Garith and Brisha spent the last day boating down the river and snorkeling near the falls.
At sunrise, they headed out of the campgrounds.
Put the boat in downriver at one of their favorite fishing spots.
And headed back up to the falls.
At the falls, they snorkeled for the first time. Garith found two cowry shells and a nautilus.
Brisha found ... a teddy bear and a pink flamigo. And she's the one with the Lucky trait!
When it was time to go home, Brisha took her turn to drive the speedboat. Garith looks a little worried...and well he should be.
Somewhere along the river, Garith disappeared from the boat and had to take a boat-cab to meet back up with Brisha.
She must have been flying through those waves--a real wild woman!
How embarassing for Garith. "Yah man, thanks for the lift. Just let me out near the bridge."
Good day everyone. Yesterday I played when I was able with my new inventor sim Lizette Cartwright. Her traits are brave, handy, eccentric, lucky, and born saleswomen. Favorites are pop music, cobbler, and the color black. While playing when I could in one day I was able to get her inventing skill to level five, handiness to level three, and cooking to level two. Lizette experienced one electric shock and one fire while she was inventing. She really has not been able to make very much money since she is still trying to figure out how to from inventing.

Thank you. I enjoyed that outing with my sims. There are several boats and houseboats, including paddle boats, an oar-rowed fishing boat, and jet skis, etc. Most of my sims own sailboats or just the windsurfers. That particular couple are super rich, 5-star celebrities, so I bought them the most expensive speed boat. They're the only one of my families that has that boat! It's 45,000 simoleons.
I love the expansion. There's a lot you can do with it in all the worlds, whether you ever play in Isla Paradiso or not. I even built diving lots in Barnacle Bay. Here's a Wikia link that shows pics of the available boats: Island Paradise Boats
I haven't done much in my games... been busy trying to get laid by the Grim Reaper. seriously... i have a save before a Sim dies in my house, and i've had luck making out with the Reaper on my couch, even got to cuddling in my bed... but he always breaks the interaction to disappear, before i can make out with him. Once, i went right to Woohoo- but he was "ah, no."
I found out he's- inappropriate, absent minded, and a kleptomaniac. At the least, i want to make the Grim Reaper "romantically involved" with my sim. may even try to get him to move in...
in another one of my games, i've been considering pulling a "Naughty Uncle"... My Teen-Sim's lover is older than she is, and the Teen-Sim's birthday is in a coupe weeks. The "Naughty Uncle" may try to either- impregnate the lover, and time it so she gives birth on my Teen-Sim's birthday- at her birthday party... or impregnating her at the birthday party.
*Note the Teen Sim lives with her Elderly Uncle... though i couldn't set the Family Relations thusly.
Sally visited the Blue Building. Its a savvy seller store with several shops in it. The top level is devoted to outdoors and exercise. Sally needed some exercise and training equipment.
She got training dummies, board breakers and a couple of other items.
There are two ways to get a Sim to purchase in the Savvy Seller store.
1. They can go to the item and wave their arm and money floats into the air and the item goes into their inventory
2. They can click on the cash register and choose from a list of all items in the building - including windows and curtains if they are near a Savver Seller rug
EDIT: I find this so much easier than going into the buy catalog or travelling to one of the World Adventure worlds to buy things. The only things I haven't been able to buy at my stores that I have tried to buy are the recipe and skill and fishing books from the various worlds.
I love mixology. Lincoln, my Emperor of Evil has been busy creating his own recipes to serve at the local dive.
Something about this drink is clearly making him veeeeeeeery suspicious, the way he's side eyeing that glass...

@Karritz Your shops are amazing. So actually, that Savvy Seller Sporting Goods store would also serve as a gym too, right? Or a person could just throw those Seller rugs under everything around town, couldn't they! Wow! I like the feel of your stores better though. More realistic.
Simpler times at the Weylor house now that they're home. Had a funny experience with the babysitter, Jacoby Grubb, when Garith and Brisha got home. It looked like he was going to hang around for a while. But maybe I was getting impatient because all my sims were tired.
Garith joked with him a bit, sharing funny videos...
Then I had Garith 'End Service'--just to prompt Jacoby to be on his way. Unfortunately, Jacoby took it personally! I didn't mean for him to get his feelings hurt. He cried on Garith's shoulder, and I got a notification that said, "Sorry this didn't work out! Just pay me my $75 and I'll be on my way."
The next day, the couple took Daffodil and Horton to the fair.
I also found out that toddlers can talk to each other through the baby monitors if the kids are in the same room. You need to have two monitors...like walkie-talkies. By default, there's a 70% chance of them calling to each other instead of an adult if the toddlers are in the same room. But there's a mod that makes it 100%. I may get that. But what I also did was use Nraas DebugEnabler to disable autonomous use of the monitors--just allow player choice. That way, the toddlers won't always be calling out on their own to the adults to Rock Me. I just want the monitors available so that the two can do peek-a-boo together sometimes.
Here they do indeed ignore the monitors and go off to play.
One other thing I ended up doing. I took Garith's and Brisha's Celebrity stars away. They had achieved top level, 5 stars. I was so tired of the Celebrity system and the rumors that caused relationship hits. Months ago, I had already turned the system off in Options and marked it for my sims to Opt Out of the System. But because this family already had stars, they continued to deal with rumors. They also still received celebrity gifts and discounts, but they don't need those things. Just in the last few days, I had to put up with 4 rumors causing lost friendships in China and Appaloosa Plains! Sick of it!
While I was at it, I double checked on Ellen Weylor in Barnacle Bay, the YA older daughter. I was pretty sure I had already taken her stars away. Yes, I had. Here's a pic of the BB household. Ellen with Cruz Martingale from AP, their plumbot and two horses. Cruz is a diver and Ellen is an Equestrian.
They were playing horseshoes at sunrise when I checked on them.
@Lanlyn your story is interesting. I enjoyed reading about what your sims are up to. I might take celebrity stars away too one day. They aren't being bothered in this game - I think the game is trying to cope with what I'm throwing at it and it has no spare capacity to pester me with things like that.
Sims do use the items for sale in the savvy seller stores at times - interesting when someone starts doing their washing in a washer, or worse uses the shower or toilets on display. I haven't had much trouble with that though.
Here's a pic of inside the garden shop in my other savvy seller store. It is named Carter's Corner Store because of the name of the EA Sim who owned it when I was making it. Here' s a picture of her in the garden store.
I added a strip of the rugs on the footpath outside and placed pot plants on it and Sims often gather there at night and socialise and buy plants all night long.

