks later, Shannon took me to the park for a date.
"Babe you're the best thing that ever happened to me ya know."
"So are you. I don't think I'd even be alive were it not for you and your family."
"Speaking of that though, Raven. I need to talk to you. I'm planning on moving out."
"O..Oh? For work?"
I was actually caught off-guard for a moment. I wasn't expecting Shannon to be planning on moving, considering how close he was to his parents.
"Actually..." he said, suddenly getting down on one knee.
"It's for this. Raven Rosales, will you marry me?"
I had to blink for a moment, trying to take it all in.
"Of...Of course! Of course I'll marry you!!"
I slipped the ring on my finger.
"Oh Shannon this must have cost a fortune!"
"Kinda. I had to save a lot of my salary for it, but I thought if you would be sayin' yes, it would be worth it."
I couldn't help but kiss him. My heart was humming with joy!
Shannon then brought me close, saying softly.
"You're the most precious thing to me in this entire world and I wanna be there with you throughout all your joy, all your pain, and support you through all that you wish to go through. I love you, Lil Crow."
I chuckled.
"You can sometimes be quite the romantic you know."
"Oh. Tis romance you want, eh?"
Just then, he grabbed me around the waist...
Dipping me as he planted a hard kiss on my lips.
Shannon soon brought me back up. I was so overwhelmed though that I didn't want to let go of the kiss with my now fiance.
Once we did though, I could feel every part of my body fill with happiness.
"I...I never thought I'd be thinking about getting married someday. And now I'll need to start thinking about our wedding plans."
"Then hows about we go and find you a dress, hm?" said Shannon, myself still riding the high of realizing that I would soon be someone's wife.
I'll tell you later about the wedding. I need sleep.
Next time, Raven talks about the wedding.

Finally finished the bones for the Flex family's new home. It's a neat little 4 bedroom/3.5 bathroom Craftsman; featuring a slightly split-leveled Great Room with fire place, a breakfast area, and a large (for now) activity room that I may turn into a home theatre if I get the movie stuff pack soon. Now to get them moved in and furnish it.

