@lanlyn Thanks for the lovely comments I don't really do much other than introduce my teens to sims that I think would be ideal for them trait wise - they take care of the rest due to the autonomous romance mod I use. I do love checking up on them, though, and will give them a little nudge from time to time. Some don't need a nudge but some traits are so boring, like bookworm which Dye has, and she needs to be pulled away from her books from time to time but once she gets started, she is as naughty as the rest of my teens
I am very happy with the toddler hairs I downloaded today. I looked at several sites but ended up getting what I did from this one. There are lots of the over-the-top toddler hairs that I would never use but if you scroll through you will find the ones I got.
@lanlyn I forgot to comment on Chrysie's new outfit! It is a little short for my taste but very pretty - I do love some of the outfits from AAS I think the sheer patterns lend themselves particularly well to fairies and I love the way you have coloured it
@Mikezumi Loved seeing Elis meeting his nephew Morris, both pretty much the same age. In RL, my father married a second wife and they had two sons the same age as my first two sons. His second wife is only two years older than I am. It felt kind of strange, but it happens. ...That "evil" expression of Ludo's face is awesome! He does evil in a very unique way. I love it. ...Wilky and Reed smooching, then sparring. Fun. ...Oh my gosh! Ebba is even cuter as a child! ...Congrats to Elis aging up. Those birthdays can creep up on you without you realizing it's that time. Same with births. I like Elis' teen look.
...RE: kilts for the sims. I guess EA gave us some kilts, but not the true leg wear to go with them. There's probably CC out there somewhere for them I bet. ...My tweaking of Adrian Black was quick. I'd already spent way more time in DV than I'd planned. That always seems to happen. @Karritz I like having basements too. I don't make them as large as yours, but I usually have basements under the house. Even if the house is on a foundation, I find a way to access underground, even if it's just to park the cars. ...Also, thanks for the idea to age down gnomes. I've never done that before, but I remember you mentioning it in another post.

The first floor of Sol and Crysie's house. They had just arrived back home after spending the day at the Dragon Tavern.
They are back-to-nature types. Gardens, bees, chickens, clothes drying outdoors.
Sol had a wish to woohoo with Crysie in the fairy house. Granted!

I caught sight of the DV wild horses, including mother and foal who look very much alike.

My laptop had to be returned because it was faulty so I'm on the hunt for a new one and borrowing my mum's which is currently dying a slow and painful death so I'm a little afraid to install the sims. This thread will have to keep me sustained.

I've done CAS part Edits on Late Night CAS Parts in Easy CASPEditor to fix the catagorizations of some parts.I've made all high heels lose their valid for random flags.Here's a picture showing an example of the items I stipped of their valid for random flags.

I'm still here, but I am so far behind, back on page 1070 or so... I'm slowly plodding thru but real life is just kicking my butt. I'm a couple days behind on my emails, too. Also I'd rather play the game than read about it.
I had an issue pop up in one of my fun games involving traveling. I finally decided to take a couple over to France for a second honeymoon. After having 4 kids, they deserve it. Even after owning World Adventures for several months now, I have yet to explore any tombs at all. They checked into base camp, and I did the "find the baseball" quest first. Then I was on the "investigate the Landgraab house" quest, and they ran out of time on their 3 day vacation. But something happened, he went back home first, and she was stuck there. I figured out to use the phone to return home and end the vacation, but then the game locked up and I lost all the progress. First time for this particular household too, its always been stable. When I reloaded, it was at the point where the game has you save before you leave, but they no longer had the travel option in their queue, and it was as if they never booked their vacation. I sent them to bed, and sometime the next day, before I could reschedule, she ended up finding out she is pregnant. She has the daredevil trait, so I guess she "forgot" to take her pills, lol. So, I wonder if her being pregnant but not knowing it yet messed up the travel somehow. I know there's a day or two delay from when they do the deed to when she finds out she's pregnant, and the game let her travel, so I dunno. Oh well, now I gotta let her go thru pregnancy before they can have their second honeymoon again. They have 4 girls, so hopefully its a boy this time. But of course, she wishes for ANOTHER girl. Sims are crazy.
I havent played any of my "take pictures and share" households in a while, so no updates there. I have been playing my "Frozen" game w/ Anna, Elsa, and Hook, and this one I mentioned above.
Anyway, just letting you all know I'm still here, and I hope you didnt miss me too much. I keep trying to get caught up but you all know how it is. 50 pages behind is tough.

