@martsm I love having lots of variety for decorative plants as well. And there are some nice items in those Vegas sets. I especially like the desk, which comes with the bedroom set and the wedding arch is fantastic for a tacky casino wedding chapel. The red chair is also more versatile than most of the other items. Most of stuff looks a bit strange in a regular home setting. I have been meaning to use it for some kind of hotel/casino lot.

@Cynth220 The first link in the first post of this threads explains the CYS math. Or click here for the same link.

Still confusing. It makes things so much harder than they should be. Stuck the 44 point overhead cabinet on my list, not gonna bother re-arranging it into it's proper price point.

Cool. I'm sure I'll get the Vegas set sooner or later (I have a number of items already, mostly from MMAO). I sometimes need reminding that just because something isn't my style, doesn't mean it isn't great to have in game. The wedding arch does look essential for a tacky, on-the-spot elopement type of wedding. I still haven't played the game enough to get into designing a lot of fun stuff like that, but would like to some day.

@spreadsheet team - no problem. I do what I can! :) I am done teaching, so I will clock back in and update for a bit.
a.k.a. Samantha (though Sam is just fine, too. Also, Simmantha, according to my husband.)

Thanks to a lot of amazing sim friends I have owned the store for a while now. If you'd like to help out a really good friend of mine who just started playing the game, here is his wishlist. Thanks!

looking forward to the mid-century modern trailblazer set. i've got 61% (which is all but the not so routine machine), so i'm hoping for a green download button! i've got quite a bit of the luxe lounge spa, too. wonder what kind of discount they'll give.
I'm curious @Radlee if you ended up with a green download button on this? I'm also missing just the Not So Routine machine, and should probably make sure I'm at my computer next time it comes up, assuming it'll be free.

yep, i got the machine for free! i hope they enable cys on the other sets that include it! :)

The King of Suede chair is totally worth it! Sorry, I had to jump in on this one. The Vegas stuff is way too themed for me but that chair is awesome. It fits seamlessly with the art deco, modern and gothic themes once you've recolored it. This chair is great example of how CASt adds so much to TS3.

@awellenbl and @martsm that is so weird, I have been working on a casino for appaloosa plains as a gift and decided to eventually put the Vegas set into use. Be warned this lot is tackier than super glue lol.

This looks totally awesome, @dothesmustle. I had something very much like this in mind, but so far I just added a dance floor, the bubble bar, Late Night bars and a wedding area to the store casino, as I had already placed that in Sunlit Tides.

Will this be for download for everybody eventually? Because even though I don't have Pets and thus no Appaloosa Plains, this would work perfectly in lots of neighborhoods. I love that it is so compact. The store one is way bigger than it has to be. I started building a classier casino for Monte Vista, but I really want to add pool tables and I don't have them yet.

I adore the one hotel room suite on top of the casino. The whole thing is just fantastic in all it's tackiness.

    Up Now:
    439) Street Couture / 342 / 725 / 53% / 2 hrs
    part of: March 2011 Compilation

    Up Next:
    440) Modernism Window / ? / 110 / % / 2 hrs
    part of: Collectionne Stäncké

    441) Hot Rod Table / ? / 75 / % / hrs
part of: I heart the 50's, Hogan’s Deep-Fried Diner Starter Kit

My fingers are itching to buy everything on the DD, which I don't yet own, but this is the last set I am missing from the March 2011 Compilation, so it should be free when this one comes around again. Must not buy.

@awellenbl Thanks so much, there is actually a classier suite wedding suite too and a late night bar, it's on a 30x 40 lot so should fit all worlds, I still have a bit of landscaping to do but I will stick the link up when I have uploaded it. I am addicted to building just now I'd love to do a casino with a showtime show room, late night bars and a really classy look, might be my next project I build more than play these days. :D