Kara trying her best to teach Connor some manners.
Kayson likes to sing but he doesn't have any skill at it.. Poor guy
I don't think Connor likes it either. lol "He sound bad, Mommy."
He loves Kayson anyway and even calls him daddy.
Kara threw a house party and invited all her family over. Connor finally got to meet his Uncle Kevin! He adores him!
The party was going great..Then.. The unthinkable happened. Christian died!! He stood outside too long and burned up. Everyone was devastated, including me
Even little Connor cried for his Uncle.
Britta naturally took it the hardest, she was left with twin boys and soon found out Christian left her one last gift. She was pregnant, she had a baby girl named Charlotte.
They all look so much like their daddy.
I'm still not over losing Christian, I tried to bring him back but felt it would add to the story. I miss him though
Edit: @OhMyHemsworth now if I had waited a few seconds lol, anyways I was thinking aw how cute then we lost one of them just like that oh poor Britta and her babies are going to have to get by without their daddy so sad.
Okay so again I'm gonna leave my pics so I don't forget what I wanted to say for them, my thoughts have been short lately heh, I have pics from a few households to share so I'll put some of them in spoilers so it's a smaller post. Next time I won't collect so many but I do like seeing the differences.
This is Tony he lives in one of my newer builds with his husband and their two adopted daughters.
He's the more affectionate of the two they've had the girls since they were much smaller and they know Tony as dad, but Rick well he's just Rick he tries his best to avoid them.
"So are they asleep?"
"Yes Rick you can go upstairs."
"Finally why did you let them stay up so late."
"They had homework to finish."
"We just moved here what could they have to do?"
"They had packets to show where they were in school, they'll move them if they need to."
He was surprised he asked at all, and as he went to bed alone Rick finished his dinner of salad and...juice. We'll just keep calling it that lol.
The next morning the girls, Juliet, in pink, and her sister Eve came down to greet Tony.
"There's my girls, don't you look adorable." he cooed as he often did, that was just his way.
"Thanks what for lunch?" Eve asked.
"Who says I packed a lunch?"
"Daddy."
He grinned.
"PB&J."
"Morning Rick." Juliet said, she was often in her own little world, they really were adopted so I can't be blamed for her insanity.
Rick ignored her and Tony's sigh but Juliet brushed it off since she was used to it.
As Tony sent them to grab their lunch Juliet was rambling happily to herself.
"Who are you talking to sis?"
"All my friends."
"Uh...I see okay."
"Hey be nice."
"I was."
"Not you, Mr. Fluffers, he says I'm looking yellow today and I don't know what that means."
"Yeah..me neither."
That afternoon when the girls came home Eve was feeling irritated and let out a few forbidden words to make herself feel better, she knew Juliet wouldn't tell she hardly paid attention to anything that was said..unless it involved Mr. Fluffers, whoever that was.
Rick was tired from work but he also hates kids so it just seem to catch them just right, what he sees as well behaved kids giving him a migraine, while Tony adores them pieces. I had to go in and tweak a few things I forgot Eve had that buggy voice thing so I tweak a couple things and changed them up a little bit.
Here is their house.
Now my Evergreens they just adopted two kids but I aged the one we got first up, she had glasses so it's more like she's squinting without them, this is Bailey I spelled her name differently but this is her before her slight make over.
The story being that before they got their lottery winnings the Evergreens had been talking to her because they wanted to adopt they checked in on her so she wouldn't go with another family it had been a rather broken down group home she came from but she was a good kid. Though she's sensitive it appears she didn't know they'd get a second child and didn't even want to do her homework next to him, that's Dustin though I might change his name to Duncan instead he was insane but changed that to hot headed.
He seems to love her already and wants to get to know her.
Of course, you know these guys I jumped saves with them and Leslie is already hating me for it lol.
I fit them all in so she'll get over it.
Ah my girls.
Rick is already enjoying some time with his girls before I get back to bouncing him all over for collectibles.
This mostly amuses me because she is the more hands on parent so she can tell him what to do but she's not going to she knows he's trying.
Apparently a family that roughs it together stays together they adore one another and even little Annie isn't always fussy.
Another new family this is another sim I don't remember the first name of but it'll come to me, he was thrown under the bus essentially when his boss was caught embezzling though with the right dirty lawyer, not a trustworthy one a down and messed up one he took the fall he lost everything. This was after he lost his wife so he's raising his children alone...with nothing this is what his sweet little girl chooses to do.
"Sweetheart stop that."
"Okay daddy."
Second time doing it after cleaning up the first mess.
"Rawr!"
"Sweetheart."
"Okay I'm really done."
He has a hard time being strict with her because she looks so much like her mother and for her wild ways of entertaining herself she's just like her, she loves art and is very optimistic so she doesn't listen but her personality is a keeper. His son however is very different the sort of realist you couldn't take to funeral for being too thoughtless with his words. He thinks they're both lunatics.
"Dad how are we going to eat?"
"I'll get some money don't you worry about that."
"That's not reassuring, what about bathing, you're letting her waste your supplies."
"I'm not wasting them I'm creating!"
"Sure you are, tart."
"Be nice." to be fair he doesn't have much in the way of...parenting with his son either.
After a day of selling collectibles and what not got them a few things and my dear is...'creating' again.
The next night actually they came home with projects to keep them busy, she liked it...
Her brother, not so much.
Now back to another one you know ha, apparently standing far away enough means this area is for two sims, now I clicked to cancel it so it was working fine. I don't think Victor mines, she was cleaning and looks nice in those shorts ha.
"Have I told you how beautiful you look today?"
"Very funny, I know what you're looking at."
"So?" he asked chuckling.
His thoughts when apparently sad, he just doesn't like the place anymore.
Lily might just be realizing what she's lost, too late for that.
he got over her, he supposed he was feeling more sentimental than really down about the divorce.
It was soon go time, and we got twins oh and I don't remember both of them either lol.
Aged up....Izaiah, got it.
This is his sister the older twin.
Actually his brother I remember, this is Maxwell.
While the kids were playing he had a little chat with Iya.
"So I was thinking instead of remodeling upstairs I want to move."
"Where to?"
"I have a house waiting in Osasis Springs and it's all furnished now so we're definitely moving."
"A second house? To get away from Lily?"
"To get far away from Lily I used it after all my business trips...and don't bother asking because you were the only other woman I ever would have had to take there it was my place to go to relax."
She laughed.
"Well it's not my business but good to know, I guess."
"It is your business we have a family."
"Let me guess, the family should get bigger."
"I think so."
"Okay Victor but this is so the last baby."
"Really just like that?"
"Yeah why not I do love my babies after all, but not till we move."
"So you'll really stay?"
"Yeah I'll really stay you don't have to keep asking."
He chuckled.

"This place is huge."

"Just what did you need so much space for?"
"Well I had more parties back then."

Certainly not in Springfield anymore.
Before I had Lisa use her new set Maggie wanted to play with her she's already picked her favorite.
Though she threw a tantrum not long after when she had too many blocks, Abe was too busy complaining about how cold it was to really do anything.
"Even your wrath doesn't make it warmer."
Sent Marge to the kitchen as the family might starve if she isn't in charge of cooking.
"Boy you stop that right now."
"Or what fatso?"
"Why you little, you're lucky I have to discipline you another way in this world."
"Eat my shorts."
The welcome wagon showed up and since Marge was busy she sent Homer and his father out, Homer wasn't really interested in the girl that thought they looked like twins.
"So any good bars around here?"
"Uh...maybe."
"Lisa likes Milhouse nananana."
"You're going to have to try harder than that Bart, he doesn't even exist here."
"Lisa's boyfriend disappeared nana."
"Oh brother.."
I don't think Marge trusts him around the chemicals Lisa is using she came to supervise.
I thought Lily might come over to complain about non existent noise but she wanted to see Victor though he was asleep and I wasn't waking him up for her.

Iya is very much ahead of me this is the first time she's shown more of an interest than woohoo, embracing or getting an extra kiss she's very affectionate so that's normal for her now it seems she wants a little more. Though there is only one issue with that.
As if looking up for advice Victor knows how to take care of that too.
"I have to run a quick errand Iya."
"Uh..okay." she wondered if he was going back to his wife, soured her mood a bit but she told herself she'd get over it, she was much tougher than that.
"Well if it isn't my pathetic little play thing."
"Excuse me?"
"Going deaf too dear?"
He rolled his eyes.
"Look Lily there is something I'd been meaning to ask you."
"What might that be? Anything to do with the kid and it's no."
"No I want a divorce."
"That's not a very funny joke."