Good day everyone. Hope that you all are doing well. Yesterday I was not able to play very much due to real life. I was able to start a new world. The new world I decided on is Sunset Valley. Today I plan on starting to play once I create a new sim. Just finished spending a little over an hour watching ads for my free simpoints. Total earned from the past couple days is 1509. I really enjoy reading every post and update. Check the thread as often as I check for simpoint ads. Lol

Well... Normal day for me... The dad (Alex) and his 'Romantic Interest' (Who I can't make his girlfriend for a weird reason... Help? Abi) did usual things... The teen (Kitty) hung out with her 'Romantic Interest' (Still not boyfriend+girlfriend...). The children (Harry and Craig) did child things. Scarlet (The other teen) hung out with her girlfriend-to-be at the pool and stole some things. Kitty also got a car. That's basically it. And I also upgraded the toilet...
@Karritz The Weylors are the only family I have that already had celebrity status. All my other families were created after I turned the system off, so I had forgotten how annoying the whole rumor thing is. Long Distance Friends reward doesn't help with it either. I think there are mods to tweak the rumors, but I decided that my sims shouldn't get rewards for being celebrities if they can't take the heat!
Your garden store is lovely and so is the sim who owns it.

As for me, I recently installed ErrorTrap (already had Overwatch), so decided to open up each of my different household saves and make sure everything worked ok. I have 14 world plays going right now. I move from one to another as my mood strikes me.
This afternoon, I visited the Mumses-Martingale family in Hidden Springs. Sophia Martingale also came from Appaloosa Plains. She's Cruz's mother. When I play premade sims I almost always change a couple of their traits. I try to keep the general feel of their personality though. So, in Sophia's case I changed her Snob trait to Proper. Her lifetime wish is to have a Bottomless Nectar Cellar. But she doesn't make the nectar, she shops for special blends. She also works part time as a spa receptionist. One day, she wants to own the place, but money is still tight right now especially with her nectar purchases.
Sophia's married to a genie I created, Abu, and they have a toddler son named Kahlil. Datrum is the family plumbot. And yes, Abu is Brooding. When you live as long as a genie does, you start to question all the things you've seen. Here, Abu sits by the side of a lonely, frosted hill and contemplates his existence...
Sophia plays the violin while Abu shakes off his moodiness with dancing. Kahlil sings to Finnegan, his Imaginary Friend, and Datrum rushes off to complete household chores.
A foggy day in Autumn. Abu is also an animal lover. His lifetime wish is to befriend a Unicorn. But his career is in Alchemy.
Sophia discusses Matters of Ettiquette with Datrum to assure that he understands Proper House Bot behavior.
Then Datrum sees a gnome kicked over in the yard. He carefully stands him back up...properly. So maybe he was listening!

So this morning I created a brand new sim with the lifetime goal of being the CEO of a Mega-Corporation. Just completed my sims lifetime goal. Played for most of the day today. This is huge for me because I have never completed a lifetime goal for any of my sims before. The sims name is Luette Wicks. Her traits are ambitious, charismatic, friendly, lucky, and schmoozer. I want her to make tons of money and end up owning all of Sunset Valley.

Here's another update from Evermore Falls,Maine near the end of the winter of 1635.
Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch were both up very early that morning and were getting ready for the day.They both took turns eating breakfast and using the washroom.
They were both studying writing skill on iPads while playing chess on their computers after tending the garden.They kept that up for most of the day because it was snowing very heavily outside all day.
They ended up eating dinner after Tracy fixed a platter of salad and it got put away after eating.
They both ended up heading outside to build an igloo in the snow for a while.
They got back inside when it started to get very late and it was 9PM by then.
They didn't get to sleep until 9:30 that evening.
Whoever asked that Sim is Kara Carter from Midnight Hollow,I know the name of pretty much every female Sim in the Sims 3 series even the homeless townies and ghosts. Show me a male Sim picture and if is not a SV townie I would be like "Ummm I dont know...Santa Claus?" It is how I am in real life can name any female celebrity no matter how small of a role and every female I have met in my life even if a 4 minute meeting on a bus can see them 4 years later and say "Oh hi Krista I remember you".
