I am happy my couple were liked enough to place. I'd like my prize to go to the others that didn't place since we all faced that long wait to the results. If it is okay could you give...
Congrats to you pallypoo for winning a prize for your couple! And thanks again for sharing your winnings with us and including me in your list. It's very much appreciated, and thanks Dash3001 for doing the gifting.
You're welcome! I really loved all the french quarter homes form this contest. everyone deserved something.

I really, really can't believe I placed. There were so many fantastic entries in this contest.
I want to give a HUGE thank you to Ivanna for keeping up with this contest in Seascape's absence (*fingers crossed* that she's okay!). And thank you to everyone who stepped up to close this contest, judge it, and participate in the sponsorship! This is what I absolutely love about this community. Everyone is so helpful, warm, and loving!
I'm still on holiday in the States for Easter, but I'll scout out some wishlists and post back here soonishly!
Thanks, Lyndz, for pointing me this way!
Congratulations to all of the winners - I'm sure this contest was not an easy one to judge!
Thank you dash3001 for awarding my prizes - but I did it again, I said Honorable Mention on the previous page instead of Runner Up. I think I might have been awarded 100 too many points so if that was due to my silly error, I am so sorry! I will cover the 100 sim points for someone else if you need me too.
Ya know, I am going to miss coming to this thread and visiting with you all. I've learned some great building tips along the way and really enjoyed seeing everyone's works of art! :-)
The Sims
Where are we going, and why am I in this hand basket?!
Hi Everyone! *waves* I just got home from work and Easter dinner with my little ones grandparents. I see everyone has checked in at least once. YAY! Now I am going to start on my gifting. This is going to be so much fun for me. Be back as soon as I'm done.
I didn't want to post a lot while everyone was getting their prizes sorted but I do agree I hate to see this thread go. It was this contest that got me to come over to the gift gathering forum (I didn't really understand what this forum was for before stumbling across this contest.) I'm so thankful because there are so many wonderful people I wouldn't have had a chance to meet otherwise.
The talent of the builders and sim creators blew me away, I hope that everyone who participated is proud of what they accomplished. Thanks again to the judges and everyone who has stepped in to help, it's very much appreciated.
Romagi, It took me 2 hours to get it all in. Some of the wishlists wouldn't open for me. I kept trying until I got in. Typing with 1 finger doesn't help I just saw yours, Thank you too!!!
LOL! I know I was at it for over an hour cause it would spin forever before opening the page. But towards the end I had like 20 tabs open at the top so my internet was really struggling! LOL
One finger!?!? What happened to you?!?!?
I just got back in here and found it so THANK YOU snowdove and ivanna!
Congratz to all the Winners and Everyone! Love them all. Course the names and the photographer trait has been changed on most every sim. LOL Tho I'm thinking I need to change the name from Twinbrook to Greenwich Village or something for all the artistic simmies living there!
Pallypoo - That was very generous of you to share your winnings with the rest of the contestants! Thank you very much! I love new hair!!!
Romagi1 - Thank you so much for sharing your winnings with me. I have had my eye on the gumball machine for a long time, so excited to use it in game. Thanks a lot!
And thank you again to all of the sponsors and judges. This was a great contest. It inspired so much creativity, and we all can benefit from using the beautiful homes created here in our games!
Aww! Thank you everyone for all the congrats and kind words.
Jessa, my dear, you stepped up with all the rest of us. and quite generously too I might add. Thank you for helping out as well and also for the beautiful gifts. Not necessary, but also much appreciated. I have new pretties to play with. YAY! Now stay out of my WL...lol
Candyeyedsimmy, Thank you for the gift. Again, not necessary but much appreciated.
And you too Snowmoon. I love everyone of the gifts, and thank you very much, but it really wasn't necessary.
You all make me blush. You also are giving me far too much credit. There were so many others that jumped right in and offer to help out. We all have a great fondness for Seascape and wanted to help out. We all also have made many great friends through her contests which just makes the community here even better. I just love the people here in GG. We have some of the best members in all the forums, right here. I made a promise to help and with the help of a lot of other friends, old and new, managed to keep it.
I am going to miss this thread as well. I am considering speaking with Jenn and trying to keep these House Hunter's contests going for a while, but probably not on prize scale that Seascape was able to do them. At least until Seascape returns, hopefully. I will have to see after this is all wrapped up and after I spend a little more time with the newest addition in the family.
Thankyou to everyone who made this such an enjoyable competition. Seascape, competitors, judges, sponsors and lurkers! Hopefully Seascape's problems get resolved soon and she comes back to the forums.
Congratulations Ivanna! and thanks for working so hard to wrap this competition up.
First of all, congratulations again to you and your daughter, Ivanna. Kyra is such a beautiful name, and I am so pleased to hear that she and her mother are doing well.
Secondly...wow, wow, wow...I cannot believe I placed in this contest!! There were so many amazing entries, and the overall standard was phenomenal. I had so much fun researching New Orleans; and spending time with you all and looking at your wonderful builds and sims has given me some of best times I've ever had on this forum.
A huge thank you to Potterphyle, Jessabeans, Candyeyedsimmy, and Dash3001 for stepping in to rescue us in Seascape's absence (and to everyone else who is helping out in her other contests), and to Jenn and you, Ivanna, for staying on top of things.

To Ivanna420 & Greenie, I just recently thanked you lovely ladies on your Mypages but I would like to thank you both here as well (You may just see this first since MyPage convos tend to get buried rather quickly lol)
Ivanna420, thank you very very much for generously gifting me on GreenCats' behalf!! I greatly appreciate it! Congratulations on the wonderful new addition of your precious granddaughter as well!
Greenie: Wow, thank you so, so much for being so generous with your winnings!! I am so honored that you thought of me, you are so incredibly kind!! I am going to get TONS of use out of this set, I now can have my sims eat out at a hibachi grills just like I did in college
Congratulations on your win, and I think I've told you this before, but when I first saw the wedding cake house, my mouth literally dropped open in awe!
I hope you ladies have both had a wonderful holiday/weekend!
Snowdove! Thank you for the lovely NOLA gifts! I think you completed my set! That was super-sweet of you, and I'm so thrilled and grateful! (And I've been DYING for that Spanish Moss suit - I can't wait to put it on a sim!)
I haven't been keeping up with everything - I finally found a job, but it's pretty far from home, so I don't get home until late. By the time dinner is made & eaten, I don't have much sim time anymore! So Ivanna, I don't know how late this is, but congratz on becoming a grandma! That's SO wonderful! {HUGS}
Thanks to the hosts and all the sponsors - I see there was something going on with Seascape - I hope everything is OK there!
All the creations - both sim & homes were so incredibly beautiful, and I've downloaded far too many to count! This was a wonderful locale, and everyone really nailed it!
I am sorry this post is so late I have not visited this thread in a few days
