I've been playing my legacy game so much and so fast, Erica is only eight days away from becoming an elder! But she and Ronnie Rausage, the chubby and balding tattoo artist I decided was the best partner for her, are now living together and FINALLY expecting a baby!
Erica kept inviting Ronnie over in the evenings and trying for baby with him, but no results. It occurred to me that it might not be possible to have a baby with him while he is a role sim.
Ronnie was happy to help her try anyway!
Erica made enough money to add to her little house again: she now has a little vegetable garden...
... and a little extension for the kitchen, instead of just a stove and a fridge next to her bed:
One day she accidentally set herself on fire while inventing at the junkyard. Instead of panicking, she just looked miserable. "Isn't my life hard enough already?"
But she is good enough at inventing now, she is able to detonate things!
Ten days away from becoming an elder, Erica finally asked Ronnie to move in with her, he accepted, and they tried for baby again.
Ronnie is also a mature adult. He had zero skills, zero lifetime happiness points and zero simoleons on entering the household, but he did have a Big Lemon in his inventory, which I sold.
His first day in the household was spent learning skills.
One visit to the gym, two short jogging sessions and one hair treatment later, Ronnie really is quite cute:

And later that day, she got her pregnancy notice and the game changed her into a white dress. I'll take that as a hint she wants to get married!

@Emily4331 Lula and her apartment look great! Nice to have a back up story. I've never played the firefighter so I don't know if it is easier than some of the others to get promoted. Some do seem easier than others if you keep your sim up on the skills needed for promotion and get opportunities and finish them.

@LunBeauty The lagging with Pets is the main reason I didn't put it back in my game. The lap top is just not powerful enough to handle it all. I used to fence the horses in and would still find them trampling the garden or stuck near the pool area.

Rory's waking wish was to call one of the townies but that had to wait until he prepared some waffles for the next morning's breakfast.
Niall and Cain had a couple of flirts but then Niall decided he would rather be skinny dipping.
Poor Cain! Actually, poor Niall. As soon as he got in, Cain made him get out for some more flirting
Lachie got his wish and he knows another recipe
Lachie had a wish to meet someone new so I sent him to the park with Rory.
Rory interrupted Jeffrey Cook's swinging to gossip. They don't even know each other so I don't know why he chose that interaction.
When he was done he came back to Lachie for a game of catch. I knew that wouldn't go anywhere because of Lachie's irresistible trait.
I checked back home and found Cain and Niall relaxing I decided they should join the boys at the park because it seemed to be attracting a lot of sims, probably because it was Sunday.

When I saw Jeffery's arms go up I thought he was saying something mean to Lachie but Lachie didn't seem angry so I went into map view and discovered he was giving an inspirational speech.
Rory went straight to Niall when he and Cain arrived.
The Littler family were there as was Lily-Bo.
Lily-Bo had to wait for Jeffrey to finish his long-winded speech before she got her turn

@emorrill I noticed that counter in your update, but wasn't sure whether I should say something. It won't harm your game. The problem comes when you want to upload something. You can do a search in your DCBackup folder to see whether you have the good or bad version of that counter. A Windows Explorer search in that folder would be the easiest to do, I think.
The bad version can usually be uninstalled through the launcher, but it's a pain to find. Sometimes it's more difficult to get rid of though. (It's not enough to just remove the file from the DCBackup folder.) Here's a link to more info on dealing with this CC: Arezzo Bathroom CounterRight CC Info

You said earlier Lachie reached level 6 athletic. Once at 6 they can train other sims.
Sometimes you have to go into build mode and reset the bars in Bridgeport, some kinda known glitch. I had to do everyone that I kept when I started my save.

@emorrill I got it before from a No CC house,the house literally had no CC just store content etc and regular expansion counters in the kitchen.It was not the uploaders fault just one of those things like a tick or a flea that jumps off a dog onto another dog.Really easy to get rid of just find the DC backup code that Lanlyn posted,it is simple.
This was a quick experiment, but I was able to throw a funeral party. I had a backup save from my Clue Mystery from just when Peter Plum had died, so I loaded that up.
His gravestone was on the home lot grounds, not in anyone's inventory. The household all had mourning moodlets.
I had Patricia call about throwing a party. The funeral option was there, along with a list of possible outside party guests.
I chose the soonest time allowed, just for the test. You could also choose the type of attire as usual. I didn't bother to dress anyone in black, but if you planned ahead you could do that as well as decorate the home.
The time was confirmed and I had Patricia prepare a little food. Then the guests showed up.
There was a lot of crying going on by the household members.
Since the mourning moodlet only lasts two days, you would need to be quick about planning a funeral.
The funeral was like a regular party, but with additional mourning dialogue options.
Sims could cry on each other's shoulders.
And they could console one another or cheer up a grieving sim.
They could also talk about the deceased: speak fondly of the dearly departed or speak poorly of him. They could express condolences too.