Realizing he wasn't kidding she snapped.
"Are you out of your mind! Do you know what this would do to my reputation??"
"I don't care Lily, you can rebuild it you have enough fake friends."

"How could you do this to me I thought we were in love."
Hearing a snort he resisted the urge to just walk away, she couldn't even pretend to have feelings she only laughed a while before cutting herself off as she'd always been the 'laughing too much is childish' sort of person.
"Stop that."
He stared at her, once she told him she used water proof liner for her fake little fits he wondered how often she used that trick.
"Oh fine, I don't need you anyways."
"I know, so send your signature in and we'll be done."
"Whatever Victor just remember there is nothing for you in that apartment."
"Goodnight Lily have a good life."
"You'll always be trash and noone ever really cares about trash now do they?"
Ignoring her baiting he headed back.
"So is everything okay?"
"Yeah just needed to tell Lily not to bother coming back."

I was started to feel that familiar confidence again as we started getting ready to go to the party. Seems that Serio desperately needed to go out too.
"And so my boss just tosses all my papers on the floor saying. 'I want results, Serger. Give me a logo that doesn't look like a baboon's behind by next week or you're fired.' Bad enough he called me after a sewing machine, but he didn't even let me show him the work on had the tablet. Ugh. He's insufferable sometimes."
"Aw poor baby. Sounds like you'll be hitting the juice a bit tonight, huh."
"I can tell you from experience, you won't get anything off the zesty salt. Just a heads up."
"Who's going to this shindig anyways that we might know, babe?"
"A couple co-workers, some friends from high school, oh and Shannon. You remember him?"
"From the career fair, yeah. Said he was considering going into espionage. Is he bringing 'Ghost' along as well? Ugh...Didn't like that guy."

I had never heard of those two before. Little did I know I was going to know them very well after this party.
At the party, I was just becoming acquainted with a pale looking man as I heard Katlyn taking to a red-headed guy. He seemed rather boyish, although also boisterous from the sound of his voice.
"Kitty! How've ya been? You take up that job after?"
"No. I ended up working for Feng Industries."
"Oh dwam! You're workin' for the sour peach!! She's a right old piece of work. Maybe should bug 'er office with fart noises sometime. Make things interestin' at your job."
Thinking back on it now, I actually feel a bit flustered...not in a bad way...from what I overheard between Katlyn and Shannon.
"Oi...Who's the black-haired missus?"
"Your accent is showing, Shannon, who you talking about?"
"That lil crow over there talkin' with Ghost."
"Whoa there Seabiscuit! First off, her name is Raven and second off, stay away from her."
"What are ya talkin' about?"
"I know you, Shannon. You go after anything with a pulse. I remember you hitting up those ladies at the career fair at the nectar booth."
"I was tryin' for free drinks. If anything it twas practice for my work."
"Yeah well Raven is...different."
"Now ya got my interest peaked, Kitty Kat. What's up with her?"
"Aside from being a bit shy, nothing that I can really tell. Just...You gotta take things easy with her. She's had a hard few weeks and she's a bit sensitive."

It was then I found out that Nick and Shannon were related.
"Sounds like my brother might be smitten with you."
"Who?"
"My brother Shannon over there."
"Well, be sure to tell him that I'll take his crush as a compliment."
"Not surprised actually. He's always been into the oddballs."
"Hm? Oddballs?"
Nick brought me over to the other side of the party.
"You see everyone out there?"
"Yeah..."
"You see all the ladies out there?"
"Yes..."
"Well amongst them, you stand out, and not in a 'cocktail dress' sort of way. If your body was any broader they could use you as a barn door!"
Nick chuckled to himself, my self-esteem falling really low once again. I hadn't told him that I was transitioning, which was probably good considering the insult he used assuming I was a full woman.
I sat away from the party then, not wanting to be seen as a 'barn door' by any of the other party guests.
I saw Serio confronting Nick just after our conversation, him telling me later what happened.
"Dude, don't ever do that again."
"What are you talking about?"
"I heard what you said to Raven. That was rude and totally uncool."
"What? I was only telling the truth. She's a very brawny lady."
"Yeah and is getting over getting disowned by her parents, you snake."
"Disowned?"
"Yeah. Something I'm surprised your parents haven't done."
Katlyn soon came over to comfort me.
"You okay gorgeous?"
"About as okay as a barn door: Weather beaten and stripped of paint..."
"Oh Raven. That was just Nick talking. He can be a big jerk at times."
"But he also said that his brother was attracted to oddballs. What's more odd than a woman who could make other girls feel like Lettuce Leaf Baby Dolls with her height?"
"Shanty's a romantic, Raven. He knows what he likes and shouldn't matter in that case. He's got a crush on you, girl! He even gave you a pet name even before he knew your name."
"A...pet...name? He...He finds me adorable?"
"Totally! He called you "Lil Crow". Maybe he was using some irony, but knowing Shannon, that means he likes you. Want me to give him your number? Believe me, he's nothing like Nick."
"Well...I guess it wouldn't hurt. If anything it would be nice to have another friend."
"Trust me, gorgeous. He's hyper and can't go anywhere without a toy in his pocket, but he's a real sweetheart."
I'd soon find out after how much she was right.