@lanlyn Yes, it does happen. When my son was born he was already an uncle because my husband's son from a previous marriage was already a grown man with a child. Thanks for the lovely comment I always feel bad when I forget a birthday but, when it gets hectic in the game, I guess it is to be expected that some things don't go to plan, especially given the shortness of a sim day.

@Mikezumi look your family's genetics are just unfair. 2 good looking sims have good looking kids who just need minor hair and outfit tweaks...meanwhile, I have kids who I age up out of fear that they turn out to be monsters.

@bekkasan Those little gift boxes are magical, endless voids in which you can place any size present, of course! My favorite is how many mistletoes Mia has already gotten in her life...I think her friends are trying to tell her something.

Here's a little more from my day in Dragon Valley. I took so many pictures! But there were 5 different goals I was working on yesterday: placing the Mages Guild and making sure the household was set, renovating and testing the tavern, seeing fairies cheat the claw machine, trying out that third sheer-skirted dress, and getting those Gnomes of the Darned.
These are screenshots of Sol and Crysie's other activities at the Dragon Tavern.

Karaoke singing. Both of them were terrible, but enthusiastic! I really missed Emad's Natural Born Performer talent.
They tried some "sweet moves" during karaoke. At least they were having fun.
Sol has the Lucky trait, but when he first started gambling, he lost some money.
Crysie lost quite a bit at first. I found her kicking the machine. This One Armed Bandit was "cold," so I took her off it.
Charlotte found townies to play with and had a good time howling to the music.
I had put an extra slot machine in the restroom area, and a townie was making good money on it. When he finally gave it up, I sent Sol over to try his luck. A hot machine! Meanwhile, Crysie went back to trying for gnomes.
The bartender was busy serving guests, mostly meals rather than drinks.
By the end of the day, Crysie and Sol were ... still terrible at karaoke!
As the tavern got more lively, I found Sol starting to slow dance with this girl. I think she asked him. But just as he got his arms around her, Crysie broke into his queue and canceled the dancing with a "Play Catch" action. Just keeping an eye on her boyfriend, that's all!

There was a dragon egg on the premises and I saw a townie talking to it. The hatching countdown started!
When I saw the egg was almost ready to hatch, I sent Crysie over to get the dragon when it arrived. But two townies got there before her. The policeman snatched the egg up before Crysie could get to it. "Hey!! Give that egg back!" ... I used NRaas DebugEnabler to reach into the policeman's inventory and retrieve the egg.
I had Crysie set the egg back out so it could hatch. It wouldn't hatch while in her inventory.
A purple dragon! The family only had a green dragon at home (Grail), so I was happy to see this little guy. We named it immediately so the townies wouldn't try to take him.
Its name is Perp (short for perpetrator). First, for its purple color. And second, because it was stolen twice before its hatching--once by a townie and once by Crysie!
So I'm thinking of making a little story to break away from the humdrum of family play. (Not even out of the first generation yet, Emily... ).
I thought "How can I make each sim in my story really unique looking?" as I have a bit trouble not making sims just 100% how I want them to look which on races I don't know enough about genetically...well it ends up making people who are supposed to be certain races just look like Europeans with different skin tones.
And, yes, I have already opened the tab for Mr. Filip K because helloooo. You're from Canada, eh? Not too far away!
I have already created one of my protagonists just from scratch. But looking forward to printing out pictures of models and making my entire family wonder about me in the next few days. pff