After the hoopla of the engagement; things settled back down to normal. Greta, looking out the window at the gloomy weather (it was raining); Haruo looking through classifieds (presumably not to get Tatsuyoshi taken out discreetly, though the thought was extremely tempting); and River painting. Shigeo was jealous; he knew that he had lost out on winning Brianna's hand, but he was spoiling for a fight. So he readied his hand by going downstairs and getting his martial arts up to green belt toughening up his hand with the board-breaker. Somehow the computer got busted in Yasunobu and Susan's room. Oh well, Susan could fix things since she had mastered handiness. Rain seemed to be par for the British Columbia weather...ah, Legacy Island...land of rain... ...and things came to a head very shortly when poor Tatsuyoshi was standing, minding his own business, waiting for the elevator...when Shigeo snuck up on him and scared the pants off him. "You reject!" Tatsuyoshi exclaimed furiously, "If I had seen you coming up, I'd have knocked you flat on your rear-end."
Shigeo yawned dismissively. "Yeah, sure, you and what army? You probably couldn't punch your way out of a paper bag."
The disagreement got rather heated...with a lot of name-calling on both ends. It was surprising that neither of them decided to go for it and drop the gloves initiating fisticuffs. In fact the name-calling got so loud that Brianna came over to investigate what was going on. Her lips pursed in a tight frown when she saw that it was Shigeo and Tatsuyoshi squared off jawing at each other. "I don't believe this." she said irritatedly. "Why are you going after Tatsuyoshi for?" "If you start harassing my fiance, you and I are going to have a sparring match and believe me, I'm not going to go easy on you." Brianna snarled at Shigeo. Shigeo recoiled like a wounded animal, whether it was the threat of violence inflicted on him by Brianna, or the word "fiance" that wounded him, it wasn't certain, but he backpedaled. "You two can either grow up and behave like adults, or I'll knock both your heads together." Brianna threatened the both of them. They didn't like it but they knew that Brianna could kick both of their rears and then some. After all, she didn't wear the garb of a Sim Fu Level 10 master for nothing.

I had Rory serve the leftover fish and chips. I should have tried single serve meals because I have seen sims eating them without a problem but I have had no luck with a group serve so far.
Niall must have had a bad shot
I saw Emmy Starr yelling at Lachie and decided I wasn't going to have that! Lachie reached level 6 in the athletic skill while playing catch earlier in the day so I hoped it was enough.

Lachie was feeling a little poorly after the fight but his benevolent Watcher put things right
Some time during the day Lachie rolled a wish to take a photo with a friend
After I sent the boys home, Cain and Niall watched the stars from the back of Waylon's Haunt.
I suspect this may have been the result of the crazy drink because Lachie is not athletic!
Cain and Niall had a quick dip in the pool before retiring for the night

My sims don't work so I have no idea how long professions take but I did think that LunBeauty's sim got through the firefighter career pretty quickly.

dont think it will be a legacy cause I get bored after a few generations.
I just spent time on imgur deleting a few pages of images, it were up to 5000 already omg.
The bad version can usually be uninstalled through the launcher, but it's a pain to find. Sometimes it's more difficult to get rid of though. (It's not enough to just remove the file from the DCBackup folder.) Here's a link to more info on dealing with this CC:

You said earlier Lachie reached level 6 athletic. Once at 6 they can train other sims.
Sometimes you have to go into build mode and reset the bars in Bridgeport, some kinda known glitch. I had to do everyone that I kept when I started my save.

Shigeo and Tatsuyoshi
After the hoopla of the engagement; things settled back down to normal. Greta, looking out the window at the gloomy weather (it was raining); Haruo looking through classifieds (presumably not to get Tatsuyoshi taken out discreetly, though the thought was extremely tempting); and River painting.
Shigeo yawned dismissively. "Yeah, sure, you and what army? You probably couldn't punch your way out of a paper bag."