The twins got different projects funny that Tom got the more 'arsty' one when Sam is stuck with electronics, I'm glad they build skills while working on these, makes sense with them building things just didn't know they would which is great.
Ha just the scene sending kids to snack so they can work on homework their sister is exhausted and it's Leslie's turn to adult so she's getting up in a second no need to get cozy.
While the parents are away.
they joined their brothers in the back since they were right next to each other Veronica and Nadine talked while they worked.
As he realizes his family is on a bad schedule...this is the glitch, see everyone is working but Sam and Reggie are stuck that way, eventually resetting them a few times helped but I'm not too sure what was doing it.
Glitch wise everything is fine after....but as the sun is coming up kids were up late finishing their regular homework and the girls got to be a few seconds before this pic was taken oh my poor kids..lol. Just a few more z's before school just wait till the weekend.
As I got the glitch again noticed him shunning Hugo for not being as cool as he is.
I think the glitch might be Reggie's fault though he doesn't have cc, Sam didn't freeze until interacting with him there was a vampire but she wasn't going to come in while they were awake which causes glitches I noticed I reset her by dropping a trashcan on her and that's what fixed it. Then he tried to interact with Annie and she froze with him while everything else was working as usual. Then there was the speed glitch where everything just keeps working as expected...but while it's supposed to be frozen as I was in buy mode. I haven't seen that one in while so can't be sure what caused it though opening and closing buy mode fixed that part. I never know for sure.

Right. Shannon. Like I said, I agreed to Kat in giving my number to the redhead. I mean if anything I could suggest for us to be friends. He definitely didn't sound like his brother.
Next week, I got a call.
"Hm? I don't think I know that number...doesn't look like a spammer though."
"Hello?...Yes this is Raven...Oh it's you...Yes I remember you...From the party, yes. To be honest I expected you to...well actually I didn't expect...Oh that's why. Yes I can see that...Hm?...Breakfast? Well I don't see why not. Katlyn and Serio are gone to work so I really don't have anything to do...Yes I've heard of that place...Sure. I'll meet you there."
I later met Shannon at a nearby family restaurant that had opened up just last week on top of one of the vacant penthouse lots.
"They certainly like their bright colors here."
"Mhm. Been eyein' it since I heard about it and saw the flyers on Simbook."
"Table for two?"
"Ah...Yes please."
As we were seated, I noticed Shannon looking at me up and down. I wasn't exactly sure how to feel about it. Was he judging me? Did he...know? Was Katlyn right in that he was still infatuated with me?
"So umm...You see anything you like?"
"Huh? Oh I ah...they got some fancy breads and toasts here!"
"Isn't that the same thing?"
"Same family, different upbringing."
I honestly had to laugh at that one.
"I'll just get the oatmeal I think. I'm...trying to watch my figure..."
"I can watch that if ya want."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
Shannon had to get up to use the washroom, the waiter coming while I placed our orders. I had to admit, I was starting to feel good about myself again, hoping things would work out between Shannon and me. If anything he seemed like a fun guy to hang out with.
Shannon soon came back.
"So I don't think I've ever seen ya around before last week. Where are ya from?"
I hesitated for a moment.
"Well...far away. I had an incident with my family so that's why I'm living with Katlyn now until I can eventually afford my own place."
"My father gots connection through his job. We might be able to find ya some work if that's what's holdin' ya back."
I felt my stomach twist a bit.
"I appreciate the offer, but there aren't many places that would want to hire me honestly."
"What?! You're kiddin'! A beautiful thing like you and you can't find work! Why? Ya didn't go to college or somethin'? I knows my brother is a pain but if all else fails, I knows he's goin'..."
"No, no it's...well...I...I'm transitioning and employers I find aren't into that..."
Oh boy. It was out then. I started to wonder how Shannon was going to react.
Before he could say anything though, our food arrived.
We ate quietly, myself still wondering what his thoughts were...
Although I did find a way for silence to be loud. Dear sweet plums that lady's garments. Fits with the theme but definitely not a look for her.
After we ate, Shannon spoke with me in calmer, but still cheerful tone.
"Tis a shame they don't hire ya, ya know? Ya seems like a smart lady, and a bit of diversity in a workplace never 'urt anyone. Plum with my job, we get all kinds. Best for espionage and all that. Now I can't tell anything else about what I does, but I'm just sayin' that it shouldn't matter what ya are so long as you're qualified for the job. If you're becoming a woman, ya can still write up stuff, move stuff, do anythin' normal jobs need, right? An' if a business doesn't see it that way, they get no respect from me."
He took out a placemat of all things, appearing to be ready to draw on it.
"So...You don't mind that I'm not a full woman...That I wear make-up and lady wears."
Shannon laughed, shrugging as he made a silly face.
"I wears make-up all the time, and not just for my job. And depending on the lady wears, I'll buy it if it's comfortable or cute. But I still considers myself a guy. Only difference with you though is that you're a woman. And if I might add, a very beautiful one at that."
I was overwhelmed. I know it might sound silly, but words like that were something I needed, especially after last week.
"Well I...I appreciate the compliment..."
"It ain't a compliment: Tis the truth. You're a wonderful woman, Raven. And anyone that would say otherwise should get their head out of their rear."
"I dunno about that. I mean...people are attracted to different things."
Shannon returned to his more calm self.
"Yes, but attraction is different from respect ya know. Someone may not be attracted to ya because of what you're going through, but they should still respect ya and consider you as a woman."
I felt my body become warm.
"Katlyn was right about you. You are rather sweet."
"Well I tries. You're not gonna make many friends bein' a pain in the croissant."
I was about ready to go for the afternoon when Shannon stopped me for a moment.
"I'm usually off on Saturdays. You wanna go to the park or somethin'? Maybe let Kitty and Serio have some time to themselves?"
I felt a grin form across my lips.
"I'd love to."
I'll be back in a moment. Need to use the washroom again. Why is it so far away?!

