I was watching some Let's Plays with Toddlers.
Do todders not crawl first THEN walk ony after learning to walk?

they have made them similar to the sims toddlers in free play.

    they can walk straight away

Man, those teens keep throwing me off. At first I thought he was the dad. lol

I know what you mean, but I think with my own Sims I can always tell who is a teen because they look younger in the face and a bit more scrawny.

When my first married Sim died in Sims 3, it deleted him from his wife's and son's relationship lists but the wife was still considered married. I had to have her break up with the ghost before she could get married to someone else, but only found this out when I was looking to find out why I wasn't getting the Propose interaction; since the relationship was deleted I expected the married state to be also. I suppose it's an improvement that the deceased spouse isn't immediately removed from knowledge except for the married bit.

Skill up her Thinking skill, that should help the nightmares occur less often. :)

    Skill up her imagination skill.

And/or use the lullabies radio station (which apparently prevents nightmares, but I haven't tested it :))

    That's doesn't actually work.

But the thinking skill does. I know once my toddlers get to level 3 they don't have nightmares anymore. The easiest way to gain thinking skill is click a bunch of objects and do the what's that interaction. (They get movement for wandering around and thinking for being inquisitive.)

It's Day 5. Things are getting a bit better cuz some of the tots can use the potty on their own now. Thank God. :D

They look like they're having a meeting to plot an evil plan against their caretaker. :D

I still got a few stinky toddlers. Here lil Joshua complaining to lil Dylan about his problem.

@DeKay do you play with rules? Like does the house have plenty of money and is the house well fitted or did you start in a starter ?

I just use the default money. I didn't cheat. The household only has like $9000 right now and I built the house on my own with the starting $17 000+.

Is there a possibility that they could free babies from their cribs. They were able to work out the issue of sims carting toddlers. And they were able to patch in an entire life stage flawlessly so I don't see why they couldn't. It would be awesome if babies had a similar system as toddlers where they can eventually start sitting up on their own and crawling by gaining movement skills etc.

I've been really enjoying the family play in TS4 since the implement of toddlers. I've purchased DO via origin & CL, and GT through gamedeals.com for about $20 each. I do feel a little bit more confident in this game, however I am upset that DO isn't working for me as it should :(. I'll find a work-around one day lol.

Anyway, I'll be posting family pictures soon. I'm playing one family with a single mother of two (1 toddler and 1 child). The family's lights got shut off about 2 sim days ago due to mother not having enough to pay the $500+ bill with only $32 simoleons. :D (Bills are expensive in this game! But I like it)

Extra bit: I find it absolutely hilarious when toddlers go potty and they making pooping sounds. l0l!

I have something that might help your computer performance. I use it myself, and yes it is safe. I have used it for years on my non gaming systems to give them a boost. It is called Jetboost and it shuts down unnecessary background services, and helps free up system resources.
Here is the link with a video to explain how it works. It is easy to use. Make sure and only install JetBoost. The page can be a bit confusing.

I wouldn't say it was flawless, but I get your point. Could they? Yes they could. If they were going to however, I think they would have already done so. That could be the next focus for people who wanted Toddlers. Babies that aren't treated like an object. Fully fleshed out.

They clearly could and it would be awesome. Maybe the could learn to roll and crawl and stuff.

I don´t think so. Of course they set the priority on toddlers as the missing live stage. With toddlers being as successful as they seem to be now, EA could clearly choose to focus on family play even more.

I´m not sure whether they´d patch the freed babies in or let us pay for them (which would be okay for me, too).

Now now EA, don't be stinking up our lovely lavender bath with your shopping fart. - My TS4 mods - Gallery ID: 83bienchen

They all are looking fat today. LOL. It's cuz I keep on feeding them since they get angry when they're hungry. Pretty much like me. :grimace:

Also, story time is just a horrible time for the caretaker.

I am so excited about toddlers!! After seeing the newest patch, I reinstalled TS4 after having abandoned it last April. I personally really enjoy having toddlers in the game. They are delightful.

    Some pictures.

Aww, man wish I'd seen this to try it out earlier.
I ended up completely uninstalling TS4 and reinstalling every thing and now DO works just fine in pure vanilla mode.
I may still use this tool and let you know how it goes.

    Thanks!
    Toddlers are FINALLY HERE!!!

@brendhan21 That lot is usually a community lot but I converted it into a residential lot as a temporary measure for those pictures only.

It is the pier that you can see in my siggy and below:

    16113450_1872558326360184_3752171439193913187_o.jpg?oh=e590e009ba72b689a7a25c5b09d9caaf&oe=591C6769

When converted a mail box and garbage can appeared and I also got a news paper:

After sending a few of the Sims to it from another household they used the back entrance as a front door:
