The work on the outdoors areas of Curtain Call is looking very nice! @rcone The way that you have used the terrain paint to create the wavy front pathway looks great! Very nice pond area! The shape of the pond, the rocks on the edges of it, and the lilypads and fish fountain in it looks very nice! The flower box window looks pretty. It is great that there is a pool in the build, and the greenery covered fencing on the edges of the lot looks nice. The overflowing side yard of flowers sounds so very nice!
I will look forward to seeing the next update of your build!
This is what has been keeping me busy for a month. Well, that and classes. Must have plunked down at least fifty hours or more into this sucker. Coming soon to my showcase.
It is great that you have now finished and uploaded your WIP @oblivion627 Tidewatch is such a very detailed build! I have posted about it on your showcase thread and will look forward to seeing the pictures that you post of it in your showcase thread!

Hello. I hope that your studies continue to go well.
They most certainly are, thanks Nearly finished - what a journey it's been!
@Mishare That's nice that you finished your WIP so quickly. Your house has a great layout and it really inspires me. I really like what you did with the lofts. I think you did a great job!
@Rcone You did a great job with the roofing! And your garden is very pretty. My only advice for the back yard would be to had 1 or 2 trees to give it some shade. Your deck looks great! And I like that there is a pool. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished piece:)
@oblivion627 It looks like your build was time well spent. I can't wait to download it and get a better look inside. It looks magnificent!
I've pretty much finished the interior of the ground floor of my current WIP, Pemberly, which is my version of a stately English country house. Since it will eventually be such a large house, I am trying (though not always succeeding ) to keep the details of the interiors to a minimum.
"Right half" layout of ground floor
Entrance Hall looking into Music Room (left) and Sitting Room (right)
Pemberly is looking very nice! @StSciurus Very nice layout of the ground floor! The furnishing of the rooms looks very nice! Nice armchair sitting area in the entrance hall. The statue is a nice touch there. Very nice dining room! It looks nice how there are dining seats on the ends of the table as well as on the sides. The fruit bowls are a nice touch on top of the table. The fireplace will keep the room warm whilst sims are dining. The floral wall picture is pretty for sims to see whilst enjoying eating a meal there. The green coloured seating and the green curtains look nice and complement each other well. The kitchen is very nice. It is great that there is a fireplace in the room, and the brick texture of the fireplace wall looks nice. The wall cutlery and hanging pans look great on the walls. Very nice breakfast room! The sunflowers on the table and the sunflowers wall picture look nice and sunny for sims to see when dining. Sims will enjoy looking out at the outdoors views through the windows whilst eating at the table. It is nice that there is sauna room in the build. Very nice windows piano alcove in the music room! Sims will enjoy playing the piano with sunshine coming in onto them or enjoy sitting resting on the sofa there listening to the music being played. They will have fun playing chess on the table in the room.
The WIP is looking very great!
@Brendy927 Thank you so much! I'm glad I can inspire someone
@StSciurus Wow, that build looks amazing, cant wait to see it finished
Here is my current WIP, I tried to design something big, fully by myself, no inspiration from other floorplans at all. I'm... Not sure if I like it... I might end up scrapping this design, but for now Im just gonna continue on it a bit longer.
@StSciurus I normally never build in the desert, I really prefer green grassy nature setting. But, I figured I'd give it a shot, I'm glad you like it ^_^
Your WIP is looking very nice! @Mishare Very nice design and layout of the build! The towers looks great! The dome type windows look nice in the build. The diamond water fountain feature areas look very nice! Very nice upper rooftop patio! The water around the edges of the patio and the plants and lilypads in it looks very nice! Very nice outdoors living and dining areas on the patio. Sims will enjoy cooking meals on the BBQ and eating the food at the picnic table in the sunshine. Very nice firepit area for Sims to enjoy sitting around the fire toasting food and telling stories. They will enjoy also sitting on the purple coloured sofas and armchairs chatting in the outdoors air. Sims will enjoy relaxing in the hot tub. The observatory nook patio is great! The raised plants and hedging structures either sides of the front area of the build looks very nice!
The WIP is looking great!
Hello @Mishare. If the sims have access to the rooftop patio through a doorway there, you could put seating there, and flower beds, plants or hedging on the edges of the patio. You could have the patio as an art nook, by placing an easel, or have it as a chess table nook. These are just suggestions
@rosemow Yeah, the grassy part on the front is going to be flowers and bushes, and in the back (not visible in this shot) I have a seating area. But the grey part, next to the roof. I need another roof there to finish it off. But Im having some issues with the shapes. Ive tried a couple of ways, but it keeps ending up looking like a big mess
Just a few more pics of Pemberly. I'm just about finished with the interior of the main house. As many of you know, Pemberly is the home of Mr. Darcy in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I have created a family to eventually move into this house, but instead of a big staff, &c., I have created Mr. Darcy, his sister Georgiana, the housekeeper Mrs. Reynolds, and a groundskeeper Mr. MacDougal. Since this is a 21st century family, I have added a 3-car garage to the grounds and a separate cottage for Mr. MacDougal.
Layout of upper floor
Layout of top floor and balcony
View of garage (left) and groundskeeper's cottage (center)
The main house has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The groundskeepers cottage has a separate bedroom and bathroom. I still have a lot of the 64 x 64 lot to landscape and perhaps add one more building.
The layout and furnishing of the upper level of Pemberly looks so very nice! @StSciurus Each of the bedrooms look very nice!
It is very nice that you have created simversions of the characters from Pride and Prejuduce to live in the home. It will be a special home where these sims can enjoy living in. The exterior of the groundskeepers cottage looks very nice! The flower box windows and floral lattice looks pretty and the greenery looks very nice around the edges of the front door! I hope that your landscaping work goes well.I will look forward to seeing updates on the outdoors areas
Amazing WIPs everyone!
Apologies again for late stopping-by, I'm quite lazy on forums right now, even on this thread, but please don't stop posting WIPs, I will look forward for more!
Thanks again for posting your WIPs and your updates here!