Didn't have time to play yesterday; had to run off and get my hair highlights refreshed then did errands and had dinner out with my husband. Not sure who'll I'll be focusing on today; both Cassidy and Aicha had their babies (Cassidy had little Jaxon, and Aicha had a little girl I named Kiara). I want to keep moving Cassidy up in her career, so I might end up focusing on her, and maybe go ahead and age up Jaxon shortly so she can start trying to cope with single parenthood.

After the first time we hanged out together, Shannon and I started going out every weekend. I was still working odd jobs during the week, which was fine since Shannon was usually busy during those days anyways. Sadly, that included Fridays, but every Saturday would bring some sort of adventure.
Now watch as I gets a ringer."
"I don't know why you're wanting ringers so much. You're already beating me by 20 points."
"Yeah but tis the principle of it all!"
"Ya mind movin' to the left. I'm missing a wonderful view."
"Of what?"
"Of that hair of yours."
"Oh Shannon. I hope you know that flirting won't distract me from trying to beat your score."
"Who says I was tryin' to distract ya? If anything I'm distracting myself."
There were times we would hit up the bar too. The first time we went was how I found out about just how eccentric Shannon would go with his looks. Not that it mattered to him, or even myself. He was still fun to be around.
"A bit of extra mousse helps keep it in place. Also works if your hair grows like a dandelion like mine does."
Fooseball was usually our game of choice..
Even if Shannon kept losing.
"How ya even learn to spin those things for fast anyways?"
"What's wrong? Jealous?"
"Nah but I'd like to actually score on your goal for once....I don't mean like that, woman. You wipe that smirk off."
And it was one night at the discotheque...
That I finally gave him my response to his infatuation with me.
"Well bless me...hah...I guess I knows how it is between us then...an' tis shaped like a heart."
Eventually, the time came for me to meet Shannon's parents. He suggested having me over to dinner, his mom having a roast chicken with some pie she made from scratch. I also got to meet his father and...well...see Nick again.
"I tell ya boys I'm some happy you didn't get into the fisheries like I did. I likes bein' on a boat but being stuck in the home office doin' up fishery policies isn't all that fun."
"I don't see an issue with it. At least being in an office means not having to deal with disgusting fish."
"Ah don't be like that, Ghost. If it weren't for dad, ya wouldn't be getting that fancy caviar stuff that you likes to eat at that club of yours."
"It's not a 'club'. It's a writer's guild! Besides, The caviar there is much different."
While Shannon chatted with his brother and father, his mother turned to me.
"You've been awfully quiet, dear."
"Hm? Oh I'm just enjoying the meal."
"Well I'm glad you're enjoying it. But no need to be a stranger. Where are you from, dear? Who's your crowd as my husband would say?"
"My...crowd?"
"Your family. Who knit ya?"
I turned my head in shame, not wanting to answer.
"I...I'd rather not talk about it."
"Mmph...Oh go on, girl. I've been around for a long time. I'm sure it isn't anything I haven't heard."
I sighed.
"I...I have no family. I was...as far as my family is concerned, Miss Burke, I'm dead."
"Oh my! Are you homeless? Do...Do you have a place to stay?"
"She's currently stayin' with Kat and Serio. Good lot but they can be...loud," said Shannon,interjecting as I tried to brace for what his mother would say next.
"Oh my. How did such a sweet darling like you get into such a predicament?"
"I don't feel comfortable talking about it at the moment, Miss Burke. All you...you need to know was that it wasn't anything illegal. We just...They didn't want me anymore..."
Just then, Shannon's mom became excited. Now I knew who he got his energy from.
"I just had a wonderful idea! Instead of being stuck in that lil apartment with Katlyn and Serio, why not stay with us?"
I blinked for a moment.
"Are...Are you sure?"
"Of course! Our house is big enough and you can stay in Nick's room once he leaves for college later on. We got a blowup mattress in the meantime."
Nick suddenly fumed, although I wasn't surprised.
"You're not letting that...that freak sleep in my room while I'm away!"
I heard Shannon whisper harshly to him.
"Oi! They don't know about her yet like that so shut it or I'll find a way to shut it for you!!"
Shannon's mother apparently also had his fury as well. Either that or it was from her that Nick got his mean streak.
"I don't know what you two are talking about but under this roof, we don't go calling people 'freaks'. Unless she has a second head growing on her back or was a descendant of the lizard people, she's still a person and under this roof, you'll treat her with respect. And it won't matter if she sleeps in your bed or not, Nicholas Barnaby Traverse. You'll be off to New Island and she'll be stuck without a good night's sleep if she stays with those two. Now straighten up!"
To say Nick was not impressed would have been an understatement.
Shannon's mom took me aside.
"Are you alright, dear? I'm sorry if we all upset you."
"N...No I...I'm fine..."
"Dunno why Nick was calling you a freak but he should know better."
"I...It's because I...I'm transitioning, ma'am. I...I guess I should have something before. If you want me to leave..."
"Don't you even dare," she said.
"Are...Are you sure?"
"wholeheartedly! Now I don't understand too much about transgender or transitioning or the like, but I can understand that you're a person that needs a better place to rest her head. And if we can offer it, we will. Right Marcus?"
I heard Shannon's Dad shout from the kitchen.
"So long as ya don't be stealing my shampoo."
"Marcus you fool you barely have any hair left to shampoo. Besides, that my shampoo you keep using. Why you think your hairs been curlier lately?"
I couldn't help but laugh. Aside from the mishap with Nick. I was starting to feel happy again.
I had to give Shannon's mom a hug.
"Thank you, Miss Burke. You don't know how much this all means to me."
"Of course, dear. Under this roof, you shouldn't have to be someone you're not. Now call up your friends and bring your stuff over here. Then you and the boys can help clear the table."

Spammers I swears. I'm on the list for no-call and yet I still get them. Anyways, I was talking about staying at Shannon's place.
Katlyn was home, saying she would bring my stuff over later on after she did some overtime for Mrs. Feng. Something about trying to find the source of the constant fart noises in her office. While I waited, I helped Shannon and Nick clear the table. While Shannon went to take a call for work, I was now alone with Nick in the kitchen.
Nick knew about how I was transitioning (apparently pried it out of Shannon one night while their parents were out) and used any moment he had to pester me about it whenever I saw him, going so far as to not even acknowledge me how I saw myself.
"It still baffles me how a male like you could degrade themselves like this? Pretending they're a woman. You failed to man-up so you decided to try and live as the opposite sex? It's disgusting! Have you no shame?"
I was on a short fuse that moment.
"I don't have to be ashamed of a proven condition, Nick. I am female. I was born in the wrong body and will be going through procedures someday to correct it."
"Hope your insurance can cover a lobotomy."
"Look, Nicholas! I've already told you it's not that kind of condition. I'm not a loon!"
"Ooohh...Trying to emphasize the point with my full name, huh Raven? Or should I call you by your real name. Well, Romero?"
I shrieked back. Ever since I had been kicked out of my parents' place, I went by my wanted name, Raven. For me, Romero was a long forgotten memory I didn't want to bring up. I never even told Shannon what my original name was and now Nick of all people knew?!
I begged in a whisper.
"Please. Not even Shannon knows that name and I'd prefer to keep it that way. I go by Raven. Just...how did you find out?"
"The Sims National Business Daily Report. See I read it online as preparation for my business courses. Granted not all the articles are sound, but an interesting one showed up last month about the associate bank manager Dominic Rosales. Aside from the usual interview questions about how he manages finances and how he handled the terrifying requisitions scandal, there was an interesting question about his family and the absence of his son, Romero. He said his son died in an accident, but looking at the picture, I found you have quite the resemblance to him. You don't have family, they don't have a son. I figured there was some connection."
A picture in an article of all things! That was how that snake figured it out!
Nick then started laughing hard at me.
"I guess you were right then! You are dead to them! Oh sweet irony!"
"Wh...What are you even going on about?"
"That you could have been even more well off than my father and yet you figuratively murdered yourself for this delusion of yours. What does poor Raven Rosales have to her name? No family and having to work washing dishes at a local restaurant before they kick you out again for being the freak you are. Good luck trying to get real work while being such a tomato! No one's gonna hire someone that they can't tell what they are!"
I couldn't take it anymore. I ran upstairs to hide in Shannon's bed, weeping hard. I don't know what Nick's problem was with me. I wasn't hurting him. It was as if just my mere existence and situation set him off. Eventually, I heard Shannon come up.
"Hm? Now I don't remember my bed being that lumpy before...nor cryin'. Raven, love. What's wrong? Did Ghost tease ya again?"
I got out of the bed, sniffling.
"N...Nick figured out what my name was before I went with 'Raven'. Said he figured out who my dad was and apparently, they really do consider me dead! I never even told you about any of it! I wanted to wait for the right time!! He called me delusional, a freak!"
"Aw Lil Crow..." Shannon lamented, holding me. "I never even asked about your old name cause, well...Raven is your name to me. When ya found out what ya were, you also found your name, right? That has been your name all along if you ask me. And I don't know any guy that would be lucky enough to have a girlfriend with such a wonderful name."
I paused for a moment.
"G...Girlfriend?"
"I was gonna wait until later when we were alone, but I wanted to ask you: Did you wanna go steady? Make all this flirtin' and every thing official between us?"
We had been on and off taking about the idea. I just wasn't expecting Shannon to make the first move.
"Well...We have been talking about it..."
"I knows it might not be the best time to be asking you. I mean Nick could ruin a political party with that tongue of his sometimes."
"No, no. I'm over Nick's antics now. I just wanted to figure out...."
"How we should tell your parents. Yes, Shannon. I'll go steady!"
His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree then. It was almost magical how his youthful personality started to shine through.
"You will! Oh sweet mighty this is perfect! It's like getting the best birthday present ever!"
He hugged right into me.
"I promise to be the best boyfriend ya could ever want!"
"Oh Shannon, you silly. You're already the best boyfriend ever by asking me to be your girlfriend."

Eternal Friends: Part 6
Forgotten Hollow isn't as frightening has they initially thought. Aside from the occasional ominous sounds, there were tons of regular people walking about. Not a vampire in sight since the girls moved in.
It would seem that nighttime in this neighbourhood lingers on longer than it used to. At least the environment is illuminated effectively, providing a rather nice ambience.
Jordan decides to explore a bit to kill time.
At the top of that path was a withered tree and a few rocks. Nothing too exciting. Time to head back home.
"So what do you think? Do you like the neighbourhood?"
"It's quaint, dark, and secluded. Yeah, I like it here."
"You see? I know what's best for us. And now that we're settled in we'll be needing jobs. Just so you know I've already submitted our resumes to the crime ring."
Ugh, typical Anya. Ever since they were little she was always deciding things for Jordan without her consent. And it's not like Jordan can refuse her because anytime she does Anya "breaks out." On top of having a mean streak, Anya hates when things don't go her way. How tiresome... Well, just like all the other times Jordan will have to give in. How bad could being a criminal be anyways?
"Jordan? You heard what I said, right?"
"Um, okay...? Night Jordan. Talk to you in the morning, I suppose..."
It became clear that some trying times were ahead of her, so Jordan will have to keep her spirits up. After all, Anya and her only have each other now. If things were going to work out they would need to stick together.

Anyway, if anybody remembers Cara, she proposed to her boyfriend and they had a cute lil wedding (had to try twice, he didn't show up the first time :P)
Also, in celebration of pride month, I let my simself go swimming, which is something I haven't been comfortable doing in real life for a long time (I found some handy little chest scars but idk how well you can see them in this pic)

Mmph...Sorry. I was just finishing my lunch when you called me back. Where was I?
Once Nick moved out to go to college, I got his bed to sleep in. I will say it was really comfortable. His room was also a big contrast to Shannon's. Everything was neat and his room was much bigger. According to his mom, Shannon stayed in the 'kids room' when the boys were old enough for their own rooms. I also had to admit that the Christmas tree on the desk was cute.
Something odd I saw though was the hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall. Shannon's guess was so that he didn't get any germs from his purchases at the flea markets when he went looking for antiques.
And then I saw the picture covering the hole in the wall. Shannon didn't seem to know why it was there. According to his father, Nick had punched the hole in the wall after having a meltdown for some reason. Something told me Nick had issues that he hadn't really told any of his family.
A few weeks later, Shannon took me to the park for a date.
"Babe you're the best thing that ever happened to me ya know."
"So are you. I don't think I'd even be alive were it not for you and your family."
"Speaking of that though, Raven. I need to talk to you. I'm planning on moving out."
"O..Oh? For work?"
I was actually caught off-guard for a moment. I wasn't expecting Shannon to be planning on moving, considering how close he was to his parents.
"Actually..." he said, suddenly getting down on one knee.
"It's for this. Raven Rosales, will you marry me?"
I had to blink for a moment, trying to take it all in.
"Of...Of course! Of course I'll marry you!!"
I slipped the ring on my finger.
"Oh Shannon this must have cost a fortune!"
"Kinda. I had to save a lot of my salary for it, but I thought if you would be sayin' yes, it would be worth it."
I couldn't help but kiss him. My heart was humming with joy!
Shannon then brought me close, saying softly.
"You're the most precious thing to me in this entire world and I wanna be there with you throughout all your joy, all your pain, and support you through all that you wish to go through. I love you, Lil Crow."
I chuckled.
"You can sometimes be quite the romantic you know."
"Oh. Tis romance you want, eh?"
Just then, he grabbed me around the waist...
Dipping me as he planted a hard kiss on my lips.
Shannon soon brought me back up. I was so overwhelmed though that I didn't want to let go of the kiss with my now fiance.
Once we did though, I could feel every part of my body fill with happiness.
"I...I never thought I'd be thinking about getting married someday. And now I'll need to start thinking about our wedding plans."
"Then hows about we go and find you a dress, hm?" said Shannon, myself still riding the high of realizing that I would soon be someone's wife.
I'll tell you later about the wedding. I need sleep.

Finally finished the bones for the Flex family's new home. It's a neat little 4 bedroom/3.5 bathroom Craftsman; featuring a slightly split-leveled Great Room with fire place, a breakfast area, and a large (for now) activity room that I may turn into a home theatre if I get the movie stuff pack soon. Now to get them moved in and furnish it.

Kara threw a house party and invited all her family over. Connor finally got to meet his Uncle Kevin! He adores him!
The party was going great..Then.. The unthinkable happened. Christian died!! He stood outside too long and burned up. Everyone was devastated, including me
Even little Connor cried for his Uncle.
Britta naturally took it the hardest, she was left with twin boys and soon found out Christian left her one last gift. She was pregnant, she had a baby girl named Charlotte.
They all look so much like their daddy.
I'm still not over losing Christian, I tried to bring him back but felt it would add to the story. I miss him though
Okay so again I'm gonna leave my pics so I don't forget what I wanted to say for them, my thoughts have been short lately heh, I have pics from a few households to share so I'll put some of them in spoilers so it's a smaller post. Next time I won't collect so many but I do like seeing the differences.
This is Tony he lives in one of my newer builds with his husband and their two adopted daughters.
He's the more affectionate of the two they've had the girls since they were much smaller and they know Tony as dad, but Rick well he's just Rick he tries his best to avoid them.
"So are they asleep?"
"Yes Rick you can go upstairs."
"Finally why did you let them stay up so late."
"They had homework to finish."
"We just moved here what could they have to do?"
"They had packets to show where they were in school, they'll move them if they need to."
He was surprised he asked at all, and as he went to bed alone Rick finished his dinner of salad and...juice. We'll just keep calling it that lol.
The next morning the girls, Juliet, in pink, and her sister Eve came down to greet Tony.
"There's my girls, don't you look adorable." he cooed as he often did, that was just his way.
"Thanks what for lunch?" Eve asked.
"Who says I packed a lunch?"
"Daddy."
He grinned.
"PB&J."
"Morning Rick." Juliet said, she was often in her own little world, they really were adopted so I can't be blamed for her insanity.
Rick ignored her and Tony's sigh but Juliet brushed it off since she was used to it.
As Tony sent them to grab their lunch Juliet was rambling happily to herself.
"Who are you talking to sis?"
"All my friends."
"Uh...I see okay."
"Hey be nice."
"I was."
"Not you, Mr. Fluffers, he says I'm looking yellow today and I don't know what that means."
"Yeah..me neither."
That afternoon when the girls came home Eve was feeling irritated and let out a few forbidden words to make herself feel better, she knew Juliet wouldn't tell she hardly paid attention to anything that was said..unless it involved Mr. Fluffers, whoever that was.
Rick was tired from work but he also hates kids so it just seem to catch them just right, what he sees as well behaved kids giving him a migraine, while Tony adores them pieces. I had to go in and tweak a few things I forgot Eve had that buggy voice thing so I tweak a couple things and changed them up a little bit.
Here is their house.
Now my Evergreens they just adopted two kids but I aged the one we got first up, she had glasses so it's more like she's squinting without them, this is Bailey I spelled her name differently but this is her before her slight make over.
The story being that before they got their lottery winnings the Evergreens had been talking to her because they wanted to adopt they checked in on her so she wouldn't go with another family it had been a rather broken down group home she came from but she was a good kid. Though she's sensitive it appears she didn't know they'd get a second child and didn't even want to do her homework next to him, that's Dustin though I might change his name to Duncan instead he was insane but changed that to hot headed.
He seems to love her already and wants to get to know her.
Of course, you know these guys I jumped saves with them and Leslie is already hating me for it lol.
I fit them all in so she'll get over it.

Rick is already enjoying some time with his girls before I get back to bouncing him all over for collectibles.
This mostly amuses me because she is the more hands on parent so she can tell him what to do but she's not going to she knows he's trying.
Apparently a family that roughs it together stays together they adore one another and even little Annie isn't always fussy.
Another new family this is another sim I don't remember the first name of but it'll come to me, he was thrown under the bus essentially when his boss was caught embezzling though with the right dirty lawyer, not a trustworthy one a down and messed up one he took the fall he lost everything. This was after he lost his wife so he's raising his children alone...with nothing this is what his sweet little girl chooses to do.
"Sweetheart stop that."
"Okay daddy."
Second time doing it after cleaning up the first mess.
"Rawr!"
"Sweetheart."
"Okay I'm really done."
He has a hard time being strict with her because she looks so much like her mother and for her wild ways of entertaining herself she's just like her, she loves art and is very optimistic so she doesn't listen but her personality is a keeper. His son however is very different the sort of realist you couldn't take to funeral for being too thoughtless with his words. He thinks they're both lunatics.
"Dad how are we going to eat?"
"I'll get some money don't you worry about that."
"That's not reassuring, what about bathing, you're letting her waste your supplies."
"I'm not wasting them I'm creating!"
"Sure you are, tart."
"Be nice." to be fair he doesn't have much in the way of...parenting with his son either.
After a day of selling collectibles and what not got them a few things and my dear is...'creating' again.
The next night actually they came home with projects to keep them busy, she liked it...
Her brother, not so much.
Now back to another one you know ha, apparently standing far away enough means this area is for two sims, now I clicked to cancel it so it was working fine. I don't think Victor mines, she was cleaning and looks nice in those shorts ha.
"Have I told you how beautiful you look today?"
"Very funny, I know what you're looking at."
"So?" he asked chuckling.
His thoughts when apparently sad, he just doesn't like the place anymore.
Lily might just be realizing what she's lost, too late for that.
he got over her, he supposed he was feeling more sentimental than really down about the divorce.
It was soon go time, and we got twins oh and I don't remember both of them either lol.

While the kids were playing he had a little chat with Iya.
"So I was thinking instead of remodeling upstairs I want to move."
"Where to?"
"I have a house waiting in Osasis Springs and it's all furnished now so we're definitely moving."
"A second house? To get away from Lily?"
"To get far away from Lily I used it after all my business trips...and don't bother asking because you were the only other woman I ever would have had to take there it was my place to go to relax."
She laughed.
"Well it's not my business but good to know, I guess."
"It is your business we have a family."
"Let me guess, the family should get bigger."
"I think so."
"Okay Victor but this is so the last baby."
"Really just like that?"
"Yeah why not I do love my babies after all, but not till we move."
"So you'll really stay?"
"Yeah I'll really stay you don't have to keep asking."
He chuckled.

"Well I had more parties back then."
"And you didn't need someone else to keep you company?"

Izaiah wasted no time getting upstairs to play.
